Saja Boys

They respect the demons. Demons are already struggling as they are, and they just didn't know that you belong to them.

Likewise, the demons respect the Saja Boys. They'll comply with their wishes. If anything, you just earned the protection of all demons.

If Gwi-Ma learns about you, well, I don't think he'd give a darn — one soul is a small price to pay for billions. (Just have to wait 'til they're sick of you or something. Or old age. Old fire's waited this long.)

Huntrix

First and foremost, they'd need to distract you from seeing the weapons in their hands and the demon itself. It's probably the smoothest thing though, and you won't ever see it 'cause they're literally doing it behind your back.

Oops, you dropped your wallet. You crouch down and at the same time the Huntrix member throws her weapon at the demon. You stand up again, seeing her innocent smile.

Yerp, just like that. They struggle more than the Saja Boys unfortunately.

Idk if it's because I'm kind of.. bluugh.. but I'm craving eggs on toast rn but I cant tell if its because I actually want it or because my body is aware it's a comfort/easy/struggle food idk how body/mental stuff works

knows about the game vaguely, has never played it but hes very open to it if you offer and the two of you are already an item

though he will reject you if you two arent, even if hes already crushing on you. he DOES want to do it but i do think hes a little wary about anything like that that can lead to anything romantic or otherwise due to him still eating up his feelings over lilith

total sweet tooth just like his daughter, can see him being an almond crunch enjoyer!

when he does agree he does his best to make sure you get just as much of the pocky as him, very careful when kissing you because hes hyperaware of his teeth and the sound of them crunching and totally breaking the pocky has him a little on edge

but asides from that he has a lot of fun with it! too... "shy"(?) to ask to do it again, though

shy is likely not the right word... he wants to do it again but he doesnt want to make you feel obligated and hes still a little weird about asking for affection from you due to other feelings

ADAM

does not know the game but hes on board if you offer it up and explain what it is

not very picky about flavors but i can see him enjoying the original a lot more over the others!

total tease through the whole thing, will try to fully lean into a kiss if you let him

like other characters will probably just give you a short light hearted peck, but adam is very likely to give you something a little more if you let him

god forbid if you get some chocolate or crumbs on your face because he WILL do something

loves it if you get all red and flustered

LUTE

she doesnt really like sweets, but she is open to trying it with you if the two of you are already dating. very unlikely for her to agree if you two arent

does NOT know what to expect so you might have to explain what the game is so she knows what shes agreeing to

very competitive, tears through her half and probably dives into your half before you can realize whats going on

kind of crashes into your mouth a bit because shes so into it, doesnt mean to be so rough with you

pulls away very fast when she realizes what she just did, do not tease her about it because she will think youre genuinely criticizing her

can see her being a cookies n creme enjoyer if she were to ever crave the treat

EMILY

knows what the game is and loooooooves it! she thinks its sweet! pun intended!

agrees instantly if you offer it up, but shes likely to ask to play the game with you if she ever gets her hands on a box of pocky!

very giddy, keeps accidentally breaking the stick because shes just so into it, you guys have to keep starting over

quick little peck at the and and she feels so proud of herself for getting a little kiss from you- dont expect much else, though, the second the kiss happens shes pulling back and letting her energy out.. shes more controlled if you two are well into your relationship

VELVETTE

hands down she is a crunchy strawberry enjoyer im sorry i dont make the rules. i think she might the cookies n creme flavor as well!

knows exactly what the game is, she spends a lot of time on the internet monitoring trends that shes seen it

not at all shy about it either, she knows what shes getting into and shes not going to let herself look like some flustered wreck- doesnt matter if you two are dating yet or not, shes going to stride in with pride

will tease you if you get embarrassed, bonus if youre the one who even suggested the game- she does this even if youre dating. actually shes more likely to do it if youre dating

similar to vaggie in the previous part, shes not going to go too fast so she doesnt look too eager... actually i can see her take her time just to toy with you

ROSIE

she may be a cannibal but i can see her having a bit of a sweet tooth! she just doesnt indulge in... actual proper sweets all that much!

