I don't hate you but I don't think we should interact anymore.

I am a fan of the trilogy book series. that's what interests me and drew me to this fandom, and it's the very thing that became so beloved & popular that it spurred a movie franchise and 2 prequels. I don't have to blindly adopt whatever new canon is introduced after the fact, over a decade later. I believe anything extra like the movies or the prequels are fair game to be ignored or cherry-picked or adopted whole-heartedly*, if that's what someone wants to do! this is all for fun.

*my thing is, there's contradictions within all of those. is Effie imprisoned in the Capitol during the war like in the trilogy, or is she in D13 helping the rebels like in the movies? do Effie and Haymitch kiss right in front of Katniss when they leave the Capitol, like Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson wanted to do in the last movie, or do they not at all do this, like in the book? does Haymitch think Effie is ridiculous & complicit in the Hunger Games, or does he think that *and* still want to flirt with her, or does he love only Lenore Dove forever & ever? does Peeta lose his leg or doesn't he? is the Seam olive-skinned, or is it not? I could go on.

so with that being said, I am not changing how I interact with the trilogy books on the whim of an author whose new work I don't like as much or find consistent with the trilogy aka the thing I do like 🤷🏻‍♀️ just because SC adds more to the world doesn't mean it's been the plan all along, either, where we're all supposed to just oblige and gut our stories or headcanons or what have you. even if the prequels had been her plan all along when she wrote the trilogy (and there's evidence to suggest they were not, particularly SOTR), I still don't think anyone would have to do that. and tbh I've been there, I've aged out of some choices or ideas I had when I first started writing fic in middle school. I've nitpicked and rewritten things well after its posting bc it was bothering me or my plan changed. it happens. but I am an amateur who is not making money off this; SC is a professional, and her work is not above criticism. I simply do not have to adopt it if I don't want to. and I won't adopt hardly anything from SOTR bc I think it sucks, as sad as that makes me.

I started posting SOO in 2013. it was actually interesting to me how little we see Haymitch and Hazelle interact even tho she works for him - that's exactly why I began to look at them with a degree of curiosity. I spoke more on this here. I am not the only one (or even the first iirc?) who has presented that maybe there's a shared history between them. it's at least within the realm of possibility, from what we have in the book trilogy. and in looking at them as characters in their own right, as I understand them (from the trilogy, again, given Hazelle doesn't exist anywhere else and trilogy!Haymitch is the OG Haymitch to me, the character that's stayed with me most thru the years), I personally think they could be good for each other after the war. so I am writing about that. and people can choose to engage if they want to. I have never claimed this was a sure thing that everyone should believe. literally just out here having fun with it, for myself and those interested.

SUMMARY: Luigi has a bad dream about you leaving him for one of his friends, you wake him after hearing him crying beside you and he tells you what happened. You reassure him that you'll never leave and cuddle him close.

Sleep at night was always rough for Luigi, not by his own choice. 

You’d notice his jitters and quick breaths as he tried to find comfort in the mattress beneath you both. Tonight seemed nicer than most, he finally got to rest, his long lashes extended from his closed eyelids and his breaths were calm – he looked so peaceful. You’d gone out to hang out with a group of mutual friends that day, everything was genuinely a lot of fun, Luigi enjoyed himself – so did you.

Well, you thought he did.

For Luigi, he was pretty insecure about one of his friends, specifically this one. Martin was a smooth guy, so cheerful, interactive and overall just an outgoing person. Sure, Luigi liked going out, exploring, socializing, but sometimes keeping up was more difficult than he led on.

He knew his back pains were inconvenient for you, he couldn’t do all the things you wished to and it really annoyed him – especially knowing how open Martin was about doing the same things you dreamt of doing with Luigi. Sometimes it was painfully obvious how he moved in on you, but you were a little oblivious to it; (and so deeply in love with Luigi.)

Luigi struggled to see the love some days.

Today was that day.

So vividly he dreamed, seeing those broad shoulders, his friend’s stronger build and those arms wrapped around you. He could see the genuine joy in your eyes as you looked at him. “I’m sorry Lu, I just don’t think we’re right for each other.” You said so sweetly despite the knives in each word.

Even if it was a dream; his mind did a damn good job of making it seem like real life – he hated that he couldn’t distinguish reality from a dream and it was bothering him terribly. “I just think we’re both better off this way…” You would never say that, right?

