Random Shiki Headcanons

When they’re out in public, sometimes people will ask to take photos with them because they think they’re cosplaying. This especially happens to Manji, Takumo, Kojiro, Fourth and Kujaku

Out of the five aforementioned, four of them are the only ones who would agree. Everybody else would range from nah to fuck off.

Fourth is in the nah category and Six is in the fuck off category but they can be persuaded to join in by the others who would do it.

Everyone thinks Ikkaku and Korjiro are secretly a thing and no one believes them when they deny it.

Takumo owns several pet tarantulas and they probably have sweet names like Mochi, Doriyaki and Dango.

Manji desperately wants a pet but is worried to bring one home because of Six’s virus. Unfortunately Isou has refused to make a version of Six’s medicine specifically for animals.

If it weren’t for Six’s virus already stopping them, Isou would actually make it a rule that none of them are allowed pets. With well over a dozen people living in the same house, he’d be terrified the entire house would become overrun with animals before he knew it. He’d be especially scared to find out what Manji would bring home.

But what he doesn’t know is that Six is trying to make a version of his medicine that can be given to animals and is getting closer and closer to succeeding. He wants a pet snake.

Kujaku has everyone’s birthdays memorised, always plans something for each one and makes the rest of the group participate. Minus the birthday boy/gal. They’re kept in the dark about any planning because she always wants it to be a surprise.

Kojiro is more or less the same. The only ones he wouldn’t bother doing this for is Mei because he’s an asshole and Elf because he avoids him like the plague and only interacts with him if he has to.

Kojiro has multiple options for prostesics. His favourite is of course his tail but the does also have a pair of prosthetic legs to make it easier for him to get around on land.

Takumo, Six and Manji all have a steadily growing pile of plushies in their rooms and it’s thanks to Kojiro. Takumo has spider ones, Six has snake ones and Manji has all sorts of animals.

Jin will also get a pile of plushies the moment Kojiro finds out she likes cats.

Six will say it’s lame every time he receives one and hisses “shut up” at whoever points out he still keeps them.

In return, they’ve all given Kojiro shark plushies.

Ikkaku has also given him various shark memorabilia that he’s come across and made him think of him. He thinks by leaving them on Kojiro’s doorstep, he won’t know they’re from him but he knows.

He would have figured out they were from Ikkaku on his own but he knows for sure because Elf told him.

Elf is the worst snitch. He knows almost everything about everyone he infects. Including their secrets and loves to spill them. Especially to the people they want to keep their secrets from. He thinks it’s funny.

Mei, Isou, Six, Elf and possibly Mashiro as well all have an I’m surrounded by idiots moment at least once a day.

Six would never say it out loud but he does genuinely see most of his colleagues as his friends.

He sees Isou as a dad figure but not even the most extreme tortures would get that out of him.

Before joining Shiki, Six used to smoke (no point in trying to keep yourself healthy when you’re basically death itself) but Isou put a stop to that immediately.

Six sometimes steals the others alcohol. He’s never actually been drunk though. Or at least not that drunk. He just likes the taste of it.

He would drink with Ikkaku and Kojiro and often does but they won’t let him drink more than a single glass because Isou would murder them they think he’s too young to drink any more than that.

When Mei first joined the group, he couldn’t be bothered to learn everyone’s names. He made sure remember his employers names from the get go but as for mere colleagues, Six was Emo Kid, Kojiro was Shark Dumbass, Takumo was Spider Freak, Ikkaku was Muscle for Brains, Kujaku was Witch Lady and Forth was Old Man, Manji was Horned Idiot and Natsumi was just plain Narcissist.

Some of them have stuck. Six, Isou and Elf now also refer to Kojiro as Shark Dumbass and some of them still jokingly call forth Old Man but Mei called Kujaku Witch Lady to her face one time and ended up getting his ass beat in three seconds by ways Mei still can not comprehend. He did not know that being called a witch was a sore subject for her but he along with everyone else learned that very quickly.