not aware of the game but is open after you explain it to her, shes not easy to fluster so shes going to be very composed and collected during the game

if youre the opposite though, its going to encourage her to take the lead

quick and polite kiss, makes sure not to let her teeth cut you up... theres a time and a place for that but this is not the time OR place!

lets you have the rest of the box if you'd like, though she doesnt deny any extra pieces you give to her

teases you for getting so flustered over a game you suggested, but she doesnt mean any harm behind it

I NEED SLIGHTLY MORE THAN THIS FOR A PROMPT like 80% of my headcanons are angsty (i will absolutely dump paragraphs if i have enough of a prompt because thats what i do whenever we get any new crumb of pressure lore)

in terms of angst my aus are way worse than my headcanons and I'm not too sure what hcs to pull up so you get au infodump since they're more like headcanons about what i think would happen in slightly diff endings of pressure instead of true AU's

also i got a little carried away this is practically rough draft fanfiction i'm so sorry

ALL THREE of my AU's actually kind of work in tandem to explore how I feel Sebastian works as a character, I think no matter what, he doomed by the narrative to never get what he truly wants or have a perfect happy ending.

I'm only going to get into the specifics of one, but the rundown of all 3

Innovation Humanization (lowkey this fic is abandoned im too busy) Sebastian escapes the Blacksite during the power outage and Innovation hijacking a sub for him, he manages to bring Painter with him. He arrives at Innovation Arctic Base, and they go through the process of bringing him back to mostly human again over the next 6mo-year. He has to re-experience his greatest traumas ALL OVER again, but this time done by people that actually kind of care about him as a human being.

This is basically my "good ending" for him, he isn't a fish anymore, but he never gets his legs back. He has painter, and he has time to deal with his trauma. (I think innovation would have a therapist, and thats really the only therapist he COULD talk to about what he went through at urbanshade, normal therapy really wouldn't work.. you need the one that works at a kooky mad scientist base. He may or may not be able to see his family again, depends how evil you think urbanshade would be (if they'd hunt them down to find him so they can neutralize him)

Instantly Human He gets to be, perfectly, how he was before all this started. But he has to escape the Blacksite. Which is HARD AS FUCK.

This is a bit of spoilers for what part 2 to the comic is gonna be but, he has to knowingly leave behind Painter to die (he can't carry a computer as a person, too heavy). That's a "choice" he has to make. He also has no evidence that anything ever happened to him. Personally I feel like not even having a scar from trauma that fucked you up that bad would be upsetting bc it's like it didn't even happen yk? But also I know it is probably what he wants.

Teleported Home Lopee teleports Sebastian back home as his "reward" instead of turning him human like the IH au. Sebastian arrives at home in the middle of the day to his mother cleaning in the kitchen. I'll get into the details after this quick rundown

He gets to see his mom instantly! He doesn't have to deal with escaping the Blacksite! But . He's probably stuck as a fish and in hiding for a whiiile until they can contact Innovation for help. He also involuntarily leaves Painter behind to die in this one as well. He never got to even say goodbye or sorry. Painter is just wondering where Sebastian went (before he inevitably gets killed in a few days/weeks). And he's haunted by that (but also MAD at lopee). He let the kid down. More than let the kid down, he could do literally nothing about this lil guy he was protecting, dying an inevitable death.

You can't have everything Sebastian… Something must suck in some way… Urbanshade has permanently fucked your life

ok now for the details on the teleported home au this is practically a fanfiction that i didn't want to rewrite into actual writing because thats hard so forgive the like, swaps between writer thoughts and writing i know its weird 😭but i hope fun to read regardless!!

SO! Sebastian gets teleported home, Lopee is nice enough to make sure he's crouched down so his head doesn't go through the ceiling.

i dont know if ill ever do final art for this so you get my ms paint diagrams i hope you can bear with me. i gotta establish the setting here, it's in SoCal, middleish of the day. Sebastian was last in the norwegian sea at 9pm (yes this is an accurate time difference im autistic)

His mom is utterly terrified and screams and runs outside upon making eye contact with him. Who wouldn't?! Sebastian is kind of dazed and confused for a moment, he's HOME, and his MOM is 10 feet in front of him. One second he was in a chilly damp concrete box with menacing facility breaking down noises all around him, the next he's in a warm comforting home in the middle of the day with bird calls and shit. That's an insane transition.

