Meet: @crowmoonkitchen & his SPECIAL WLMEETUP CHICAGOLAND ANNOUNCEMENT: Being a part of @wlstories and the weight loss community has helped me to stay on track with my near 200 pound weight loss. My journey started in 2014 with the birth of my son. Over the years I've made food a priority and have been focused on helping others find joy in the kitchen! CrowMoonKitchen has been a labor of love and I've learned much about health, wellness, and myself. It's never too late to start! I've made many friendships in this community. A few months ago @keepingitawesomejake @the_new_heidi @mybizzykitchen and I had a 4 hour brunch. We had never met before but it was such a good experience that Heidi and I decided we needed to organize a meet-up. I mentioned this to @wlstories and Keith being Keith is making it EPIC! I used food as an emotional escape and at close to 400 pounds doctors were warning me I was eating myself to death. When my son was born I decided I needed to make a change. I wasn't able to be the dad I wanted to be. I logged my food with @loseitapp and lost nearly 200 pounds. I've kept it off for 2 years by staying active, eating consciously, and keeping a positive mindset. Starting tip: take each day at a time. Before I started my weight loss journey I visited the Colorado sand dunes with the hopes of getting a great picture at the peak. But it was too hard, I was too unhealthy, I gave up and turned around not even half way. This past May, not only did I make it to the peak, I podcasted at the top...while it was snowing. Deleted sweatcoin and installed #winwalk just to see which one I liked more.