“No, no, you love me.” He says – barely above a regular whisper. Your head tilts, you give him the most heartbreaking yet loving smile he’s ever seen. “I do love you, I really do, Lu,” That voice broke him in a million pieces, he could feel his tear ducts swell with tears that fought hard to stream down his freckled-cheeks. “but I think I want to try something else.” 

He watched you, he didn’t know what truly happened after the fact, because you walked away, down the street; and like some cliché film - rain fell down, soaking his hair and mixing with his tears. 

You heard sniffles, shivering as though someone were crying. It was a few minutes of listening before you realized it was Luigi who was crying in bed beside you. Slowly, you reach over and flick on a lamp, then turn over in bed and gently shake his shoulder.

“Lu?” You whisper. He shifted ever so slightly,

“Luigi.” you repeated. He let out a soft groan, coming to, finding he wasn’t being abandoned by you, he was in the dim-lit room and accompanied by you. “Y/N…” He murmurs, rolling over to huddle up against you, it caught you off guard how clingy he suddenly was. 

“What’s wrong?”

He was so, so very embarrassed. He didn’t want to tell you that he was insecure – he didn’t want to admit he was so attached to you that something as dumb as a dream made him sob like a big baby. You take his head in your arms and gaze over his swollen eyes, “You can tell me anything, honey.” You say softly to him, brushing your fingers through his faintly tangled curls. 

“I had a dream,” he started, trying to catch his breath. “That you left me for someone else.”

You frown, it was a ridiculous thought on its own because you would never leave him. Definitely not for someone else either. “Luigi,” you hum, kissing his forehead softly. He lays his head on your chest and sniffles again. “It’s okay sweetheart, you know I would never leave you, right? Nothing and no one would ever make me even think about breaking up with you. You’re everything to me.”

He smiled weakly, looking up at you. You very carefully used your thumbs to wipe his cheeks of tears, then cup his face and trace over his stubble. “I love you so much, Luigi.” You say before planting a kiss on his pouty lips. He melts and kisses you back, his smile curving up more. 

“I’m sorry if I woke you up.” He murmurs.

“You didn't, baby.”

“It was so real, it scared me.”

You lean back on the pillows and bring him with you, holding him close. He nuzzles against your breast and exhales out all of his worries. “I’ve got you, Lu. I’m not going anywhere. You’re stuck with me.”

He opens an eye to look back at you. For a bit you lay in silence, cradling the taller male. He’s all cozied up beside you. Your eyes had fallen shut, in hopes sleep would be easier for the two of you tonight.

Then his voice softly perked up. “I need you more than life, amore mio.” He says quietly. "Seriously, I don't think I could live without you. I think if I ever lost you I'd just die." You shake your head and hold him closer, still cuddled close. "Good thing you're never losing me."

“You know what would make me feel better?” He asks.

"What is it?"

He leans up and crawls over your body, his smirk becoming a grin. "If you could remind me how much you love me." He states suggestively. 

“Oh Lu, you’re such a little shit.” You chuckle. "You know I love you, I tell you all the time."

He kisses you, cupping your smaller face in his large palm. “Yeah, I know.” He says as he kisses along your cheek, up to the base of your neck, and he softly bites your earlobe. “I just wanna make sure no one ever makes you feel the way I do.”

“Nobody can, my dear." You state, he got a little more confident in kissing down to your collarbones, placing a big kiss right in the middle of them. 

“So you won’t be leaving me?”

“No. God, no. Never.”

Luigi smiles, “Promise me, and sign the contract.” He says, gesturing to his lips.

“Seriously? This again?” He was obsessed with some movie on Netflix called Hit Man, you introduced him to it. In the film, he had her under the impression he was a hitman, and for their relationship to work out they had to keep it under the radar, she would tell him to sign the contract by kissing her lips.

“C’mon, I liked that movie.”

“Fair enough,” you say, kissing him to “seal the deal.”

He liked the ending the most.

“Anywhere else I need to sign?” 

“Maybe....If you don't mind,” Luigi smirks, “you’ll just have to get on your knees f’me.”

You clock it right away, that smug little upturn of his mouth when you whip around from the sink, dish towel in hand like it’s a weapon, eyes narrowed.

“Kenan.”

“Hmm?” He’s leaning on the counter, all casual, like he didn’t just move your phone from where you left it charging ten seconds ago. “Something wrong?”

“Where is it.”

“Where’s what?” he asks, feigning innocence. His voice is light, like he’s genuinely curious. Like he doesn’t already have the damn thing tucked into the pocket of his hoodie, which you can see because the screen lights up through the fabric when you get a notification.

