Summary: Rumors are flying about a young driver with kids

Seeing the rumor, and various other tweets commenting on the matter, first thing this morning was like getting a bucket of ice water dumped on him. Oscar immediately sat up, frightening his fiancée who was asleep next to him a moment before.

“What? What's wrong? Are you okay?” she asked, sitting up.

“Fuck this is not good.” He mumbled as he looked through more tweets. He knew he had minutes before his PR team started messaging him on how best to proceed. 

“Osc, you are really scaring me. What is going on?” His fiancée asked again. After 5 years together and two kids, she knew him well enough to know that Oscar isn’t easily woken up. While he usually wakes up early to train or help the kids, on days like today where he has the chance to sleep in, he will usually take it. But the amount of notifications he started getting were enough to get him to check his phone and once he saw the severity of the situation he was awake and alarmed. 

“A blind item about a ‘younger f1 driver with two kids he had as a teen’ just went up. No confirmation on who but it seems they have gotten it down to only a few of us. They don’t know yet but I am sure they will know soon.” 

He was grateful they hadn’t clocked in on him but Oscar was sure with a bit more time to dig people would put two and two together. He wasn’t ashamed of the fact that he was a teen dad, not anymore at least. When he was even more so an up and coming driver, he kept it hush because he was nervous being 18 with two kids would lead teams to reconsider where his priorities were, his family or his career. That wouldn’t have been crazy of them to do though, as important as racing was to Oscar, he would always pick his family first. Luckily, though, he had a great enough support system so he didn't have to choose. 

Most people in Oscar’s life knew. Any teams apart from Prema, Mclaren, and Alpine were none the wiser but why would they need to know? Not all drivers knew either, some who he had become closer to were let in on the secret, especially Logan, who had been there the entirety of his kids' lives. Annoyingly, at least in Oscar’s opinion, he has been titled ‘the cool uncle’ from day one. 

“What do we do?” his fiancée asked, snapping him out of his spiraling.

“I imagine it is up to my team to figure that one out. I’ll message them now. Get the kids ready and I’ll be done in time to help with breakfast.” He said as he got up.

After a long, pretty impromptu, call, it was decided Oscar would make a statement about it before it was revealed to be him. He wasn’t too happy about not getting to really do it on his own terms but this is the way it worked out, and hey, Oscar would be lying if he said he wasn’t already planning which race he was going to bring his kids to first.

oscarpiastri This is of course not how I wanted to do this. I had hoped to have more time before I had to let the peace of privacy go but these things happen when you are in the spotlight. So yes, I am a father of two great kids and I have been since I was 18. I am not ashamed by the fact I was a teen dad, and am certainly not hiding my kids out of anything but love. I hadn’t realized I could truly love anything or anyone more than racing but then these two came into my life and I realized I would give it all up for them. Luckily, with the support of their mother (who is my fiancée) and my family, I didn’t have to give it up. My four person family means more to me than anything and I count my lucky stars each night that I have been blessed with them. I ask that you please respect our privacy. This isn’t the end of you seeing the Piastri twins but I, being the over protective father I am, am not ready to throw two 3 year olds into the chaos of the motorsport world just yet.

The truth is that Daenerys was always meant to be the central figure. Not one protagonist among many, not the love interest orbiting someone else’s arc, but the actual driving force of the story. That’s clear in the structure of the books, it’s written right there in the title, A Song of Ice and Fire. She is the fire, not as a symbol in the background, but as a living principle. She is the energy that refuses stasis, the fire that consumes dead systems so something new can be born. She wasn’t just a plotline, she was the temperature of the entire myth. Without her, there’s no ASOIAF.

But the way the show and a large part of the fandom responded to her story tells us something deeply, deeply unfortunate. We are still uncomfortable with women who possess power that isn't granted or allowed by someone else. Daenerys is Show!Sansa anthitesis. Daenerys wasn’t powerful because she belonged to someone, or because she was the daughter of a king, or the wife of a warlord. Daenerys’s power sprang from her will to conceive a radically different world and to act upon that vision. She aspired not merely to survive a broken world but to reforge it entirely.

