A couple things about the aftermath of Project Thunder:
-The CCC had to replace Juliano and the retaken worlds with backup data to keep Connected Cosmos functional. This means the Rising Star Circus crew now has a non-living npc version of Juliano to deal with on top of coping with the fact that they're trapped here.
-While the memories of the stolen worlds' inhabitants were restored and the Twilight purged, the worlds themselves weren't restored to their original state. So they still need to repair the damage and deal with the three-ish month timeskip that CC:TG's lore caused.
-Said timeskip means that Tulip is now 18. She doesn't know how to feel about that.
-SMG7 is, in fact, now paralyzed from the waist down. As soon as Tulip finds out about this she immediately starts building her the most kickass wheelchair possible (which considering her skills will be pretty damn kickass), and making the Van and the mansion (the latter of which needed work anyway between Reboot Saiko's attack and the Twilight apocalypse) wheelchair accessible. 7's actually pretty excited about it, though she's made it very clear that that's as far as Tulip's help should go. She's specifically banned whatever cybernetics Tulip might be thinking of.
Look, don't get her wrong. She loves Tulip. She trusts Tulip. But nobody besides Tulip will know how to install the robo-spine-whatever and she is not letting a teenage insomniac mad scientist with 4 IQ and no medical license operate on her no matter how cool the inevitable superpowers would be.
-Ash manages to get a dedicated projector for Alice (her body is technically a hologram, and Tulip's phone both can't actually project holograms (which makes her less durable) and probably isn't sturdy enough to withstand hits strong enough to knock Alice out. Said projector is a little blue pin shaped like a cat head that Tulip sticks onto her jacket when Alice isn't using it.
-Thankfully there aren't any custody issues over Tama. She'll still be living in Luminos Castle with her new family and Blotch will still be living with Overseer, just now that she knows where Tama is (and that she's alive) she'll be visiting a lot. She's not calling Nimbus "mom" though. Among other reasons they're too close in age for it to not be weird.
-Due to everything that happened, Renata and Sleeping Gaia are now well aware of the Digital Multiverse, and given that they found out in pretty much the worst, most confusing way possible everyone's got a lot of explaining to do.
-Mira now knows about her true origins and is having an existential crisis. To make matters worse, while they were able to purge the Twilit Corruption from her the ordeal activated the long-dormant data of the Werehog transformation, so she now has to deal with that every night.
-Steve, Welony and Bob are working on a new scarecrow body for Rob.
-CPU looks upon this absolute trainwreck and decides that all of them (or at least as many as logistically possible), need a fucking vacation. And fortunately, while it'll take a couple weeks to get things set up, there's a certain resort-owning Admin who owes him and Vitality several favors.
-Speaking of Vitality, she's still in a coma. Though when Kelsie checks on her (after dealing with all the wounded from the battle, of course. Swag makes for a lousy patient, especially when he's told he won't get to keep his crazy god powers) she notes that her recovery has accelerated slightly.

What is Google’s Project Nimbus and why is it controversial?
Google’s Project Nimbus is a cloud computing contract that Google and Amazon signed with the Israeli government in April 2021. With a hefty price tag of $1.2 billion, this collaboration between tech behemoths and the Israeli government was poised to revolutionize the way data is stored and processed. But not all is sunny with Project Nimbus; it’s a project that has become as controversial as it…

Google's Controversial Involvement in Project Nimbus with the Israeli Government
Google’s Involvement in Project Nimbus In May 2021, Google announced its participation in a substantial $1.2 billion cloud computing contract with the Israeli government and military, expressing its enthusiasm by stating it was “delighted to have been chosen to help digitally transform” the nation. However, internal documents obtained by The New York Times reveal that just four months prior,…

Counting the # of times each R&M character sits in each chair around the dining table
I've always found it funny that the whole family is always sitting in different chairs around the dining table (my family, and I'm sure many others, have unofficial 'assigned' seats at the table), so on my latest rewatch of the show, I kept track of the number of times each character sat in each particular chair. (Please keep in mind that while I tried my hardest to count every single time and record them as accurately as I could, it's entirely possible I made mistakes/mixed something up).