You point to his pocket. “You’re ridiculous.”

“And you’re adorable,” he says, beaming now. Full teeth. That perfect hair slightly flopping into his eyes because he still hasn’t bothered with a haircut this month. “Especially when you get all dramatic like this.”

“I am not dramatic,” you snap, crossing your arms.

Kenan raises his brows and leans closer, chin in his hand like he’s examining a painting. “You literally stomped over here like a cartoon character.”

Your face heats up.

You want to smack him.

You also kind of want to kiss him.

“You think this is funny?”

“Oh, I know it’s funny.”

You shoot him a glare, and he grins like it’s his life’s purpose to provoke you. And maybe it is, at this point. You’d complain, but the way he looks at you, like teasing you is the most sacred ritual in the world, makes it hard to stay mad.

Still, you try.

“You’re such a child.”

“Yup.”

“You need hobbies,” you grumble, turning your back to him as you snatch your phone off the counter.

Kenan shrugs, all lazy confidence. “I have one.”

“Let me guess. Making my life difficult?”

“Nope. Studying the very complex psychology of a woman who organizes her spice rack alphabetically but keeps her laundry in ‘the chair’ for a week.”

You whip around. “What were you doing in my spice cabinet?”

“I was looking for cinnamon. Which, by the way, is between cardamom and clove, like a maniac.”

You huff. “There’s logic to it.”

“There’s chaos to it.”

“You’re the one who keeps butter in the fridge. That’s the real red flag.”

He sniggers. “Low blow.”

“Truth hurts.”

Kenan laughs, stepping closer, and you already know you’ve lost this battle. Not because you’re wrong, but because he’s looking at you with that expression again. The one that says he thinks you're the most entertaining person alive.

“You know what I love most?” he says.

“If you say me, I swear-”

“How passionate you get over the dumbest stuff. Like condiments. Or sock drawer organization. It’s beautiful.”

You glare. “You’re unbelievable.”

“And you’re easy to mess with. And that,” he says, poking your side, “is the best kind of fun.”

“I hate you.”

“You love me.”

He says it so easily, like it’s just a fact of life. Like gravity. And it is, kind of. You do love him. Unfortunately. Inconveniently. Deeply. Even when he’s being an absolute menace shirtless and in sweats, walking around your apartment like he pays rent. (He doesn’t. He just shows up. Constantly.)

“You’re lucky you’re cute,” you mutter.

He leans in again, way too close, that mischievous glint back in his eyes. “Oh? You think I’m cute?”

“I think you’re annoying,” you counter, but it doesn’t come out nearly as harsh as you want it to.

Kenan tilts his head. “But, like, attractive annoying?”

“I’m going to throw you off the balcony.”

“You’d miss me.”

You hate how right he is. Hate how easy it is for him to unravel your defenses. He doesn’t even have to try. All it takes is a stupid grin, or the way he tugs you into him absentmindedly when you pass by the couch, or how he always steals your socks and wears them mismatched like it’s fashion.

You try to storm away, dramatic, sure, but it’s your signature move at this point. He grabs your wrist gently before you can get more than two steps.

“Wait.”

You turn halfway, skeptical. “What?”

Kenan reaches into his pocket and pulls out your phone. He places it in your hand solemnly, like it’s an olive branch.

“Peace offering.”

You narrow your eyes. “That’s literally mine. That’s not a gift.”

“Fine.” He reaches into his other pocket and pulls out a little wrapped chocolate. “This is the gift.”

You stare. “Where did you even get that?”

He shrugs. “You had a bowl of them on your desk.”

“You raided my chocolate stash?”

“For good cause,” he insists, stepping in closer. “I like seeing you mad. You get all flushed and pouty. It’s cute. Like, unbelievably cute. Makes me wanna poke at you just to keep it going.”

Your heart does a stupid little flip. You hate how effortlessly he throws that kind of thing out there. But you also kind of live for it.

“You’re such a brat,” you say, accepting the chocolate anyway.

Kenan leans in to kiss your temple. “Takes one to know one.”

You melt, just a little. Not that you’ll admit it.

“Go sit on the couch,” you tell him, already unwrapping the chocolate. “And if you touch my phone again, I’m locking it with my thumbprint only.”

“Worth it,” he says, already flopping dramatically onto the cushions. “You have to admit, you’re way more fun when you’re fake-mad at me.”

You toss the wrapper at him. He doesn’t dodge it.

