since creating a baby on your own is considered risky in the Tied to Fate au, did Dark Cacao or Hollyberry have partners to create their children with or get a surrogate other parent to help them out? Or did they actually have their kids on their own? If the second one, what was the reaction to such a thing? Since it isn’t well known that Ancients can create a baby on their own without the same kinds of drawbacks a regular cookie would face

So in Tied to Fate, both Hollyberry and Dark Cacao are the only parents to their children, however they each had a different method when dealing with the public. And very different stories.

Hollyberry had claimed she had found a surrogate to create her son with, however the surrogate was an unnamed adventurer who didn’t want to be tied down (a lie obviously). She made her son with her own dough and Life powder, only the healer in her castle knows and is sworn to secrecy. Royalberry was also baked so Hollyberry didn’t have to be so careful. So to Hollyberry kingdom she shared the burden and had a health son with no side effects.

Now Dark Cacao kingdom is different. The main problem is that to the Dark Cacao Kingdom producing a child with someone (mainly mixing life powders) is tying yourself to someone, basically tying your souls together. And while Dark Cacao could have a surrogate to help with the dough, some part of him just couldn’t. So he made his son alone. He destroy his first attempt trying to shape his child with a face he couldn’t remember. So after grabbing more dough he sigh and allowed himself to use a cookie cutter. Once his son Dark Choco was alive and moving, Dark Cacao couldn’t bring himself to put him down and try to use to oven (which is the most common given the colder weather makes it harder for cookies to baked naturally). So for the Dark Cacao Kingdom, their king made his son alone, and the weight loss and the king making the illogical choice for his son to not bake, just shows signs of how much it affected him (at least to the kingdom).

I like almost every cookie + have a tendency to change my mind a lot, so my faves are constantly switching, but my ALL TIME fave is Dark Choco. He is my angel, my treasure, my baby, my perfect little chocolate cupcake with sprinkles, no other cookie could ever dethrone him

the snowy dnd party is so so silly and I would love to hear more about them!! Especially if Dark Choco is being dragged into thinking more positive by everyone else. The power of snowy friendship!!

In Relation To This Post

Absolutely!!!

So, the headcanon's plot begins a short while after Dark Choco's depart from both The Dark Cacao Kingdom and The Cookies of Darkness, when he's out in the wilderness on a self-discovery/repentance arc.

During those travels through the frosted forests, he'd discover (or rather, they'd come across him) a DnD Party that had formed, looking to share a campsite (and, y'know, Dark Choco already has a fire going,,,)

Icicle Yeti Cookie & Snow Sugar Cookie are from a bit farther out, near Snowfall Village (or, in Snow Sugar's case, from Snowfall village itself). They'd gone on their own little friendship arc and, with blessings and supplies from Grandma Cotton Cookie, have set out into the world on an adventure together!

Meanwhile, Carol Cookie & Pinecone Cookie are from a bit closer, but even they were originally a bit farther from eachother. Carol being a traveling singer, and Pinecone having protected a section of forest. They ended up crossing paths, and after Carol taught Pinecone what a found-family was, they decided to travel together instead of alone!

Both duos had meet by chance, and simply all* sought temporary shelter for the cold night (*Icicle Yeti didn't need protecting from the cold, they are just here for friendship)

While, under most previous circumstances, Dark Choco would have immediately been wary and his own trust issues would have denied them such undue closeness... he was trying to change. As much as he'd've much prefer to stay solitary, he allowed the DnD Party to make camp for the upcoming night ahead.

Together by a campfire now, they'd all begin sharing stories, as DnD Parties do. Icicle Yeti talking about their previous loneliness, Snow Sugar talking about Grandma Cotton and sharing some of her stories, Carol would sing and share some melodies she'd came up with recently, Pinecone would gush about the snowy trees & forest creatures...

And Dark Choco... would just listen, and be allowed to listen. He'd've been prompted to share, but wasn't pushed when he said there 'wasn't much to say'... they all accepted his silence, his preference to listen, and continued sharing (though, still occasionally encouraged him to reply or give remarks about conversations). Actually, they all ended up talking so long that noone remembered when the sun had set... from here, all stayed in respective tents 'n camps... and Dark Choco Cookie ended up deciding to trust them enough to get a good night's sleep, even with company.

That kind of simple bond forged with mutual understanding and respect... isn't easily shaken. And... it became clear by morning that they all knew that. It became mutual common knowledge. They weren't about to just- forget this ever happened.

And thus, the classical 5 Ran DnD Party was forged, formed, & continued onward! Each still with their own wants of such a venture, but none any longer wanting to do so alone... not even Dark Choco.

In context of your reincarnatec AU, what would be Mystic Flour reaction to seeing Dark Choco for the first time? Since Choco Powder died as a child, seeing him now as an adult has to make her feel some way, right?