Elf’s favourite nickname for Isou is Dad, in reference to the irony that despite hating kids, he’s taking care of three of them. Manji, Six and Tsu-in

Isou hates this nickname more than any of the others Elf has given him, which is why it’s Elf’s favourite.

Ikkaku and Kojiro have been joined at the hip since the moment they met but Kojiro started spending even more time with him Ikkaku told him he doesn’t trust anyone. He doesn’t know everything that’s happened to Ikkaku but he knows what it’s like to be harmed so much you feel like you can never trust another person again. By genuinely trying to be Ikkaku’s friend, he’s hoping he can help him heal.

Special Agent Ponkan, the little nugget below, works for the PMDverse equivalent of Interpol (currently unnammed lol), dedicated to bringing the biggest and baddest crimes to justice. Local police forces can ask for their help or they can carry out independent missions as their intelligence department sees fit.

Ponkan specializes in criminal arrests, so she's the force the 'coppers' send to apprehend already identified criminals. She's pretty smart on her own, but her speciality is her sheer strength and stamina (if you've played with Ogerpon competitively, you know this little ogre packs a punch).

Currently, in the DOL story, this Interpol is investigating the string of crimes caused by a famous gang led by the wicked Babyface, who is the baddest loan shark of the Sand Continent. His lackeys had been selling poisoned mochis to small towns to brainwash its residents, leaving the town looted and in shambles by the end. Why they're doing this isn't exactly known, but Interpol suspects it may have something to do with bringing back Dark Matter by spreading negativity once more. Other crimes are also being investigated with a similar hypothesis.

For now, Babyface's three enforcers, Pretty Boy, Wise Guy, and Big Fella have been caught and sent to the maximum security penitentiary where only the most heinous criminals end up: The Alabaster Citadel, located at the very tip of the Mist Continent. They'll undergo interrogation and maybe we'll be a little closer to figure out what's going on.

A bonus for you: the Alabaster Citadel is run by its Master Warden, Rimes. He'll show up in the story eventually.

Headcanons for each soulmate (& maybe soulmates in law) meeting Damon’s parents for the first time?

While they do briefly pass by each other several times while visiting Damon, there isn't an official meeting until Damon's all healed up. He isn't quite hyping his soulmates up to his parents, but they can tell that their kid is smitten with most of them by the way he talks about them. I also imagine that it's more one big gathering because there are so many (Will also be sprinkling some general hcs I have about the Maitsu parents in here)

◊ Toshiko: Congratulations, it's a girl! She makes an effort to speak even more maturely/respectfully than normal in front of the Maitsu's, but lets Damon's nickname of Mochi slip at some point and gets incredibly embarrassed. Don't worry, girl, you've already charmed them enough that they'd adopt you then and there if you didn't have a mother already. I feel that the Maitsu's are the type to have wanted a second child but were unable to because of finances, so they're all to happy to treat Toshiko as one of their own. (Mrs. Maitsu definitely starts calling Damon Mochi afterward, to his embarrassment)

◊ Diana: "This is just like meeting one of your girl friend's parents! Except...it's a boy." Definitely a little nervous, but she's nice and she's sure they're nice, so everything should be okay! She 100% is quadruple checking that there isn't a single wrinkle on her clothes and that she didn't somehow smear her makeup in the 45 seconds since she last checked. Another one who easily gets in the parents' good graces fairly quick. (She tells them about how Damon lied about getting a horse calendar)

◊ Eva: She is calm, she is cool, she is collected, she is lying to herself and all of you reading this. She tries to go for her way of speaking from the prologue, but stutters right at the end of her introduction. Even though she logically knows they wouldn't, there's definitely some anxiety about them laughing at her for her Ultimate, but the Maitsu's probably don't know about the context behind Mathlete beyond "highschooler good at math." They're the first adults who ask if this girl enjoys what she does and listen when she mentions the other subjects she excels at. Definitely the one who enters with a poker face while internally screaming the whole time, then when it's time to leave she tells herself, "See, that wasn't so bad." (Maybe wait a week or twenty before mentioning anything about EGA events though. She's socially aware to know that when meeting the parents it's not a good idea to open up with, "Yeah, I nearly got him killed, but we're cool now.")

