@evilminji recently made a Post about DP x MHA and I'm in love with the idea of those 2 fandoms together. (I'm gonna tag this dpxdc just to spread it around but there won't be much dc in it. Maybe a few crumbs here and there)

So! Quirks came into existence the same day Danny became a Halfa. He wasn't directly responsible for it, but when the Portal opened it released a truly Massive amount of Ectoplasm into the world at large. The Dr's Fenton didn't notice it at first, because Amity Park had always had that level of Ectoplasm and all of their Sensors were within the City Limits.

The Ectoplasm released onto the world quickly and integrated with multiple Humans across the Planet, and eventually enough Ectoplasm gathered in a single Human to form the first Proto-Core, aka Quirk. That human was the Glowing Baby.

This phenomenon spread across the world as the situation in Amity Park devolved. The GIW knew for certain that these "Meta Abilities" were the result of Ectoplasm Contamination, and doubled down on Amity Park to try and fruitless contain the spread. Not that it would have worked, the Portal opening had sent a Shockwave across the fabric of Reality, creating mini-portals that continued to feed Ectoplasm to the Earth.

Eventually the day came when Amtiy Park was Evacuated from the Mortal Realm by Clockwork for it's own Protection. It's disappearance was blamed on a newly awakened Quirk destroying the entire Town, which was used to feed the flames of hatred in the Early Dawn Era.

Then one day, Amity Park returns. In Japan of all places.

Clockwork had dragged the entire Town through Time, to an Era that would accept their abilities. It was placed in the countryside of Japan. Clockwork had considered putting them in a dimension of Heroes, bur decided that would like to stay in their home dimension for now.

Thats the basic world building, but there are other parts we can expand upon in this AU

For Example, OFA and AFO

All for One was the first True Core in the 1st Gen of Quirks, but he was born with a Defect that made him unable to generate his own Ectoplasm. He felt a Hunger that could never be satiated, and eventually found a way to feed that hunger by absorbing the Proto-Cores of other people into his own True Core, stealing their Quirks.

One For All was the Opposite, born as an empty True Core but without the insatiable Hunger that his brother had. Then AFO force fed him a Stockpile Core and it fused with his own, giving him the power to Generate and Stockpile his own Ectoplasm.

He also had the power to Pass On his Core to another Body, basically just passing on his power. Then his Successor did the same, and their successor, and their Successor. Eventually we reach the 9th Holder of OFA, and the Singularity.

In this world, the Quirk Singularity isn't just an event where Quirks grow too powerful for their Bodies to handle, it is an event where the Proto-Cores of Quirk Users experience an Apotheosis, and change from Proto to True Cores. True Cores which the Human Body can't handle having.

But it's different for OFA. It was a True Core from the beginning, born within a Human Body, and it has the power of 6 other Proto-Cores within itself all ready to Apotheosis into True Cores themselves. When OFA is passed onto zuku Midoriya, it floods him with 7 Cores worth of Ectoplasm, and turns him into a Halfa.

When Danny and the rest if Amity Park reappear in Japan, they find not only a world populated by mostly Liminal Humans, but also a Powerful Halfa who doesn't even know he is a Halfa. Maybe even 2 if All Might also experienced the same Apotheosis?

There's a lot of Danny and Izuku on my dash so I decided to combine them. I think it'd make a really fun Au. Kinda half assed the design tho...

To most people he's just some kid who goes to U.A's general studies course and gets bullied pretty often. Little so they know he fights ghost as a phantom and protects the city from things the heros can't normally see. He can also see OFA's past vistages and talks to them frequently. Eventually Principal Nedzu finds out and shoves him into 1-A.

My favorite genre of character is “protagonist who suffers immense tragedy but still finds a way to authentically feel and be a better person at the end of the day”.

1.) It’s admirable. I don’t like cynical or mean characters, even if the cynicism/meanness is just, because I don’t like it when I respond that way. I find it so honorable to be able to experience hardship, cry a little, then put on a brave face and do your best anyways.

2.) I like torturing characters, partially because it’s oddly cathartic and also because more instances of tragedy allow for the characteristics in point 1 to be more prominent. It’s not quite as impressive that your character continues to smile if they’ve had a good life.

3.) When these characters DO have their snapping moment, it is the BEST. You can’t overdo this or else the character just becomes another mean/jaded guy, but give them one moment to lose their positivity in the face of hardship? To genuinely become mean, or even better, depressed? Oh my god. The angst. The potential. The drama. And then in the aftermath, these characters can once again reflect on their poor decisions or vulnerable sense of self, and in that moment choose to reclaim the genuine good they hold in their heart, thereby reaffirming point 1 again. Lordy I could cry.

