Her. She's different.

It's been over a year. Over a year since I got that feeling. That same feeling of ecstasy, adrenaline, courage, faith, hope and confidence all at once. I never thought it'd come back, but it did. But, the difference being, her, she's different. She's fragile, she cares too much, she's innocent, she loves nature, she loves work, she loves her friends. Does she love me? I honestly don't know. Will we ever be together? I have no clue. I don't know what it is, but there's something, that I can't seem to get past by. It's stuck and it's not moving. All day texting has turned into one-word, "Hello's" and "Goodbye's" and it really saddens me. I could see her text at the start of a horribly long and strenuous day and that one text throughout the day would keep me smiling. She would just say, "aww" and warm fuzzy feelings would take over. She would send me a smiley face and I would picture it and smile. She would stumble and fall and make everything look cute in my eyes. She had a smile that was worth looking at each and everyday of your life. She had integrity and passion, but does she have love? I still don't know. But no matter what, she needs to know this. I will never ever be upset at the fact that I barely meet her because of our complicating work schedules. I will never be angry that she can never make time for me. I will not despise her for not being there when I need her. I want her to know that I am ready to take on this challenge, no matter what the circumstances. Because I know, at the end of it all, a long disheartening struggle always ends with a rainbow at the end of the path. I can see that path and yes it does frighten me with its uncertainty and immaturity and unusual consequences. But, knowing that somehow she's there along the way, I will push and push and push till I'm either beaten down to the ground and torn off the path or till I make it and I will become hers and she will become mine. If it's the latter, I won't allow ever to let her get hurt or hurt her myself. I will pamper her, spoil her, care for her, defend her, be there for her, I want to be that guy. That guy is ready and willing... No matter how much shit I need to face, I want to face it. If it simply means getting to hold her hand at the end of it all, I want the world to throw all its shit at me, so in a way I can prove to her I want to be with her. The only thing about all this is; her, she's different . . . I don't know if she will ever feel the same, but I'd like it to go there someday, even if I have to wait... Because there's something in the way she is, that attracts me like no other, it's because she's her, she's different and I wouldn't want it any other way....
