➥ The process of getting over Bonnibel after the Glass Kingdom incident was excruciating.

The pain never truly went away, neither did the feelings, though Marceline would never admit that out loud. With Bonnibel, there was someone who wasn't scared or offput by her demonic and vampiric attributes, and who wasn't trying to escape her. Until they were proven wrong in that department.

That's why she had started dating Ash. He was as monstrous as they were, so he couldn't turn on them for that. As toxic and horrible as Ash was to Marceline, if he hadn't sold off Hambo, she likely would have never seen past his manipulative niceties. They also would never admit to that. She doesn't like to talk about Ash with anyone. The fact that Finn and Jake had met him was more than overwhelming for her; she couldn't imagine if Bonnibel or Simon had to ever meet him. Yikes!

swirling the bourbon in her glass, ash glanced up at remi from across the table. the bar was seedy, but inconspicuous enough that ash wasn’t concerned about recognition. it had been a long day, a photoshoot ( ironically revolving the very vice she was trying and failing to rid herself of - alcohol ), then auditions for a movie to lend her voice.

“convenience?” an eyebrow rose. “what do you mean by that?”

confiding in remi had seemed to be easier than she had anticipated - no judgment ( beyond the occasional ribbing ). it allowed ash to speak about her dreams, her plans of where she wanted - needed - her life to go. upon meeting remi, she saw herself - a selfish, nose raised in the air, asshole that didn’t need any help or saving from anyone. perhaps that had been the exact kind of person she needed to meet for unfiltered opinions and steadfast camaraderie. there had been no sidestepping out of fear or words of things they thought ash would want to hear. it was the truth or nothing.

Araza being able to juggle her weapon is just so fucking fun and I'm so glad I finally got to actually do it in combat. Araza has for the past few sessions sorta come off as something of a clown and not 100% a serious character but it was *really* fucking nice to finally do the thing I had built her for to do. She then followed this juggling feat up with the most bad ass critical success on an intimidation check. I love PF2e.
