I was pursuing your “Destiel” tag (thank you for posting it for that anon, btw, and bringing it back to my attention), and came across this statement from you:

“As a result, douchy Jensen + going off script = other actors trying to cope. My favorite was 2016 because that was when my girlfriend leaned close to the screen and said, "Jared, blink twice if you're being held against your will". Since then Jared had figured out how to handle these ~unscripted~ moments, but Misha hasn't.”

What was the moment in particular at 2016 JIB that made your girlfriend say that? Or what was Jensen going at that one? Wasn’t Gen at that one, too?

Also, what would you say Jared’s strategy has been in dealing with Jensen (when drunk) on stage at JIB? And why does Jensen seem “meaner” to Jared at JIB than at CE or AHBL cons? Which is closer to thier actual dynamic, do you think?

And I just have to add, it was pretty amusing seeing Misha momentarily (sadly not longer) regret his life choices at, was it 2019 JIB, where he pointed out the Destiel shirt and Jensen yelled about “where is it real?” Do you think Jensen was actually annoyed in this panel? I say yes, but my brother says no.

Jensen seems to keep it together more at JIBs post pandemic, but I was at JIB 13, and he gave off a huge air of just being over the whole thing by his solo Sunday panel. And he and Rich were essentially running out the clock by being loud idiots (my ears still hurt from being near a speaker).

They all claim to love JIB, but they also all seem pretty over it come Sunday.

This was the first time I briefly talked about the infamous Jib con. Back in 2016 I used to think their co/dependent friendship was doomed at the 10-year mark because when one isn’t adjusting to the changing time, then the idolatries friendship can’t last more than 10 years at best.  I listed a few examples (X) from a feminist blog about women ending their female friendships, a woman ending her friendship with a male friend (X) Oliver Broudy’s story of ending his 10-year friendship with a college friend (X).  These friendships ended because one of them was stuck and making more and more demands on the unstuck friend.  We know happened after season 10 wrapped up (X) (X).

Anyways, what got my girlfriend's attention was Jared looking like a tug of war rope between Gen and Jensen and the boys. Regular corporate SPN cons in the U.S are already a male-dominated atmosphere bordering on frat boy shenanigans. At least there are corporate handlers and security to help keep the actors in line, plus alcohol are banned for actors. Jib cons are fan-run with no handlers and alcohol are allowed, and usually there are no actresses because the cost of the extra Jensen/Misha and Jared/Misha panels means some actors are going to get cut out and it’s usually the actresses. Without female colleagues around, the men really rile each other up at Jib cons, it’s part of their bonding and one-upmanship rituals. I think why Gen rarely participated in SPN cons is because she didn't want to be around all that dude energy. But 2016 was different because I think she blamed herself for leaving the 2015 British con early and is still traumatize that she nearly lost Jared few days later, so Gen agreed to let Jared drag bring her to Jib con. Men don’t like wives/girlfriends homing in on their bro times and Jensen was noticeable irritated that Jared’s wife was there and during the closing ceremony Jensen used air quotations marks while talking about Gen’s marriage to Jared who had his arms wrapped around her. He looked peeved at Jensen and then then laughed it off because what else could he do on stage?

(Side note: it’s not easy for men to find male friends and keeping them.  I hated the movie I love you, man because it was too familiar, and Paterson made me uneasy because Adam Driver's character has no male friends and he's more than okay with that because he has a wife.)

Jensen seems "meaner" not just to Jared but to every actor there, especially Misha. At these fan-run conventions, there are no "scripts" (guidelines actually) to follow. Most actors were still going by the guidelines from corporate-run conventions when they're on stage, but not Jensen because it's part of his upmanship as a way to both bond and dominate others. It's a Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman type situation. Maybe Jensen learned this trick from Ryan who used to be his roommate. Misha is not a natural improviser, his guest appearance on Whose Line Is it Anyways shows that, so he's the least apt at handling Jensen's off script moments. Half the time Jensen wasn't actually drunk but acts like it to avoid the inevitable asinine Destiel-loaded questions from the hellers in the audience.