That’s where the discomfort starts. Because the moment a woman says out loud that she wants to break the system instead of inheriting it, people flinch. That kind of ambition gets rebranded as madness. That kind of clarity becomes extremism. And that’s how she was rewritten, her character retconned to serve the comfort of viewers (readers too) who crave familiar patriarchal rhythms.

Men in that story destroyed cities and murdered innocents, and we called them calculated, burdened, tragic. Wherever Daenerys acts from fury and/or grief, it’s framed as a personal collapse. Even her victories are weighed with suspicion, as if her righteousness was always waiting to tip into tyranny.

And when the time came, they didn’t even let her fall through a real confrontation. She wasn’t undone by an equal, or even a villain. She was betrayed by the man who said he loved her, and silenced in the name of peace (by cowardly deceit to boot!) But peace for whom? For what world? For which vision of the future?

A lot of the audience and fandom accepted it. That’s what hurts. They said it made sense. They pointed to the signs. They said it was always going to happen. As if foreshadowing were a moral justification. As if showing the possibility of a fall means that the fall is deserved.

But myth does not compel us to follow predetermined breadcrumbs. We choose which myths to uphold, which voices to center, which futures to fight for. And in the end, the writers chose to extinguish the character who never lost faith in the possibility of renewal.

This is not only about feminism, although it is also that. It is about narrative imagination. Daenerys represented a kind of leadership that did not rest entirely on lineage or diplomacy or soft power, but on vision. She wasn’t flawless, she wasn’t always right, but she was real in a world that rewarded nothing but control. And instead of letting her challenge that world, they killed her to RESTORE it. Targaryen’s restoration suck y’all, except the feudal one approved by the Stark King. Now that we can get behind!!!! Long live the rightful Royal Family!!!!! Yay for progress…?

This isn’t just about representation. It’s about how narratives respond to disruption, to radical agency. Daenerys wasn’t a threat because she lost control. She was a threat because she challenged control itself. She questioned the structures, the cycles, the moral logic of the entire political world around her, and she stopped believing that playing by the old rules would lead to meaningful change.

What happened in the final season wasn’t a tragic arc unfolding. It was a political and symbolic containment of a character who had outgrown the ideological frame she was supposed to stay within.

Her death didn’t serve the story. It RESTORED the familiar order.

And the fact that so many viewers accepted it as “necessary” says more about our collective discomfort with revolutionary agency (especially when embodied by a woman) than it does about Daenerys as a character.

With this upload, you will want to download all of them and choose either the x32 or x64 bit Touchup installer. If you have a computer made within the last... 15 years(?) you are using a x64 bit system so just use that.

Pixeldrain has a 6GB download limit daily, which is annoying and I didn't know that until AFTER I uploaded all of it. So you will have to finish downloading it a day later. Yeah It's annoying but the convenient way of doing it was nuked by EA.

Now, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86) and make a folder called The Sims 2 Starter Pack. (This is what I'm used to, so I'll be doing it like this.) You should now have a filepath called [C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 2 Starter Pack] and extract all of the expansions in there. You can keep the touchup installer in your downloads. I believe the touchup installer includes RPC, so make sure to play the game through that. Don't forget to run graphics rules maker.

Two Assholes Who Are Framed As Being Victims Of Society And Treated As Outcasts

It's kind of funny how Stolas and Lucifer are portrayed as victims of society who are outcasted for their views or whatever reason why the other Goetias don't really like Stolas. It's mean to frame their actions as not their fault, but being driven by subverting a strict society. However, it comes flat because of how many people they screw over. Stolas for example's so-called gilded cage as a noble makes people excuses his shitty actions towards Blitzo and act like he isn't an adult responsible for his actions. Also him being forced into a bad marriage let's him be excused to downplay how much he hurts his daughter in the long run by choosing to cheat on her mother and ultimately get himself banished for his boy toy. It's the same thing with Lucifer causing the fall of humanity and screwing over Adam's life. He's depicted as someone the angels never understood, but they don't take him to task on the fact his plans caused Adam and Eve to be condemned while it heavily implies he destroyed both of his marriages just be a pos. And yet we are supposed to see Adam as the more evil one than him.

