Y’all help me out with this because I genuinely do not know.

If Alastor were to have a partner, would he keep them a secret as a means to protect them? Or would he go public with them because who in their right mind would mess with the Radio Demon’s partner?

Both seem plausible. The thing about the second one is that I can see why someone would totally mess with the Radio Demon’s partner. Maybe not at the height of his terror, but by the time the show starts Alastor’s in the position of both being feared and a forgotten relic of the past. Their partner could be attacked or killed as a short sighted means to boost their reputation. It’s kinda like how in Afro Samurai, the dude with the number one headband is untouchable but the guy with the number two headband is seen as easier to fight so he gets jumped constantly.

It’s about Alastor’s perceived power than actual power and how aware of it he is. I imagine he’d be all cocky and self assured until their partner got hurt and he’d spiral internally about it.
