👀k, so... quick question: In Raph's timeline, were the Krangg ever defeated, or were they completely dominant over Raph and the world? Did Mikey have to force Raph through the portal and sever his connection afterwards? How did that go?

I drew this for fun the other night to take a little break from answering all y'all's wonderful asks <3 Of course then I realized that this would be perfect for answering this ask so uh XD

Grabbing Raphael was probably the most. . . challenging of the three brothers.

Leo was all for it, Donnie took a little persuading.

But for Raph, Mikey had to physically restrain him to get close enough to sever the Kraang's control over the big guy.

The hardest part was definitely the fact that Miguel had to first get Raph out of his timeline, because the Kraang were definitely top dog there.

They knew Mikey was there the moment he got to Raph, (all thanks to the hive mind complex) and he barely had enough time to escape with his brother.

I have plans on hopefully making a comic or maybe separate smaller comics that'll elaborate on Operation: Bro-covery further, but for now here's a little sneak peak of sorts into Raph's rescue X3

theo's situation in 6b is so sad and frustrating, bc what do you mean the deputies kept waking him up but never did anything more than make him move? you're telling me not a single one of them ran the plates of the truck that consistently kept showing up in different parking lots around town? not one of them realized the truck was stolen, nor did they bother to ask him for any ID before making him move? this baffles me, bc of the sheer amount of times they woke him in that montage, yet none of them really ever said a word to him.

and the other thing that bothers me is when he's in the station. he gets arrested for suspicion of murder, and not a single deputy mentions they recognize him? his truck is impounded in the lot out back and they still haven't run the plates? they don't question the bullet holes, nor the fact it was found across the tracks? theo proves himself innocent of the crime; he had no connection to the two found in his company, but they're just going to let him go? sign this piece of paper and go back to the streets? the arrest record had him marked as a juvenile, nobody cared about that?

now i have two theories about this situation, bc it keeps me awake at night - the implication that an entire sheriff's station could be so negligent of a homeless kid in their own small town. one is that the department lacked communication so greatly, anyone who ever came in contact with theo didn't report, nor talk about it. either they just wanted him gone, or he left so quickly, they didn't have time to ask for ID or run plates (which i highly doubt; he was asleep, and they could've run the plates before waking him if they cared / did their job correctly). maybe since he wasn't a great disruption, they didn't see the need to look into the truck, nor the kid occupying it. maybe the deputies aware talked amongst themselves, but never thought it a big enough deal to handle properly. when he came into the station, they whispered, but didn't want to admit he was familiar. when the truck was impounded, they recognized it and didn't bother to run it.

but my other, and more likely theory is that the sheriff didn't care, and therefore, neither did his deputies. maybe they did report it. maybe they ran his plate through the system, determined it was stolen, and made a case to the sheriff, but he waved it off. maybe he told them to just keep him moving, and hoped he'll leave eventually. it could be why none of them bat an eye about letting the juvenile kid without proper ID back onto the street in the bullet-stricken, stolen truck. maybe they cared at one point, but when the sheriff blew them off and tossed their reports in the trash, their concern dwindled, and their empathy went with it. because why would stilinski care at all for theo, when he, himself, threatened to shoot him if he deemed it necessary? stilinski saw him as an evil person for whom he had no use; he was visibly irritated when liam suggested they use his help to fight, and despite having no deputies for support, he still hesitated against liam's idea. theo being reduced to nothing and forced to sleep in vulnerability was - to stilinski - exactly what he deserved for the hell he caused.

and i can understand stilinski being stubborn to trust him. i can see why he'd dislike the idea of relying on him for help, and why he'd prefer to keep him behind bars until he could prove himself useful. but i can't wrap my head around stilinski being okay with neglecting him, knowing he's completely alone and doing nothing about it. signing him out without a care in the world. promising a kid he'd shoot him if he did something wrong. stilinski knowing and ignoring it seems far-fetched at first, until you remember that promise he'd made earlier - with a witness, no less - and then it becomes clear.

Man “Battle Nexus: New York” was a great episode but I do have one major gripe with it.

Like. Raph being paired up with Ghostbear? Makes sense. Works great. Works amazing, even.

Mikey being paired up with Meatsweats? Yeah that checks out!!