Firstly, this is how I numbered the chairs:
Most common chair everyone sat in:
Jerry: Seat #1 (17 times)
Morty: Seat #2 (14 times)
Space Beth: Seat #2 (5 times)
Rick: Seat #4 (10 times)
Beth: Seat #4 (15 times)
Summer: Seat #6 (17 times)
Chart of the Total Counts:
Important Note:
Sometimes there's only one seat on the side facing the window, so for consistency it is counted as #6.
When there are three seats on the 2-3 side, the middle seat is counted as #3.
More statistics/notes are listed below!
Additional characters:
Leonard sat in seat #2, Joyce in seat #3, and Jacob in seat #5 one time (Anatomy Park)
Uncle Steve (parasite) sat in seat #4 one time (Total Rickall)
Mr. Poopybutthole sat in seat #6 one time (Total Rickall)
The President sat in seat #1 one time (Thanksploitation Spectacular)
Misc. Notes
In Rattlestar Ricklatica: Rick (seat 4), Morty (seat 3), & Summer (seat 5) are sitting at the table playing downbeat. This is included in misc. count, since it doesn't fall under the breakfast/dinner categories.
Mr. Nimbus sits in seat 4 (?) and Rick in seat 1 (?) during Mort Dinner Rick Andre; it’s difficult to tell though since the table is facing a different direction (these are not included in the total count).
Unnamed girl from Vat of Acid montage sat in seat #3 once. The chairs the rest of the family sat in during this scene is counted under the misc. category, since once again, it wasn't during a meal but they were still sitting around the table.
I made note of the decoy families during Mortyplicity, but these are not included in the total counts:
Decoy family #1: Morty: #2, Rick: #3, Beth: #4, Summer: #5 Decoy family #2: Summer: #2, Beth: #3, Rick: #4, Jerry: #5, Morty: #6 Decoy family #3: Morty: #2, Summer: #5, Beth: #6
The family from Jerry’s original dimension at the end of Solaricks is included in the total, as well as the one scene from when Morty was in the Fear Hole and they were all eating breakfast. (Generally, I included alternate families, flashbacks, montages, etc. in the total count if it was shown on-screen for more than a couple seconds, otherwise I'd make note of it seperately.)
There are several flashbacks in Unmortricken when Evil Rick and Morty show up in random homes while the family is seated around the table, shooting Rick and tranquilizing Morty. I didn't include these in the total, but listed them here:
Normal alt. dimension: Jerry: #1, Morty: #2, Rick: #3, Beth: #4, Summer: #6 Victorian dimension: Jerry: #1, Summer: #3, Beth: #4, Morty: #5, Rick: #6 Long sleeves dimension: Rick: #2, Morty: #3 (others can't be seen)
Rick and Morty eating burritos at the table in Rickfending Your Mort is counted under misc. since again, it's not breakfast or dinner.
Note about seat numbers:
This is already mentioned above, but sometimes certain seats are missing or there are extra seats; generally, this is when Space Beth is there, and there are three seats on one side. Sometimes, there is only one seat on the side facing the window.
For example, in the following scene, I counted both Beth and Summer as seat #3 because there are 3 seats on that side temporarily. There was one other case where this happened, and I did the same then as well.
Heres a photo of one of the most common seating arrangements I noticed (excluding Space Beth):
Well, thats all I have! Hope you guys found this data at least a little interesting! :)

New Ghoulette Survey
I ran a survey that asked users to report what name they have been calling the new ghoulette, and to also rate the names people have been using. I received 204 responses to my form, and gathered 6 responses from discord (with no ratings). I am no longer collecting responses. I will also discuss issues with the survey, and share the raw numbers if anyone would like to see them.
This is a chart showing the percentage of people who are using which names.