Jared's strategy was about the same at pre-2016 JIB cons and CE cons because he's pretty apt at smoothing things over between Jensen and the fans. At the infamous 2013 New Jersey con a self-claiming bisexual girl tried to ask Jensen a loaded Destiel question and he snapped at her with, “don’t ruin it for everybody” and Jared immediately calmed Jensen down and salvaged the rest of the experience for sane fans.

Stuff like this is closer to their real life dynamic as the Giver and the Taker. If you read the "codependency tag", Jared the Giver cleans up the messes the Taker make. Givers think they're helping but they're actually enabling and don't improve things. Jensen's reputation took a slight hit, and it took a few years for the New Jersey con to be memory-holed. Apparently Jensen didn't learn from this and 3 years later mocked a girl wearing a "Destiel is real" shirt at the 2019 JIB. Misha told Jensen to not “fight with fans” and Jared was gesturing to a fan in the front row as if saying don’t look at me look at him. That may answer your question, Jared stopped trying to calm Jensen down and instead focus on heading off fans who gets too snippy at Jensen, like at a DC con few years back where a girl was trying to look cool but came off sounding hostile towards Jensen, so Jared left the stage and hugged the stuffings out of the girl, deflating her hostile-sounding voice.

I don't think I've seen Jensen's solo panel at JIB13, but he's usually looks like he's watching the clock during his Jared-less panels so that's nothing new. It's been the case for many years and a common complaint by fans, it's why CE stopped having solo J panels early on because Jensen needs a scene partner. It goes back to why Jensen works better as a scene-stealing supporting actor instead of a leading man. How Jensen made Dean Winchester have memorable moments was by putting his focus on the other person.  By using this method, Jensen can stop worrying about how he’s going to say his lines and speak intuitively, this helps make Dean appear truthful to the audience.  It may be why Jensen doesn’t read scripts ahead of time.   Jensen doesn’t go into a scene looking to do a scene, instead he goes in looking to be open and give over to how the other person (in this case, Jared playing Sam) makes him feel.  This method worked great for Jensen when his character has Sam to focus on, and Jensen has Jared to react to.  It’s why Dean’s dying moments with Sam in the barn works so well in the series’ finale.

While “acting is reacting” gets mocked in the acting community because it’s a trap alot of actors fall into by adjusting their truthful inner life to their assumptions about the text.  Good acting is adjusting the text to your authentic emotion which is the result of the other person.  This where Jensen’s good acting comes from and it’s become his comfort zone and made him a multimillionaire by his mid 30s.  He’s in what my acting coach calls “the truthful contact”, it’s where actors are taught the first stage of authentic acting.  The next stage is “crafting”.  When you’re working solo without a screen partner, your skill at crafting becomes vital.  Crafting means anywhere from ability to endow meaning to objects so they have emotional meaning is important, or effectively get across justifications and point of views.

“There are certain things that leave open doors for the enemy to enter a life and deceive - sabotaging their life and relationship with God - because those open doors these things leave makes one an actual willing partner in a very dangerous spiritual unholy alliance.

Rebellion, pride, deception, and a refusal to die to self, crucifying the flesh swing the doors wide open. Take appropriate measures to seal them shut.

These are demonic influences causing one to become more and more like the father of lies instead of being transformed to become more and more like Jesus.

Eventually they create in a person a spiritual assassin, used by the enemy - without even realizing it, against the people of God.

But this is a not random thing to become like this - it is the spiritual consequences of the continuous willfull sin of rejecting God’s ways and God’s truth - and refusing and stifling conviction so that one is no longer able to see the need to repent.

This all begins with the deception of always choosing the easy path, followed by thinking, that one is the exception to every rule. This causes contempt for godly wisdom and leads to rebellion taking one completely over. It is not possible to only “dabble” in rebellion and selfish ambitions - it is demonic and has a mind of its own - it WILL take one over.

Rebellion, however, cannot thrive where truth is loved. Repentance and walking in the truth is the only cure.

Unrepentant pride only strengthens the grip of the enemy on the rebellious life until it is unable to take the slightest correction - believing one to be above reproach.

Pride surrounds, as with a shield, the spiritual stronghold - protecting behavior that is not of God.

