Silver's basically a physical carbon copy of his biodad, so what did he get from her? like, I understand why the two of them kind of have to stay as these super vague and mysterious figures -- the whole point of them is that their story ended 400+ years ago and they're not really relevant anymore (and. well. the more that gets explained about them, the less that can just kinda be handwaved as "oh the politics were Very Messy") (we can sit here and theorize all day but let us acknowledge that, ultimately, canon gave us almost nothing about them post-Meleanor and we'd just be making things up). I do still wonder about her though! RIP Lea, we never knew you and we probably never will.

With Clementine being a Ninetales in the future, what would she make of the guild? In the years upon years that she's alive, would the guild still be around? Would she watch and guide young heroes as they come and go?

And, does she ever end up meeting Celebi in this long lifespan of hers?

Ooh, I think the Guild would still be around, yeah! Clementine would definitely continue helping out the Guild as much as she could, even once she got older and retired. She'd always be super happy to see new apprentices, and she'd help mentor them! :]

I could even imagine Wigglytuff offering up the position of Guildmaster to her, but she'd politely decline the offer. She would've been a great Guildmaster, but she just wants to take it easy for the last remaining part of her life. And plus, she'd grieve Piper for a long time, so she wouldn't be in the right headspace for a position like that.

And yeah, I think she'd definitely end up meeting Celebi again, and the rest of Future Trio too! Celebi would offer to take Clementine back into the past to see Piper again if she ever wanted to.

I really did try my best, you dont know what Ive been through this whole time. olivia was born in liverpool, uk but her family has moved around far too many times for her to count honestly. not just cross-country, but within europe and australia a bit as well.

her mom's job as a travel nurse meant her family didn't quite stay in one place for too long, which THEN made it a bit hard for a young olivia to feel comfortable and make friends easily knowing she'd be gone again soon enough.

that leads her to become one of those kids that people look at and are like 'oh wow she's sooo smart and quiet' and she is! but she's mostly just used to keeping to herself and reading books all the time because!! the characters in the books don't leave like people do!!

once she graduated high school, she decides that she wants to have some sort of constant in her life. she has the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, anywhere at all…

… and she chooses to go to yeonhwa, not only because it's a prestigious school in general but because it'd be somewhere new for her entirely. she has other family there that she hasn't seen since she was a baby, so she also decides this would be a great time to get to reconnect with them as well. she gets to make her own story, and hopefully she can finds some actual friends here!!

she's in her 2nd year now, double majoring in marketing and literature AND with a minor in visual communication (yeah she's an overachiever), and she feels more comfortable here than she has constantly packing and unpacking her life in new places for 18 years... but she still has a lot of room to grow!

personality.

now i say all of that to say… olivia is a bit of a loner!! listen… keeping to yourself a lot for 18 years doesn't always equal immediate change, especially when she's used to having to let go of what connections she does make in her life.

she wants to make close friends she really does. but it's hard and it's just easier having acquaintances. type of person to go home after the hangout and go 'damn that was not my best work </3' even though everyone probably enjoyed her company very much.

she's EXTREMELY bookish. she rents out a study room at the library's quiet floor just so she can read a few books in peace before going to her next class. the library staff knows her very well and already has her favorite room's key prepped for her before she even gets there. this girl already finished whatever readings were due for thursday's class LAST week.

a bit of a workaholic. just a bit. just a bit!!!! (staring at her two majors, minor, and leadership roles in clubs) her family is fairly well off, but she's definitely attending yeonhwa on mostly scholarship money, and because of that she's making SURE she's staying on top of her grades for it.

she buys cute and pretty stationery because she believes in having nice looking notes to help inspire good study habits. she's a dork.

definitely the type of person to do something more to help others than herself. she has a tendency to go out of her way if someone needs something (someone asking for her notes when they have a test next time the class meets), but she feels like it's better to help someone who needs it and lightly scold them for not being better prepared than to punish them for it. she is very much a big sister vibe gal (and also an actual big sister to one slightly annoying and silly girl in middle school actually)…

she's the type of person who is very nice overall but does not exactly try hard to become close to someone else, if that makes sense? she keeps people at arm's length most of the time because she's afraid, that if she doesn't get accepted to yeonhwa's mba program after her 4th year, she has to up and leave and go back to europe which is fine but not what she wants right now!!!