I believe the "Other" category only had two repeat names, Vesper (3) and Nimbus (2). Some responses were not counted towards this chart, as some submissions chose "other" and filled in some variation of "I don't know." Haze holds the highest usage vote.
More under the cut.
The names were rated on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being "favorite" and 5 being "least favorite." The overall name ratings, from most to least favored, are as follows:
Tempest (2.68)
Haze (2.79)
Solaris (2.82)
Umbra (3.09)
Other (3.55)
This chart breaks down the ratings by name choice.
Again, a lower score is preferable. However, you may notice that for Umbra and Other, the least favored options are... Umbra and Other.
There were quite a few instances where a submission would vote for a name, and then rate it as a "5." I believe these responses to be mistakes, however I have no way of being certain. None of those responses were removed or edited. I made multiple posts to try and reach people and let them know they can change their response if they answered in error, and there were plenty of people who did, but of course I can't reach everyone. For this reason, I can not say that this data is reliable. If there is any interest, I would like to run another survey that may get more accurate results.
Another mistake I made is with the last question on the survey. It didn't occur to me at the time that it would be valuable data to require people to tell me where they found this survey, nor did I think to make it a multiple choice question. Because of this, I had plenty of people choose not to respond and... a lot of people who just used it to say whatever they wanted.
On that note, I did try to eliminate bias in a few ways. I know that I have very strong opinions, and some degree of influence, within my social sphere on Tumblr. I tried to increase the reach of this survey by posting to as many ghost tags as possible, but I also posted it to places that I do not have an active presence in. This includes discord servers that I "lurk" in, like the official ghost discord, and also bluesky (which I only occasionally open). Because I did not gather any worthwhile data on how people found my survey, I can't say much on how well it managed to exit my sphere of influence.
If you would like to see all the numbers yourself, and possibly correct me on anything (as I am human, I make mistakes, and I am by no means a statistician) then you can see the google sheets here.
Thank you to everyone who responded and helped share my survey! I love numbers.

"Microsoft, Amazon and Google among major corporations identified as being part of a “joint criminal enterprise” in helping Israel carry out a genocide in Gaza. The companies have made unprecedented profits from the slaughter of more than 62,000 Palestinians since October 2023.
In a landmark report released on 30 June, UN special rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories Francesca Albanese exposes the corporate machinery both sustaining and profiting from Israel’s occupation and apartheid in Gaza and the West Bank – and now its ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The report – entitled “From economy of occupation to economy of genocide” – identifies 48 separate corporate actors in sectors including, arms, tech, construction, tourism, energy, finance, academia and agriculture. According to the report, they represent only the “tip of the iceberg” as the broader web of corporate complicity is far larger.
It outlines how tech giants Microsoft, Alphabet (parent company of Google) and Amazon grant Israel access to their cloud and AI technologies, enhancing the Israeli government’s ability to process data, make decisions and conduct surveillance and analysis.
Israel’s apartheid and military systems require ever-growing cloud storage and computing capacity. To meet these needs, the Israeli government and military’s cloud computing project – known as Project Nimbus – brought Google and Amazon onboard with a $1.2bn contract in 2021.

When the Israeli internal military cloud overloaded in October 2023, Microsoft, Google and Amazon stepped in to provide crucial cloud and AI tech. IDF computer chief Col. Racheli Dembinsky recently described cloud tech as part of “a collection of systems with which the IDF fights to the end”, citing these companies in her onscreen presentation. Dembinsky said: “You have to understand that it’s a platform that’s a weapon.”
What’s more, Microsoft, Amazon and Google have established research and development (R&D) hubs and local data centres in Israel, while they enjoy what the report describes as “unprecedented government-granted access to data and a captive population”. According to Albanese’s report, this has helped unleash “the first AI-driven and livestreamed genocide, while providing the data sovereignty to shield impunity”.