A mix of happiness and deep sadness, she had a hard time hiding tears when she first saw him.

On one hand, she lost Choco Powder when he was so young, eyes full of life and adventure, crumble way before his time, and seeing his face again, now older and harden with time. It just reminds her of what those cookies took from her.

On the other hand, this is her son’s soul clear as day, reborn again and has survived! Despite what life has thrown at him and some wrong turns, he has found his path, found what has made him happy. And that’s all she wanted for him as a mother.

For an actual reaction…I think you would get something like this.

I did one pointing out the references, and what each part came from the original and a Gacha life two version since that’s where I tend to make my OCs at if I don’t have time to color them.

" Little feline of the dark"

Masked Choco Cookie doesn't like violence, battles and war she mostly tended in doors as she becomes scared of it anyway. She was baked in the blizzard ridden land as her parents were passed away due to beast raid, destroying her town in the process, she miraculously survived as a freshly baked cookie often cries for help as large footsteps could be heard. A sudden unmounting from the horse could be heard, as a large bulky tall look at the crying cookie eyes softened as the cookie gently grabbed the sobbing child into its arms soothing it. Dark cacao cookie along with his warriors marched towards the invaded town , upon arriving it was too late the residents of this were torn to shreads by the beasts grasping on the rope of his horse tightly suddenly he heard a baby cry and look to see the last tiny surviver. This child reminded of his own son and his determined to raise the child well and not repeat the same mistake again. There several years gone by as the cookie now named masked Choco cookie grown up is often mischievous, agile and nibble like a cat loves to draw doodles, wears cat mask and puts drawings everywhere but dark cacao cookie really cares about his adopted daughter and would scould her in getting herself in danger.

As dark cacao cookie got corrupted like the ancient evils, he became the neo beasts of solitude dubbed frigid cacao cookie. His kingdom now become base for roaming tamed licorice sea monsters as few of the watchers and guards work under him while the rest of the residents were frozen solid cold. Masked Choco cookie met frigid cacao cookie when she was running for her life from the danger of the beasts, due to malnutrition her energy depleted falling straight on the snowy ground her eyes closing, before getting unconscious she saw a large tall gloomy cold solitude figure of a cookie staring at her pitiful figure.

After that incident, frigid cacao cookie let that pitiful cookie stay in his castle for full recovery, warned her not to come into the throne room and touch him not once. Licorice sea monsters would provide everything to her, tending her basic needs basically they act like her personal servents. Alone in her room, she would happily gaze at the mirror drawing various cute doodles on her face unknown that someone was watching from behind.

Frigid cacao cookie decided to let the little feline stay in his castle as she doesn't bother him at all. Masked Choco cookie would explore the entire citedal, memorizing every crook and cranny of it she would often tease the guards, and play with licorice sea monsters to kill time. Unaware that someone put a licorice sea cookie shaped hand on her head petting her like she is some sort of feline, her face becomes poker unaware of the situation as a rare ghost smile appears on frigid cacao cookies face.

Unaware one day, the sneaky feline masked Choco cookie draw cute doodles on the faces of twin dragons of north and south, disappearing like a the flash which left the dragons flabbergasted in confusion as frigid cacao cookie tried to hold on his laughter.

Cherry Blossom's is made out of cherry blossom flavored cream and is very sweet and affectionate. Despite not knowing her past life (other than her name just like the others), she still enjoys having picnics with everyone, especially with Cherry.

Mint Choco is technically two halves (mint on the outside and chocolate on the inside), but they immediately fused together. He can un-fuse himself whenever he wants to, which gives everyone an idea that if Affogato Coffee doesn't reject Affogato Ice Cream, they can unite easily. The only problem now is how they can restore their original body to house their soul in.

Blackberry's soul is made out of blackberry juice. She loves to help everyone whenever she can. Whenever she sees Onion, she always tries to give her a hug and patting her head to comfort her.

Alchemist's soul is made out of grape juice and is very cooperative when it comes to investigations. She also has a tendency to not go anywhere without Vampire. It's her sister instincts that tell her that he needs her.

Cream Puff is made out of cream! Since she is the recent victim of the Soulstone Shattering Incident, Cream Puff is the most delicate and always follows Latte around. She is mostly seen inside the library or sleeping in her personal bedroom within the Vanilla Castle.

Sorbet Shark is some kind of blue ice cream. They can shape themselves into their fish form whenever they want, and they seem to have a protective jelly layer on the outside when they go underwater. They're also the smallest one in the group.

Licorice's soul is made out of licorice syrup. This one has the tendency to annoy Alchemist and Affogato Coffee, and funnily enough, he gets along with the others. He acts brotherly towards Cream Puff and Sorbet Shark.