◊ Desmond: He's another for team charmer, but also they've seen all the things he lost, so they know he's as dorky as the rest. Desmond goes for a suave introduction, then Mrs. Maitsu takes one look at his shark tooth earring and goes, "Oh, you're Mr. Shark!" (Damon's been collecting all of Desmond's shark-themed trinkets since he was like 8 without knowing his name, so they've been calling Desmond that this whole time. Damon almost dies for the third time from pure embarrassment) There's admittedly a little nervous about his marksman talent but believe his consolations about only shooting stationary targets.

◊ Jett: Definitely the one that's most verbally nervous about meeting the parents, partially out of self-consciousness but mostly because they would obviously be more wary about the shared-pain soulmate. Give the Maitsu's more credit though; they stay cordial and are a bit more understanding when they find out what he does (because it would honestly be kinda worse to them if he was just that clumsy with hurting himself). And clearly he's being more careful both since the accident and since meeting Damon, so they let it go for now (it definitely comes up again if/when Jett's ready to go back on the track tho). Once he gets the memo that they don't hate him, Jett's giving them some nicknames by the time everyone leaves if he's not straight-up calling them "Ma and Pa" or something similar.

◊ Ulysses: Another soulmate they have prior context on. He knows just as much about them as they do about him from everything Damon's said over the years. He's asking about Damon's past from before their soulmark appeared out of genuine interest, and Damon is desperately trying and failing to change the subject before his parents embarrass him in front of everyone (they put him in the cutest little onesies as a baby, we all know it)

◊ Kai: A bit more casual with introductions (if Damon didn't recognize him, what are the chances of his parents knowing him?). Tells them about their soulmark and is about to describe what his is when Damon stomps his foot from underneath the table. Imagine meeting all these intelligent and disciplined people and then there's the influencer lol. Definitely more of a "Well, if he makes you happy" type of reaction (tho they do end up liking Kai as a person).

◊ Cassidy: They'd have less of an idea about her since they only had a name to go off on and probably aren't online much socially. While they'd likely see gaming in similar fashion to influencing, the fact that she makes bank even while donating most of it to charity definitely helps matters. I think she pulls off her introduction fairly well, if maybe a little too much energy and casualness.

◊ Mark: Tries to keep to a script of polite introductions, then stand in a corner until it's over. Mrs. Maitsu takes one look at this sad wet cat in a cardboard box and is immediately offering him snacks before he even says anything. He is so awkward that it circles back around to being endearing.

◊ Wolfgang: Much like Eva, is perfectly collected on the outside while freaking out internally. Definitely has the best impression from the parents (because lawyer, of course). Is very sweet about trying to offer to help with cooking or cleaning, but everyone quickly distracts him every time he's about to ask. He'd also ask for Damon childhood stories.

+ Some small bonuses from the soulmate-in-laws:

◊ Eloise: is definitely confused as to how Damon ended up like that with such nice parents (accidentally says "ew" when they ask if she's also Damon's soulmate please let the ground swallow her now)

◊ Jean: They're pleasantly surprised that he's actually well put together and just likes dressing that way. He tells them about all the times he traveled to Japan as a captain

◊ Wenona: helped them (and other concerned family/associates of the group) get over there so fast. fairly polite if distant with them

◊ Grace: manages to refrain from swearing for the evening on Wolfgang's request, but also threatens to tattle to them about Damon's jackassery if he still hasn't apologized to her yet (that gets him bowing down quick lol)

Kisame x Reader (this was posted on my Wattpad years ago)

Looking at the beautiful red to blue gradient hue in the horizon Y/n Uchiha couldn't ask for a better scenery. She finally understood why Kisame loves the ocean so much.