He has to think quickly and chase after her even if he's really confused, he can't have the cops called on him and his identity exposed. I don't think she would fully recognize his voice, I choose to believe fishseb sounds different from humanseb due to the experimentation messing with his vocal chords/overall resonance. But his tone is similar to her.

She doesn't want to look at this Thing that's leaning outside of the doorway of her house, but, .. he does oddly remind her of her son.. but he's been declared dead for over 12 years now.. but the hair.. the look in his eyes. He honestly looks like he's about to cry to her , subtly trembling, hunched over like he doesn't want to scare her, but his arm weakly outreached like he doesn't want her to run away.

He's entirely conscious of the fact that he really shouldn't be seen outside right now so he's trying to stay mostly inside the doorway. He went after her on pure survival instinct/adrenaline. Hes so keenly aware of how utterly terrifying he is to her right now and feeling Miserable about being a creature a million times worse than he normally is because he's been thrust into ice cold reality of what he is. Which is something that humans should be terrified of

He didn't even get a chance to ease his mom into it, she's DOUBLY scared because there's a THING/GUY in the house and not just because he's a monster

He asks for her to come back inside so they can talk, she's still really scared but wants to believe its him. He's intentionally moving slowly while backing inside the house to not scare her more.

He doesn't sit on the couch since he's worried his weight might pop the springs (even just the upper torso) so he's just curled up in a pile near it trying to make himself look as unthreatening as possible. And he's ALSO trying to calm down like he needs a moment to breathe and take in his surroundings

She walks in all the way and sees him. He's truly trying not to scare her.. isn't he.. Sebastian was sweet like that.. She takes a breath to steady herself and asks him if he wants something to drink since she really needs a glass of water to help clear her mind

"Heh.. whiskey?.. I know you have it up in the cupboard above the freezer. Used to water it down back in the day. I never knew if you ever noticed." Sebastian was intentionally trying to bring up information that would help her believe he was himself, but also he could really use a drink.. and a smoke.. but he knew his mom hated those. If only she knew he used to sneak out to smoke years ago.

His mother just looks at him with an indiscernible look. Did he say the wrong thing? His ears pin back, he clears his throat. "Water is fine, I was uh..joking about the whiskey." (felt like this dialogue i wrote was really in-character/cute so I had to include it)

I think when they sit down with their waters to talk he, he explains the entire timeline of what happened to him. And once he starts explaining the experimentation she's trying to be quiet to be respectful to hear the whole story but she is absolutely crying. And she goes in for a hug around when he hits the point where he was promoted to Mr-p.

He can feel her shaking when she hugs him, she's still scared of him, but he knows she's trying so hard to comfort him and ignore her instinctual fear.

And they continue to hug as he explains the rest as well as the lockdown and Lopee teleporting him. He leaves out any details about him killing people, can't have mama knowing he's an actual killer now.. I think that his mom knew he was innocent and he is a victim of the legal system

I think Sebastian probably goes to bed around 9-10pm every day because I wouldn't be surprised if the Blacksite had him up really early for work assignments often. So after he talks with his mom for a bit he's noticeably really sleepy because it is Past his bedtime in Norway and ALSO because for the first time in a long time he's actually relaxed. He isn't in fish prison hell anymore!

They generally just hang out for a while after talking, and he passes out from exhaustion. She tries to put a blanket on him, but he violently jumps back while also shoving her away since it felt like another expendable climbing on him. (Side tangent I think he has an unnatural tendency for violence from his fishes in Addition to anger issues caused by ptsd)

He feels awful and profusely apologizes and they make up :)

that's about all i wrote for the start of it, but i had some smaller thoughts about later on

I realized he needs to eat a LOT and it'd be a major financial strain on his mom, I did the math and his calorie needs are like ~14-16k a day (THIS IS REALLY ROUGH but genuinely calculated with formulas and like muscle volume calculations ive done + adjusted to what i think makes sense, this is the Lower end of what i think it'd be. He might need more. It'd be more like 10k cal a day if he's true cold blooded. I feel like character wise it makes sense for him to be medium blooded but true cold blooded would really help him in terms of being Alive)

She basically has to keep him fed on costco rotisserie chicken because that is the absolute cheapest protein she can get (buying a whole frozen cow is still way more per oz than costco chicken) So he costs at minimum ~1000$ a month to feed.