Bitterness and resentment then take over and defiles. This is a wide open doorway for spiritual strongholds - causing one to even bring about division and toxicity in the lives of others. Becoming toxic to everyone they come in contact with in one way or another, depending on the nature of the relationship.

These may seem even religious at times - and even moral. But it is only on the outside. They us “Christian talk/language” so that they will appear the part of a very spiritual person.

Opportunistically people -pleasing at their core, their loyalty only truly to themselves.

They are blind and deluded, walking in a false light, and denying the true transformative power of God, the Holy Spirit, and His Word. “A “form” of godliness, denying its power.” (2nd Timothy chapter 3 and Jude)

Hypocrisy and idolatry had taken root, and opened the door wide to self deception, and they walked in, so that they don’t just tell lies - they actually live inside them, believing them.

They have become master manipulators - rendering themselves unreachable by truth.

Spiritual delusion and confusion have taken over their thinking - to the point where they now destroy others, believing that they are righteous one, and that the righteous are far from God.

This is not just a character flaw we are considering here - this is a demonic stronghold.

When you choose darkness, darkness chooses you back.

Demons whisper to in the ear and it is thought to be God - and every time one listens, the demonic grip tightens.

Because what can be known about God’s truth has been made available but they chose not to listen and obey. (Romans chapter one)

If this is you, even partially, please call out to God, Who alone can deliver you - and repent! Pray for the love of the truth that can save you from deception and cling to, and abide in, God’s Word. If you hear God’s voice, do not harden your heart.

I'm thinking about Peter always sort of worshiping James as an idol of a million things he wasn't. Popular, attractive, funny, athletic, wealthy, everything.. Watching him do anything with this look of utter devotion. and that morphing into some romantic desire, maybe rooted in having some taste of that. When he gets with Lily it's like this world Peter has created in his head crumbles, even if James always liked Lily, it's totally different when they start getting closer because it was the one thing Peter reasoned James couldn't get, and he reckoned he could fill that void through his near fanatical devotion only to find he was wrong. James was perfect, and he could do anything, and Peter could never achieve that or get the attention from him that he desired, and then all of that conjoined with a deep sense of sinfulness imbued by internalized homophobia which would ultimately lead to a festering resentment of either Lily or James or both, and thus pushing him towards becoming a death eater. His love, his grief, his anger, his idolatry all being so great, he'd disregard all his morals and beliefs, which were built on James Potter, for some sense of relief. But it didn't work. Revenge never works, so he has to live with the knowledge he destroyed his god, his saviour. He destroyed his friendships, and he jailed his Sirius. He betrayed all those close to him, for nothing, and now he must live as nothing, as a rat- because there is nothing truer to him than that. He is as a rat is, dependent on company to survive in any meaningful sense.

one thing i wish to emphasize here is that vedic practices like the two following are to be done in places free from the influence of alcohol / drugs / meat / rahu dominant places. after having consumed any of these, stay away from the places where the god is kept / offered remedies to, to respect their sanctity.

employ your imagination to visualize the sun god in an anthropomorphic form (as a human). this is done to create a deeper emotional relationship with the sun which is not possible with an inanimate object.

the sun is visualized with two arms, his skin the colour of red coral, holding two lotuses in his hands, with golden armlets, bracelets, necklaces and shining gold earrings. he sits atop an open lotus, and has the radiance of a thousand stars. his chariot is driven by seven horses as he moves through the sky.

do this as you stand facing the rising sun, before 7 in the morning with an empty stomach and having taken a bath. you must have a small, round copper vessel (a lota) filled with fresh water. as you imagine the sun god, bow to him softly and raise your hands filled with the vessel and start pouring it in his direction, as though offering it to him and chant the following mantra:

ॐ  हराम  हरिम ह्रौं सह सूर्याय नमः 'Om Hraam Hreem Hraum Sah Suryay Namah'   ‘I salute the Great Sun God for his Divine grace.’

if this is too tough, you may go for a simpler one:

no special accents or anything, every letter to be pronounced properly as i have written in the english translation.

keep a bucket below where the water will be collected, or any other vessel and cast it aside. this water is not to be used for watering plants, washing etc. personally, i switch between three buckets. when one is full, i cast it aside and it just vaporizes by at least half within two weeks time by which i have to switch buckets.

this can be done from the balcony, through window etc. if a safe and clean waterbody is available nearby whose water you deem pure enough to be offered to a god, then take water from that body, offer it to the lord and pour it such that it falls back into the said body. bow to the sun, and return to your schedule.