The cerulean blue waves of the sea ripples with grace and beauty. Y/n looked at the scene one last time before closing her eyes for good.

Sasuke finally achieved his revenge from Itachi and Y/n.

Itachi and Y/n were twins and both were fully committed to the Konohagakure and both are seeking eternal peace. Before that sacrifices must be made, which was to cleanse the Uchiha clan. The twins love for thier brother Sasuke was strong enough to disobey the direct orders. They spared his life.

It was difficult to kill anyone, especially if those people are your family.

Sasuke stood beside Y/n semi unconscious body, her charcoal black eyes were slowly closing.

"Find the right path Sasuke." were her last words and she took her last breath.

Y/n Uchiha was now dead along with Itachi. Sasuke had killed his siblings.

The younger Uchiha was baffled by the twins actions.

He placed Y/n beside Itachi. They may have been twins but they have completely different personalities.

Itachi was always calm in every circumstance, he was quiet and always  mysterious. Y/n on the other hand was loud, funny, and easy to read. They are polar opposites but they shared the same passion which was peace and their love for Sasuke.

The battle ended and the twins were defeated they still died smiling. Sasuke looked at them, and tears started to accumulate in his obsidian orbs.

Sasuke may have won the battle but he was still alone, nothing changed. The twins death didnt feel justified. Sasuke finally let his emotion wash over him. 

He cried.

Its been weeks since the death of Itachi and Y/n. Sasuke learned the truth behind the twins actions. The remaining Uchiha cannot understand why the twins loved Konoha so much. For the sake of revenge Sasuke wants to destroy Konoha for making the twins endure such horrific pain.

Team Taka were gathering up information in the outskirts of Sunagakure. Suigetsu complained about how hot it was and how tired he is. Karin agreed with for once. Sasuke complied they stopped at a dango shop.

Jugo entered first followed my Suigetsu,Karin and Sasuke.

The owner welcomed the guests amd immediately asked what they want. Karin ordered a traditional dango and water, Suigetsu wanted mochi and bubble tea, Jugo wanted the same as Suigetsu and Sasuke ordered Tea.

While ordering the owner took a good look at Sasuke. "I must say, you look like one of my regulars. Its very unusual for them not to be here. Especially the girl, she was happy and loud the opposite of her brother. I think. I'm not sure if he's her brother." Sasuke looked at the owner wide eye and in awe.

'Nii-san and Nee-chan was here.' those words kept repeating in Sasuke's mind. He wanted to know more about the twins. "Do you know them? I mean the people you were talking about what were they like?" His voice was slightly high pitched and it caught Jugo's attention. He looked at Sasuke.

"Oh, I knew it! You're related to them right. The girl y-y-?" the owner was having troubles remembering Y/n's name. Sasuke answered it for her. "Yes yes Y/n she was such a lovely lady and the guy that looks like her Itama? No that doesnt sound right Itaki?" Sasuke corrected her again. "Itachi yeah him too. He always order traditional dangos. The blue shark man was always with them too. Why do you ask?" the owner had her hair grey in a bun and she was small and petite. Its surprising that she can still manage to run the business.

Yuzu, the owner looks at Sasuke waiting for his answer. "Thats not important." Yuzu started to walk to thE kitchen to get theIr orders but Sasuke stopped her. "I want to know more. I need to."

"If you insist...?

"Sasuke my name is Sasuke."

"If you insist Sasuke. I will tell you everything i know about Y/n and Itachi. But it comes with a price. You up for a little deal?" she smirked at him.

Sasuke was thinking that Yuzu is too old to be one of his fangirl. Shiver run down his spine. For the sake of getting to know what his siblings were like... He is up for her challenge. "Whats the price?"

"Well you just have to come here at least twice a week for 3 months." Yuzu innocently smiled at the Uchiha.

Sasuke was debating what to do. His team mates are useless as of right now. Karin and Suigetsu are bickering and Jugo are trying to shut them up. Taking a deep breath he agreed. Yuzu was pretty ecstatic she ran to the kitchen to get what they ordered.

