(Major spoilers for all Ace Attorney Games as well as Ghost Trick) I already posted something similar to this, but I’ve now played the Investigations collection and the Layton crossover, so I figured I might as well update it. Imagine a trial where “Calisto Yew" is the defence, with Kristoph Gavin as Co-council, facing off against Manfred von Karma as prosecutor, with the Phantom disguised as Daryan Crescend as the detective, Courtney Sithe as the coroner and Mael Stronghart as the judge. The defendant is Matt Engarde, accused of the attempted murder of William Shamspeare, who survived due to plot armor, with Cammy Meele, Luke Atmey, Ashley Graydon and Fifi Laguarde as witnesses. If it’s done TGAA style, then the Jurors would be Enoch Drebber, Nikolina Pavlova, Darklaw, Shelly de Killer via the radio, Roger Retinz, and Yomiel from Ghost Trick because why not. Now the culprit would turn out to actually be von Karma because of course it is, and since he got annoyed by Shamspeare, being well, Shamspeare.

but through your ability to accept him for who he is, ashley is able to accept himself as well! despite his attempts to scare you away, you stay by his side! and it's right then that ashley knows you'll stay with him for the rest of his life! he'll make sure of it!

God "Reminiscences - An Ashen Waltz" actually kills me so bad. I mean already went on the Ashley is My Favorite Tragic Character Rant™ and how his backstory and everything about this poor man's entire life is so fucked but every time that Ashen Waltz comes on in my playlist it causes me psychic damage cuz it brings the image of his suffering and finally getting a "decent" life and then having his father ripped away from him. I never thought I would actually play or be interested in this game. 10 years ago, I was only getting into Ace Attorney and this prequel was just coming out. Since it didn't have the recurring characters I loved I dismissed it for a while. But of course I had to play it with such a quickness when I found out it has this man!!!