Instead, he pulls the throw rug onto his chest and looks over at you like you’ve just handed him the world.

And maybe you have.

Because even if he’s the most annoying boy on earth, he’s your annoying boy. The one who’ll text your sister for embarrassing stories just to make you roll your eyes, the one who hides your phone to get your attention, the one who always knows when you’re actually upset versus just pretending to be.

i use tiktok mostly just to post my own edits and see my mutuals stuff now bc im sick of the fandom on there. most of them clearly watched the show with their head up their ass or smth because they’re manage to come up with the most simultaneously hilarious and horrible takes ever.

also because not a single one of them can take bertholdt’s character seriously without rehashing the exact same name jokes i’ve heard since i joined the fandom in 2021. like sure some are funny but it gets so old so quickly, and when you make a post actually going into his character and being a bit more serious the comments are just “poor [some word beginning with b]” like PLEASE SHUT UP FOR A MOMENT!!!

a) well, it depends on how you look at it. for example, hamas didn’t go through with literally one of the hostages exchange as agreed. obviously literally no one, but israel, cared and israel was expected to be the bigger man and just “let it go”, as if it didn’t matter and didn’t have real significance to its people. well… israel did consider it as a ceasefire violation each and every time and ,ofc, per usual it was frowned upon by the woke west when israel very carefully reacted to it (worried to lose the remaining hostages of phase A, not of what the west thought, even though it felt ridiculous each time to see them turn the blind eye). then phase A ended and as we all feared, they went into another “yeah ofc we want a deal” and nothing happened for a long while and both sides kept teasing each other until yep, israel officially broke the ceasefire and cut the aid. the israeli government claims that pressuring hamas with military and aid, will force them to take a deal quicker. as an israeli, i do find it extremely important to add that the renewal of the war happened during nighttime (local time) and we literally woke up to the news and were as horrified to learn it. a very large portion of israelis are against what’s happening due to how dangerous it is to our 59 hostages, many of them struggling to stay alive 556 days today. we do believe that a deal is the only way to go.

b) well, the short answer is yes. as i said, some of it is true, but just not accurate. for example, food trucks not reaching in certain parts of gaza due to hamas soldiers taking over the aid trucks once they entered the strip, there were literal videos of it. israel was still blamed for how much aid it lets in, even though it literally didn’t matter bc armed men would stand on it and shoot anyone who’d get anywhere near it. the narrative is so messed up at this point that i’m not sure if they bother trying to check for the truth. what i find amazing is that they usually think we’re uninformed or indifferent over what’s happening over the other side of the border, which is incorrect, but they simply never bother asking for our opinions.

c) idk if it’s rooted in antisemitism, but they sure use it all the time. when they use jewish rhetoric or jewish history such as the holocaust and nazis to offend us, it’s antisemitic. when they cancel jewish history and mock it, it’s antisemitic. when they cancel mizrahi, spharadi, ethiopian, shomroni & other jews by calling all jews europeans its… can you guess what? i could go on, but i guess you get my point.

i saw someone who finished acowar said they hate elain more than feyre and found her insufferable. first of all, you’re implying you don’t like feyre. okay so why read acotar? and three of the books at that? like leave, don’t do this to yourself lmao. second, elain killed the big bad in acowar. nesta and cassian would be history without her. where do you come off? show me where she was insufferable. because i can’t think of one single time she irritated me so i’m really curious to see what she did that bothered them.

another one said they reread acosf without first reading the og trilogy again and they said it’s crazy how you realize how horrible and abusive the IC is without the lingering empathy you have for them when you had just read the first three books… lingering empathy?… bro what??? anyone would seem like they’re being abusive if you take their actions out of context and don’t consider the backstory. but we have context. we have the luxury to know they weren’t being abusive but just trying to help the best way they knew how. and it was legit their last resort. surely their decision wasn’t an easy one to force nesta to the HOW (where she won’t be isolated and alone, the worst thing an addict can be), work in the library (which i thought was nice considering nesta finds comfort in books) and train (helped with her feelings of helplessness by learning how to defend herself). was it executed perfectly? no. but they were desperate and it’s hard to know how to properly deal with someone who is being extremely self-destructive if you haven’t dealt with it before. but it still got nesta to focus on things other than her bitterness and self hatred. it taught her self discipline. it led her to make genuine friends. if they hadn’t stepped in, these people’s favorite character would’ve eventually drank herself to death or gotten herself killed in some other dangerous situation. sorry but it’s the harsh truth. and the person said the IC abused nesta for acting mean and drinking when they also have acted just like her and worse. what? i know they party but i don’t recall them needlessly being cruel to their loved ones. then they said nesta should’ve burned the night court down at the end of acosf. tagged anti ic and anti everyone except azriel. i just know they’re a gwynriel or will become one just by looking at those tags.

