8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

i think current fandom’s understanding of felix is actually pretty fine with me. felix is a terrible man whose purpose is to be hated and to be a stumbling block for tucker, locus, and to a lesser extent kimball’s story. and i feel like at least what i interact with does for the most part understand him as like. a plot device.

what of course bothers me is when people uwu-ify him. i seriously do not trust your judgement if you’re saying felix needs to be redeemed lmao. you can go “he has ptsd!” all you want and i won’t say that you’re wrong but the reality is that like. felix wants power over people. and the amount of white people who cannot recognize that is the core of felix’s motivation because they’re incapable of recognizing their own power they hold over others… tho o think there’s also this specific brand of felix fan that like. it’s similar but instead of woobifying felix they revel in his villain-y and like…. there’s nothing wrong with liking a villain bc they’re a villain lol i’m out here every day stabbing for temple and south being evil and like. constantly living church and north for the horrible shit they do yknow these are fictional characters but it’s. it’s like they appreciate felix’s shitty behavior as justification for their own? they see themselves in felix and instead of like uh oh! wake up call! they’re like wow. i also want power over others. that’s great. i should be more like him. and like. idk 🚩🚩🚩