He would be very cognizant of this and try not to eat too much and basically half starve himself. On like day 3-4 he is noticeably really, really out of it. All he can really think about is food and his mom is really worried about him. He really doesn't want to tell her but he'd eventually cave and be like 😓i need to eat like triple the amount of food you've been giving me. so she locks in and gets him some more food. Might have to take out a loan 😭 They really try to get him to innovation ASAP after this because she really can't afford to feed him for more than a few months.

I think he would appreciate it, especially if reader is not really the cuddly type as they get older. Maybe there will be a pat on the back or head, or a genuine smile, letting you know that even if you get older he will still love you the same. He will still fight for you, protect you and root for you- because you are his child. I like to imagine Ghiaccio too- he would try to ask what you are doing as you simply settle against him, just wanting to show some affection. he won’t complain once he realized what you were trying to do- on the inside he is like 🥺. You are his kid and he will not deny your hugs, wrapping his arms around you and leaving the laptop he previously worked on aside- even if Formaggio or Illuso come barging in, teasing him and all, he will make a note to beat them up later-but for now he will enjoy this moment between you two (Cue these two idiots wanting hugs too, but you will never catch Illuso alive saying that)

…speaking of fingers, my bread and butter, he’s beyond skilled with playing you. while he enjoys getting down to business, getting to leisurely spread you open and thrum against all your nerves gets him going. could spend hours having you laid out, in his lap, on the floor, wherever, just gently coaxing you open, wet, and pliant for himself.

off of that, he likes you best worn down to soft edges and weak desperation. getting to play the saviour, making you come undone, has him stiff in his pants.

he’s not one for being too harsh against you but push the right buttons and you’ll get a ‘dumb’ or ‘stupid’ here and there. Sunday doesn’t curse but he knows his way around how to make you feel inferior and looked down upon.

he likes the power play of staying fully and pristinely clothed while your completely nude, save for maybe a pretty collar he’s got you belled with. if you’re real trouble, say maybe a no good criminal causing problems on Penacony and once arrested you’re at his disposal and oh so pretty, he’ll find a nice muzzle to fix you with.

strikes, no pun intended, me as the type to have an affinity for riding crops over anything else for punishments. you’ll get the same sugarcoated degradation while he comments on how you’re not even good enough to be so close to his gloved hand that he just must use the crop!! I'm absolutely obsessed with the Creepy!Yuu thing and I'm absolutely ready to punt Yuu into the sun so I can swaddle reader in a fluffy blanket and plop my emotional support plushies and kitten with them istg-

But on another note, how do you thing the staff would act? Personally, I feel like Sam would IMMEDIATELY know something is off and would have at least a vague idea of what's happening because of the whole "friends on the other side" aspect he shares with Dr. facilier from Princess and the Frog. And I feel like Lucius would NOT like Yuu AT ALL, and Professor Trein might notice that. Crewel-sensei is very smart and pretty observant in my opinion, so I feel like he'd feel something was off as well.

Anyways YYAYAYAYY another ask!!! I was totally not waiting for these because these were actually one of my proudest work so far- even if i gave small crumbs and chunks of it!! I love love love you and the rest of my followers soooo much!!! Thank you for staying with me!!

Anyway, to your questions... [srry im half awake after writing a poem for an assignment wth]

Sam WOULD be the first to know. I mean, friends on the other side? Yes, ur defintely right!!! Actually, I'm still in the progress of Yuu's hcs, since no one is able [or atleast, hasn't] sent me or made any hcs for Yuu, so I'm doing it myself, I've made Yuu a bit too scarily smart... from my point of view. I've been watching true crime documantaries and honestly... I've actually based Yuu off with these doc videos on YouTube, mot literally of course!! Its like,,, the criminal [depends on which] is incredibly smart, and some cases weren't even solved yet and I've based Yuu of of the fact SOME missing or murder cases hasn't been active for years since it had long been since that incident happens,, until it happens again.

