Absolutely in love with the idea of movie shadow , and movie sonic mirroring each other in almost every way, instead of contrasting the other. Shadow being the most extreme version of Sonic, someone who once had the same dreams and beliefs, but lost everything, and lost the ability to keep his hopes and dreams alive. Sonic being the most light version of shadow, someone who kept his dreams and hopes alive , despite the loses, he still has everything. I hope in Sonic 3, Sonic and shadow have to fight the crushing weight knowing the they could’ve been each other.

DPXDC CFAU Headcanon: Ghostspeak Edition

Ghosts in the Infinite Realms who saw Jason and Danny together called them "luzdra", a term in ghost speak that directly translates into the words "shared soul". It's literal definition is; "two ghosts with a bond so deep that it was as if they had split their souls in half and given one to the other", but in general it just means two ghosts with a profound, indescribable bond.

Luzdrus is the singular form of the word, and refers to only one ghost in the bond. While "luzdra" is plural and either refers to both of them together, or the relationship as a whole. It depends on the context of the conversation and who they're saying it to.

There is no romantic, platonic, or familial connotation behind the word. It just means "someone who shares a deep bond with someone" and can be between anyone.

It also does not mean soulmate, and if you say that you'll be corrected. Soulmates implies that their bond was destined by the universe, luzdra are two people who developed and built that bond themselves. It's a relationship forged between two (or more) people.

Some of Danny's rogues -- like Kitty and Johnny, who might've seen the two together and are possibly luzdra themselves -- still call him 'luzdrus' even after Jason's disappearance from the Zone. Danny doesn't know how to feel about it.

A Random The Gaslight District Thought/Headcanon

Alright, so I get Mel’s full name being “Melancholy Hill” is a shout-out to the Gorillaz song On Melancholy Hill, but after putting in some thought, I like to think that “Hill” is actually the family’s surname. Ergo, that would theoretically make the other’s full names be “Kenneth Hill”, “Breadhead Hill”, and “Mud (Murdoch?) Hill”. Is this likely to be canon? No. Is it kinda stupid? Yes. Is it fun to think about? Again, yes. At any rate, this is here for anyone who wants to do something with it.

Hamato Yoshi was a boy scared of the world. He ran away from his family, his responsibilities, and his expectations. Lou Jitsu was someone that ran towards things. Towards a career, towards a love, towards what would end up being his new family. He had assumed Splinter was someone that had cycled back to running from things as well; but in this moment, in this breath, Splinter pushed himself to run like hell towards something rather than away.

Seeing queerplatonic sonadow bounce around means so much to me it’s bonkers ( I’m aroace) and because I can never be normal about anything ever I’m gonna throw my own hcs no one asked for into the ring so get ready

• sonic doesn’t like heroic , formal labels such as “ sir” or “ mister” so I have no trouble believing he wouldn’t use relationship labels.

• shadow doesn’t care for labels either, most of the labels he’s ever known have always been a source of self loathing or anger so he wouldn’t really wanna use em either

• they snuggle like a couple of cats in a warm bed , they like to lean on each other both emotionally and physically ( sonic usually leans his head on shadows shoulder, shadow rests his head on sonics )

• they do their own version of romantic gestures. Shadow inviting sonic to missions he knows he’d enjoy , sonic taking shadow on quiet runs that end in sunsets he knows he’d like

• running their hands through each-others quils even earning some relaxing purrs

• kicking ass together is one of their favourite dates

• falling asleep together after a long day is also one of their favourite things to do together

• they still spare and fight and they both love the thrill and adrenaline of trying to pin eachother down

• sonic likes to hold shadows hand , but never does it without asking shadow first,(shadow always says yes )

• the comfort these two have in one another is unholy , shadow hates thunderstorms , he is scared of them for reasons he doesn’t like to talk about , and sonic ofc holds him close , and reassures him he is here and safe

• and shadow reassures and comforts sonic when he needs to be reminded he is safe and loved for who he is., not who he saves.

Alright, so today’s announcement gave us a lot to look forward to as the show progresses, but right now I want to focus in on these screenshost:

Now, to zero in on the first and third points on the above, a thought occurred to me out of the blue:

What if Breadhead’s alluded to older brother is currently living with/works for/under the custody of Ken’s ex-wife?

I get there really isn’t anything substantiate this given how little we know at this point in time, but I’m going to pull out Occam’s Razor on this one and say that the simplest explanation is that, in the divorce courts of a post-apocalyptic hellhole, the family underwent custody disputes which resulted in each party keeping one of their sons.

Now, for all I know I could be way off the mark, as the above is just as likely as the oldest of the Hill children possibly making a name for himself elsewhere on the island or possibly having been dealt with and cemented at some point in the past.

Then of course is the whole can of worms regarding the identity of Ken’s ex-wife, whether that be the alluded to Xenora, an as of yet unnamed, unrelated Rotling, or (considerably less likely) a woman Ken was married to before/during the apocalypse.

I get there really isn’t a lot to go on at present and I’m likely to be way off the mark with how premature this is, but I felt like sharing and I’m wondering what others have to think about how these two members of the Hill family tie into one another.
