Today I learnt a lesson on patience and how my reactions can either help the situation or make it worse. For those of you who don’t know, my family and I are on holiday at the snow. My husband and I headed up to Perisher this morning with our three kids. Two were booked into ski school and we got our two year old some skis to play around on. Similar to juggling personalities in the office Miss 2 was loving skiing down the mounds of ice off the stairs from the bistro. Then 11am came and so did the almighty storm of tears and tantrums before she crashed hard on my shoulder. Since I hadn’t done my weight training for the day I agreed with the little voice in my head that this was going to be that session. I wondered over to see how Miss 5 was doing at ski school! Another almighty storm brewing in the form of hangry. So with the dead weight hanging off my arm and the floods brewing in the eyes of Miss 5 we wondered up to the bistro and found a room with lounges, some food, a hot milk and a Panadol to sooth my head after missing my morning coffee..... 😩 Ok so maybe being in the office would have been slightly easier! Tomorrow we’ve agreed daycare and ski school is a must. So excited BML is doing its 2nd event tomorrow - another obstacle course race! Have a number of ladies and gentlemen taking place to have fun (not compete) - we are going as a team to have fun and get very wet and muddy while doing so - watch out for photos of the day. Just like @pickuppoettree is an innovative way to learn poetry, “Drop And Give Me Fitness” exercise playing card game is an innovative and fun way to workout especially if you feel you don’t have time to go to the gym. I saw hami looking bored or uninspired in the gym like he ain’t know what workout he wanted to know so I thought I’d offer him some options because there are 10 different workouts in the “drop and give me fitness” game and we had fun although he beat me at my own game 😡😡😡 when he earned a point and made me do sit-ups.