After eating she cleaned the table for them and Sasuke wanted everything she knew about the Uchiha twins.

It was getting too personal for Sasuke so he sent Karin,Suigetsu and Jugo to find a place to stay and to gather informations in other establishments. They all followed what Sasuke said. Now that he is alone with Yuzu hes ready to know who Y/n and Itachi really was.

Yuzu started to speak. "Well Itachi and Y/n first came here it was I think 8 years ago."

The same time when they 'cleansed' the clan Sasuke thought.

Flashback

Y/n entered the dango shop followed by Itachi, Yuzu welcomed them. The twins acknowledged her presence. Itachi took the seat close to the exit and Y/n sat beside him, they were both silent. The twins looked sad and awful, their charcoal orbs were sunken and they look pale and shocked. Yuzu asked them what's wrong.

"What's wrong?" Y/n looked at the owner, she couldn't speak. Instead she just look at her with such emotion in her eyes that made Yuzu understand not to ask them that question. "Well what do you want to order?" She tried to change the subject.

"Traditional dango and tea for me" itachi looked at his twin sister. Y/n looked at him tears started to accumulate on her obsidian orbs and she unconsciously activated her mangekyo sharingan. Itachi hugged her, he didn't let go. He knows how sensitive she is. He can't fall apart. "Make that 2 dango and 2 teas please and thank you. Also can you give us a moment Yuzu-San." Yuzu went to the kitchen to let the twins talk.

"Sasuke was so young. He was so young Itachi.. I don't know if we made the right decisions. Our younger brother is all alone. I just.. I can't . ..I don't...." Itachi rubbed her back. She sniffs and wiped her tear stained cheeks. Itachi let go. Y/n looked at her older twin.

"It was for the best, I feel like shit too. Sasuke will understand." Y/n just nodded.

Traditional dangos and green tea came to the twins table. They thanked Yuzu for the food and dig in.

After eating the twins paid for the food and bid Yuzu a goodbye.

Months had passed and they came back to Yuzu's dango shop, this time Kisame, Pain, Konan, Hidan, Kakuzu, Deidara and Sasori came with them. The owner were happy to see Itachi and Y/n and she was even more ecstatic to have the Akatsuki in her shop.

"You know Y/n question your relation to Itachi-San. You 2 are very different, are you sure your twins ?" Kisame asked. Y/n elbowed him, she chuckled at his question. Itachi sat beside Y/n and she sat beside Kisame.

Itachi is a very over protective brother, he knew that Kisame was just playing but he can still understand his underlying motive. Kisame wanted Y/n to smile at least and he also has a tiny crush on the last Uchiha girl.

"Of course I'm his twin look at us! We look the same!" Y/n said and Itachi nodded.

"I can't see the resemblance." Deidara comment quietly, thinking that no one heard him, Itachi and Y/n glared at the artist with their sharingan activated. Deidara quickly ran on the corner crouching and mumbling how scary the twins can be.

Everyone in the Akatsuki laughed at the Bomb artist. They ordered a lot of refreshments from Yuzu and after Kakuzu was having a hard time paying.

Kakuzu was internally debating whether he should pay or destroy the shop. Y/n was there to help Kakuzu loosen up.....more like she beat him up for the money.

The akatsuki then left the shop and thanked Yuzu once again. Kisame and Y/n were walking beside with each other and occasionally their hands would touched and both parties would blush. Itachi can see his partner and Y/n develop feelings with each other but he can't really do anything. All Itachi wanted is the bring the happy, enthusiastic, and loving Y/n back. He was sure that Kisame can make it happen.

Yuzu needed to stop her story, more costumers came in her shop. She needed to accommodate them first. Sasuke let her. He needed to process what she had told him.

Niisan and Neechan....

Why do they have to suffer for Konoha, we could've live normally!

Damn Konoha!