So, I've wanted to put Yuu on this pedestal where they struggle from Sam, to other students, emphasis on Sam btw. Yuu thinks he's annoying asf. Yuu might crash out from this guy.

And Sam has actually been helping reader, not openly of course. His 'friends' had warned him that humans in another world, perhaps might be dangerous than he might think... who knows? It hasn't been confirmed yet! But, Yuu's actions says otherwise...

The first time Sam saw Yuu and you, he knew there was something going on with that look in your eyes. It was empty, soulless, maybe? Your silence was deafening even when there were people speaking, the screams in your silence spoke about pretty much everything. So, he kept an eye out on Yuu. Never had he ever felt this strong sense of eerieness in the atmosphere prior to both the otherworlders arrival.

He wants to genuinely help you, even if it meant Yuu will spiral. But, he can't. Once Yuu comppetely spirals, what will they do? Unpredictability is an intriguing thing, but dangerous if used in a situation like this. Little imp, want something? Here, he'll give it to you, space and comfort if you will. Oh, can't reach that? His friends could help you. He shouldn't stare at you with pity, but he wants you to be 'back to normal' where your soul can freely roam, not as a spectator, but an individual as your own. Now, how does he get this situation solved...?- ah, wait-

What was that? Whatever could have had happened within the other first year imps?

Crewel would think that Yuu acts weirdly around you, suspecting that they had a crush on you (well... they do but not in a cute way-) until they start smelling your hair.

Uhm.. so uh- whatthefuack is wrong with crushing nowadays? Hmph. Well, looks like he needs to... fix something. Etiquette, he means.

Until it gets serious, Crewel does not like that.

Never stalk anyone, especially a crush. No matter how much you want to personally know them. But this- this. Its different. He knows this isn't normal. This shouldn't be.

He tried confronting Yuu, but they kept avoiding the question. Its annoying, suspension wont help either. They live with you, how is he supposed to prevent that? Unless... well, he can always offer you another place to sleep in, ah.

With this bastard of a person, nothing really escapes them. Whatever they had done, it will never be forgiven. Not on this world. It won't be overlooked. He assures you.

Just, hang in there, please.

Trein's cat, Lucius. This cat HATES Yuu. No, despises, Yuu. The cat literally chooses to go on readers lap but NEVER on Yuu, under any circumstances. And Trein is wary, too. For his beloved cat, had avoided a supposed admirable and heroic student? Yes, he too has suspicions on Yuu, he just doesn't want to assume.

But, his heart has this vague aching whenever he sees this child's eyes. The feeling of loss and numbness to everything, just following orders even if simple. Oh sweet dear child, what had that monster done to you?

And everytime he says 'you'. You get reminded of 'you' not you. Who...

Who are you?

Trein wants to help you find your identity again, or at least, bring back the ones they had stolen. But he can't do that, so instead he tries to make you spark an interest in something from his world, telling you small stories about himself, and even tutoring you on what you can't understand. Even if it meant it hurts seeing your hollow eyes spacing out. Please don't do whatever he thinks you might do. He wants to help you, save you, and keep you from feeling fear and the loss of purpose.

Vargas. He wouldn't know it at first, pretty sure like, around maybe,,, b4 after, whent eh incident in Scarabia ends and everyone is back to school. Vargas would see you slightly shaken from the events. And when I mean events, I mean the time where Jamil had locked both you and Yuu in the same room. Hah, it was mad terrifying. Imagine, being stuck in the same room with the person who stalks you, messeges you in the dead of night, giving you unwanted letters, killing your friend, kidnapping, and identity stealing, literally. From you. All while they claim in that same breath that they're doing this because they love you. Loving you in general, means loving what makes you, well, you.

What did they do to you exactly? Nothing too explicit. Just creepy staring at you, Grim? Oh, well he got fucking scared as well. The room was kindaa dark tbh. Its always been like that whenever Yuu is present. When Yuu is walking through the halls, it gets a bit heavier, a bit dimmer, and a bit off-putting for those who can see through the deception and lies. But after b7? That, but a hundred times worse than what I've described. So-

Just imagine a fucker staring at you with their face dark, and a literal grin ear to ear type. Do you know how scary that shit is especially when Yuu's eyes go dark whenever they look at you??? Nah, I'd pass out.

