YOU. YOU'RE THE TRANSFEM INTERSEX RATIO PERSON. I LOVE YOU.
:o!! It's me indeed, hello!!!
I'm glad you like the headcanon, she's everything to me tbh. You can safely assume any time I talk about Ratio that this conception of her is in my mind.
ramblings under the cut (CW: vague mentions of intersexism and transmisogyny)
About her being intersex, I usually have two sets of headcanons: one where she has nCAH and the other hyperandrogenic PCOS. Part of why I have this headcanon is projection ofc; but it's also because I like the idea of Ratio in her goal to cure the disease of ignorance, she desires to destroy the false concept of the sex binary. It makes the goal very personal to her, being affected by intersexism, in addition to the altruism.
I think Ratio struggled a lot in her transition journey, because she felt like she had to give up a lot of the things she liked about her body and herself and had to conform to beauty standards she didn't like in her attempts to achieve the Ideal Woman status. I think she used to do extensive voice training, wear full beat makeup, and tried to avoid putting on muscle to give the thin and dainty vibe. Even though she likes her deep voice, a full face is a sensory nightmare for her, and trying to keep her body mass down was unhealthy for her...that's what she thought she needed to do. Her oddly British accent (odd for a character Greek and Roman inspired) is from imitating women she thought of as elegant and refined. She used to wear pumps in her classroom and offices even though she hated how they hurt her feet, because that's what other women wear to work.
And I imagine the Ratio we have in the present is one who is secure in her gender identity that she does not feel the need to overperform femininity. She knows that she does need to be accepted by others to know her own worth. Her body is toned and built, she speaks with a deep voice, wears clothes that are comfortable for her (cutouts for ventilation and a nice pair of sandals), puts on red eyeliner and calls it a look. And you can tell she loves it because of all those statues lmao.
#she's also on E because I think estrogen has the power to fix anyone's problems#I think present Ratio in my hcs is like. almost 20 years on E because she started at 21#yes ratio is pushing 40s in my hcs. I enjoy older yuri#and older transfem hcs in general. I like making older people transfem. ratio. welt. blade. jing yuan. serval and acheron for canon women.#none of them are under the age of 35 to me sorry to everyone else out there#not to slip in ships but intersex transfem ratio and agender aventurine are peak yuri to me and I don't get to talk about it much#they are so cartoon opinionated wife and tiny rich guy coded ykwim. big wife and wifeguy even tho gender is more ambiguous for them to me#mostly because I think ratio suffers a lot of ID issues being caught between the mundane and the divine#too ordinary for geniuses and too exceptional for the average of her sociopolitical class#similarly her intersexuality and transness places her outside the idea of a binary#and for ave it's the whole being so thoroughly dehumanized as a survivor of genocide and slavery causing ID issues#bc concepts of gender are utilized as tools in oppression and racial dominance. stripping yours and replacing with theirs#but that's a whole other conversation to be had that is probably too deep for tumblr#anyways. hi. i hope i dont scare you away#— 🌹#HSR#honkai star rail#dr. veritas ratio#ask and ye shall be answered

I spent five years coming up with unique ways to photograph the same group of plushies to help tell a story.
You don't need AI to help you be creative, you're just being lazy and want brain chemicals without doing any of the work or respecting the people who put time and effort into it.
#if i could develop a compelling narrative with a Pikachu plush and an Eevee i found at a Goodwill#you can do better than an algorithm#being creative is difficult but that's part of what makes it rewarding!#don't let the slop machine have your imagination algorithms have already taken so much from you#full disclosure i actually DO use Perplexity as an add on to Google and sometimes i have it help me with code#i do think having a computer assist you with creating automation can be good!#there ARE good AI tools - at least on paper#there's the whole power consumption thing which is...not great and i do admit i might not be blameless for that reason#but as an alternative for daydreaming?#GO MAKE YOUR OWN#it's okay if it's derivative sometimes!#you're not an impostor unless you're actively stealing from creatives#and you'll never guess what image generation does#it's not even generation actually it's just rehashing#anyways DeviantArt is essentially unusable now#i want real creativity please no more LLM trash thank you#artists deserve more respect#and i hope Microsoft is punted directly into the Sun

anyways, everyone should know about KodyTools.
it's a website with a collection of online tools; everything from math, finance, writing/text, science, coding, date/time, et cetera. and not just one or two for each category either! there are over 200 tools on this website. it's just absolutely fantastic; it's also an easy website to navigate + it's really simple to use all the tools! they also explain each one~
also it's free + there is only one singular ad, as far as i can tell, just the single banner at the top of the page. so you won't have to deal with annoying ad pop ups constantly.
i actually found it because of their text tools, specifically their combination generator + their sort lines generator (it's actually how i got all the combinations for my TF picker wheel)! i also recently found their empty lines remover which has been a lifesaver~
some (but not all) other ones they have:

i really think the best way to learn to code as a hobbyist is to just… start projects you don’t know how to do. being careful not to be too overwhelmingly ambitious of course, starting small is good, but at least personally, it’s very engaging to sit down to code something, not know how to do it, and pick up new skills while doing the research necessary to make the thing. and then at the end you have the thing you wanted to make!
#ayano was here#ayano.txt#even though i’ve made more complex stuff since#i remember my gen 1 shiny tool was a massive breakthrough for me#i redid that project from scratch 3 times because i kept spaghetti coding myself into a corner#it was frustrating and i endured many headaches#but it was so worth it#and actually i recoded it a fourth time some months ago#to fix a few obscure bugs and generally make the code cleaner#because i had learned so much since the first version#i was able to do it because i cared a lot about the project!!