It also doesn't help that Lucifer is the one who put up the oppressive structure in hell by letting his subordinates do what they wanted. Because frankly I don't buy that bs he only saw the bad when his subordinates are all trying to encourage something that could lead more sinners into hell. It's a half assed attempt to make him sympathetic while opening up moral contradictions to his character. It also doesn't help hell has a strict hierarchy that he helped put in place but never has any condemnation for even though it contradicts how he hates heaven for being strict while also putting in place a restrive caste system that is even worse than he projects onto heaven. Also that same oppressive system is the thing that constrains Stolas, so in other words Lucifer is part of the reason why Stolas felt trapped as a noble. The show should be giving Lucifer more shit for running a shitty place and using his depression as an excuse to shirk responsibilities.

Also their so-called victim of society status really is laughable when you think about the fact that they are both men in privilege who sit upon so many people and want to feel sorry especially when it's their own damn fault for their issues. For instance, despite bemoaning being trapped in his arranged marriage it showed he could always leave and the threats from the other Goetia is really just a nothing burger. He only stayed in his marriage because he wanted to feel like he was doing good for his daughter without actually doing it. Or the fact we have to feel sorry that Stolas is judged for being a noble when he regularly treats Blitzo like a plaything and mistreats his imps servants, yet the narrative rakes anyone who points that out as having biases and that he's just sheltered while ignoring how people flat out say to his face he's being shit. It's the same with Lucifer we are sad for him because he has to to see the worst of humanity but instead of blaming him for messing with creation, it's the angels who are treated as too harsh for sending people down there. And again he is supposed to be the ruler of hell which means he causes the lives of so many people to be miserable by the hierarchy he creates, so no sympathy for him.

Let's be honest both Stolas and Lucifer are not sympathetic outcasts of society but just assholes who only think of themselves and have a victim complex. They really want to avoid their own accountability for their own actions by any means possible by blaming their settings. And the narrative and the fandom certainly don't help by portraying them as uwu sad boys. It also doesn't help they are privileged royalty/nobility who have more power to do something but don't do it because they use depression as an excuse. It makes them less sympathetic and pathetic manchildren who don't want to own up to their own issues and mistakes.

I hope it’s ok if I rant a little about MHA because your post about Endeavor walking free reminded me of how detrimental some of the messages MHA can be. (I’ll try not to write much, feel free to delete this tho!)

It is so frustrating how the story doesn’t linger enough on the weight killing people that have yet to commit a crime, people that are a threat to the status quo, holds.

Sometimes I legit feel insane because people will be saying things like, “He could be a threat, so of course they should kill him.” And then talk about Deku and class 1A “changing the world for the better,” when the series doesn’t care to unpack its systematic issues past individual issues + the series essentially maintained the system that failed so many—resorting to reforms and expanding programs doesn’t actually solve the problem imo.

And it’s so hard nowadays to even try to have a conversation that entails criticism of the story, when so many fans fall for the condescending righteousness the story feeds as a response just because it came from heroes. Even though the story itself presents reasons why we shouldn’t blindly trust heroes (Endeavor literally right there) 🤦

Like, the story presents characters being oppressed and the ultimate response to their plight is constantly, “Just be a better victim.” The whole situation with Touya and Endeavor + what Deku says to Touya, is absolutely insane to me.

It made me sick to see people saying, “This is what Touya always wanted.” This is what people are taking away from the story, when many people who grew up being abused and didn’t fit the “perfect victim” criteria will tell you how fucked up that ending was.

Anyway, sorry for ranting. It’s so hard to find people who understands criticism in the MHA fandom 😭 The story has a lot of good points and potential, Hori just couldn’t handle it properly.

