The Unseen Inequity: The Paradox of Intelligence and Wisdom in a Copy-Paste World
In the modern age, where ideas and innovations move faster than they can be fully understood, there exists a paradox that continues to drive inequity and exploitation: the divergence between intelligence and what is often mistakenly accepted as wisdom. This article aims to distill this divergence by using layman’s terms, grounded in logic and research from various scholars, journalists, and…

YEAH Crowfeather hit Breezepaw and YEAH Crowfeather neglecting and emotionally abused him and YEAH Crowfeather rejected his ThunderClan kits for a long time and YEAH Crowfeather treated Nightcloud and Leafpool very poorly and YEAH he drove his son to the Dark Forest and YEAH he didn't spend time with Nightcloud even when their other kits died close to birth and YEAH he's generally absent at best and abusive at worst
but have you considered that Nightcloud is a FEMALE? idk man that's unforgivable to me
sentences the Erins have probably said
The writing team AND the fandom DID say this. Crowfeather was abusive to his son and they all went "god. somehow this is all the nearest woman's fault."
#“we need to stop woobifying nightcloud” “crowfeather and nightcloud are equally bad” “theyre complex characters”-#ENOUGH IM KILLING THE HOSTAGES. acknowledge there is a deep fucking inequality in their writing challenge

i really dislike the idea that marginalized people "being mean" is a more pressing contributing factor to their oppression than the fact that bigoted societies are prone to rewarding people who choose to perpetuate bigotry
#maddie meows#like idk for some people it does not matter how “nice” members of a disenfranchised group are to them#what matters is that feeding into systemic inequality grants them a place of power#also: “mean” and “nice” have quotations around them bc sometimes i think people define those terms differently in this context than i would#as in sometimes being “mean” just constitutes challenging someone's worldview.#something being hard to hear does not necessarily make it mean.#and i am speaking from experience here btw!!! i do like to be kind to people where possible#sometimes i think slash hope i have contributed to people choosing to become better people#other times i have just been cemented as “one of the good ones” in peoples' minds so they could continue justifying their cruelty#kindness is important but it is not a panacea for all the world's ills. if you'll allow me some purple prose lol#man idk i think the opinion i'm frustrated by is ultimately fringe + probably a flanderized version of a more reasonable one#at least i certainly hope so#but it bothers me

The Evolution of Economics Education: From Post-War Theory to Contemporary Challenges
In the aftermath of World War II, the landscape of economics education began to take shape, reflecting the pressing needs of a global economy recovering from years of conflict. A New Dawn: The Influence of Keynesian Economics The 1950s were…

India’s Education System: A Right Denied, A Privilege Bestowed
Education is often hailed as the great equalizer, the ladder to social mobility, and the foundation of a prosperous nation. Yet, in India, this ladder seems to be missing several rungs. The sharp decline of 15 million school enrollments in 2023-2024 signals a crisis, not merely of access but of faith in the system itself. While educational institutions mushroom across the country, their effectiveness remains questionable, particularly for marginalized communities like Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs). Literacy rates among SCs stagnate at a dismal 66.1%, far below the national average. Higher education, which should be a beacon of progress, is alarmingly inaccessible—only three out of ten Indians make it to a university, a figure that lags behind global standards.

The issue of equal access to care for older people compared to the working population is complex and raises significant challenges.
Here are some things to consider
Access to care and age-related discrimination
There are concerns about age discrimination in health care.
Some studies suggest that older people may not receive the same treatments or interventions as younger patients, particularly in resource-limited settings.
Age stereotypes can influence medical decisions, sometimes leading to an underestimation of the health needs of older people.
Factors influencing access to care
Comorbidities
Older adults often have multiple health problems at the same time, which can complicate treatment and require more complex care.
Fragility
Frailty, a decrease in physiological reserve, can make older adults more vulnerable to complications and limit treatment options.
Geographic access
Older adults living in rural or remote areas may have limited access to specialists and health services.
Socio-economic factors: Economic inequalities can also influence access to care, particularly for expensive or non-reimbursed treatments.
Developments and improvements
Efforts are being made to improve access to care for the elderly, particularly through the development of geriatrics, a medical specialty dedicated to the elderly.
Telemedicine and tech-age technologies can help improve access to home care and reduce geographic inequalities.
Awareness campaigns aim to combat age-related discrimination and promote a more equitable approach to health care.
Tech age as an asset
The aim of the tech age is to facilitate home care and relieve pressure on hospitals.
This allows elderly people to maintain a certain autonomy, and makes it easier to monitor the progress of their health.
In conclusion, although challenges persist, progress is being made to improve access to care for older people. It is essential to continue to promote an equitable and personalized approach to care, taking into account the specific needs of each individual.

No Means No: Power Dynamics, Consent, and Systemic Violations
Abstract This paper explores the intersection of power, consent, and systemic violations through the lens of the phrase “no means no.” While traditionally associated with physical and sexual assault, the concept of disregarded consent extends into broader socio-political contexts where those in power systematically abuse and violate autonomy. This paper examines the implications of persistent…