Microsoft reported $70bn in sales and an 18% increase in profits in the first quarter of 2025, boosted by its cloud computing and artificial intelligence business. In the fourth quarter of 2024, Google Cloud revenues increased 30% to $12bn led by growth across core Google Cloud Platform products, AI Infrastructure, and generative AI solutions, while Amazon Web Services segment sales increased 19% to over $28bn.
The report states: “[Israel’s] forever-occupation has become the ideal testing ground for arms manufacturers and big tech – providing significant supply and demand, little oversight, and zero accountability – while investors and private and public institutions profit freely.” ...

"No Tech for Apartheid’s protest is as much about what the public doesn’t know about Project Nimbus as what it does. The contract is for Google and Amazon to provide AI and cloud computing services to the Israeli government and military, according to the Israeli finance ministry, which announced the deal in 2021.
Nimbus reportedly involves Google establishing a secure instance of Google Cloud on Israeli soil, which would allow the Israeli government to perform large-scale data analysis, AI training, database hosting, and other forms of powerful computing using Google’s technology, with little oversight by the company.
Google documents, first reported by the Intercept in 2022, suggest that the Google services on offer to Israel via its Cloud have capabilities such as AI-enabled facial detection, automated image categorization, and object tracking."

this one isn't good or plot-relevant enough to qualify for a B-side but there are cloud boy and/or chamomile sickos on this website so I am poasting for the delectation of @bee-dazzle @river-oceanus @namidragons @penguin--person @wilting-fl0wer @vertumnanaturalis. here's Cirrus being awkward, Expeditions boy scrungling hours, some light toilet humour.
Cirrus banks, circling around to touch down in the clearing, kicking up dust as he lands. It’s a nice day, or at least he thinks so – cool and crisp and sunny, everything dusted with spark-snow.
He has a pack full of weird little instruments, and he’s meant to be gathering data under the auspices of two more senior surveyors. He can see Verbena, tying up his lilac dreadlocks, but the other surveyor is– Oh. It’s Chamomile.
He’s in his mid-forties, maybe – well. Not maybe, Cirrus knows Chamomile is almost exactly thirty years older than him, so he’s forty-five, nearly forty-six. He makes maps, overseeing the gathering of survey information and then doing mysterious, arcane things to it that result in maps.
Additionally, Chamomile is his biological father. He knows this, because when Stratus asked Mom if they had another parent, Anne had smiled gently and said my friend Miles knew I wanted children, so he agreed to help me even though he didn’t want to be a parent himself, because he knew how badly I wanted you. And that’s kind of a sweet story, but it’s a little different when you’re face to face with a whole adult who contributed half your genes but who you don’t really know.
Chamomile is tall and rangy, with a short beard and a mane of auburn shoulder-length curls that Cirrus deeply envies, pulled back into a half-up with a clip. His arms are bare despite the chill of Early Quiet, exposing a tattoo of an hourglass-shaped terrarium in the process of being breached by the plants growing inside, and a band of the same floral motif he’s seen on his mother’s leg wound around the opposite forearm.
Cirrus has never really spoken to Chamomile except in passing, outside of a message once a year on his birthday that he never quite knows how to respond to. He’ll get another one in ten days, and he’ll tap out an awkward response, and then that’ll be it for another year. Sometimes Chamomile catches Cirrus looking at him, but he always looks away before he can see what the reaction is.
It’s stupid. There are plenty of kids who have donor parents, or who were creche-raised. It’s just gametes, you don’t have to have a relationship with someone just because you’re related. They can be just another adult.
But Cirrus is so curious. He has a lot of questions, like how did you and Mom become friends and why did you decide to help her have like one billion kids and so cartography huh what do you do for fun. When he looks at Chamomile, he sees strange fragments of his brothers and sister – the gap between Anemone’s teeth, Nimbus’s straight dark brows, the rangy build he sees echoed at a smaller scale in his identical brothers and in the mirror.
His job today is to collect information about topography, under supervision. He doesn’t really need the supervision, but he’s fifteen and the instruments they use to take snapshots of the landscape are fragile, so they only get taken out with a senior surveyor.