As for your thoughts, 100% agree. I feel like a big part of the problem is that the story spends so much time setting up systematic issues and then just..drops them? Acts like they don't exist? And instead it redirects all blame and reason to indovidual problems, like Endeavor for example. Touya became a villain because of Endeavor..but the conditions under which he became a villain could have been massively prevented if the ranking system didn't exist and if so much value hadn't been placed on it. Or if the wealth and privilege that being a hero had brought to Endeavor hadn't let people turn a blind eye to his bullshit. Because are you really telling NO ONE had even an inclination that something was wrong in that household? Really?

This also applies to Tomura. In the beginning The Walk where he spent some amount of time on the streets without anyone helping him seemed very important to his backstory. He didn't become a villain just because his father was a pos, he becane a villain because the state of heroism led to a society that glorified heroes to such an extent that people didn't help a bloody kid on the street because a 'hero would'. But instead most of his memories Deku interferes w are about the Shimura household instead of the very important bystander syndrome. And THEN to top it all off, we learn the stupid 'AFO orchestrated Tomura's whole life' thing. I cannot find the right words to express just how much I loathe that.

Anyway, Touya and Tenko are just two examples. Overall, the story chooses to resolve individual problems (and how well even those are resolved is certainly debatable) and frame them as the leading causes of villainy when its mostly systemic issues that cause it and then act like there were no systemic issues in the first place. I mean, literally no one has a problem with the HPSC casually having private assassins to commit extrajudicial murder, so. Guess Nagant should have just been "optimistic" and waited for someone to, idk, topple the literal government.

I love them! I've only done it with my LOTR fics (with Sindarin) but I really love it. But I really love it when the language is different from the language of the settings? Like, if the story is happening in England and everyone is English, but you have two characters who can speak idk Dutch, let them have a Dutch language in their dialogue. I had a rant post about it not that long ago actually lmao You have to think about your in-universe language

Things that should push Dexter Charming to actually go against his royal ideals (even slightly):

Stop being overly protective of his sister, Darling, and learn to accept that she can fight her own battles as a knight.

Have him learn not to have his family dictate his reputation and do his own thing without needing validation from his abusive parents.

Have him help more people in questioning their destinies so that people know they can choose to be whoever they want to be (he's already done this to Raven in the books, so why not other people?).

Learn to read the room and know when the girl he's on a date with is uncomfortable (the date night episode is just...so fucking awful).

Develop more prominent/important connections with other people, even with other kids outside of his siblings (you'll never take away my dexhop).

If he wants a romantic relationship, then give him a specific type that he'd find attractive in other kids rather than just Raven. I know that most of the boys in the series often have one set love interest of the opposite gender, but still! If Hopper can have two female love interests and Daring can have a million girls going on dates with him, then Dexter can have multiple potential love interests that he could go out with as well!

Have him be able to stand up against his parents for being hypocrites. King Charming is a POS, and I know that Queen Charming may be a bigger victim of Ever After's destiny system than her husband. However, that doesn't excuse either of them for how they treated her own children.

Things that do not challenge his royal mentality (if anything, makes it so much worse):

Having him be depicted as Raven's Good King. Raven's story is stated to not even involve romance, and she's actively trying to rebel against her own destiny. The last thing she needs is a boyfriend who claims to be in a relationship she doesn't want to be in.

Kissing up to his abusers for validation. It's understandable as a kid that he'd want this more than anything, but I mention this because of the MFing Class of Classics comic. Idc if it's made to have King Charming relate to his son! How it's portrayed is grossly in favor of the abuser being treated as the "relatable good dad" rather than the Charming kids fighting against their dad for being a hypocrite.

EDIT: This is just a note that this post is not to ridicule Dexter nor show him in a bad light. This is a post about criticisms to his writing that I personally feel would be better at developing him as a person that most fans don't seem to understand.