someone PLEASE take this girl out of the library/her room and take her somewhere fun. i'm so serious. she can count the number of parties she's gone to and it's NOT a lot.

business school + humanities school majors come here… with her label, she is the absolute first person to go to if you need the best notes for any classes. during finals week, she even gets one of the classrooms for two giant study sessions (one for business majors, one for humanities majors each) with plenty of snacks and sodas, its an event. she's organized every class gc and runs it like the navy. come to her unofficial office hours at sweet corn at 2-4 pm tues/wed/thurs. PLEASE let her help you cause she wants to see her fellow students succeed.

really anyone in general… come to her "office hours"… this girl will read your essays and tell you what to fix and write instead to get an a. she'll show you the best website to find the most accurate summaries and answers to the questions over that 90 page chapter you didn't read for class tomorrow. payment? what payment? this was just her being nice. make it up to her by not failing your classes.

international students also come here… i'm not sure how many muses so far were born in/lived in europe + australia at any time but if we could have possible childhood friends that would be so cute… possibly some friends she lost contact with and they suddenly realize they actually know each other because they're that person they hung out with for like 4 months until she had to get up and move suddenly, OR childhood friends that she was able to keep in contact with and become long-time pen pals with…

intl students in general!!! she's the vice president of the intl students organization so she'd go out of her way to make sure everyone in the org is doing well and adjusting to south korea, especially if they're 1st years.

capella members (and polaris boys since they're chill with each other)… she's also the treasurer of capella so again she'll be looking out for the rest of her girls. she definitely goes crazy during their events to make sure each one is better than last year's. also working super hard to prove herself since she's only a 2nd year and would DEFINITELY want to become president in her 3rd-4th year.

who else out here torturing their muses by giving them the same health issues as them olivia also has low blood sugar so she tends to keep a few snacks on her in case it gets too low (in particular cantabile fruit pouches, she likes the melon ones.) maybe your muse helps her out during a study session between them where they can tell she's low energy by buying her some juice and such when she forgets her stuff in her room. a rare moment she'll allow herself to depend on someone else.

the rare friend or two she's managed to keep somehow… perhaps they were in the same orientation group (if both 2nd years) and that's how they bonded, even if they may or may not have anything close in common… odd but close friendships…

someone accidentally viewing one of the rare moments she finally Crashes from all the work she takes on. some poor soul being asked to check by library staff if anyone else is still hanging around at closing only to see this girl asleep at her laptop in one of the private study rooms…

of course the yeonchella event is going on right now as well so i'm also open to threads for that too!! i straight up do not have anything in mind but i'm so open to planning

do you think ashler would consider each other best friends while dating or would they have people they’re closer with in that sense ? either is fine i think it just depends on the couple

in all of my ashler hcs i tend to make them impossibly close. like. soulmates level of close. i just don't really like putting a label to it, so the term best friend doesn't really come up in my posts, but if i'm gonna be technical, i can definitely see their closeness as that of best friends.

tyler would be able to pick up on ashlyn's emotional/social state with little to no verbal cue, while ashlyn would know when tyler has too much weight on his shoulders. their ability to sync together and be exactly what the other needs is something i can clearly see in their relationship. when ashlyn is too overwhelmed by things beyond her control, she goes to tyler for comfort, and when tyler has too much on his mind, he goes to ashlyn to ground himself in the present.

and while i can see them being close with other people besides each other, i think ashler (especially when they're dating) would have a different kind of bond that no one else can mimic.

so yeah, in a way, i can definitely see them as best friends.

as for the how did they start dating one...

if we are talking canon timeline, i don't think sabo and law actually, officially, started dating just yet.

i mean, following my headcanon that they met and kept on meeting after marineford, something definitely sparked between them. there is tension, there is attraction, there are feelings, even, and im not saying that nothing happened between them, either- but given that they're both emotionally unavailable i doubt they will talk about it properly. at least not now.

they would also never ask each other out in a normal way; their confession would be something extremely nonsensical to anyone else but them, like exchanging each other's hearts, or something unexpectedly very romantic like proclaming that they wouldn't survive a world where the other isn't there with them. (kinda cheesy, i know, i wasn't inspired- but you get the gist!)

