I saw a couple anons making fic recommendations to you and I thought I’d share one I came across. Full disclosure I’m a hopeless romantic and I just want to read feel good fix-its when it comes to Itachi and Sasuke and the Uchiha clan. What attracted me to this fic despite there being a frickin OC is that it’s an au without the Uchiha massacre. Now I’d like to see how the author goes about rationalising it and everything. Also, no spoilers, the OC isn’t a romantic interest or reader insert. Their AO3 handle is Cheekh, and last I checked this was the knly fic they uploaded.

Thank you for this. I'll check out their fic as well. Found their AO3 profile. It's probably a rewrite of the whole story without all the tragedy and sufferings. It's going to be an ambitious project.