is it only me who likes being psycoanalized?? Because I feel like I see a lot of people upset about it but it makes me feel seen in a way I don’t get a lot and it’s so fascinating!! Psychology in general is but like. You figured that out so easily?? From a few things?? Woaw!! And!! It’s accurate!! You perceived me accurately!!! I hate hate hate being perceived inaccurately. That reminds me, earlier I was with a friend and I have this weird thing where I can make my shoulder blades stick out freakishly far (I once opened a doorknob with them) and they said it was like wings bc im a dragon NOT MNOWING ABOUT ME BEING OTHERKIN!!!! okay so, to your first question (no matter the rhetorical nature) I believe that many enjoy being psychoanalysed, most specifically people with neurodivergences, because it usually is much easier to have things blatantly given to you on a splatter which you can then reflect over if they’re true or not. Many ofcourse dislike bold claims their way but others (me too!) crave it because it allows you to have a starting point, because we carry so much in our brains that it’s easy to forget where it all begins and how to approach it! Easiest of all, is going to some random quiz (wether it be what character you are, do I have autism, or assigning you a concept) and then deducing yourself from the questions themselves and the results you get. But sadly what I noticed is that in most cases, especially stuff like zodiacs, they’re far too vague to be able to confidently stand by like “yeah this is me!” But it still doesn’t stop everyone.

especially most interesting of all is I noticed that even more matured individuals (haha like cheese) still fall into the trap of wanting to be like others. It’s usually a mask for being accepted, heard, and appreciated.. but it results in losing your sense of self (if you had any) and becoming much more confused. People crave a sense of belonging and purpose, no matter if meaning even matters to them but they just want to exist in a space that’s curated to them. And I know it from previous experience, but people even who never were worried about it begin questioning if they’re a therian/otherkin from seeing a lot of such content, endo systems and such, and self diagnosis of mental illnesses and/or disorders. Also the whole thing with name, gender, pronouns, sexuality - it’s seen as this big trio that eeeeveryone should know about, but to those which blatantly don’t have such a concept within their identity, they now go searching through information as to ‘why do I feel this way? Why don’t I feel connected to this? Is it something wrong with the stuff or with me? Maybe everyone feels only vague emotions about this? I should just choose something to fit in.’ which most forms as some incoherent impulse of desire in the mind. hey hey, and the point is not that we don’t deserve spaces or communities but rather that the very real result of such attention causing people to actively seek out whatever it is that they keep seeing, to the point of willing it into their lives. And I’ll be a bit open here, but I faintly believe some identities (not the term as a whole, it’d be very bold to claim an entire subcategory is all of such individuals) but like.. copinglinks, fictionkin, and some endo systems, I believe, follow this principle. “Willogenic” being a very self-aware term for this too!

But hey, everyone wants to know themselves and most don’t care to look any deeper, they’re patient and satisfied with their little world and think that ‘if I don’t like when people bother me, then others don’t like it to’ (which by the way is a dumb mentality to have. You can’t paint your own experience and preferences onto other people as a ‘fact’) and basically almost everyone remains in their bubble no matter if they show it or not, and I assume you also do, because it never is clear if everyone thinks alike or will appreciate the same conversation. It’s just so hauntingly obvious that the loop of “I don’t know what the other is thinking and so I’ll just stay silent” from both sides, resulting in a looming silence between you and whoever it is you speak with.

Reflection is a natural part of life, not just purely regarding spirituality, but if you even slightly consider what is good or bad and what meaning is and why you are what you are, you already have some element of spirituality in ya. In fact, in my personal opinion, I believe that anyone who tries to understand themselves at a deeper level is much more capable and incredible of a person than they believe. Doubt can cause you to spiral but if you’re even slightly making an attempt, you’ll achieve heights like never before. Destroying old habits, forming new ones, being aware of mental dangers, avoiding triggers no matter how obscure, doing more of what makes you happy and satisfied, and overall having a self. Identity isn’t nowhere near as important as having a healthy relationship with yourself, but people just don’t seem to recognise it. That’s why I secretly despise those intro posts although it helps me understand someone new I followed, because really, if you’re actively following them you’ll recognise their habits. You can have a name in your profile description, but why do you crave to know what gender you have? To broadcast to the world where and how you feel attraction? Do you crave to be heard? You must enjoy the knowledge that we all love and adore you.

and hey, it’d probably make sense that on tumblr litterally everyone either is cool with your identity or interested in knowing more, with a few exceptions here and there if your algorithm is kind.