This but w me on TikTok- every other video on there is about how horrible and disgusting people the IC are, Feyre’s the worst, Elains a manipulator - Nesta is a victim, Cass doesn’t deserve her etc etc. This is the sole reason I stay away from tiktok. I used to post on there everyday but it became so draining constantly having to see takes that just gave you headaches bcs of how ridiculous they are.

They find Elain insufferable bcs of her constant “crying” & “whining” in acowar where she was useless pining for a man who hated her. Because how dare she right? I mean, its not like the book prior to acowar - she was kidnapped, thrusted into a giant pot first not knowing what was going to happen to her - assualted and changed against her will into a foreign body and then given powers which put her into a camotose state and then she had to deal with the fact she lost everything she wanted, everything that was going to be hers including a marriage to the man she loves, a man who saw her. Nesta isolating herself, going off drinking at inns is a coping mechanism they can defend yet Elain being depressed & suicidal, being quiet and keeping to herself is apparently something they cant find the sympathy or even empathy to understand. Exactly. Do these people not realise how terrible they sound? And the thing is - Elain did SO MUCH in acowar. Stabbed Hybern, located the suriel, kicked HOUNDS of Az with her bare FEET. If any other fmc did such a thing they would be labelled a badass but Elain does not get that recognition. Also you’re literally right. If you hate the MAIN character of the series, why continue reading her books?

The IC are complex, flawed individuals. They make bad decisions but ultimately whatever they do is for the better good. Could they have handled the “rehab” situation better? Absolutely. But its done - it led to Nesta bettering herself and finding genuine friends. It literally ends off on Nesta and the IC being on good terms so exactly why should she burn the entire court to the grounds? Nesta isn’t perfect herself. She isn’t the victim in every single situation. Its done - their relationship will heal and become better. If you’re anti everything aside from one character maybe this series isn’t for you and thats ok. This is what I dont get about most Nesta stans, is they take defending Nesta so far to the point they distort every other character and scenario. Yep…like I say, its not a coincidence most elucien/gwynriel stans hate or the IC or the night court.

THIS. If I hated 90% of the characters in a series, you know what I’d do? Quit the series and leave the fandom. If I hated a direction a series is going in? Again. I’d quit the series instead of making such fanon, elaborate theories and HCs that I know will never happen. I feel like all these “critical” takes and hatred for most of the characters has led to the fandom being so insufferable and not an enjoyable experience to be in. When you look at that *side* which includes gwynriels and eluciens, its like they’ve read an entirely different series and they want such different outcomes compared to what the books have foreshadowed.

full disclosure i haven't seen the entirety of supergirl (ive literally only seen like 7 eps & its all season 1) so this list will probably change over time (bc im starting to painstakingly watch the show - imagine slowburn but watching a series) however ive watched like a ridiculous amount of supercorp edits so im going to base my choices on the parts where supercorp exist ha!

5. Season 1 - Red Faced

this would probably be the only none supercorp related yet still somehow my personal fave for a few reasons. i love this scene in particular bc it shows that cat grant cares for kara and what cat says here is very relatable. no matter how harsh cat can be at times, cat was a girl's girl here. she gave an advice which was helpful to both supergirl and kara. she had every right to rip kara viciously apart but instead she took a completely different route. i like the line she says here.

i think this was also the ep where kara acknowledged where some of the anger was coming from. even with zero dialogue and with mel's incredible acting skills she was able to convey so much emotions during that scene where she releases all her anger towards the red tornato. From losing her parents, losing her planet —her home, for losing everything and maybe even angry with her parents for the choices they made for her. it was such an incredible and very emotional scene.

