#we are #we are the series #we are series #tanfang #aou thanaboon #aouboom #boom tharatorn #my edits #weareedit #AOUBOOM MAIN LEADS WHEN???#i do appreciate them and the way they’ve been portraying tanfang #i know tan was a bit over the top 99% of the time #but every scene and touch felt so genuine #and i’m not gonna credit that to new #bc he wasn’t able to direct ppw in a way that didn’t make their kisses look a bit awkward #i know scenes have to look aesthetically pleasing in some way #and that’s why we keep having to deal the ‘no one would kiss with this much space for jesus between each other’ complaints #but like look at aouboom here #this is mostly them and their acting choices in my humble opinion #and don’t get me started on the pecks #ppw BARELY touched the other one’s lips when they had to do a peck kiss #like cmon the difference between ppw and aouboom pecks is insane #i’m sorry for picking on ppw but i’m a bit sad that some of their romantic scenes were a bit lackluster #especially that very last kiss which tbh i rather wouldn’t have seen bc it felt a bit awkward to me #but that may be just me #i need new to get a bit more frisky with kiss scenes when it comes to his directing #bc i feel like friskier kiss scenes only happen when the actors mostly do their thing after finding out what the director wants #(maybe i’m completely wrong about new but tkdkfdkddkdk)#and don’t get me wrong idgaf if there are kisses or not but if there’s a kiss scene you should commit instead of holding yourself back idk #and ppw definitely need a better director to help them achieve that bc jojo was definitely better at directing them

getting a little maybe irritated at how often i see autistic will being refuted because he "made himself out to be that way to avoid attention" ... ??? that's autistic. going out of his way to make yourself appear weird and unsociable so you can avoid socializing is. extremely autistic. lying and exaggerating about yourself out of fear of people getting too close and realizing youre a bad person is extremely autistic. the show honestly backpedals on will's empathy half the time, acting like it is only applicable when it comes to his job, but frequently showing that it isn't. in the first episode, hannibal literally notices his face getting red because they're near two people who are arguing. he's not exaggerating or faking his nightmares, his inability to deattach himself from others. yeah, he's got a complicated psychological profile that autism doesn't entirely cover or explain. that doesn't mean he's not still autistic. his person suit, the person he presents himself as to others, the choice to do that autistic masking. even if part of his masking is hiding behind being autistic in hopes it will make him less favorable to others and not further inspected, that is autistic masking. i think it is so insanely annoying that just because a character wasn't written with the intent in mind doesnt mean you cant accidentally write a valid representation of something anyways. fuller didn't intend on hannigram becoming as romantic as it did, but understood that it came along with the subtext anyways. acting like hes completely above fitting criteria of mental illness because he's "fictional" and has a "fictional" disorder that HIGHLY exemplifies autism is. incredibly stupid. and boring

Really quick before I go to bed because this boils in my more whenever anyone asks me about where whatever fic has gone/what happened to updates:

A lot of people have been asking for my confessions series to come back and I just have to say that part of the reason I stopped posting it regularly/have no real motivation to publish it anymore is because there were fairly low interactions for each chapter. I didn’t really feel bad about putting it on indefinite hiatus because it didn’t seem like it would matter to most people?

I’d been so excited to share this story and between the notifs ratios/low feedback/chapters being flagged within hours, it killed my love for the series and when I realized what was happening, I stopped posting the chapters so I could fall in love with my own work again. And it worked! I adore that AU and writing it at my own pace and talking about it with my friends, etc.

But it’s crazy to me that so many people ask when it’s coming back/why it’s stopped while continuing to like,, Not interact with the parts of the series that are posted?

I’m not saying I need anyone to flood me with notifications to get me to post because I make it my policy now to post on my own terms in order to protect my own love of writing/what I write, but basically.. don’t be confused when a series you supposedly love and miss stops updating when you don’t show that you care while someone is putting in time and effort into putting out content for you. Don’t wait for writers get discouraged or burnt out before you show your support.

#idk if this makes sense bc it’s almost 2am but its just such an odd phenomenon I’ve been experiencing #and I’ve seen other writers going through it too and idk I don’t think a lot of people understand that writing itself itls a hobby #but choosing to share it and put yourself on a schedule is a completely DIFFERENT commitment and it’s easy to stop that part #so idk.. just think about appreciating your favorite creators for that free commitment to sharing their work #okay bye gn pls don’t be mean to me about this #motts speaks.

#'can you add this feature' no its due in 6 hours 'can you move these buttons around' im in the middle of doing something else #literally asked me to stop working on a feature that i was pretty much done programmint and then said 'we dont need it anyways :)'#our group's artist is legit driving me insane like do you want fries with that too?? want me to move the text 2px to the left??#just fucking download unity yourself and do it jfc we have a laundry list of like 10 other things to do #also in almost every game jam i've worked on where i'm programming with another (usually male) programmer-#-when i push something that is FINISHED and DONE occasionally i glance over it after a few more commits and-#-find that the other programmer has decided to completely restructure the code :) and it works exactly the same!#like that's rude right? that's fucking rude and i'm not just a crazy woman about it???????? to rewrite the work someone else ALREADY DID????

i have many thoughts/opinions/critiques about the origins of the national parks and overall how land has been acquired throughout the history of the united states, but the people who are like 'well the national parks are a tool of colonialism so why should i give a shit about whats happening to them' seem to have done that thing where they become so woke that they become conservative again

#look #yes 100% for sure the national parks and the way in which the federal government throughout our nations history has been acquiring this lan #has done so through theft of native peoples #i wont dispute that point because i agree with it #but the reality of the situation is that if you are a proponent of movements like land back and restoring indigenous #stewardship of this land #there still actually has to be land to give back #and the current admin seems intent on selling off our parks to the highest bidder #especially coming from NON AMERICANS #its genuinely baffling to see how anyone can come to the decision that because there has been a moral injustice committed #it is better to be apathetic and resign yourself completely to a defeatist #self righteous portrait of perfect theoretical moral clarity #rather than yknow #working to improve the tangible conditions we have a say in right now that could hopefully work towards restoring land that has been stolen #havent been on tumblr in a bit and the first post i saw was something like this and i guess not even the batshit insane drivel on twitter #was able to keep me inoculated against some of the batshit insane tumblr takes