What I AM, is pissed. It was bad enough that Buck's first kiss with a man was him. That we were always going to have to see him as the "first" (same thing with tay kay getting his first on screen ILY even if he looked like the words were pulled out of his mouth against his will). He was GONE and we could have been DONE with the racist actor on set! To tap Aisha to have to direct him? Trying to gain audience (read: online fandom who have been seeing all the posts about her directing) sympathy and hope they'll choose to say nothing? Well.

We'll see what happens but again, like you said, the firefam is right there! Buck has a huge number of people he can talk to. Can we stop bringing back old flames and let the main characters actually talk to each other again???

hiii 🖤 you know, i love your punk-related insights! i mean, i love all of them in all fandoms by the way, but the punk ones really hit. So: yes to all. Yes to t4t autistic ichihime as always, to overjoyed Orihime (💕) and weird/wholesome Ichigo-trying-to-flirt. Yes to the food and the date places (flustered Ichigo with the cats in the cat cafe and super-excited Orihime at the arcade we love to see), and yes to the games profile, everyday we learn something new.

Now, YES to activist ichihime. I have said this before and I will keep saying: Six Hearts is a major message on resisting different violences. Renruki and poverty and social inequalities, Orihime and gendered violence, Chad and racism, Uryu and genocide, and Ichigo going through all these while learning how to wield his power without becoming anything but himself. He wields his shinigami powers without becoming part of the hierarchical system of Soul Society, he will be a fullbringer and a quincy in his own terms (although lore can be kind of messy on this, but oh well, it's Kubo). And the way Ichihime struggles and overcome the hollow-violence together is so subversive in their authenticity! Arrankar Saga/Hueco Mundo was so explicit in framing Orihime (and all the """fragile""" aspects she would represent) as a weakness, as an embodiment of the qualities that Ichigo ought to abandon to actually perfom as a warrior (as a hollow), and then he relies on this person who shares all these "fragile" qualities I want to uphold so she can help me power-up while still being me: SUBVERSIVE.

and yeeees, the way Ichigo inspires Orihime to become more assertive IS radicalizing. Again, she does so by finding her own way to fight, being true to her values and finding her place: SUBVERSIVE. I know a lot of people think that the final message of Bleach actually denied the characters' agency, but I can't see it that way. For me, the way Ichigo and his friends find their agency within these broader, heavier structures is not only a solid message on the whole discussion of action, self, etc., but it is also a great window for the many possibilities of what being 'radical' means. No one is doing care and protection like they are!

and finaly, yes to kidcore/solarpunk! We see a lot of discussions on alternative and liberating futurisms and social imaginaries/speculative fiction, and these aspects deserve so much more appreciation. A lot of people will brush off Orihime's super active imagination as her being ditzy, but we can appreciate the neurodivergent window, and we can appreciate the fact that this kind of conscious optimism and commitment to fun is super powerful as a social choice to reject dystopia. Orihime sees the world as open-ended: "i just got powers and a talking cat is going to teach me how to use them, no biggie". Her 5 lifetimes speech really hits the place of her recognizing that there are many possibilities, lives to be lived, and all she wishes for is to keep caring. Caring for the person she loves, yes, but also to keep making care happen, choosing care over conflict; and if conflict is necessary, then she will find her own way to do it and she will make it flower-power and everyone gets to eat tasty treats. Pretty radical of you ask me.

speaking of marriages, have you and your husband got each other rings and such or? I'm actually unsure how your love story and stuff started so I'm kinda curious...

