it's funny because back in the day people used to say they couldn't/didn't ship characters of color because they were "boring" or "under developed" compared to gringitos but now that we have a slew of well developed, interesting, and prominent chars of color people just say you can't ship them because of [insert problematic bingo square] and idk man I find all that cardi b that's suspious dot gif

While Fourever You was airing, people were upset that Hill and Ter kept popping up during Johan and North's story, yet I did not understand the anger. However, I am twenty-one episodes deep into Perfect 10 Liners, and I can respectfully say with all my being that I do not give two flying f*cks about anybody else who is not these two Blue Boys in love!

I normally would be upset that nobody was wearing their color this episode, and the only way they showed their color was through their bags, but in this episode, I. Don't. Care.

Usually, I'd be super excited that Red Rascal Arc wore his color while he took care of his man, but right now, I. Don't. Care.

On a regular day, I'd take this as confirmation that Black Brooder Yotha and Green Guy Gun are into puppy play, but today, I. Don't. Care!

Like, I kinda want these two to make out sloppy style on that table in front of Wine, but even then, I. Don't. Care. (as much as I could)

Because while everyone is having a grand time slandering my Blue Boy's name, Faifa is going through it!

Wine's friends think Faifa is practically a slut (he isn't and even if he was, that'd be okay), Newton tells him nothing, Yotha thinks he is incapable of love even though he took better care of Yotha's boyfriend at one point than Yotha did, and everyone just expects him to keep rolling with the punches including his own mother even though they all know Faifa is a people pleaser because of the trauma they have ALL given him.

So I do not care about anyone else when Wine is sitting right next to Faifa and telling Faifa he can show his sorrow to Wine no matter how weird it might be because Wine isn't going anywhere.

I do not care about these other boys who are shit talking my man when Wine is on that roof reaching out to him and holding his hand as he cries.

I ONLY CARE ABOUT MY LAPIS LADS!

Yotha is trying to give Wine advice when Wine knows how to take better care of Faifa than anyone else. He has already slept in Faifa's bed. He has already kissed Faifa. HE HAS ALREADY DRIED HIS TEARS! So with all the disrespect in my chest, everyone else including Yotha needs to STFU and exit my screen!

Faifa and Wine are happy and in love, so trash the labels! As long as my boys are smiling and together, I don't care if they haven't defined the ship. I don't care if there are still three episodes left and a bracelet to get from the Love Guru Tawan because, in this beautiful moment, my boys have made the safest and kindest space for each other and that's all that matters.

I know Faifa telling that girl that he remembered her name came across as flirty, and I noticed Wine side-eyed him.

But THE BEST Blue Boy makes sure everyone knows he is only trying to romance one specific boy.

And he makes that clear to Wine again and again AND AGAIN.

So I am thrilled that despite all my fears of miscommunication and holding in their feelings, Faifa feels safe enough around Wine to openly express himself because unlike all these other triflin' heifers, Wine has shown again and again AND AGAIN that he only wants honesty from Faifa.

So all these other characters can kick rocks because I now fully understand the Fourever You folks. I only have eyes for one amazingly perfect couple!

Give me my boys being sweet on each other.

And ONLY my boys being sweet on each other!

And whoever makes them cry can eat dirt!

Or they'll be sleeping six feet deep in it. *drags finger across throat*

as the night skies become painted in the brilliant colors of the aurora, dancing over pixie hollow like a veil in the wind, the dream fairies take flight. tonight, they observe how the aurora seems to shine extraordinarily bright — a good omen that the children’s dreams carried within hail from peaceful slumbers. as always, dan heng is awake, watching the fairies harvest dreams from afar on the branch of the tallest spruce tree he could find. he has never known what it was like to dream, or to even have dreams for that matter.

when he shares this with his warm fairy companion as they meet at the border, where autumn touches winter, they look at him in bewilderment. “a fairy who doesn’t dream?” they question, the mere thought unimaginable. “are all winter fairies like you? do none of you dream?”

“no, i’m sure there are those who can,” he replies, his two closest friends instantly coming to mind — their enthusiasm a stark contrast to winter’s quietude. “but.. what exactly is a dream?”

Secrets Happened on the litchi Island has already been a fantastic journey of colors and symbols, but it nailed the ending because CHEN LI PICKED RED!

The Blue Boy picked red!

Then he set out to get his Red Rascal!

I do not understand the marriage plot, but I don't care (someone explain it!) because the Red Rascal was wearing green, which I felt was the middle between red and blue, or the earth between the fire and the water.

Then Red Rascal Xiao Zhi graduated in pink when he thought he spotted Chen Li in blue in the background.