Those were some of the screaming thoughts Sasuke was having. He wanted to destroy Konoha for making Itachi and Y/n suffer.

They are going to pay for this.

The Uchiha gripped the table tightly breaking it in the process. Yuzu came back to tell him the rest of the story.

Flashback

After the Akatsuki left, Y/n and Kisame went back to Yuzu's shop together a month later. Just them. Itachi had a mission, it was Kisames and Y/n's day off. Y/n wanted Yuzus dango and Kisame was just tagging along.

"Welcome back Y/n-chan, Kisame-kun." Yuzu said as she was cleaning the tables with a piece of cloth.

"We're back for more dangos Obasan!" Y/n took her usual spot and Kisame sat infront of her.

"The usual?"

"Yes please. What do you want to have Kisame-san?"

"I'll just get whatever you're having Y/n. Also just call me Kisame." Kisame smiled revealing his pointy set of teeth. Y/n doesn't find Kisame scary. He was a gentleman, his blue skin colour was unique, his pointy teeth are one of a kind and he's very bazaar and that's what's makes Y/n attracted to him.

Wait.. I'm attracted to him..!? Y/n thought. She looked Kisame in the eye, the moment their eyes connected she immediately looked away. Her face was getting hot and she knows she's blushing. She just played it off.

Yuzu went to the kitchen to get their orders. Kisame was looking at Y/n's delicate face. He can't deny his feelings for the Uchiha. She alone made him feel like human. Because of his fish like features, people are scared of him, but Y/n was different. But he doesn't think that Y/n feels the same.

'Tell her your feelings sharkman.' His inner voice shouted at him. 'If you don't then someone might steal her away from you! What if she doesn't feel the same? You just have to try.' Kisame was talking to himself inside his mind. It was really hard to say his feeling for her. 'It's now or never shark boy.'

"Y/-" he was abruptly stopped my Yuzu who had the refreshments ready, she place the plate and tea in the middle of the table. And she walked away to let the two have privacy.

"What were you going to say Kisame?" Y/n said while chomping her dango.

"N-nothing." Kisame tried to grab a dango from the plate but y/n hand was in the way. He's cheeks were deep blue. Her cheeks was slightly pink.

"I'm sorry...." they both said and looked away.

They finished the food and bid Yuzu a goodbye once again.

While walking back to the base Kisame was walking slower than usual, Y/n asked him whats bothering him.

"I j-just wanted t-to tell you something..." by this time the sharkman was overwhelmed with his feelings. He cant really create proper sentences. "Dammit!! I just wanted to tell you that I fucking love you. I love you Y/n Uchiha!!"

Y/n pinched herself to make sure she isn't hearing things or being delusional. Her mouth was open and she started to cry.

Kisame didnt know what do it. "I totally get it if you don't feel the same. Its totally one sided. I'm sorry for making you cry." Y/n cried even louder. Kisame was freaking out at this point, he hugged her. He didn't know why he did it, he just followed his instinct.

It seems that Y/n is calming down.

"Kisame" she whispered his name.

"Y-yes?"

"You're mine."

Kisame was shocked at what Y/n said. If all this was a dream he would never want to wake up.

"I love you too Kisa." she held him tighter. That's when Kisame realize it wasn't all a dream.

He's so happy that he could die. Even Samehada smiled and chuckled at the 2 love birds or love fish.

Years had passed and Yuzu's shop became the Akatsuki's usual hangout spot.

Kisame and Y/n's relationship was accepted by Itachi and the rest of the group. It even got to a point when Y/n got pregnant.

"Whattttt?!!?!?!?!??!" Sasuke yelled his lungs out at Yuzu.

The older lady looked at Sasuke, she covered her ears with her tiny frail hands.

"Yeah she was pregnant."

"Where the baby??!" Sasuke obnoxiously asked the lady.

"I dont know. Its been 4 months since I last saw them. She probably had the baby like 3 months ago."

