neuvillette's lore is actually insane. we all took one look at him and went "haha dragon🫵" but i significantly underestimated how big of a role he would play. he's the incarnation of the original hydro sovereign. he took back his rule right under the heavenly principles' nose. he's the one handing out hydro visions now (not even because he has to, he doesn't, he just grew so fond of humanity that he chooses to). he gave away the hydro gnosis bc he straight up doesn't need it. he's planning to DETHRONE ALL OF THE ARCHONS (in a few hundred years, when the traveler's not around to see it, so it won't be awkward for them). he's kind and soft-spoken. he's full of vengeful rage. he's a father to hundreds. he found his purpose after feeling lost for 500 years. skirk pulled him aside for a super-secret convo and when he saw us again he immediately spilled the tea. as far as i can tell, he spawned into existence fully formed. no other character can fucking compare

#I think the closet thing I’ll do is like QnAs at the end of every chapter if ppl are interested#im at fault for ppl losing interest because I rarely used Tumblr these last few years except to doompost abt the comic#I would lose interest too#but. I have a very good feeling rn#and not just right now I’ve had it for a while#this last year I’ve done things I never thought I could do#I went to college after not going tot school for 6 years#I have a 4.0 gpa#im managing my chronic pain#I drew again adter a massive art block#I went to New York#I walked nearly everyday after being inside for 6 years#walking miles instead of a measly 100 steps a day if even that#I met people and am making friends after being terrified of outside#i celebrated 6 years with the love of my life#I didn’t think I’d make it past 13 much less 18. I’m 24 and I have a future#and shit is scary#I can’t act like it isn’t. the world is in a constant state of chaos and Americas downwards spiral has no intention of stopping but#im here somehow#my professor told me (and by extension chevy) to just keep making art and that’s what I’m going to do
