➥ The process of getting over Bonnibel after the Glass Kingdom incident was excruciating.

The pain never truly went away, neither did the feelings, though Marceline would never admit that out loud. With Bonnibel, there was someone who wasn't scared or offput by her demonic and vampiric attributes, and who wasn't trying to escape her. Until they were proven wrong in that department.

That's why she had started dating Ash. He was as monstrous as they were, so he couldn't turn on them for that. As toxic and horrible as Ash was to Marceline, if he hadn't sold off Hambo, she likely would have never seen past his manipulative niceties. They also would never admit to that. She doesn't like to talk about Ash with anyone. The fact that Finn and Jake had met him was more than overwhelming for her; she couldn't imagine if Bonnibel or Simon had to ever meet him. Yikes!

I do not know who you are but that you call us 'comrade.' I ask you then: who exactly are you fighting for, because it cannot be the people under the boots of the noble.

There is a worrying trend I have seen that witnesses the violence done by the noble class, who would invoke our plight specifically, and turn that observation into an excuse to do violence to "Karrakins," who would raze the worlds of Karrakis, and Khayradin, and, yes, Bo, and see all this as a win because of what "those bastards did to Sanjak." Here I pose you the question: who did that, and is it the people who would face the brunt of your violence?

The answer is no. Even on Karrakis, not more then 5% of those who reside there are noble, for all that the Omninet would have you believe otherwise. You look at whole worlds and see them as enemies- I answered that question about the House of Dust as I did because I know that the vast majority of the people there are my allies. That is why our movement saw victory there so quickly, there simply was more of us than there are of them, and the nobility knew that they could not hold the reigns of power, so instead they denied the planet to the people who would inherit it.

Your rhetoric echoes the reasoning of those knaves, in a way that I sincerely hope means that you are merely another anonymized voice of the Hagiographs and not some so-called ally of mine, because your tactics would have won us freedom but denied us Sanjak, and so would have had us die in the void or to the volleys of the Stone fleet.

We do lack their firepower. But we have numbers, and we always know the land we fight on far better than they who would hole themselves up in resorts. This is an advantage we lose if we kill our class-siblings and raze the land. This is a tactical decision, and one you clearly do not understand.

If it is blood you crave, direct that urge correctly and specifically, and know when it is a correct impulse to indulge. Tell me what would be won by the destruction of Bo, or begone. The ex-nobles are off-planet already, and my comrades and friends are still trapped by the evacuation crisis with everyone else. Forgive me if I'm wrong, faceless "comrade," but you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

I rarely post anything, but I couldn't resist here. Death's sweetheart Victoria Neuman is a delight. It's written in a very intriguing way and just the story itself. I think I'm hyperfixed on Victoria again. It would be really interesting to read about how they grew up in red river. Or something about the college years. How Zoe came to be. Stan's reaction is very interesting. Where did this love-hate relationship come from? Did Victoria shift the blame for her parents' death onto the reader? Or did something else happen? Overall!!! Very cool au and story and can't wait for new content. I had so many different ideas and plots in my head but it came out kind of blurry tbh

It bugged him how often Angel came home looking as though he'd been dragged through the seven circles of hell and back because of that damned moth, especially now that he'd learned that Angel wasn't just masking to get what he wanted but because he felt like he had to. He growls and taks a long drink before putting the bottle back on the bar a little heaviar than intended.

Hah, lots'a kudo related asks, huh? I'd say Kudo's best trait is probably his resilience. He goes through a lot fer somebody his age. It makes you want 'ta get better and put up more of a fight. However... its also his worst trait. He just doesn't know when to call quits on things sometimes. Sure, im reckless an' all, but he may be more than i am!