“Watch your step,” Verbena calls out, “the ground’s not super stable.”
“I don’t recommend falling off a cliff,” Chamomile replies, “it’s a miracle my knees still work properly.”
Verbena laughs, a grid briefly appearing on the ground underneath him followed by a beep. “You should consider not falling off a cliff, old man.”
“You should consider jumping off one, squirt,” Chamomile replies, with a flicker of a smile. Cirrus keeps his head down. A grid flashes underfoot. Beep. Another flash. Beep.
Chamomile and Verbena leave him to it, and they don’t talk any further. Cirrus watches the grid distort over uneven ground, including the edge dropping down a steep cliff. Beep.
“Hydration break,” Verbena says after a while, “Rus, do you want something to eat?”
“I’ve got like…soysweets in my bag,” Cirrus replies, a little uncertainly. He’d made the soysweets himself the previous day, and he can’t tell if Verbena is offering to share food or not. He likes Verbena – Verbena is about seven years older than him, but always treats him like he’s smart enough to make his own calls. Also, Cirrus likes looking at cute older boys, sue him.
“I have trail mix,” Verbena grins, displaying a row of needle-sharp teeth, “and Miles has mushroom jerky and these like…cheesy things, and a thermos of blep. Do you want to pool snacks?”
Cirrus considers the likely consequences of eating a whole packet of soysweets (a terrible sugar crash later) and nods, sitting. “They’re salty caramel ones,” he says, “at least in theory, this batch didn’t turn out very salty but they're still good. I’ll add more salt next time, I just didn’t want to overdo it.”
Chamomile’s head turns abruptly, giving Cirrus an appraising look. “You make soysweets?” he asks, one eyebrow lifting.
“Uh, yeah,” Cirrus curses how easily and visibly he blushes, digging out his packet of squashed soysweets, “I’m not as good a cook as Milly, but I’m pretty good at sweets. I can bake, too, just…not so often.”
“Shoot,” Verbena says, impressed, “hidden talents! Why are you out here getting all dusty instead of making treats, then?”
Cirrus mulls this over for a moment. “I like being outside,” he shrugs, “and collecting the data is fun. I’d go crazy cooped up in the Quarters all the time.”
Chamomile smiles, pulling out a sectioned container containing mushroom jerky and what turn out to be weird savoury cookies, while Verbena produces a bag of trail mix, and the three men sit down for one of the weirder meals Cirrus has participated in.
“The soysweets are good,” Chamomile says after a pause, “thank you for sharing.”
“No trouble,” Cirrus replies, through a mouthful of jerky, “the merits of an all-soysweet diet are…well, there aren’t any.”
Chamomile’s violet eyes crinkle at the corners. It’s a new expression on him. “Is this personal experience?”
Cirrus snorts. “Personal experience with Cumulus destroying the bathroom, more like.”
“Oh no,” Chamomile sighs, while next to him Verbena flops on his back on the ground and howls, “he didn’t. He seems like such a sensible kid…”
“The wisdom of experience,” Cirrus says sagely, and a wry grin flashes briefly across Chamomile’s face. Verbena convulses in a fresh wave of mirth, gasping for air. Cirrus finds himself matching Chamomile’s grin with a less certain one of his own.
The afternoon is uneventful. They’re taking a bunch of snapshots of some cliffs in the Prosaic Plains that will later be reconstructed into a more detailed topographical map. Cirrus takes a break to reapply sunscreen – you only need to burn your ears once before you get very diligent indeed – and realises that while he’s been distracted, Chamomile has wandered up to him, drinking tea out of a flask.
“Good work today,” Chamomile says, without preamble, “we’ll be heading home soon. How are you holding up?”
Cirrus finishes rubbing sunscreen into the back of his neck. He doesn’t know how to deal with this, at all, and he has to say something or he’ll explode. “You don’t have to make a fuss of me because I’m your kid,” he says eventually, “it’s not…you don’t need to.”