Sasuke was pacing what to do. "I've heard enough as for the price can i just pay you 10,000 ryo instead?"

"Money works too!" Yuzu's eye became money sign.

Sasuke took his wallet out to pay Yuzu for the valuable information she had given him.

"Thank you Yuzu, until next time" Sasuke left her shop.

Everything Yuzu had told Sasuke was something that he would treasure forever.

He learned that he has a niece or nephew. He learned that he isn't alone anymore. He learned that Y/n and Itachi lived their life to the fullest. 

He learned that people can change.

He is off to find the other Uchiha along with his team.

This time Sasuke would make sure that Y/n's child will receive all the love his sister wanted him to feel.

mochi!!!!!!! i must know your thoughts on jean and porco if they have any tattoos 🫣🫣

okay I had to think about this for a bit!  starting with porco, he reminds me of a guy I went to high school with, therefore he’d have ‘GALLIARD’ tattooed along the side of his body. Since he goes by his surname more often, he seems to take pride in his family name. From ribcage down to the side of his torso— super bold, fancy font, when he’s shirtless, there’s no missing that tattoo. I also see him with a couple patchwork tattoos along his forearm, maybe a few on his chest too! Nothing of big significance, like a small compass or a skull. Alternatively, he would look good with a half-sleeve starting from his shoulder. An animal of some sorts like a lion (his titan reminds me of one), maybe even some kind of bird, a shark lol (again another reference to his titan—jaw). Or some kind of geometric design that’s cohesive all around his upper arm.  now jean…ive seen art of him with tattoos, and I like it!! However, I have the hardest time seeing him with many if any tbh. I think he’s mostly indifferent to the idea of tattoos on himself, as in it’s not something he really thinks about. But if he ever did bite the bullet, it would be for sentimental reasons. Like he will get matching tattoos with Connie, Sasha, and Marco as a group even if it’s something as innocuous as a smiley face. Or in canon, post-Rumbling, he and Connie would get matching Scout tattoos, something to symbolize their brotherhood. He cherishes the bonds he’s made and is willing to commemorate that with and for the ones he loves.  And because he’s sappy (me too), he WOULD be the guy to get a tattoo on his ring finger. Whether it’s his s/o’s name or the wedding date, he’ll proudly get his finger inked, maybe even before he married his s/o. this was fun to ponder about!! thank you for the ask, bb!! <3

1: As in food flavors? For Amaya, it’d be sweet but not super sweet, like green tea mochi (the mildness of the tea flavor + the slight creamy sweetness of ice cream). Virgil’s I think is like straight up ice. Cold and crunchy. Tārā’s world probably be best described as bittersweet. Like coffee flavored ice cream. Cody’s is like. Y’know when you buy store brand saltine crackers and you put it upside down in your mouth and it’s so salty you start coughing and your tongue is dry for hours. Not necessarily that Cody is a salty person but that best describes the weird combination of pleasant quietness and abrasiveness he has going on. Rina’s is coffee (hot and bitter), Antonio’s is salted caramel (sweet + salty), and Lori’s is like if you were to try to eat a cassette tape. Just a strange experience all around, but not necessarily unpleasant because you totally signed up for it.

2: When Rian was 11-12, his family dog ran away and they never found him. He didn’t learn until years later that the dog had been poisoned, but that was like, his best friend. Part of the reason he’s so doglike now is because part of that provided him comfort after his dog “ran away”- representing someone he had loved through himself.

Antonio’s first lost tooth happened when his mom, lover of animals that she was, swerved in the road to avoid hitting a deer and it happened so fast he hit his face against the window and it knocked out a loose tooth. His mom thought it was hilarious. She was not a very careful person.