Donnie getting…Hypno…? I mean. I guess Donnie doesn’t like magic so it kindaaa works but Kendra would have been a much better choice to me personally. Maybe Big Mama didn’t wanna include a human or something…

And Leo getting…uh…one of the Sando Brothers???? Of all villains? Nah let’s be real, his main villain is more Big Mama herself (or Leo could be considered his own worst enemy lmao-). Hell Hypno would have probably worked better here considering their shared love for magic tricks and stuff, but Carl Sando????

Because they are on my mind, please accept one of my favorite Wangxian moments of all time.

Chapter 87

In my opinion, this is one of the most important Wangxian scenes in the whole novel. It is very special to me. It made me tear up when I was doing my read through.

Time and time again, Wei Wuxian has fallen, he's gotten hurt, people have failed him. The people who were supposed to be there for him have either left, he's lost them tragically, or they've betrayed him at some point in his life. His life has been one of loneliness and loss.

He has never had someone who he could rely on so heavily. He has never had a solid safety net before, someone on equal footing to him that he could fall back on and rely on. If anything he has spent his entire life being a safety net for other people. He has spent his whole life being strong for others.

Now, however, Lan Wangji is that safety net for him.

For the first time in his life, he has someone to truly catch him when he falls. He can let himself fall and still be safe. That "thank you" isn't just about Lan Wangji catching him after he fell from the tree, its about everything.

I want. Four to get appreciation. Because

Four gave a ton of unnoticed help when Twilight was injured

The fight with Wild was difficult, and I know we're all concerned about his negative view of the shadow crystal

But Four did something that no one else really thought of to help- He took care of Twi's stuff

From the beginning he told Twilight to not worry about them

So Four took care of pretty much everything but the others (that Sky and Wars handled)

He took care of Epona

Which is so very important- he took care of Twilight's horse. After her arrival at the stable Four followed up on her

And for Epona, a horse so attached to her human, having some company can help so much for reassurance

He took care of Twilight's stuff

He got Twi's shield- his bags and equipment, and organized it into one place

And he was worried. He obviously found the shadow crystal while handling Twi's stuff, but his negative reactions to it were out of concern.

Also- because of his placement in this scene

I'm fairly convinced Four was ready to start cooking before Wild showed up (since he's beside the counter with food supplies). At the very least he had the basket of fruit out for everyone -but he was literally standing with food behind him- he thought of everything

And he did housekeeping!

Wars payed for the inn, so Four took care of the inn

Realistically these boys were probably not too concerned with tidyness. Four got all of Twi's things on one table, and took care of the room they stayed in

Organizing tables and Twi's things, having food supplies ready, and opening the curtains- overall he was the one tidying up the inn

Four helped in a huge way! He took care of Twi's horse (Epona is so important), his equipment and shield and bag, as well as the other rooms in the inn

Four filled in all the little tasks that others didn't think of. He helped in ways that were needed, but not obvious

There's a lot of problems with the shadow crystal and with Wild, and I don't know what's gonna happen in the future

But don't forget this- don't forget that Four was one who stepped up in an almost unnoticeable way

Don't forget that when everyone was barely holding it together, Four visited Twilight's horse and took care of his things

No matter what develops in the future- this amount of care shown is important ya know?

i watched kpop demon hunters and it was pretty good my only complaints are that rumi's demon form is lackluster and the whole "demons are evil" plot was a bit muddied. like. are demons evil or not. if some of them are misunderstood like the narrative says why are they all banished from the world. why don't some of them get to live? why does rumi get to live and other demons dont?? b/c shes "one of the good ones"? idk im probably looking too deep into it but they literally gave us a character who was a demon but also throughout the narrative it was fed to us that he was "misunderstood" so iyam ☝️confused.

especially b/c the way they set it up rumi was coming to a realization that she didnt like the way the honmoon was set up b/c it was built on the idea that in order to keep it sustained she had to hide her "flaws" (being born as something isnt a flaw and this realization was good)?? but she ended up creating a new honmoon and trapping a bunch of demons down there anyway??? confusion 😭 but only b/c the movie didnt really specify what they achieved with the new honmoon. i assume it traps all those demons + gwi-ma but Stronger. if it doesnt do that ig it leaves it open to another movie?? lol