i have an AU (that technically isn't an AU just yet, but i'm being realistic) in which law and bepo get rescued by the revolutionary army and work alongside them for a while. i call it "temporary revolutionary law" (very creative) and you can see some of my sabolaw art tagged with it. within that realm of possibility, i think sabo and law would get way closer way sooner, and potentially start dating (still, not openly nor officially) a bit before the final battle at laughtale.

to answer this question more accurately: sabo and law have always been interested in each other, since the first moment they've met. they work well together as allies and partners, their different personalities would make them clash at times but ultimately they complement each other in a way that's unique and comforting at the same time. their differences and similarities are what makes them great, because they just- click. they realize it in a heartbeat. admitting that, though... it's a bit harder. so they don't. they just keep orbiting around each other until they collide.

the dating and the ~officiality~ of it all will come after they regain some sense of emotional stability, which will take a while, but that's okay, they'll get there! i'm rooting for them!!

The people who think that alayne is a different entity than sansa are the same types of Stans that think that jeyne Poole being raped somehow translates to arya being the queen of the north... like pick a side

Cognitive dissonance is so strong with these people. There is a very good breakdown of the arya-jeyne-north angle by @agentrouka-blog where she so succinctly puts forward that not only is it deeply concerning that a victim of rape and abuse is your fav’s proxy to leadership in the north, it also widely insulting that Arya of House Stark has a claim to the north only through marriage (to the sadistic political enemy of the Starks, no less). Not to mention that it is a grossly inaccurate reading of the text and understanding of how basic succession in asoiaf works if we think that somehow Arya is the lady of Winterfell because Jeyne married Ramsay - on top of misunderstanding character arcs and motivations and where the story might actually be leading but sure.

The Arya I know and love will never accept to be the lady of Winterfell because of a fraud marriage. She will also not mercy kill Jeyne because what the fuck?! But I digress. She will lay her claim to Winterfell because she is a Stark, not Lady Bolton and she wants her home back. How are people so hung up on Arya being the Starkiest Stark to ever Stark while also trying to pit her as heir to her own homeland as a Bolton? How does that work?

Again, treating Sansa as her alter-ego Alayne who is conveniently also Lysa 2.0, and will have the same fate as her, is rooted in villainising Sansa and ‘getting her out of the way’ for their faves. At its core, it’s yet again badly understood text with cherry-picked evidence and misplaced emotion.

I am sure both of these have been debunked again and again but people will see what they want to see, and I am already sick of fighting that.

I'm curious on what your opinion is for princess yue? Personally she's my favourite minor character.

In my humble opinion, she's great! I find her character to be very tragic but beautiful at the same time.

My memory is a bit rough on those episodes but I loved her dynamic with Sokka along with her mini parallels with Katara. At first I thought Sokka falling in love with her at first sight was really corny, and while I still kind of do- I appreciate the parts of their dynamic a lot more. Along with what's she's used to being challenged. Let me explain: we already know she's the princess. A very high class figure in the Northern Water tribe. However, we later learn how she also struggles from it along with the the expectations. Specifically, the arranged marriage we learn of. We see her dilemma on wanting to be with Sokka, or conforming to the societal expectations of being the princess. She's heartbroken, and it genuinely hurts her to leave Sokka. The man she REALLY loves unlike the one she was set up to be with. That's why she cried after Katara's fight with Pakku, aka the fight that was literally Katara challenging the societal expectations of the Northern Water tribe. But it’s not just that that’s interesting, it’s how tragic she is. Her dad straight up said that he had a dream that she would become the moon spirit. And how she had to be revived when she was a BABY. It’s sort of like that was doomed to be her very fate from the start. It’s very sad/tragic but also kind of symbolic in a way. Because she once again HAD to conform to it. Just like how she was forced to conform to the water tribes societal expectations. It’s like once again- she had to do what she was fated to do. However at the same time…once she became the Moon spirit- she’s kind of free. She doesn’t have to conform to anymore expectations, no arranged marriages, or anything. She was finally free to kiss Sokka with no backlash before she went away. In simple terms: after death, she’s finally free. No more having to conform to ANYTHING. She’s just…free after death.
