As for cuddling, it might depend on your Returning Visitor's preferences, but in general:

Either works for B! They want you to express your preference first to ensure your comfort level since this is new. They're just happy to be cuddling you. 😌 B would have a very soft look on their face and will pull you near or tuck closer after the two of you settle down.

J tends to be the big spoon. They like to hold you very close and have you near. On occasion, our Detective would actually really love to be the little spoon after long days at work or if they just need to be held, preferably tucked away in your arms and knowing you won't let go. It's a rarity, but when it happens, you'll know how much J missed you. (Bonus points if you play with their hair, which can help them relax, if not melt, even further into your hold.)

JR's cuddling somewhat depends on the MC's preference, but R likes to be in the middle or have you in the middle, while J tends to be on one of the sides. R is determined to have contact with both of you! 😏 J is more lowkey about this, draping an arm over the two of you or occasionally resting a gentle hand so they know you're there. Deeper in romance, R will be able to pick up, if not sense, when J needs to be in the center. They'll ensure that J gets that time and affection.

Mal is already known for having an encompassing presence that ensnares the MC. This is only reinforced by their scenes in Book Two that can significantly deepen the romance route. Our beloved red flag might turn into a blanket for those who treat them right. 💞 They'll want the MC firmly entrenched within their space by either holding them to their chest or allowing themself to be held. Regardless, Mal returns any attention tenfold. Big spoon, little spoon, switchblade, etc. As long as they're with you, Mal doesn't really care about the positions.

Remaking my jwct oc au because I didn't like the first one

Basically Corvin and Adeline, except they're healthier.

Adeline is no longer Soyona's adopted daughter, I don't know how I came to think of that, but Soyona having a daughter didn't really sit right with me, instead she works for Soyona and sees Soyona as a mother figure, Adeline lost her bio mom to some dinos and her (step) dad is a dead beat and doesn't really know where he is, her biological dad is unknown, Corvin is still the handler's daughter except Corvin was made as an experiment of whether babies can be made in those tube things, Avis too, also they have a very itty bitty bit of Atrociraptor DNA, they were born in 2002 haven't decided on which month yet, but Corvin and Avis were born in the winter and fall months, Adeline was born in 2003 around spring.

Corvin is more detached here, being raised as an experiment and all, like the indominus, she was raised in captivity, the only clear relationship she has is with the handler since she raised her and she sees the scientists as enemies or threats to her life, Avis is a ray of sunshine, until you hurt Corvin and only then is Avis going full speed murder, she died because of that, the scientists think she was too aggressive to be kept around so they shot her when she was around 19-20, Corvin didn't immediately react, she made them think she was compliant and obedient, only to feed them to their own creations once they let their guard down.

Adeline meets Corvin and Avis, but only as kids because Adeline's mom was one of the scientists that helped make them, Corvin has an attachment to her because she was the only person other than Avis and the handler to look at her like a normal being (And Corvin might also be the reason Adeline's bio mom is dead, but I think I'll change it to Avis's aggressive nature accidentally killing Adeline's mom and until more deaths from Avis occurred only then did the scientists put her down).

They're both healthier than my original concept of them, they're both sadistic, just on different levels, Adeline gets a thrill seeing horrible people suffer and get what they deserve, while Corvin gets the thrill of being the one to give those people what they deserve.

They met again when they both started working for Soyona, Corvin as a handler and Adeline as Soyona's right hand woman, (this au is where Brooklynn doesn't leave the broker and starts to get attached since the broker did all that stuff for her so she just stays) the handler is alive too, Soyona privately asks if she killed that dude she wasn't supposed to and the handler clarifies she didn't, Soyona this time only wanted to sell the Atrociraptors when they hurt Adeline on accident, she gets talked out of it by Brooklynn and Adeline so that the handler doesn't go against her.

Corvin looks up to the handler, but is kinda skeptical about the handler's strategies when hunting the nublar five, she felt as if there was something wrong, but she just didn't want to ask the handler or bother her about it, they both share some physical traits, but Corvin has a bigger moral compass, she won't immediately kill someone without reason, but she will because it's her defense mechanism.

8. Is there a story idea you have that you would love if it could appear fully realized but that you do not think you’ll ever write yourself?

