OPEN CALL FOR FICTIVES FROM DC COMICS

DC networks is a discord server for introjects/fictives (heroes, rogues, etc) from the DCU, run by two systems and their DC fictives. this server is also not focused on any specific franchise under DC, but the whole thing. everyone's welcome.

we have tons of channels, to discuss sources, share resources on plurality, talk, etcetera. ultimately this is an effort to connect (or even reconnect) fictives from our shared-ish source, and have a community to rely on. it gets lonely being a fictive with few or no people to talk to who will get it.

the server is run by me, hal jordan (from greenhouse haunted @elmflowers ) and the hourglass tides system. if you have any questions send us a dm we are more than happy to answer.

Discord Server

We are working on a Discord Server which is multi fandom themed and is made for any Fictives, Kins, IRL, etc. who belong into said fandom(s).

Its made for 16-32 year old with a category exclusive for 16-17 year old and 18-32 year olds.

The server is Furry, Neopronoun, LGBTQIA+, POC, Witch, Pagan & Other Religion friendly, Mirrorlinks, Copinglinks are also more than welcome here ! Petre, Agere, Littles, Middles are also welcome, but with supervision only, if you are regressed or have littles/middles under 16 around.

Its also open to Endogenic, Mixed, Traumagenic systems and Syscourse/Discourse won't be tolerated !

The server is loosely themed around Darker themes like Horror, Eldritch, themes with the category names being that way as well

We are trying to make it look aesthetically pleasing, but no promises /lh

We will also have a basic Trigger list + a TW Center where you can talk about triggering topics, acessed by a role

Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.

MAN... ok there are plenty of wibbly answers to this like destiny and warframe where i just didnt like the gameplay or development direction and stopped playing, or ultrakill where i thought the game itself was interesting but didnt like how hard the developers pandered to the fandom to the point where the fandom's takes on the characters are unrecognizable, so i never really got into it. but the holy grail is DC comics. and by holy grail i mean "nearly a decade of personal lore coalescing in my vitriolic hate for it to the point where i truly could not explain all of it in a tumblr post without it being a literal mile long". im talking soap operatic levels of character arcs and interpersonal turmoil. im talking multiple arcs taking place throughout years of my life. that place is a cesspool. i accidentally caused a marriage to be cancelled when i was 14. nothing in my life will ever compare to my teenage years that were haunted by that place. one time when i was part of the "[character]suggestions" roleplay blog verse i was in a discord for it and one of the people who ran a ton of blogs and was a mod in the server blocked me and caused me to be unable to post in a bunch of threads i was actively participating in, because one of my suggestions blogs was for an oc, and they said, quote: "I don't do OCs." while playing dolls with OTHER PEOPLE'S OCS FOR FUN. again i was like 15 at that time. interactions that definitely didnt impact me for years

so tl;dr yeah i can never return. the only surviving remnant of that time is khaji da who refuses to refocus into a different fictive or go dormant. its story shall never be told

It is a judgement free zone, the main rule is just to be polite and respectful of others. Problematic kins and content are welcome, though anything on the blacklist is still expected to be kept in the proper channels.

same anon but i'm a bit dumb... was going to ask, what mediamates have you reconnected with and do you have any suggestions on how to meet them?

so ive reconnected with some in a few ways! personally, im alright with chatting with fictives and kins and counting them as my mediamates, and i have quite a few friends who kin or are IRLs from the dream smp! usually, i join discord servers(whether that be kin or IRLs because i do still kin other characters even though im cwilbur soot irl) and try to make friends through there.

i also have a tiktok where i post edits and use the tag dsmpirlsinteract and try to follow other IRLs and message them!

also, tumblr is a good place, i know there are kin calls, where kins, fictives and IRLs all send out messages to look for mediamates, and i used to message a lot of people via there!

thats my explaination on how i reconnected, but mediamates i have reconnected with isss

ive chatted with a lot of tommys over the time, and lots of quackitys(i used to sctivrly seek out chatting to quackitys but now not so much), and a few tubbos though i dont talk with them often. also a few nikis, i believe ive chatted to a phil once or twice(but not enough :(( id love to chat to any phils) and same with technos. i believe i talked to a dream irl once who was pretty chill. also a fundy, but wuite a few of these are like close friends or people i know! eg im very close friends with two tommy kins, a tubbo, a niki my bf is a quackity irl, and one of my best friends is a fundy kin(though bat isnt in the kinshift often) but i would LOVE to talk to more! literally any mediamates can reach out to me and message me here and im happy to chat, talk mems, and more!

when i ran moobloom, that(dc server)was also a place for mediamates to meet other mediamates! so you could also make your own dc server and advertise it

also, other sources that im happy chatting with mediamates from, in case anyone is interested

If we were to make a discord server for DC fictives/irls/kins, would anybody be interested in joining? It would most likely be 14+, and doubles would be allowed to join. ALSO while we usually don’t engage in syscourse, only traumagenic systems would be allowed in the server.