once again furious at how AI has been implemented and fucking. hyped up and goddamn bullshit. the way its being used to steal creative works and fuck with artists and create porn of real people is fucking NASTY. but god fucking damnit it could be so useful. fucking. ai voice reader for my stupid incomprehensible textbooks where the voice isn't datamined against the person's will. ai npcs that didn't steal their fucking data. ai routine builders that can learn a person's typical day and preferences and help build checklists for people who struggle w tasks. they could be SO USEFUL. but no. no. we can't have useful things. improving lives??? nahhhhhh we've gotta make Pretty Pictures and Steal Fucking Everything to do it
#ughhhghhghhg#ive got no opinion on ai coding tho i personally try to avoid it#the big difference THERE is that SO fucking much programming shit is open source#so the real pitfall isn't in the ethics of using ai its more in how relying on it can degrade your own skill#but a lot of IDE's already help you take shortcuts by implementing their own setters and getters or whatever the fuck#idk i think the difference is interesting#but still fucking infuriating. it could be SO COOL#crying wailing gnashing my teeth#AND. there's the problem with fucking using AI to do tasks that DO NOT need ai#like not even skill-reduction tasks like summarizing or critical thinking or whatever#but like. name generators. calculators. providing random prompts. random number generation#sure ai may put that conveniently in one place but you know what else did#more or less in the same place???#search engines#idk ik part of it is probably ease of implementation but you do NOT need a fucking MAMMOTH to do a mouse's task#this is basic Computer Rules people you are supposed to make things efficient and space conscious and readable#making an ai calculate 2 + 2 and probably = 4 is. not that.#okay tangent ovoer my point is ai is a tool thats being used really really really badly and it makes me mad because i can see how it could#used goodly