TO BE DONE ON SUNDAYS / AUSPICIOUS OCCASIONS: (depending upon level of commitment, and financial influence)

if you wish to pray to the sun god and engage in mantra chanting, then you may establish a copper statue of the god, no bigger than your finger (or the thumb if you are a busy person and may have to skip this duty at times. large statues when unkempt curse the native for dishonour of the god.)

following is a good reference statue, but it is nearly the size of your hand and will require appropriate keeping.

discipline for taking care of statues of gods. not looking after the statue of gods is extremely inauspicious. if you do not have the discipline or time to dedicate some time in the morning / early evening to worship, then don't keep the statue in your home.

i will make a post about this if anyone needs additional or personal tips regarding idol worship, or how you can adjust it better with western culture. do lmk via asks.

remedies that can be done occasionally / weekly :

offer the sun god the flowers associated with him (lotus, nag champa, hibiscus, palash), red coloured garments (it can be any new textile, even unsewn cloth can be offered), wheat grains (100 g) and copper metal if within means. all of these items are to be distributed amongst brahmins (temple priests) to appease the god.

havan can be done on sundays.

rice cooked with jaggery can be fed to brahmins (temple priests); you can ask the local temple priests about it, or if any isckon centre is present, then the authorities present there will be able to guide you well about how you can do so. if temples are present locally, then you can simply donate the items / food in a tupperware to the temple priest. the raw materials can also both be offered (raw rice grains and jaggery.

a cow with calf be given in charity. (don't go around thinking this has to be done weekly 😭 do it once, or maybe once every four-five years if you have that devotion and money)

feeding birds on your own with wheat grains is another excellent remedy. offering water to them in shallow vessels to prevent smaller animals from drowning in it is great, too. if sparrows are there, then it is an even better omen. you can simply offer money to institutions who take care of birds, as well.

a general advise which is applicable to everyone, regardless of the sun's strength in the birth chart is to keep a hanging sun ornament at the entrance of the house / office / studio etc. it is highly auspicious and prevents the entry of bad energies into the house. if placed inside the house, it should be hung on the east wall.

This is a very Jewish answer, but it depends!

To be sure, many Jews interpret the relevant texts as forbidding any sort of divination, but also many do not. Many Talmudic scholars read the texts as only forbidding certain types of divination. Which ones specifically are forbidden depends on who you ask, but most of them aren't really used anymore. Or it could be a restriction against the way it's used, such as idolatry or using divination as a substitute for exercising your own free will.

There's also a good bit of history relating to folk divination in Jewish practice, casting lots being my favorite example (I don't know how to do it the Jewish way but once I have the time, I'd really like to learn.)

It really just boils down to the way you practice Judaism and how you interpret the texts, I think. Jewitches has an excellent article that goes into more detail!

But, as you can tell from the topic otd, God put on my heart to address the secrecy and vulnerability of a secret sin not a lot of Christians think about nor do we normalize talking about. Yes, masturbating (the act of pleasuring our erogenous zones by ourselves using whatever in order to 'self-soothe' or climax) falls under lust and sexual immorality. So why don't we hear this often?

Truly, I think it's because not only is this topic still seen as taboo like homosexuality or sexual/drug addictions but also bcuz when the topic comes up, our minds automatically connect it to p*rn. And while a majority of the p*rn audience is men, that doesn't mean women and GIRLS don't struggle with mast either.

But another thing is the world has normalized it for so long because the temptation first (for some) occurs when puberty kicks in and hormones start changing, so for girls, that's when we first get our periods and are regulated by estrogen and hormone levels that affect our physicalities and emotions. Apart of that emotion is one of need or yearning to be loved and be with someone -- no matter what prompts that want in us.

So is the need sinful? Of course not!