Yes 😭 Ategnatos, aka, the Gale mpreg fic where Giliath gets Gale's Orb transfused to him and sacrifices himself instead so that Gale can raise his and Mystra's child. But more than that I'd really, really just love to read a comfort fic with all my favorite things. Namely spacesuits/puffy suits. I could really use a comfy suit fic right now ngl 💀

10. If you could banish a single trope to live at the bottom of the ocean, never to be seen again by any human eyes (or at least your own), which trope would that be?

Omg I feel like normally I'd have a good answer for this but I do not right now </3 Although I guess I'd be okay if I never saw cannibalism again, especially if it's that "act of devotion" type of stuff? IT'S FINE IF OTHER PEOPLE LIKE TO WRITE/READ IT. I JUST DON'T. LOL. Squicks me out so much. Oh and blooddrinking but that's easier to just skip over lol it's the cannibalism that makes my skin crawl

11. Conversely, if you had to pick a single trope to read for the next seven-and-half years, which trope would that be?

So much soft fluffy comfort stuff,,, I'm really into soft mpreg right now IDK WHY. So maybe that's not a good answer for "seven-and-a-half-years?" I guess a better answer to that would be space-themed stuff, especially if it's lighthearted and sweet.

16. Is there a commonly held misconception about one of your stories that you’d like to correct for the masses?

Lol I don't think "the masses" really read my stuff but I want to make it abundantly clear that just because Giliath is my specialist little boy doesn't mean he's always in the right or that I think he's in the right. A lot of the time I'll write him and be like "man c'mon, why are you doing that?"

Dovetailing off of that, he tries to be this absolute paragon of goodness and the ironic thing about that is that sometimes he really hurts people by doing what he thinks is the right thing. I really didn't mean for him to be a Lawful Good(TM) character but he kind of is, and not just because he thinks it's Good and Just or whatever, but because the alternative is admitting he needs help and that he too has very selfish desires and wants to feel soft and vulnerable -- and he can't have that. He needs to be the protector. Even if it's corroding him in the long-run

20. Is there anything about any one of your fics that you have been dying to discuss but haven’t had the chance to?

Ohh great question, and I see I've gotten a couple others asking this one as well!!

I'm going to talk about Light. I don't actually have a ton of things to say about it but I fucking love this fic. Thinking about it makes me so happy, and that goes for the other fic on that account too (which is just a drabble but is so important to me).

I think it's funny how I basically went from sheer terror of posting something that is actually so sweet and gentle and now I'm like... okay! It's fine, actually! It's like reclaiming myself in a way. I don't usually care about my fics. I put a lot of work into them but at the end of the day they are not something that I personally would want to read. But I like reading these. Or, if I can't bring myself to read them, I like thinking about them (because I have to admit it's still kind of embarrassing to read my writing once it's posted).

But yeah, I feel a lot of shame for how self-indulgent and saccharine this stuff is, but a friend of mine (you know who you are) is teaching me that writing is a sanctuary, and that this is where I can go and be safe and my weird little self while the world outside feels like it's on a high speed collision course. Hating myself for liking things isn't helping anyone and it kind of makes others feel like they need to hate themselves, too. So while the shame isn't gone completely, every day I feel a little more comfortable being myself and just being fucking weird. And I hope I can inspire others to be like that too.

He's fucked up.

The song starts off with a sigh off relief– finally, he's free of the daeva (he's an Assimar) that he blames for the death of his best friend, and really everything else. And then begin the atrocities— Corvin leading a band of ruffians to murder and plunder and burn for the benefit of the cult who'd been using his anger and grief to do their bidding and get revenge on the world.

The bells rang overhead, echoing throughout the streets throughout Ishgard and within the church, a reverberation settling in her core at the sound striking the time. The time that was to set in action the course of her life moving forward. From the moment that Cordelia had learned that her marriage arrangement was to be to Ambrose Gray, her mind set forth to planning and even now, despite being physically present, she was in a dazed state and far away.

Icy spiderweb like touches graced the back of her neck, fingertips just barely tracing along the skin there as Elsbeth Corvin went about adjusting her daughter's collar and tucking away a single stray hair into one of the many pins holding the up do together. The touch sent a shiver down Cordelia's spine, causing her posture to straighten tighter if that was even possible.

"What is wrong with you, Cordelia, do fix your expression before we enter the chapel." The coldness in her mother's voice mirrored that of her chilling grasp as her hands took hold to both of Cordelia's arms as she leaned around her daughter to meet their gazes in the reflection of the mirror before them.