Before Lance’s friends arrive at his apartment for their weekly movie night, Keith is in Hunk’s car on the phone to Lance, trying to explain why they’re late, again. Mid conversation, Keith drops his phone under the seat. Assuming Lance has hung up, Pidge and Hunk start pestering Keith about certain feelings that he may be harboring, leading to some quite personal confessions. Little do they know, Lance has not hung up, and is listening in on every word. Shenanigans ensue.

the second best part of this fic is how sweet and funny this is. this fic is blushy and silly and dorky and so so so!!! it is just fun and garrison trio my love. the BEST part of this fic is lance knowing hes hot shit

Lance didn’t know what he’d expected to see when he came onto the Garrison’s training deck, but it definitely wasn’t this. Keith was panting with exertion, pinning someone to the ground with the edge of his training sword just brushing their neck. And by someone, Lance meant Acxa, one of Lotor’s old half-Galra generals. Or, Lance walks in on Keith and Acxa sparring. He has not-so-mixed feelings about it.

usually every jealousy trope fic i read induces the PHATTEST eye roll literally of all time but this one made me laugh lol. its just such a ridiculous concept and its fun basically. also krolia lowkey being a thot is hilarious

bro lance is SUCH a goober 😭😭 he gets himself into the most embarrassing situations and there is truly no one he can blame but himself. honestly this one is such a fun read and if the explicit warning bothers you, it's not the whole fic! you can easily skip it. the rivalry and getting together is just as fun and stupid as you'd expect from them truly

i think another thing that bothers me about reducing vocaloid songs to just "trends" is it completely dismisses the work that goes into it. even if we're EXTREMELY generous and say whoever it is just sits down at their computer & can spit something decent out in little time thats dismissing the effort it took the get to that skill level & in the much more realistic scenario someones going to sit down & work out composition for months, there's an absurd amount of detail in audio balancing well, most people arent going to spit out lyrics and keep them the same as the first draft, there's even extra hours devoted to tuning ur synth(s) of choice, then more to mix the vocal in, wherein people who are really serious are going to go and adjust what theyve done previously to make everything as seamless as possible. like. its a ridiculous intense thing to do as a hobby. most producers dont have a team to split things up to its just One Person doing the whole thing. but the song doesnt match what u personally like so ur going to ignore all that effort and skill & say its garbage bc its too trendy. ur selfish and short sighted

2) I always wonder how ppl are convinced before they start watching which character they will prefer…. I assume in this case it’s bc you’ve seen me post sam scenes that broader fandom wouldn’t touch with a 10-foot pole and fell madly in love with her on the spot. as you should. I don’t have preemptive advice for coping with dean I’m afraid. he might bother you less than you think he will. if you do make it to the mid-late seasons and you do start hating him come back to me and we can process <3

3) the only good answer to “how much of the show should I watch” is It Is Up To You. personally I had no choice but to watch the whole thing bc sam ensnared me worse than I have ever been ensnared. if it weren’t for her I can promise you I wouldn’t have made it all the way through. the first two seasons are the strongest by all objective measures of quality so if you’re not enjoying them and if you’re not connecting with sam and dean by the end of s2 perhaps the show is just not for you (which is fine!) this is a show that goes through a LOT of ridiculous changes over time and its one constant is samndean so the degree to which you enjoy their early-seasons characterizations is key to whether you will enjoy watching them evolve (or devolve, if that’s how you’re looking at it. even more compelling.) I do recommend trying to make it to at least s4 however bc it features some of the most chilling horror teevee I have ever watched. if you’re looking at sam, of course.

Btw I know firsthand that Harry is actually kinda masculine but in a toxic way. Hes… a ridiculously complex person. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all an act. He is and can be gentle and kind and caring which is what made it so trippy to see for me. He actually does enjoy the sequined outfits tho that’s not an act, cuz I know ppl think that’s all an act. It’s not, but he wouldn’t go out in public in those outfits for the same reason he wears them on stage: public reaction. Which honestly, fair. I never judged for that. He actually does care a lot about ppl with less than him and he does think quite deeply about his place in the world and he tries to be humble. I think my issue with him was how he can be such a guy especially when it comes to romantic relationships. Like he always needs to be a bit better than you, or the one protecting you, or being so annoyingly overprotective. Most of us have got two or more engineering degrees, and I think that always bothered him but he wasn’t like rude about it or anything. But I could tell he didn’t like it when I corrected stupid statements he made about ai being conscious and I try not to be a know it all but bro AI is linear algebra and calculus on steroids. I then tried to teach him derivatives which turned into a huge argument. Honestly this was probably messy of me but we had heard him say this ai conscious thing like multiple times before we went crazy and started doing calculus on the whiteboard of his studio. We being me and the other engineers so this won’t give away who we are. The man nearly cried. I don’t wanna say too much honestly this is gonna give away who I am but idc no way he sees this he actually rly hates social media. One of the other engineers in the studio told me about this blog.