Because that's what God created in both men and women -- the need for e/o out of desire and love. However, the agenda that the enemy has normalized in the world is the acting on our hormones thru touching ourselves, when this only encourages us to worship ourselves and our pleasure first, depending on our own emotions and understanding to calm/distract ourselves before giving anything to God (the giver of all good things). And once we find that type of pleasure to keep to ourselves, we seek out that thrill to recreate the immense dopamine we feel when we come (yea I'm too lazy to write climax again, mb😭).

For guys and girls, that may be p*rn, but for girls, the temptation could also stem from books (romance or not) that contain smut, media like tvs and films that contain sexual scenes/language, sexual type of music that tempts you to fantasize about certain things, and even our own thoughts when we allow to lust over attractive people or people who do certain things to sexualize or objectify themselves (e.g. thirst traps).

Obviously, I don't say ANY of this to shame anyone, because personally, I've struggled with mast for five years now (even after being saved!) and I'm only 16! This don't mean sexual desire ain't holy, because it's absolutely a beautiful aspect of marriage BUT we can't replace love with our hands (or toys), y'all. We can't replace God with coming. That's not a form of self-love. That's a form of slavery to our flesh, even if you don't do it often. We don't understand what type of spiritual effect that has on US, because mast is NOT Holy Spirit led!

And tbh, even if you desire to stop finally and stop struggling with mast, it takes us surrendering to God and WANTING to give it up for God to reveal how/why we cling onto it out of loneliness, trauma, internal/external sexualization, hypersexuality, and other things like that in order to heal us and renew our minds, cuz mast can affect our thought patterns as well!

That's why Colossians 3 is SUCH a great read because it reminds us that we're not bound to our flesh BUT the POWER of Jesus! He's so sovereign that His death BEEN defeated the effect of sins on our lives and relationships with one another and God. So understand the journey to being disciplined and having self control ALL depends on the One who's gifted us self control though the Holy Spirit (2 Tim. 1:7)! It takes giving your whole heart, mind, body, and soul to God in FAITH to be patient and loving with yourself as He is with us!

No, this journey ain't gonna be perfect or clean or linear because God don't expect it to be. We're human and imperfect and still weak in our flesh, but that don't WEAKEN God's love for us. Be bold and blunt in your truths, even when it feels uncomfortable starting out, and be real real about what you like and crave and want to God because you'll be amazed with how He can hold that too!

I know you guys are monotheists, and I’m curious. Are you guys banned from acknowledging other gods *exist* or just from praying to them?

That's a great question anon!

The answer (as in many Jewish theological discussions) is that it depends.

One school of thought is that other gods possibly exist and that if they do, they are the gods of other peoples and other cultures, and that our Gd is the Gd of the Jewish people specifically. However, directly acknowledging the existance of other gods does fall under idolatry in this case (remind me to tell the story of my accidental idolatry one day)

Another school of thought is that the Gd of the Jewish people (our Gd) is the only one that exists at all (if any do). Here idolatry/worship/acknowledging of other gods is also very much not allowed even though they don't exist. The Golden Calf is an example here.

A third school of thought is that it doesn't matter whether other gods exist or not because we are in a Covenant with the Jewish Gd and the Jewish Gd is (at most) one, and that's what is important and matters to us as a Jewish people.

There is a fourth minority school of thought (that the first three all disagree with) that other gods exist, and Jews can acknowledge and even work with them so long as they don't venerate them. I will repeat, though, that this is a minority opinion, and I'm not too familiar with this perspective personally.

Burps it's me again can you give me some cropsy stuff because I fear he's rarely talked about becaude they didn't do much with his character 🙏🙏

Yeah sure, I got you! 🤓☝🏽

There are a lot of things I like about Cropsy's character and that I find interesting. I'll try to compilate it all in an exceedingly long post, so get cozy buddy! In this essay I'll talk about Cropsy individually and his place in the narrative as well. I can't avoid comparing and contrasting him with Luther in order to do so, but I promise I kept it somewhat Cropsy-centric.

Also I'll be mostly talking about the musical, and when I talk about the movie or the game I'll sinalize it and explain, since I know not a lot of y'all have been crazy enough to check out old shit like that.