Mother, I don't want to do this. Don't make me do this!

These were things and thoughts perhaps another woman in her position would be spewing, reaching for a way out of the current situation she found herself in. Not Cordelia, however. Instead, she was calm, eerily so, poised even. And as she flicked her gaze toward her mother's reflection in the mirror, her lips twitching at the corner to offer the slightest of smiles. "No worries, mother, I'm simply ensuring I don't smudge." She lifts a hand, fingertips hovering over her lips to gesture to her makeup.

Elsbeth smiled, nodding in approval of her daughter's response. She gave a gentle squeeze to her arms before releasing them. "Very good, dear. We are all very proud of you and with all the preparation that has gone into this arrangement, your father and I are expecting a lot of you."

The words hadn't needed to be said, it was a fact that Cordelia had already known. From the time she was old enough to understand the concepts of marriage and duty, she was taught and guided on what was to be expected of her when she came of age. It had been a few years past that when she actually agreed to courtships and suitors, none of which really caught her eye but then again, she never truly had expected them to. Though despite this, she had still been somewhat disappointed when Ambrose Gray came into the picture and somehow turned all the plans that were already set in motion toward him.

Now she had a new plan, a new goal. Survive this marriage long enough to get everything she had wanted. The rest would come in time.

And I’m kind of glad I found someone who didn’t play the previous build! Corvin used to be the love interest in the game when it used to be called Shadowdrop, but when I decided to revamp it into MAS, I remade him into Orion! But since so many people loved Corvin so much I decided that both Orion and Corvin could exist in the same universe. It makes sense story wise and it’s not like they’ll ever meet, they’re pretty far from each other!

Elsie is a romantic at heart. She also has very little (haha...none...) romantic experience. So when she first meets Sebastian and he's being his charming self, her brain is like, "Boy? Cute boy? Cute boy attention?" Only to be immediately followed by, "BAD! BAD THOUGHTS!"

She's going to have to wrestle with her feelings for a hot minute before she's ready to enter an actual relationship. 😅 She's pretty much the reason why the slow burn is burning slowly.

When Elsie was younger, she wasn't allowed out of the house much. Instead, her brother would help sneak her out to play. She wasn't very good at sports, but she was just happy to be included (until she got caught at least haha). Elsie remembers these moments as being her happiest memories from childhood before her magic manifested.

Elsie isn't very graceful. She's not quite a klutz, but she gets fixated on something and doesn't pay attention to where she's going. At first, she comes off aloof and defensive, but once she's more comfortable with herself and realizes that not everyone is out to judge her, she becomes quite the yapper to the people she's close with.

She likes to read, both stories and for learning. When she finds out she has magic, she wants to absorb every ounce of information she can to catch up and because she finds it fascinating. She also becomes very interested in dueling, though for her it's more about studying an art form and learning to defend herself rather than to pick fights with people.

They are also, like, my emergency contact, so... What's your name again??” Hopefully, their sheepish flush isn't misinterpreted as a blush. It was an accident! They are going to tell you once you come back and/or rescue them.

S: “I’ll pass, but thanks.” Polite, nonchalance helps to soften S's rejection, although any persistence/insistence from their admirer will cause S's sharp wit to leave a mark. They will likely try to create some distance after that answer, walking away or going back to reading, etc.

R: “483-003-21—My partner will kill you." 🥴 No hesitation with shutting the person down with a slightly playful edge to it. Yes, they would say this even about the sweetest and shyest MC just to make it clear that they aren't available or interested. R doesn't understand how the person missed the hint from earlier, but they are willing to remind them. 

J: “...I don't have a phone.” 😐 Very calm, possibly too calm, and neutral. Before the person could even ask for their number, J was starting to look for you since they lost interest while still not yet cluing into their admirer's infatuation with them. If the person insists, J leaves. They don't have time for this and would much prefer finding you again. (Also, yeah, J has a phone, only very few people know their number.) 

Mal: “Now why would you want my number when your phone's broken?” The admirer might grow confused, lighting up the screen of their phone to prove a point, just in time to see Mal's polished smile turn sharper. They get the hint and back off, possibly backing away. Zero tolerance from Mal, especially since this person must have timed asking them this question given how busy our enigmatic server can be.
