I tried to make the Nevarrian Hazelnut-cake from Lucanis the first time. I followed not 100% the recipe. 😅

and i didn't use apricots liquore or rum.

but here it is. i will see how it taste tomorrow. and my co worker will try too

Update 09.01.:

Since i had to call in sick today. My husband took it to his work. They all really like it. One comment was: "it tastes outrageous good"

I test it myself later: It is a good cake. :) But it is not my favourite.

ps.: the whole thing has roundabout 5000 kcl. i was curious xD

The cake is soft, the chocolate really good. i miss a little more a hazelnut-taste. and i think it works more with peaches then apricots.

Hey, thank you so much! <3 This is one of the albums I always stick on while I'm working, I think the all the synth and the instrumental tracks give me the same vibe as video game soundtracks which are the other thing I listen to to focus!

My favourite lyric:

Gonna go with the chorus from Waterfalls, just because I think it's such a venerable and revealing lyric. It's wild to me that people (including Paul) like to say he doesn't put much of himself in songs and then this song is just... saying this...

One Of These Days! After an album that plays so heavily with the synth sounds this is so perfectly placed, it really does feel like a breath of fresh air. I think it also goes to show how much Paul thinks about the structure and feel of an album far beyond it just being a list of tracks and it's just a beautiful song, one of my all time favourites.

The song that makes me cry:

There's not really any on this album, Summer's Day Song is a little melancholy but ultimately optimistic, so it doesn't make me sad.

The song that’s a fucking bop:

TEMPORARY SECRETARY. I won't hear a bad thing about it 😌 (but also it's a bop on an album of bops tbh)

5. What is your favourite Beatles music video?

This is surprisingly easy! I love the fish and chips version of I Feel Fine. Brian was right, it does humanise them. But he was wrong that that was a bad thing. The way John looks up when the guitar twang starts the song. The way Paul sort of tries squatting down with the others but it's too awkward. Paul's glossy lips and giggles.

Special mention for the extremely queer animated video for I Feel Fine from 1966

16. What is your favourite scene/moment from Help?

When the racially stereotyped baddies lay explosives underground, one of the boxes of TNT is labeled "equal to exactly one millionth of all the high explosive exploded in one week of the second world war". It's a remarkable moment in a very silly movie.

Black-eyed Susan: Does Rook believe justice exists? (The act/concept, not the character) Would they ever take justice into their own hands?

Honestly Mags is an incredibly jaded person, and most likely for a long time she wouldn’t believe in justice. Especially when she was a slave, she would have felt incredibly helpless and like nothing she—or anyone else—could do would ever rectify the wrongs in the world. 

Even when she gets to the point in her life where she can (and does 😈) take justice into her own hands, she feels like nothing can ever make up for the atrocities that have happened in life; in her life, in the lives of other elves, in the lives of so many unfortunate people. So while little ‘justices’ could be doled out in the world, she doubts there could ever be true absolution or vindication.  

But even if she doesn’t fully believe in it, she enjoys having a brutal hand in what she deems right 😈 Even if true justice could never be achieved, you bet your ass she’s going to try. 

(Tbh it’s a bit off topic but I feel like if Solas somehow got to Mags before Varric, she could have very easily been persuaded to be an agent of Fen’Harel if they weren't scrapped lol. There is an argument to be made that tearing down the veil could equal justice for spirits and elves, in a way. RIP Solas’ agents, gone but not forgotten cry emoji)

Myrtle: How does Rook’s life (and potentially their partner’s life) change if they have children and/or get married?

Oh she would be so uncomfortable but she would love it lmao, that girl would eat married life UP. Magdalena would spend literally all of her time spending Emmrich’s money, and fucking that man as often as she could 😈

She would feel super guilty about it at first, after never having free time or abundance in life before, but Emmrich would encourage it wholeheartedly. Oh, he LIVES for it. They would take a five month (MINIMUM) honeymoon. After that Emmrich would fund her ability to take any class she wanted, take up any hobby she wanted, literally ANYTHING that woman wanted would be taken care of. They would live in Nevarra and her necromancer would make sure she never wanted for anything ever again. 🥺💕

A poster I made for Godzilla: Bloodbath - a fan-made Godzilla AU/Analogue-horror web series. The premise is (and be aware I may butcher this) that a basilosaurus survived the K-T extinction event and lived long into colonial times where it was hunted and provoked into mutation for many years - now they have resurfaced heck-bent on revenge against humanity. The creator says they're inspired by the original 1954 film as well as Shin Godzilla so less giant monster fights and more incomprehensible horror.

Hates sitting/sleeping/napping in the middle of a room, he has to be near a wall with his back against it and him facing the open areas. it makes him extremely uncomfortable otherwise.

He rarely completes anything, but he does occasionally write poems. It's super secret because this is exactly the type of thing he would tease someone else about if he found out they were into, because he soooo wants to not be associated with it. (Imagine if he wasn't so anxious about presenting himself with honesty)