1. The Bitch Is Paranoid (He Clearly Has Reasons To, But Still)

First thigs first, let's yap about how this character is introduced.

Both in the musical and the movie, the first scene we get to know Cropsy better is after that mysterious phone call. That sets the mood for how both him and Luther are, how their personalities contrast and crash. Cropsy seems to be deeply worried about what they just did and the strong enemies they made, even if The Riffs don't know it *yet*.

It is not unusual to have this kind of character around the reckless individuals, as they serve to remind the audience of the uneasiness that lies beneath the layer of carelessness demonstrated by the character in focus, and they do so in a comedic and sometimes irritating way. Still, that brings the question: what would be his reasons to trail along with a leader that contradicts his conducts so much?

I have some theories that go all the way from long-term, since childhood friendship to ill contained infatuation, but I think idolatry would fit well enough. He can't help but pointing out his concerns even knowing that they'll go mostly ignored, and even when they are, he still follows Luther. I don't know about you, guys, but I wouldn't subject myself to that unless I was blinded by some sort of emotional dependency, which makes me think that...

Well, there's a lot of unaddressed mental health issues going on there. Specifically about Cropsy, — and this part will get a little personal, but hear me out —, my head canon is that he has OCD. I say that because my father has it too and what Cropsy says and the way he acts kinda reminds me of my dad when I was growing up and he didn't know he had it, didn't treat it at all and would just drive himself INSANE with his own mind.

There are some ~flavors of OCD, as in it can manifest differently depending on the case, but the common denominator (from what I researched and from what my father told me, I'm not a professional) would be excessive, obsessive negative thoughts that lead to compulsions. These are driven by fear, usually fear of harm; things like thinking your own family is trying to poison you, or that some crazy accident/attack will happen if you don't check the locks at least 5 times before going to bed. Some of them are actually based on real reasons to worry, *but not that much*, and some make absolutely no sense outside of "the compulsion's logic" (eg: "If I don't count my steps I'll be fucking killed by an undercover FBI agent")

Explanation given, back to Cropsy.

As I said earlier, he doesn't seem to be capable of not stressing. Since he's Luther's second, it is reasonable for us to assume they've been partners for a long time, thus him knowing it's literally useless to keep hitting the same key like that. He can't avoid it, though, because anxiety is another symptom of OCD :)

In "A Track Fire And A Phone Call", Luther sounds calm at first and we can hear laughter in the background, indicating that the rest of the Rogues are also tranquil and playful, but the little "We set?" Cropsy lets out as soon as Luther puts the phone down is filled with anxiety. He's not buying the general mood of his commemorating friends. When Luther tells him the Riffs are after the Warriors, he's still worried and tries to urge Luther to the fact that letting the Warriors run free for too long is bad business for them.

That's what annoys Luther, showing yet again how their personalities crash.

In the movie this scene is a bit longer (the motherfucker is casually eating some snacks while Cropsy freaks out), and when Cropsy raises his voice ("yeah, right, I'm worried! I just don't want the Riffs down on my ass!" I'm concerned with the fact I memorized that) Luther just kind of nudges him away like a big annoying mosquito, condescendingly tells him that "we can do some looking too, oughta make you feel better" and very unkindly pushes him to the sidewalk (then he terrorizes a poor innocent bystander woman but anyway)

All of the times Luther loses his patience with him are because, in his opinion, he's worrying too much, so I think this trait is worth mentioning.

2. "Yup" ☺☝🏻

In the Finale, some of his most iconic lines include a bunch of yups, and he delivers them in the best way possible: unintentionally interrupting Luther's evil monologue. These are both indicatives of Cropsy's still present anxiety that makes him not able to wait his leader finish talking before nervously agreeing with him AND a foreshadowing to the disorganization of The Rogues during the last fighting scene.

But I want to use this section to talk about Cropsy's supportive and *enabler* behavior.

At first sight, one might think Cropsy's a less worse of a human being because he seems to disagree/not be so into this whole thing Luther's doing, but... is that really so? Hateful people are usually cowards. The only reason racists will casually be saying and doing atrocious thing is precisely because they believe they'll face no retaliation. Sometimes they do that to test weather you're one of them or not: silence is not a negative.

