Also if this is the year of Riddle I think they might release the equestrian club finally and I can see him in the new years event since cater and Trey have done It. Which club r u most excited for? idk man i think it's telling that two months after the c3 finale, most fans who came in with c1 or c2 are, at their kindest, just enjoying the ride but still saying they hope c4 does [thing c1 and c2 did that c3 did not], and meanwhile fans who loudly defend c3 and bell's hells have been complaining about divergence and wildemount wildlings and ignoring everything else cr is doing because it's not a spigot producing their desired blorbo content

I’m fully convinced Kill Bill is one of Damian Wayne’s favorite movies. Like, this boy would absolutely whistle the theme and quote the lines at criminals

Damian begins whistling the Kill Bill theme, stepping out of the shadows. His katana drags along the concrete, sending sparks flying. Tim: …is he whistling? Jason: More importantly…Is that the Kill Bill theme? The Batfam watches as the criminals freeze in pure terror. Dick: *sighing* He’s doing the thing again. Duke: Oh god, who let him watch the movie again? Tim: Someone stop him. Jason: You stop him. Tim: I like my limbs attached, thanks. Dick: *pinching the bridge of his nose* We really shouldn’t have let Alfred buy him the Blu-ray. They all keep watching. No one moves to actually intervene.  Jason: *tilting his head as he stares in mild approval* Okay but… you gotta admit, it’s pretty cinematic. Something that really annoys me about most June haters is how they uncritically treat John's emulation of his father as a good thing. It just baffles me how someone can read to the end of Homestuck, a story all about growing up and coming to terms with queer identity, see that John ends the story confined to the exact same house he started the story in, still trying to emulate his long dead father figure, and conclude that actually this is someone with a perfectly healthy relationship to masculinity. Dad Egbert was a good guy, yes, but that doesn't change the fact that he was somebody who instilled within his son rigid values regarding the family (a fire belongs in a fireplace, a tree needs a tire, etc) that follow John into and beyond the end of the story! Regardless of whether you read John as trans or not, the narrative is practically screaming that he NEEDS to move past those ideas in order to grow out of the clear stagnation he's (home)stuck in during the credits!

Okay, this is just me writing down sudden realisation that I had about shifting and stuff. I don’t know. Rambling as usual.

Edit: I just had the coolest realisation as I was voice typing so this is mostly unedited to keep the authenticity. I hope you find it helpful.

I just thought about subliminals, let’s say the becoming pretty kind. Think: having fuller lips or prettier nose or maybe even freckles. I remember this time — I was watching a girl’s video (it was a few years back) where she was talking about how she used subliminals to change her appearance and even people started complimenting her and asking her how that happened.

And I’m just like — she just shifted to multiple realities where her features had very little changes until finally she found herself in a reality where: 1) she fitted her own vision of pretty; 2) people, I guess, noticed or were aware of the change in her appearance and gave her external validation.

I mean that that girl created and shifted to her desired reality, completely unaware of it. (Edit: Basically, she just decided — even unconsciously so — that this is where she wanted to go. This is what she wanted to experience. She wanted her appearance changed and she wanted people to notice that. And her reality reflected that.)

Wait…

As I was “writing” this I was like thinking of saying something like “because if you stay in the same reality there is no way that your features would change”. But …. what do you mean? That’s not true. There is no ONE reality. There’s only moments. And they’re constantly shifting—

My ears just started ringing and I’m honestly about to cry. I don’t know. I got so emotional all of a sudden…. I think as I am voice typing this I came to the realisation that there is no ONE reality. (And definitely not one in which you are “stuck”.) There is the universe. And there is being. And you’re constantly shifting whether you want to or not. (It’s inevitable.)

The thing is… YOU decide WHERE you shift to. Not when. Not if. WHERE.

Like… almost on command…

Prowl in tfp would certainly be a dynamic. He’d disagree and agree with Optimus about things but I can also see how he cares for the team’s human allies in his own way. Like, helping Jack keep watch of the others, making sure Miko doesn’t sneak into battle, sometimes even playing puzzle games with Raf and discussing strategies with Fowler. He might also be in conflict with Arcee about her revenge over Arachnid but focus more on a logical standpoint. He cares through action but that might make him push himself further than he should.

prowl would be such a good addition to the crew, so many things you can do with him! also ratchet would be SO happy to finally have someone on the base who shares his point of view in everything!!

but, like, in general, prowl would be such a useful guy. ratchet is a great advisor for optimus, really, but he lacks experience in military strategy and everyone else on the team is simply troops and warriors. honestly, i think it's a bit, well, not stupid, but weird not to have a character with such a role on this show, given everything that happens here. i guess, ultra magnus was supposed to be op's local tactician or first officer, but idk he didn't really help much? :D ratchet of course also was doing a great job of questioning some of prime's decisions, but like i said in one of my posts it's easy to ignore one annoying guy that is trying to cool you, but if you have at least two of them buzzing stuff in your ears, it's gonna be harder for you to do stupid things. yeah, tfp prime didn't have much of a problem with leadership, but still prowl def could find himself a place here

and i think prowl would have such an interesting relationships with the kids!

raf would shock him. a human protoform? and so smart?? even smarter than him sometimes?? what??? raf would be the reason why prowl melted to the kids

i think jack would actually like him. prowl is such a cool, serious, badass guy, young boys want to be like that. and prowl is more open than op, so it's not scary to talk to him. mostly. perhaps jack would discreetly try to adopt some of his behavioural traits? arcee is his main friend, but not really in a mentor way? and smokey influenced him to a slightly worse degree, so prowl could have been the reason jack started becoming more responsible and all. in the show it clearly happened with op's impact, but i think it would have been more logical with someone like prowl

and miko. oooh, miko. ratchet didn't have that much energy to argue with the kids, he was busy. fix this, heal that. workaholic. prowl clearly would have had more free time to waste on being pain in the ass. yeah, he would lecture her sooo much, he'd be so annoying!! but miko would just push back. their beef would be so much greater than the beef that prowl and grimlock had in marvel comics, i swear

prowl also would be so awkward in different social situations!! random image: prowl is trying to get close to the kids and offers to drive them to school. the trio stares at him in silence. DUDE. we don't want our classmates to see A COP CAR driving us to school! wtf! (it takes him some time to see the problem, sjsjsjjaj)

and arcee... prowl is calm, judicious, reasonable, sharing most of the op's views. yeah, i don't think he'd approve of revenge, he'd try to talk to arcee, let her know that these feelings are clouding her judgment (he knows how pain can affect you, he himself has been on the verge of hurting many for fear of losing someone), mention that he lost a very important person too, try to tell her about bluestreak... she would not listen to him. "your friend hadn't died because of someone else's hand, he wasn't killed. you wouldn't understand" alas, only arcee could help herself to get over it, but guidance from those around her would be helpful