Silence. Cirrus looks at the ground. “That would be overstepping,” Chamomile replies, sounding if anything a little amused, “I’m checking in as the supervising Surveyor on this expedition, not because we’re related.”
A humiliated flush rises up from the collar of Cirrus’s shirt to colonise his whole face. “Ah,” he says, a little strangled, still looking at the ground, “I’m. I’m fine. That was…really presumptuous of me.”
“You are,” Chamomile adds, “perfectly welcome to speak to me outside of work. But I am never going to presume a relationship you don’t want to have with me.”
Cirrus takes a long moment to digest this idea. “Okay,” he says, “cool. Glad we sorted that out.”
He ventures a glance up at Chamomile, who is regarding him curiously. “I do have questions,” Cirrus blurts out, “but like, not now?”
Chamomile’s mouth tugs up at the corners. “I will answer them to the best of my ability,” he replies, and his tone is very solemn, but there’s a glitter in his eyes Cirrus realises is humour. Then he leaves, wandering off to wave down Verbena.
Later, Cirrus touches down outside the colony and signs his glider back in. It’s still early, which is the payoff for getting up at the ass-crack of dawn, and he’s contemplating a nap when he realises someone has fallen into step next to him.
“Chamomile,” he acknowledges, “hi.”
“That’s Miles to you,” Miles says, “any of those questions done cooking?”
Cirrus reaches for the absolute pile of questions he has and comes up with all the most inane shit possible, like so what made you want to fuck about with little instruments all day and what do you do for fun and what music do you like. “Honestly all I can come up with right now,” he wrinkles his nose, “is that I’m mad I didn’t get straight or curly hair. Just, frizz.”
“That’s not a question,” Miles replies, a little ruefully, “but you should consider talking to Anemone. I think Kom taught her how to look after her hair.”
A knife permanently embedded in Cirrus’ heart twists at the thought of his elder sister. “Anemone is basically a Helio now,” he says, unable to keep the bitterness out of his voice (she agrees with the ones that bully you she thinks less of you) “she doesn’t…talk to us.”
Miles is silent. Cirrus sneaks a glance at him out of the corner of his eye and sees him scratching his chin, gaze distant.
“Your hair is likely also curly or wavy,” Miles offers, after a long pause, “I would suggest washing it less often and using your fingers to detangle rather than brushing, and you may see an improvement over time. Worth a try.”
Cirrus frowns. He needs to wash his hair daily, or it turns into an oil slick at the roots and a frizzy mess everywhere else. “Huh. I mean, okay. I’ll try that? I’m gonna go take a nap now, I’m going to watch a movie with friends at Rex’s bar later.”
“I won’t keep you,” Miles says amiably, “enjoy your movie.”
With a nod and a wave, Cirrus peels off towards the Living Quarters, chewing his lower lip. He had a conversation with Miles. It was pretty normal. It was kind of nice. Miles is nice. His mother is nice, but it’s the kind of nice where he’s always going to be her baby. He’s fifteen. He’s not anyone’s baby these days, not when at his age his sister was already a soldier risking her life for the colony.
-I am never going to presume a relationship you don’t want to have with me-
It hadn’t occurred to him, that he might get to choose. It’s a nice feeling. Biology isn’t destiny or a guarantee, he can choose. And the minute he thinks it, it feels stupidly obvious. His brothers are his identical triplets, but they’ve chosen to be very different people and also turned around to choose to be best friends, to choose Nimbus above and beyond the circumstances of their birth.
Anemone has chosen the Heliopause, and her soldier boyfriend, and he’ll resent it but he’ll have to live with it. Miles has chosen to say this is your decision, and Cirrus likes him more for it.

