Went to WonderCon today and found a booth selling lots of vintage items from Japan, including these old timey cards. It was fun digging through them to see what I could find. If I encounter the same booth again in the future I definitely plan to try and find more. It'd be nice if I could add some Speed Racer ones to the collection I have now (and any other fun surprises).

I'm watching Neo-Human Casshern in preparation for a Casshern Sins rewatch and it's funny how much Casshern keeps lamenting his state as an android and how he lost his humanity, lying to Luna at first & even after making up there's this scene where he tells her to look at him and see for herself how he's not a human anymore and all this time he just looks like a regular dude in a suit wearing a helmet

I know this anime came out in the early 70s so maybe the concept of super-advanced power suits wasn't that common back then but it's amusing to watch it from today's perspective and see how he doesn't even try to lie and say his father invented something like that whenever he risks being found out