Anyways you all can have your 24/7 angst machines and edgelords. Keep the prickly assholes. The kind protagonists are mine.

dp type shiii au 

izuku gets turned into a halfa during his second year of middle school.

he's read online about an abandoned clinic that has a lot of rumors circulating around it. he goes to check it out and there he finds a hidden door/level with a weird huge metal ring built into a wall, like a sci-fi portal. he sees a white hazmat suit and (while ditching the helmet) puts it on and goes inside to check the peculiar contraption (like a dumbass). 

cue the dp opening theme. 

he's pale as a ghost (haha), his black with streaks of green hair are now white as snow and the dark green is much much brighter (is it glowing?), his eyes are also the most toxic green izuku has ever seen. 

he gains ghost powers 

ghosts start coming into the human world and izuku helps them get back to the ghost zone (by fighting them ofc)

izuku protects humans but his obsession forms around kacchan

he's OBSESSED (katsuki finds it hot don't tell anybody)

his morality starts shifting into ghost aren't bad-they need protection-humans are violent-the worlds need to be separated-izuku is going to be the guardian of the ghosts-kacchan is the main priority over anything

izuku forms a certain hierarchy :

protecting and helping humans

his core turns out to be an electricity core. it gives him electrokinesis and also allows him to go extremely fast. (the overall powers are that of dp so ghostly wail, ectoblasts, intangibility yada yada yada)

he becomes the high king of the infinite realms during his third year after defeating the previous king, gives kacchan the king's consort's earrings (promise ring lmao), enrolls in ua with a speed quirk, causes chaos, prioritizes ghosts, helps the humans when kacchan asks. 

afo is supposed to be dead and but escaped the ghost zone 5 years ago so when izuku sees him in kamino he takes him 'under his jurisdiction' (almight is confused)

Jazz (Danny Phantom) x Raph (ROTTMNT) (Tough Cookie & Smart Cookie): This ship came to me after my friend and I made our Scott Pilgrim AU. They're both older siblings who just want the best for their younger siblings. They understand each other's pain.

Daisy Duck x Cruella (Cruaisy): I started shipping them years ago when I watched this Disney short called Electric Holiday. I've made a couple AUs where Daisy works for Cruella in the fashion industry, and they become close friends and lovers in a May-December relationship. 

Tom (Tom & Jerry) x Bright Eyes (Pound Puppies Season 1): I like to headcanon that Tom and Bright Eyes are childhood friends to lovers. I explain it more in this post here.

Frank Wolff (Jungle Cruise) x Jack Sparrow (TPOTC) (SparrowWolf/WolfSparrow): I don't really ship characters from live-action movies and shows, but Disney Mirrorverse got me to ship these two goofballs.

Cinderella x Gojo (JJK) (Gojoella): Don't get me wrong. I love Sukuella, but I solely blame @peachudumplings for giving me Fairy-God-Gojo, and thus I ship Cinderella and Gojo too, lol.

I love imagining swapping the protagonists of totally incompatable shows.

Aang from Avatar the last airbender and Danny Phantom.

Aang sets up a therapy program for ghosts so they can talk out their problems without the need for excess violence. He and Sam get along very well, as they have many ideals in common. He and Tucker also get along well, because Tucker reminds him of Sokka. Aang is essentially on vacation from being the avatar for a bit.

Danny feels obligated to do Aang's job, since he's the reason Aang isn't here. But unfortunately, ghost powers and bending aren't very similar. He can mostly do the bridge-to-the-spirit-world job since he's a half-ghost anyway, and he has a ton of fun fighting Zuko. But an entire army is a little out of his ability. Mostly he's fine until they get to book 3 stuff.

Izuku shows up in Phoenix Drop with no idea what's going on, but he gets the scoop pretty quickly. Suddenly their Zane problems go from 'insurmountable' to 'yeah, Midoriya can take care of that in a couple of weeks'.

Meanwhile, Aphmau gets to spend some time in an enviorment where there are people already used to dealing with young people who have no idea how to control their powers, and she gets some time to actually practice with competant teachers.

Raphael x Loona propaganda: I’m writing this TMNT x Helluva Boss crossover fic where the two are paired up with each other and I originally considered ship-teasing them as a joke and a reference to how Raphael had a few anthro canine love interests in the past (Ninjara and Mezcaal in the Archie comics, Alopex in the IDW comics), but some reviews thought they’d make a cute couple and I started agreeing with them.
