I think in part third life is so devastating because with just better circumstances or a bit of self control, it could have ended so much better. Of course, at least one of them had to die in the end, but not the brutal way that Scar went out. At any point they could have changed courses before the point of no return. Grian could have refused Scars flowers, he could have left once he hit his yellow life, Grian could have killed Scar after his betrayal, he could have fought the spectators and watchers harder to let them both live, he could have denied to brutally murder his best friend, crap, he even could have done it remorselessly and it would have turned out better. But the horrible situation they find themselves in, Grian sobbing about how sorry he is while Scar knows he’s going to lose his songbird for good this time, was preventable. Grian, killing himself seconds later, because he truly had nothing left to live for was his own fault. He had made his job of keeping Scar, a volatile person he knew would betray him one day, alive his only purpose. 

They had so many chances to stop this horrific end, and they just… didn't. You can see the dominos building, until the point where they step into that cactus ring and all their branching choices slide into place. 

Other stories are tragedies because they were always going to end poorly. Third life is a tragedy because it never had to.

Hey guys don’t worry about why I’m asking this but say I am in the process of drawing Elden Ring characters as Disney’s the Robin Hood esc furries and I don’t have an exact list of what character would be which animal. Allegedly I already have a few of them planned out (most of the roundtable), but I would love to have idea thrown at me like spaghetti at a wall.

A quick and simple Penny

She's an angel :) a few hundred years ago she popped into this plane to check things out, as she's a curious one.

The first thing she saw was a flier posted outside of a strange building. It said 'Washington State Penitentiary's Annual Field Day', with a date and other pertaining information. She was enamored by this phrase and took is as her own name.

Soon after, while plane-jumping, she happened upon Chu, a planeswalker herself. Chu intruduced herself, and when this beautiful mess of eyes and wings and rings and legwarmers and chunky shoes stated her name was.... A phrase.... She asked if she could refer to the angel as simply Penny.

And boy howdy did Penny's light pink skin turn a deep crimson at that. A nickname? Her *first* nickname? And it was given to her by this incredibly tall, naked, all big hair and big eye, monster..... Oh golly, she couldn't be happier.

They started dating shortly after meeting :)