Right after being a little defiant, Cropsy is already singing with Luther. He isn't fully into this stuff, true, but he's clearly what allows it to happen in the first place. I'm ignoring the rest of the crew for a sec here to affirm that because Luther's always doing exactly it to address Cropsy only.

As for a conclusion, there's not much left to say. And that's how I feel about the irl scenarios, too. Like... what is there to say about someone so coward they dont wholeheartedly agree with something fucked up but still silences and allows it? Just stop, Ig. Not that I believe it's that easy to change someone's mind.

3. Whatever The Fuck This Is

So, first of all, toxic relationship much? I think it's time for us to talk about the insanely abusive way Luther treats Cropsy and how he absolutely did NOT deserve to be held like that. Since this is not very clear or present in the musical, for it is a concept album and thus has its genre limitations, I'll be talking about the game.

I watched it all. At first, only the Rogues cutscenes because I'm writing fanfic and needed that, but I ended up watching a full 7 hours long gameplay. All that to say not all of the gang leaders are portrayed as execivelly violent towards his subordinates, that's a Luther thing (well maybe the Destroyers' leader too, but that a whole other story). Having eliminated the possibility of the game/movie trying to "make a point about gangs", I think we can safely say this is just another way of showing how awful Luther is.

If you want me to go into details about the cutscenes I refered to, just lmk, but since it's 3 am and I want to finish this before going to sleep, I'll just say they're various instances of Luther scaring the shit out of Cropsy for fun, pointing a gun to his head, hiting and pushing him around like a punch bag and just generally being a dick.

As I was talking to @almosthonest the other day, I think the fact that Luther does all this shit to Cropsy and Cropsy only has to do with him freaking out about the fact that he actually trusts him and probably even holds more caring and soft feelings towards him, even if they're kept hidden. Homosexualism aside, Cropsy himself is also very troubled, huh?

Does he see so little self-worth that he thinks he has to take it obediently? I mean, he does complain about this stuff sometimes, but he never does as much as fight back or actually calls Luther out. Or, Idk. Quit. I know that would be dangerous as you can't just unsubscribe from a fucking gang, but it's not impossible either. And the fact that he's Luther's second indicates that he never tried (he wouldn't be alive if he did so and failed).

I can see why the other members are still there: they seem to be as reckless and careless as Luther, but Cropsy's not exactly vibing with them, is he?

This fool's in love, in a way or another. That's the explanation for me. There's another recent post of mine in which I'm talking to @desmon1995 and we even go as far as to add the incredible sauce of 💫daddy issues💫 to it (I'll link it when I wake up) (if I remember). (Updates: I did)

Every time I think about how does Luther even have allies, I remember how manipulative people can be and how difficult it is for their victims to get out of it. I'm *not* talking about ideology here because agreeing/being neutral/allowing Cyrus' assassination to happen was totally on Cropsy. He's not a victim in *this* regard. But the abuse? Yes, he is. Buddy's going through the gang equivalent of domestic abuse, and yet he's still holding Luther like something to be protected in the end.

Luther is just kind of (pathetically) clinging to him as the Riffs approach. I wonder if deep down Cropsy's actually relieved that he's no longer being pushed away because Luther's too scared to do so and needs him right there. Shames on them. They're ridiculous.

4. Last and most definitely least...

Cropsy's lactose intolerant. This HC came from this one time I posted about eating chocolate to get rid of my cramps, but actually making it worse as my incompetent body doesn't know how to deal with lactose, and someone (whom I shall remember when I wake up) said it "might be Cropsy".