But I think this was all part of the plan because Blue Boy Chen Li with the one red box on his desk had received three boxes of lychees, which means he solved the fruit issue on the island, and since lychees are symbolic of love, that means he solved his love problem, and now, just like the fruit, his love is abundant!

He also lied to Xiao Zhi's brother and said the professor told him to share the fruit. We saw him delete the original text that simply asked if he wanted some just so he could rewrite a more direct message, so he could deliver the fruit to the brothers (for the possibility of seeing Xiao Zhi).

Xiao Zhi's brother originally said he'd pick them up, but he didn't deliver them to Xiao Zhi, so Chen Li in his blue shirt that has a red top over it (with his green bowl with red chopsticks) comes up with a plan to see his Red Rascal.

He looks at the pink bottle of liquor (it's peach honey and not lychee which would have been too perfect!) and decides to deliver his own box of lychees to Xiao Zhi instead since he can't speak to Xiao Zhi directly because he changed his number.

And just like earlier with Xiao Zhi in green, when he walks in to find the lychee, he is all in green and surrounded by green.

His roommate (who may like him?) thinks his very good-looking brother has delivered the fruit, but when Xiao Zhi calls his brother, his brother states he had someone else deliver them.

Then, Chen Li lies about his car being in the shop just so he can see Xiao Zhi at the bus stop! Xiao Zhi sees him drive away in his car!

But all signs are pointing to a reunion! The signs at the bus stop read "imagining your return," "the same city," and "long time no see"

And even though Chen Li met him in the city, he walks with him through the park, which is the greenest space in the city. He asks for Xiao Zhi's new number, and when Xiao Zhi puts himself in Chen Li's phone as "little brother," Chen Li gets upset and changes the name!

So this is when Xiao Zhi pieces it together! The roommate picked up a "gay vibe" (it's a conversation involving math) from Xiao Zhi's brother "who looks nothing like him" because it wasn't his brother. It was Chen Li, and once Xiao Zhi goes through Chen Li's socials with the lychee (aka Chen Li's love) right there in front of him, he sees a sunrise which is a callback to them watching it together, which was the last time they were happy together.

And his red fire painting with a caption about how Chen Li realizes he no longer wants to live in fear of what society thinks of him.

He wants passion even if it means suffering!

So this Red Rascal devises a quick plan of his own. He asks his brother for more lychee, the brother tells him to ask Chen Li, which confirms the brother was never part of the delivery, so he empties out the container of lychee, acts like he has no more, then asks Chen Li for more lychee (MORE LOVE!). His text is blue.

And Chen Li immediately responds that he has more. His text is red. They have exchanged colors just in time for Chen Li to use the newly acquired phone number to then call and ask Xiao Zhi if he wants to eat dinner with him the next day.

Xiao Zhi doesn't hesitate to run out of the house full speed in his pink top and red shorts because he knows exactly what this means!

And as he runs through the city, he runs past a slew of dark signage, yet one red sign is brightly lit, and it's "dream" since this Red Rascal's dream is finally coming true.

He calls Chen Li back and asks what his apartment number is to which Chen Li eagerly responds believing Xiao Zhi is saying yes to meeting him for dinner, but then Xiao Zi busts through the door (the door code has to be meaningful), and the sign over the door wishes him "Good Luck"

Then he spots Chen Li behind all the red fortunes, and their fates finally align!

And although I cannot understand fully what this book on the shelf is about, it seems to be a story about how two gods became human because of love.

Apparently, there are two more books in the series about summer and spring, which are also on the shelf.

And I think that's perfect because at the end, they are back at the green place that they fell in love where the lychee grow with Chen Li in his blue, and Xiao Zhi in a shirt that has butterflies on it.

They are in love, and they are together!

So please let us get extra scenes of them just being boyfriends.

And being in love with each other.

Because as the end card stated, they are the best in their own little world.

And now I have to go back and watch all the episodes to figure out all the small details I missed!

So since Ymber wouldn't be a deity there are some things he lacks physically - such as no pointed ears and no bright blue undertones to his hair. Just the basic blue. (does he dye it in a modern AU ? who knows) Also while he doesn't have a collar to symbolize his servitude to humans I still think he should have a choker.

I had some help a while back brainstorming how there would be some form of "superior" dynamic could still exist and I really liked the idea given that he's a famous architect. (he does design all constructs for his city as a deity so it checks out - he likes buildings) And Deacon just admires all the guy's works and never expects to run into him but of course they do! Gotta have a very awkward "oh it's you I'm going to melt into the earth" and "I have no idea who you are but we should hang out".

Sooo Deacon still just really admires Ymber and feels like they're on totally different levels and doesn't understand why Ymber would want to associate with him since he's just a "boring human".