A gigantic list of the maximum possible War Asset value and how you'd get them. Yes, I know it's cluttered and inconsistent and I maybe did the math wrong or missed an asset entirely but shut up its 4:25 AM rn
FLAT VALUES WITHOUT PENALTIES
AVAILABLE REGARDLESS OF CHOICES
(Can be lost by not completing the requisite quests before certain points, generally do these as soon as you can so you don’t risk them being locked later - Choosing not to do any of these is not considered a choice for the sake of this list - Some may require a choice to be made, but the alternative would be zero assets) (Note: Whichever reputation check answer you give during one of Diana Allers’s interviews will add 5 points to one of your assets. For the sake of this list, whichever asset is seen first in the list gets the bonus 5, but it really doesn’t matter, it all adds to the same final value if they do them.)

On Monday, a brave Google Cloud engineer spoke up against the corporation’s complicity in Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people. A video of the worker standing up for their rights went viral, with some reposts reaching up to 8 million views and generating widespread global support, including from Palestinians in Gaza. Three days later, Google fired this worker.
Google has engaged in a clear cut act of retaliation against its own worker for speaking up about the terms and conditions of their labor.
This is the first immediate firing of a worker after a public, brave act of employee dissent against Project Nimbus, Google and Amazon’s shared $1.2 billion contract with the Israeli military and government. This is the second worker associated with the No Tech For Apartheid campaign that Google has retaliated against for organizing within their workplace, and the latest in a series of cases in which Google has retaliated against workers for speaking up about the corporation’s ethical malpractice in a range of business decisions.
While touting the importance of “democratic values” in the workplace, Google is shutting down free speech and silencing debate and dissent among workers within the company.
Google’s aims are clear: The corporation is trying to silence workers to hide their moral failings. Google is enabling the world’s first AI-powered genocide through Project Nimbus. Through this contract, Google and Amazon are aiding and abetting the Israeli apartheid state and genocidal campaign in Gaza against Palestinians. Instead of cleaning up its own house, and dropping its contract with a genocidal regime, Google is punching down on its own workers. For almost three years, thousands of Google & Amazon workers have organized against the companies’ contracts with the Israeli government and military, with no response from management or executives.
As a Cloud Software Engineer on critical technology that enables Project Nimbus to run on sovereign Israeli data centers, this worker spoke from a place of deep personal concern about the direct, violent impacts of their labor. They spoke from a deep belief that truly ethical engineering must account for the impact on communities around the world.
While terminating this brave worker, Google HR asked how they were feeling. The worker replied: “proud to be fired for refusing to be complicit in genocide.”

Final Veil Log!
Osiris: I've reached the extent of what I can glean from the research data. Nimbus: What've we got? Osiris: Less than I'd hoped for. But the last of Chioma Esi's research has led me to an intriguing topic: Ghosts. Nimbus: Ghosts? As far as I know, Neomuna never had any contact with a Ghost before you all showed up. We knew about them, but… Osiris: Precisely. Chioma Esi was researching the entanglement of Light and Dark without fully understanding either. Our Ghosts are a link to the Light of the Traveler. Then how was the Witness able to — on numerous occasions — communicate through them? Nimbus: Is this about the, uh, the magnets thing? The parallel energy fields, right? Osiris: Very good. In areas of Darkness, the Witness is able to create a link, not unlike what it created with the Veil and the Traveler. Nimbus: Ah, like the Vex are able to hack into the CloudArk with their tech! It's a parallel connection. Osiris: And I believe that connection may not be one-sided. I believe that our Ghosts may be able to leverage this connection against it. Nimbus: Turn the enemy's weapon against 'em — well, that sounds great. But how? Osiris: That… I do not know. But what I do know is that while the Witness is out of our reach, it is also out of the reach of our Ghosts. Which means whatever lies beyond that portal — whatever is inside the Traveler — has left the Witness blind to OUR actions. Nimbus: And given us an opportunity to make a plan without it knowing. Osiris: Precisely! The Witness has played all the pieces it can. This is its final act, win or lose. Whatever we do from here determines the fate of everything. Nimbus: No pressure.
Super interesting questions that tie back to the whole idea of the Light and Darkness not being opposites and everything in the universe functioning by being able to use/channel them both. Probably going back to the theory that the Veil and the Traveler were once a single entity.
