For anyone who isn't following the power struggle to be the heir of Disco Elysium...

We currently have three announced games (Project C4 [title pending], Hopetown, and XXX NIGHTSHIFT) that DEFINITELY aren't just Disco Elysium again with the serial numbers filed off and female protagonists (can't believe Disco Elysium is woke now, smh).

Speaking of protagonists, Darkmath Games just released a four page writeup on the protagonist of XXX NIGHTSHIFT and there's a ~100 word paragraph dedicated entirely to how hot she (and, by extension, her mother?) is underneath a header adorning every page featuring her in what appears to be underwear. (So it's not woke then? Is that how that works?)

Like they lampshade it on the fourth page but even still it's a ChoiceTM. So in other words game dev is going GREAT. Anyone ready to pay $60 for it? Or splurge for the $90 DELUXE edition?

So after reading the Post about Jopsons Flogging by @handfuloftime I went down a research rabbit hole because I wanted to see if their exist sufficient & specific enough Data to accuratly compare his punishment and put it in the historical context.

I found this Website, which features the two tables from the Parlamentary Papers and their Source.

(Note: The tables on the website are incomplete and inaccurate in certain places. I compared it from top to bottom to the original source and corrected/added the informations in my table.)

I used that as a basis for my own table, where I also added Averages and Sliders so people can search the Informations!

(Apparently Sliders don't work on Mobil, and I don't know enough about Google Sheets how to fix it :/

If anyone knows or if you find a some kind mistake please let me know.)

This week I visited the University Libary, which has access to the Parlamentary Papers Online, to see if such tables also exist for earlier years but sadly 1845 was the first year where they went into such Specifics.

(I hope to add some of the Years after 1846 to the table, when I can.)

After a whole weekend of studying I can say this isn't going to be an easy semester. Instrumental analysis (a mandatory class) is pretty demanding itself and I also have these three physicochemical electives. I'm not exactly complaining - this intersection of chemistry and physics is an extremely interesting place to explore! - but boy is it hard. On top of that, I agreed to tutor my godmother's daughter (her math teacher is an asshole and the poor girl is Struggling™️) bc clearly I am insane like a good challenge. Where I am going to squeeze in thesis work is a mystery to me as well

Things in Lu on Twilight's age:

Key phrases- Twilight is grouped in the 'Adult+' category along with the hero of Time and Warriors. Twilight is OLDER than Sky due to being portrayed as more mature in his games. Jojo said Twilight is among the unofficial leaders in the group which she based on age, maturity, experience, etc it's in the photo above.

She has also said that the Link's heights affect age, taller generally meaning older. Twilight is among the tallest (they're all so short dhdbdifnjd) and I did not compare Twilight with Wars- but those two are very close in height. There are obviously exceptions with the heights&age ratio being inconsistent (Hero of the Four Sword is shortest yet Wind is stated to be the youngest. And the Hero of Legend has a slouch.)