I don't know about being dumb and forgetting something so crucial abt himself like that, guys, but I'm totally adopting the lactose intolerant part. And yes I chose to conclude this post with that, from all things. I don't know if I have more to say. I just like this a lot. Good night 👍🏼

giving black people their autonomy and respecting them for creating so much of the culture in the world. respecting aspects of black culture without co-opting it (AAVE is a common example, but many others are out there)

telling cops and feds to suck on it crazy style

being part of multiple different subcultures (gyaru, goth, mandrake, punk, etc)

intersex people being de-pathologized and the inclusive definition of intersex; perisex people having to shut up and listen

the FULL de-association of sex and gender— or at the very least, people coming to a understanding that sex is not the only thing that affects gender-based treatment and experiences.

riots and violent protests (with focus on unionizing and fellowship. dont post it online, dont answer questions, stay safe)

coping with fiction in private without exposing it to potential triggerees or minors / creating online spaces for such without advertising it for minors to be included in it. MINORS DON'T BELONG WITH NSFW

nuance & working with what one realistically has in order to achieve peace within one's own life & circumstances

AGAINST THE FOLLOWING

policing identities — e.g.: safequeers/ "anti goodfaith", a hefty amount of queer exclusivity discourse [save for cultural exclusivities and such], gender-sex association/trans-centric bioessentialism, etc.

the (mis)use of AFAB & AMAB as "female" and "male" in any sense at all, because these terms are rooted in intersex genital mutilation and bioessentialism from doctors — please use these terms instead: ONE (link), TWO (link).

radicalized "liberalism" — e.g.: radicalized feminism, trans exclusionist "queer liberation", intersexist "trans liberation", sex-gender villification ("all men are evil", "boys will be boys", "women are all fake", etc.), idolatry of "leftist" political figures, etc.)

the idea that feminism inherently excludes masculine people, men, people with male/masculine genders, wolffipathian individuals or anyone who isn't an "adult human female". feminism is inherently intersectional, feminism is for everyone.

any sort of bioessentialism; eugenics, ableism/sanism, intersexism, "all males are evil" rad BS, and the like.

syscourse & fakeclaiming — anti endo rethoric namely; i am against the blind usage of the DSM to bind people's health issues or other similar experiences due to how the psych sector is still MAJORLY tainted by eugenics and sexism. forcing people to remember trauma is dangerous and you should care less about this. i have OSDD{1A} and it does not concern me if someone uses this or that term for what they have going on. endogenic is a community label, not a medical term!

the separation of the queer community & intra communities (the "LGB" without the T groups, lesbian separatism/gold star lesbianism/similar lesbexclus movements, intersex de-queering, trans sex-essentialism, and many more similar cases)

praising politicians and treating them as saviours — none of these crusty elderly folk will ever give a decent damn about us. they use us for political gain and power

the focus on attacking perpetrators/abusers instead of shoeing support and care for a victim. i don't trust anyone who immediately reacts to a person being a victim by wanting to hurt their abuser INSTEAD OF SUPPORTING THE VICTIM.

the public and untagged/unfiltered posting of taboo/"dead dove" fiction that may very well cause harm to folks nearby — e.g.: consensual abuse or taboo roleplay posts with no filterable tags or warnings, being a public 100% open account while posting such things, not being responsible about the content you consume/reshare/create, etc.

the glorification & normalization of contact/acting on paraphilias that involve non-consenting parties (animals, children, corpses, etc.); exclusively where harm is done to real beings, alive or not, intelligent or not, human or not.

most of any ship related discourse. i dont care about your headcanon about any character or pairing, keep ot to yourself. i dont care if you ship those characters. some of you lack in common sense and literacy

puritism culture — e.g.: "sexuality is bad", anti-kink rethoric in queer spaces, demonizing taboo fantasies, prioritizing fictional characters' comforts over real life people, etc.

anti-recovery ideals — radiqueer/xenosatanist ideLs, pro-c for harmful or dangerous paras, the promotion of any self harm, encouraging delusions AND/OR forcefully reality checking delusions, ed/sh online spaces, "one size fits all" 'recovery'... and the like.

the idea that people's brains are different with basis on their sex, gender, race, religion, culture or the like — these ideas are rooted in inhumane sciences/eugenics, [inter]sexism, mysogyny, racism, and a lot more putrid things that are similar.

communists that overly focus on theology and philosophy instead of immediate action for the sake of community and union (+ USSR bootlickers/communist party ball-fondlers. these are politicians. they did not love or care about ANY minority)

flag discourse — toothpaste flag, aroace "pisspool" flag, and similar; this does not apply to genuine criticism against flags such as the misogynistic racist's stolen lipstick flag OR the racist person's bigender flag
