I'm about to vomit my thoughts on The Fork The Witch and The Worm, so SPOILERS AHEAD

Fresh from my reread of The Inheritance Cycle, I have finished this antology in half a day, and Holy Shit!!! I've been blown away!

I was expecting to learn a few things about were Eragon had settled, and then 3 unconnected stories about Alagaesia, with maybe a few "OH I KNOW THAT" moments, possibly a few hints of what's to come.

But oooh boy, we got so much more than that!!

I will confess, I expected Eragon to go way more to the east than he actually did. I am glad he didn't, this way all the other characters I love are not that far away and can come visit, and maybe one day Angela's prophecy could prove to have some loopholes, somehow. I can see why he can't leave for now, life on Mount Arngor is difficult and busy.

About the Tale itself, I have to confess that the second the mysterious man was described as having black hair I screamed "MURTHAG??" (read as "BEYONCE??")

Still, it was an amazing surprise. I had a faint hope of him being mentioned in this book, and a whole story about him filled me with joy! It looks like he and Thorn are doing better, and I am so happy for them! Hopefully they will reuinite woth Eragon and Saphira in future novels. I would love to read more from his pov.

Also, the hints of a future plot are incredibly interesting! This, plus all the loose ends left from the main saga, give me much to look forward to.

What is there to say?? I love Angela so much!

I want to believe every single words she wrote, and by the end I forgot I was not supposed to trust everything and lost my breath. I could read over 200 chapters of her adventures... There is so much I want to know, and so much we probably won't find out since she is a very mysterious character. I would accept every crumb of backstory Paolini will choose to bless us with.

Elva is as always extremely interesting, and I am happy to see there is hope for her, i really want to see what she will grow into. It also filled me with joy that she managed to heal some of the broken Eldunarì, they sure deserve some happiness too.

This story left me with anticipation and curiosity, I really hope Angela and Elva will have an important role in future books.

This third part was more of what I was expecting for the whole book.

The Urgals have always interested me, and I love that Paolini chose to explore their complexity and goodness instead of simply making them the Bad Guys. I really love the love they have for their myth and poetry, and the Story itself was really beautiful and interesting, and it didn't cease to surprise me (Ra'Zac Ra'Zac Ra'Zac!!! Seriously, it's interesting to know they ate Urgals too!)

And then, the end left me even more frustrated and excited, because baby dragons!!! I really wanted to see them!!

Maybe in the not too distant future we will be blessed by baby dragons...

AAAH, this left me wanting for more... I need to know what happens to Nausada and Arya and Roran, and to the magic users, and Murthag, and who the next Riders will be (i really hope in a dwarf and an Urgal...)

I am full of excitment, and the book is small enough that i will most likely read it again quite soon.

Hmmm let me go through this with my muse list. I know one’s for sure and there are other’s where once I look at them I will get nostalgia.

My Animesa and Banana FIsh muses of course. I don’t know any oher Banana Fish Blogs though. Same with Amnesia though they do have verses in Bungou so there’s that.

Rangiku could use more love and I really want to get in to bleach again. Honestly debated also Adding Nemu and Sojiro Kusaka.

My Bungou OC’s of course. I love Hansuke and the idea of him being Chuuya’s dorky right hand man. I also have yet to really use CHirstopher Paolini but I wantto. I need to finish their about pages.

Yumi from Code Lyoko. I miss her but my Ulrich was my ex and that went south. She was fun though and I miss her.

Yuma and Laito would be fun to use more.

Bisca and Lahar of course and Yukino from Fairytail. They are my babies and Lahar has such a good canon divergent story but I usually ship him with mest (God I miss the Mest who helped me with his story)

On the topic of Fairytail I miss using Levy. I miss it so much but I am sure half the fairytail fandom hates me for unknown reasons now. My ex and half his little posse of friends blocked me, a few I never even talked to and got told it was because they hate how I write ships or some bullshit. idk. So yea My Levy, My originally muse I would love to use her more. She does have various verses. We are talking a lot because I love her that much.

My Genshin mses of course and also my Haikyuu muses. They would be fun.

Hypnosis mic is my current obession so half those muses I wish were used a bit more. Jakurai has been out to play but I would love to use Kuko and Gen and Iris and Tom from the anime and many others I have.

I am gonna say I miss using Miro and Mina from my hero. They were my babies and when my Tamaki and I had a falling out Mirio epseically had already been brushed off and he is whining for some attention.

I know it’s a long list but I have a lot of muses who never get used and I will not get rid of because I do love them and at one point they did get use and I do hope to use them again. I just need to be more active and find more people to click with that have similar muse tastes ya know.

So the reason why they’re in this order is because it’s shortest to longest. I also have picked each of these books for one reason or another, for what I can tell they’re mostly girl books, but who knows there may be some surprises like A Map of Days which is the fourth book in the Miss P series, also Eldest which is the second book in the Eragon series this are both boy books, but I do enjoy them and I want to read more. Also China Rich Girlfriend and Rich People Problems are part of the Crazy Rich Asians series. I like reading a mix of books, but mostly I focus on things that are about to be made into movies. If you have any recommendations I’ll have to put it into my third set of books but I will try my best to make sure it is there. Now hopefully I’ve read some of Husband’s Secret if not I’m sorry.
