Bad news about pretending to be normal-

it’s dissatisfying and won’t work entirely a lot of the type. You also stand the risk of forgetting where the mask unclamps and how to take it off or what was under it, what were the things you actually liked doing and which activities you picked up because everyone else were doing them and you were lonely. You might feel like you’re shriveling down inside your skin like some dissatisfying fruit and your hopes and dreams might become hollow because you don’t actually feel any passion for them.

Good news- you won’t believe how much of your true self society is suddenly willing to accept by virtue of you being a well washed adult. I get away with “weird” stuff 10 year old me could never.
