So I went back to re-watch Jaiden's Welcome Back vod and I documented all the appearances of the cyan roses where Jaiden was staying with the Cucuruchos cause it's my self-declared duty and I'm determined to see what else may be up with these flower

So we have one flower on the table, and three flowers on the bookshelf

There are also two cyan roses in this painting which when I first saw this painting, it immediately reminded me of the first painting Jaiden made for Bobby

Both are set up like a typical family drawing, grassy ground, blue sky, sun in the left-hand corner and two clouds. The main difference is that in Cucurucho's drawing, Bobby is to the right instead of in the center and the two cyan roses seem to take the place of where Roier and Jaiden would be. These are just my objective observations right now for future reference.

oh i don't know what young adult needs to hear this but you should google what day your 10,000th day will be & set a reminder in your calendar. it happens somewhere in your 27th year. i was really bummed when i googled my own and found out i had missed it by like 2 months.

(if you missed yours too, no worries, we both get another chance to celebrate 15,000 at 41. Unfortunately you will be 54 years old before you are 20,000 days old, at which point we will have overthrown the concept of linear time anyway)

For a while Spain and Portugal allowed all Sephardic Jews who could prove their ancestors escaped during the inquisition automatic citizenship provided they could also pass some tests.

They've stopped that now but still have a simplified path to citizenship for Sephardim who leagally reside there for three years. I think something similar exists for Latin American people.

When you say 'created' idk if you're talking about the characters I've drawn or just my ocs. Not that it matters, I'll answer both!

So the favorite character I've drawn so far probably has to beeee... Killer (I know I know, so original, right) he's just a homicidal goofball! Whether you want him flirtatious or murderous will fit him perfectly. As for created, it'd either be Ail or Arch. (Arch is actually an unofficial Oc that I'll be planning to post more about soon. Maybe.)

I have so many questions about this since I doubt anyone was transitioning in the Ottoman empire. Guess I'll have to read this book and find out!

The operator is not tall compared to asrar and the observer, but she is still. Quite tall. They usually stay around the 13 ft area to avoid any unnecessary damage to things around her (and ducking through doorways).

Future!Leonardo and Future!Donatello ref sheets!

These took way too long, so please interact and reblog lol

Alongside the two character sheets (which shows two front face versions, one in full gear and one that's more casual. And also some other stuff around them, like Leo's sword & arm and also Tello's tech bow and battle shell)

I did also do a lil height comparison thing cause I can, tello would be a little taller than Leo. Prove me other wise.

Some design things to point out:

For the most part Navy's (F!Leo) design is pretty similar to his canon design in the movie, except for some of the marking being moved or added, and of course I edited some of his clothes to fit better with my style.

But since Tello (F!don) doesn't have a canon design, I was able to get a bit more creative with him!

Aka i used Navy as a base, but gave Tello both arms, made his trousers longer (and purple of course), and edited the belt thing to fit his design more.

I also gave Tello two plastron cuts on one side (like in my og design), but inside of having the other side of his plastron have just a cracked off piece or having it covered with a metal plate, I just made it look like it got filled in with a plastron like filler.

He does have the same arm gloves like Navy (minus the bandages).

Of course since Tello is THE science lad, I have him a lab coat with the Donnie tech logo on his upper arms, and made it pretty long cause that would look cool af.

I did end up making a proper battle shell design that is a mix of all his other battle shells that he used when he was younger! It having holes on the side where his metal hands come out, and the purple part being able to open up and inside would be some mechanism that can look like his little jet pack thing, which he would make with his mystic, attaching it to his physical battle shell

He also has a more detailed upgraded arm gauntlet thing.

And he does actually have purple chin marks (which aren't visible due to his metal plate chin implant), and also has little purple marking under his eyes. Both resembling the markings Navy has!

In my og design for Tello he had a different style of leg prosethics, but I ended up changing it since it was hard to draw, and the idea of Tello saying fxxk you to the kranng and using their robot legs as a prosthetic just speaks Donatello lmao

Tello also has very similar goggles to his past self, but the metal being much darker and stronger. And of course its been upgraded too.

Finally both Navy and Tello have bright yellow eyes... One, cause it's cool as fuck. Two, cause I would say present Leo and Donnie would have brown eyes, but due to the radiation and apocalyptic environment their eyes would get a lot brighter and would glow in the dark a little. Small cool concept I have.

I loved the calculating stars!

(Not by a Jewish author, but perhaps some of the best Jewish representation in mainstream sci fi.)

I also loved the sequel and third book that's a spinoff. The fourth book was supposed to come out in 2022, but still hasn't come out yet.(

Whelp, didn't do any of this at the seder but I went to synagogue earlier in the day and talked to a bunch of people there about Cosmonautics day and going to space, with varying results.

This year my favourite Jewish holiday (Pesach seder) and my favourite secular holiday (Cosmonautics Day, aka Yuri's Night) will coincide and I want to try and acknowledge that in some way but:

What would I even do?

I live alone in a small flat so I can't host a seder myself (unless I don't get invited anywhere for the first seder and have to do a solo seder, but I hope that doesn't happen), so whatever I do that night will be largely out of my control.