3: Assuming this means the basic alchemical elements:

Fire- Amaya (passionate, intense, generally fiery, destroys and hurts with good intentions, associated with gunfire and bombs due to familial trauma and her fear of disaster), Rina (hard to control, intense, passionate, everything she comes in contact with ends up destroyed)

Earth- Tārā (occultist and witch which involves a lot of the natural world, has a whole thing about rot and dirt), Lori (grounded/down to earth, has a different thing about rot and dirt unrelated to Tārā’s thing), The Monster of Salem (rot, dirt, decay, bugs and worms, the earth is trying to reclaim the flesh it puppets and it will not go down), Jane Doe (found in the woods, and also some other stuff I can’t get into), Cody (vibes), Antonio (they like plants + snake motif)

Somewhere Near the Akatsuki Hideout – Training Ravine

Kisame Hoshigaki stood in ankle-deep water, Samehada slung across his back like a great slumbering beast. His gills flared slightly in irritation.

“She took it,” he growled, fists clenched.

Deidara, sitting nearby with his arms wrapped around his knees, nodded solemnly. “She took a lot of things. Dignity. Time. Hidan’s left sock.”

“She didn't take it. She consumed it,” Tobi added, poking the ground nervously. “Like... it’s somewhere in those cursed sleeves now…”

Kisame snarled, baring rows of sharklike teeth. “Samehada doesn’t let just anyone touch it. That girl isn’t even human.”

“She’s not,” Konan said, appearing from thin air, arms crossed. “And she doesn’t play by chakra rules.”

Kisame turned toward her. “Where is she?”

Konan simply pointed.

Akatsuki Hideout – Pudding Room, Now Guarded by Literal Snack Golems

Yuka’s door was slightly ajar. Two golems made entirely of hardened caramel and pocky sticks stood guard, twitching menacingly.

Kisame didn’t flinch. He cracked his knuckles, kicked the door open, and stormed inside.

The room was exactly as described: absurd. Reality-defying. Floating islands made of jelly. Drawers opening into voids where gravity didn’t matter. The walls undulated softly like pudding breathing in a dream.

There, on a throne made of salted rice cakes and melted mochi, sat Yuka Hinode, legs kicking lazily, sleeves filled and twitching.

Samehada lay on the floor beside her, silent. Calm. Content.

Kisame’s stomach dropped.

“…You fed it snacks?”

“I fed it love,” Yuka said sweetly, petting the sword like it was a puppy.

Samehada practically purred.

Kisame stepped forward. “Give it back.”

“No,” Yuka replied without looking at him.

“I wasn’t asking.”

Her cloudy grey eyes met his—calm, eerily ancient. “You were.”

She waved a sleeve.

Suddenly, the floor beneath Kisame twisted, bending into a spiral of glowing cracker runes. He fell—not down, but sideways—into a shifting tunnel of spiraling gingerbread, his reality folding like taffy.

When he landed, he was chest-deep in… snack pudding.

His legs didn’t move.

His sword floated above him, just out of reach.

“I call this place the Snackrifice Pit,” Yuka's voice echoed from everywhere.

“Samehada!” Kisame yelled, struggling.

The blade twitched, uncertain. Then glowed faintly… and drifted back to Yuka’s lap.

Kisame was silent for a beat.

“…Okay. What do you want?”

She leaned forward, her sleeves crackling. “You fishy. So you swim good, right?”

“I’m literally part shark.”

She smiled. “Good. Build me a pudding moat around this room. Fifty laps a day. Call it... divine security.”

Kisame opened his mouth to protest, but Yuka was already holding up a tiny sign that read:

“COMPLY OR I SHOW EVERYONE WHAT SAMEHADA LOOKED LIKE AS A BABY.”

He grunted, slowly sinking deeper into pudding. “…Fine.”

Later That Night

The Akatsuki sat in silence at the dinner table. Tobi, bandaged and trembling. Deidara staring at nothing. Konan sipping tea with deadly precision. Pein pinching the bridge of his nose.

From somewhere far down the hall came the echo of splashing, and a tired, growling voice counting laps.

“…forty-two… forty-three…”

At the center of it all, perched upside down on the chandelier, Yuka munched slowly on candied squid.

“I like it here,” she whispered to no one.