How Code Generation Speeds Up Your Software Development Process

In the fast-paced world of software development, delivering robust and scalable solutions quickly has become a priority. Businesses demand faster time-to-market, while developers aim for efficiency without compromising quality. This is where code generation comes into play. Code generation has become a game-changer for development teams by automating repetitive tasks and streamlining workflows. This blog will explore how code generation accelerates the development process and why platforms like Fab Builder lead this transformation.
What is Code Generation?
Code generation refers to the process of automatically creating code based on predefined templates, models, or configurations. Instead of writing every line of code manually, developers can use tools to generate boilerplate code, repetitive functions, or even entire modules. The generated code serves as a foundation that can be customized further, saving time and reducing manual effort.
Code generation tools are particularly useful for:
Creating CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete)
Setting up APIs and database connections
Generating front-end components and back-end logic
By eliminating redundant coding tasks, code generation enables developers to focus on more critical and creative aspects of their projects.
How Code Generation Speeds Up Development
1. Automating Repetitive Tasks
One of the most significant time sinks in software development is repetitive coding. Tasks such as creating similar database queries, setting up APIs, or building forms can be automated through code generation.
For example:
A developer can use a platform like Fab Builder to automatically generate CRUD operations for a database table with just a few clicks.
Instead of manually writing code for each endpoint, a code generator can create a full suite of RESTful APIs.
This automation ensures that developers don’t have to reinvent the wheel, allowing them to deliver solutions faster.
2. Reducing Manual Errors
Manually writing code increases the chances of introducing bugs, typos, or inconsistencies. With code generation, the risk of human error is minimized. Generated code follows predefined templates and rules, ensuring consistency and reliability.
For example, Fab Builder ensures that generated code adheres to best practices and coding standards, making it easier to debug and maintain. This reduces time spent on fixing errors and improves overall code quality.
3. Accelerating Prototyping and MVP Development
When launching a new product, businesses often start with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to validate their idea. Code generation tools are ideal for rapid prototyping and MVP development.
Developers can:
Quickly generate functional modules for the core features of the application.
Test and iterate on the product faster without investing time in building everything from scratch.
With platforms like Fab Builder, teams can create a working prototype in minutes rather than weeks, gaining a competitive edge in the market.
4. Boosting Developer Productivity
Code generation tools handle the tedious aspects of coding, freeing up developers to focus on more complex and value-added tasks.
For example:
Instead of spending hours setting up a database schema, developers can generate it in minutes and concentrate on implementing business logic.
By automating repetitive tasks, developers experience less burnout and can maintain a higher level of creativity and problem-solving.
5. Enabling Consistent Coding Standards
In large development teams, maintaining consistent coding standards can be a challenge. Code generation tools ensure that the generated code follows standardized patterns and practices. This consistency simplifies collaboration, as every team member works with code that’s uniform and easy to understand.
The Role of Fab Builder in Code Generation
Fab Builder is a leading platform that leverages the power of code generation to streamline the development process. Here’s how it accelerates software development:
1. Pre-Built Templates and Components
Fab Builder provides a library of pre-built templates and components that cater to various development needs. Whether it’s creating forms, setting up APIs, or designing user interfaces, the platform offers ready-made solutions that can be customized as needed.
2. Seamless Integration with Existing Tools
Fab Builder integrates seamlessly with popular development tools and frameworks. This allows developers to incorporate generated code into their existing projects without disruptions.
3. Scalability and Flexibility
The platform supports scalable architecture, making it suitable for projects of all sizes. Whether you’re building a small app or a complex enterprise solution, Fab Builder’s code generation capabilities can adapt to your requirements.
4. Real-Time Previews and Customization
With Fab Builder, developers can preview generated code in real-time and make necessary adjustments. This feature ensures that the final output aligns with the project’s specifications and goals.
Beyond Speed: Additional Benefits of Code Generation
While speeding up development is the primary advantage of code generation, it also offers several other benefits:
1. Improved Collaboration
Generated code is often easier to read and understand, making it simpler for teams to collaborate. Team members can work on different parts of the project without worrying about inconsistencies.
2. Scalability
Code generation tools make it easier to scale applications. For instance, adding new features or modules becomes a matter of generating additional code rather than starting from scratch.
3. Cost-Effectiveness
By reducing development time and minimizing errors, code generation helps lower overall project costs. Businesses can allocate resources more efficiently and achieve better ROI.
4. Focus on Innovation
With routine tasks automated, developers can dedicate more time to innovation and strategic problem-solving, resulting in better products and solutions.
Tips for Maximizing the Benefits of Code Generation
To fully leverage the advantages of code generation, consider the following tips:
Choose the Right Platform: Select a tool like Fab Builder that aligns with your project’s requirements and goals.
Customize Generated Code: Use generated code as a starting point and customize it to meet your specific needs.
Regularly Review Code: Periodically review the generated code to ensure it adheres to best practices and performs optimally.
Combine Automation with Manual Coding: While code generation speeds up repetitive tasks, critical parts of the application may still require manual coding for optimal performance.
Conclusion
Code generation is revolutionizing the software development process by automating repetitive tasks, reducing errors, and accelerating time-to-market. Tools like Fab Builder empower developers to work smarter, not harder, by providing efficient code generation solutions tailored to modern development needs.
By incorporating code generation into your workflow, you can not only speed up development but also improve code quality, foster collaboration, and focus on delivering innovative solutions. Explore Fab Builder today and experience how it can transform your development process.

#lmao shut up haz#before you try and pull my wig for using copilot. congrats for buying into the myth that code gen tools could ever actually replace devs#I use these tools mostly because it's good resume building. they're actually not bad at generating refactors for declarative code.#but once you start doing anything with meaningful complexity they just start confidently spitting out nonsense that doesn't work#copilot is basically just a streamlined version of using stackoverflow. which is great because stackoverflow is complete ass#and searching any code online just exposes you to extreme amounts of medium blog SEO spam

The good thing about this specifically is that:
1- the marketing potential of AI has plummeted. Most likely companies will stop shoving AI in everything for clout and forcing its customers to interact with it. Fingers crossed.
2- It proved that US companies' claims that they need more resources and power was untrue. Basically deepseek is the 1 LED to replace OpenAI's 20 incandescent lightbulbs. If we can't extinguish AI, the least we can do is make it take up as many resources as your average minecraft server, and this is a step towards it.
3- It's a huge win for open source as a whole. The more human achievement is not locked behind a price tag, the better for all of humanity, and the more we can stimulate the funding of research and knowledge that isn't for-profit.

So on the 27th DeepSeek R1 dropped (a chinese version of ChatGPT that is open source, free and beats GPT's 200 dollar subscription, using less resources and less money) and the tech market just had a loss of $1,2 Trillion.
Source

#there is a potential to AI that isn't in creativity. but that's 1% of its use cases.#using it to chat or to make “art” for your book cover or to “”write“” you a story is not it#but you can say use a generative system to transcribe a meeting. Or to improve your code syntax (give you can evaluate the result yourself)#all this to say: we can't extinguish AI. But we can make it NOT the improperly used bullshit it is now.#the less companies push AI the less people use it as a therapist or as a ghost“”“writer”“”“.#and the more it stays where it should: as a tool that exists to aid the work of estabilished professionals that can verify its output.#meh