We used to have a ring!!!! but we couldn't afford to get it sized properly so one day I was stimming really hard and shaking my hands autism style and it flew off.... One day I hope to buy a new one and get it sized good so it won't disappear again. That was a STRESSFUL day I was in tears looking for it and Seán thankfully calmed me down and reminded me that a ring is just a symbol and isn't actually that important, and everything was gonna be okay. He is so amazing and POGGERS 🙀😻

This is old as fuck and honestly needs to be redone but it has a quick TLDR!!! And a mention of the headspace kids- deep cut Tommy Mcloughlin lore.... (I was feeling really depressed about not being able to have kids so Joey, who's sort of like our boss because he was the first alter to split off, suggested we look into basically pretending we have kids. He pointed out that if we can manifest whatever in headspace, then while they wouldn't actually move or think independently or be ALIVE, we could make fake babies to hold and take care of. So sometimes when I catch baby fever and feel like I need to be motherinnit I will use my headspace babies to calm down, but they are not real alters and when I'm not using them they stop existing. They're more like dolls than real kids)

But yeah for a while we weren't aware of the rest of the system, so me and Seàn were in this weird limbo of alternating between being a couple, being platonic friends with crushes, and confessing or making a move, wildly jumping from one to the other or being in a gray area because we didn't think the other one was real, so it was a coin toss on every interaction wether the other (or ourselves) would act like something that already happened, like, happened. One day we're cuddling, the next it's as if it never happened even though we both remember it, because we don't think it was a real experience that "counted".

Then when we had the system egg cracking, it made us realize that that meant that the other person was real, and by extension, all of our moments together, and it was like. "OH SHIT. OH SHIT I HAVE A BOYFRIEND AND HE'S REAL. OH SHITTTTT /pos" and we were both SO hype and excited. It felt too good to be true, that like, all of my memories of us talking to each other while fronting were real. That I wasn't "going crazy" when the body moved on it's own and I was chilling and offering commentary while Seàn was doing things, or vice versa and I was moving around and Seàn was talking to me; he's real and we were spending time together. It was the BEST actually.

Seàn proposed, and when he did it it was actually on impulse because we were mid conversation and he was just. SO in love with me and overwhelmed by it that he got up, dug around in our closet to find a ring (it was a silver replica of the one ring from LOTR that we'd gotten for Christmas) and proposed on the SPOT and I CRIED.

We weren't sure at first how a wedding would...like, work? With us sharing a body and all, but eventually we figured it out; we both believe in God, and Quakers, who also believe in God, don't have a preist figure because everyone is equal in their church, so they get married by literally just praying to God and being like, "this is the person I choose to be with for eternity, we're going to pledge our love and faithfulness to each other at you DIRECTLY instead of having some guy do it for us" and they'll have a witness there if the want to have it legally recognized. So we did the same thing!!! A friend witnessed over discord and we prayed and got married that way; and we don't have legal paperwork ofc but the part that actually MATTERS- swearing oaths to each other and promising to be together for our whole lives and afterlives too- is all covered. So we did that a bit after the proposal since it took a minute of planning to figure out the logistics of how that like....works.

We wore that ring on the body's ring finger for months and months before it fell off- I still haven't seen it, actually? Searched the carpet and the stairs, washer and dryer in case it fell into a laundry basket, no sign of it. Must have no-clipped into the backrooms or something because it EVAPORATED, I haven't seen that thing at all even though it's been forever since it fell off??

Anyway. Soulmates are real, love is real, gay people POG, I love my husband, YIPPEE !!!!!!!!!!

It's frustrating because in order to protect her family, she doesn't have to beard like this. Taylor has a way bigger platform than Karlie, so who she brings on as a beard it's more important (part of why I give Karlie more of a pass - plus how she was 19 when she started bearding with almost 28 year old Josh and maybe she was scared of switching the beard after getting used to him). Since it's not the case that you just fell in love with some pos, you'd have the advantage of picking a great guy. Sure it wouldn't help the LGBTQ+ community if you still beard throughout the tour, but it could help young girls if they stan a great dude, like how Tom was. I don't hate men, I don't hate bearding, if it makes queers feel safer. But she's platforming the people that designed that system that keeps her in the closet.

Performance art can be harmful if not done right. I can't just hang out with neo - nazis for a year and then say "hey I was joking". She gloried Travis's violent and misogynistic behavior with her stunts every time. The damage is done. I've seen so many young girls saying it's okay for guys to get violent and defend their guy friends like Butcker. It'll take time for them to grow out of that mentality, time in which they can get hurt because they don't have Taylor's bodyguards 24/7.