Interesting stuff about the Witness not being able to see what's going on in the system. Previously we didn't know about it, but then we got lore from Xivu talking to the Witness (in Deep) while the Witness was in the portal. And Xivu was able to report to it and the Witness reported back. So the Witness can't see outside of the portal on its own... But can if something deliberately seeks it out. Obviously our Ghosts won't do that so it can't reach back to them.
Similarly, with the new season stuff, Mara said that the Sol Divisive are acting as the Witness' eyes and ears in the system while it's away, but we honestly have no clue what the Vex are truly doing and I'll talk about that in another post. Either way, it seems like the Witness can't reach to us now, not through Ghosts.
This might be some stuff preparing us for whatever wild shit we're gonna learn in TFS in regards to the Light, the Traveler, Ghosts and the rest. Ghosts are capable of also channeling Darknes, much like the Guardians. It shouldn't be a surprise, but it's still intriguing that there's such a direct connection. Also interesting to know that our Ghosts might be able to seek out a connection to the Witness as a form of a weapon.
A lot to think about.

🚨 Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor:
—
The involvement of technology and social media companies in causing the killing of civilians by "israel" in the Gaza Strip necessitates an immediate investigation.
These companies should be held accountable and liable if their complicity or failure to exercise due diligence in preventing access to and exploitation of their users’ private information is proven, obligating them to ensure their services are not misused in war zones and that they protect user privacy.
"Israel" uses various technology systems supported by artificial intelligence, such as Gospel, Fire Factory, Lavender, and Where’s Daddy, all operating within a system aimed at monitoring Palestinians illegally and tracking their movements.
These systems function to identify and designate suspected individuals as legitimate targets, based mostly on shared characteristics and patterns rather than specific locations or personal information.
The accuracy of the information provided by these systems is rarely verified by the occupation army, despite a known large margin of error due to the nature of these systems' inability to provide updated information.
The Lavender system, heavily used by the occupation army to identify suspects in Gaza before targeting them, is based on probability logic, a hallmark of machine learning algorithms.
"Israeli" military and intelligence sources have admitted to attacking potential targets without consideration for the principle of proportionality and collateral damage, with suspicions that the Lavender system relies on tracking social media accounts among its sources.
Recently, "israel's" collaboration with Google was revealed, including several technological projects, among them Project Nimbus which provides the occupation army with technology that facilitates intensified surveillance and data collection on Palestinians illegally.
The occupation army also uses Google's facial recognition feature in photos to monitor Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip and to compile an "assassination list," collecting a vast amount of images related to the October 7th operation.
The Euro-Mediterranean field team has collected testimonies from Palestinian civilians directly targeted in Israeli military attacks following their activities on social media sites, without any involvement in military actions.
The potential complicity of companies like Google and Meta and other technology and social media firms in the violations and crimes committed by "israel" breaches international law rules and the companies' declared commitment to human rights.
No social network should provide this kind of private information about its users and actually participate in the mass genocide conducted by "israel" against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, which demands an international investigation providing guarantees for accountability and justice for the victims.

Google has terminated 28 employees' contracts for their involvement in a 10-hour sit-in protest against the company's ties with Israel.
The firings were confirmed by Google a day after nine employees were arrested during protests at the tech giant's offices in California and New York City on April 16.
"This is too important a moment as a company for us to be distracted," Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote in a blog post on April 18.
The protests, led by a group called 'No Tech For Apartheid', were against Project Nimbus, a $1.2 billion cloud contract signed in April 2021 between Israel, Google and Amazon.
The Nimbus project includes a cloud and machine learning system that enables data storage, collection, analysis, motif and feature identification from data, and prediction of potential data and motifs.
The system can collect all data sources provided by Israel and its military, including databases, resources and even live observation sources such as street and drone cameras.
Critics argue that the project could help Israel continue its occupation of Palestinian territories and segregation of the Palestinian people.