Vargas at least saw the dim light in Yuu's face, yours was completely blank, your soul is literally hiding. He notices it in a way where Yuu slips up and shows a bit of a creepy tendency they like keeping it a secret.

Those notes they wrote and forgot in the grass, under the tree shade, nice and cool.

Uhm... not so nice! Thats a description note, not a love letter. What the heck.

So he reports this to the teachers meeting. Imagine to his disgust and surprise when the other staffs had picked up this specific Yuu behavior they saw with their own eyes. Or some proof of it. How do they tell Crowley that one of his students actually need to get arrested and get expulsion for their behavior? But, then again..

Yuu could use this pitiful 'homeless and exploited' excuse for the entire news to hear about it and spread the next day, risking the headmage's reputation. And that, that scares the headmage. So he may have had to turn a blind-eye for it. And Vargas won't let it slide. He can't hurt students, he knows that. So he'll make sure Yuu gets to struggle a little more in this institution even when thats all in his authority can do.

Hmmm... now the ghosts you say? Lets say,, they are little shits to Yuu.

Like, I imagine them since they are ghosts, they're very limited on what they can do. So all they can do is slow Yuu down or get in the way while reader runs away or locks themselves in their room. Tbh the ghosts r like Grim, providing comfort BUT can at least be a little bih towards Yuu since, what are they going to do??? Kill the ghosts or smth???💔

If it gets any serious know that they'll always be with you in every step, uhm... even if you go backwards,,, bestie, you gotta talk to someone, look here, see! Your crush wants to talk to you- thats not your crush?? Huh... yeah, okay, sureeee😒

im so interested with the stuff your setting up for daycare au sides and sunny! Do you have any more crumbs about hcs or stuff?

WHAAT OMG YEAH so I thought of the whole au because I really wanted to draw young human sides and sunny… I love them lots

So my thoughts were, they’re orphans with zero family anywhere and they end up going to the daycare daily because they’ve got nowhere else to go and sunstreaker doesn’t want to risk them getting separated by the system. They’re basically avoiding the authorities…

I’m still thinking about their origins, maybe they end up on the streets because they were abandoned when young, maybe they had foster parents and ran away.

Prowl is an important part of their story, though! He’s a local police officer and he knows 1) that they’ve been caught shoplifting before and 2) they don’t have an official place of residence or guardians. They usually hide out in the daycare whenever they see him on the “prowl” ehehe… Jazz is their accomplice because he finds out that they don’t have guardians first. He usually says hi to the cute officer and is like noo nooo I haven’t seen those kids ‘round here ^^

Ratchet eventually realizes they aren’t going back to any sort of home after the daycare closes each day and becomes their legal guardian.

I haven’t designed prowl yet but… soon 💗

Eddie could hear her before he saw anything.

It was only mere seconds after ringing the doorbell that he heard her excited squeal, followed by rapidly approaching footsteps, and then the sound of someone fumbling with the lock on the other side of the door. He braced himself as he heard that final click, and prepared for ambush as the door swung open. 

He barely had the chance to get out a ‘hello’ before she threw herself at him, and Eddie was certain that the only reason he didn’t fly backwards down the stairs was because he had faced this very situation many times before. He had his feet firmly planted to the ground, his knees bent, and his arms outstretched, all just in the right positioning to catch the four-year-old girl who had just launched herself at him. 

Andrea Uris giggled loudly as Eddie successfully caught her in his arms. “Uncle Eddie!” she squealed, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist and holding on to him tightly. 

The little girl was followed quickly by her mother- Patty Uris rushed into the foyer, worry on her face, but she seemed to relax a little at the sight of her daughter safely in the arms of her Uncle Eddie. “Andrea, what have I told you about answering the door?” Patty said, stopping to catch her breath. 

Andrea’s arms tightened around Eddie, and she turned to hide her face in his shoulder. Eddie looked down to her, and gave her a small tap on the back. “Andrea,” he said, in the most parent-like tone he could put on, “don’t ignore your mom.” 

“I have to wait until Mommy or Daddy checks who’s there before I open it,” Andrea mumbled after a few seconds. 

Patty nods, stepping forward to ruffle her daughter’s hair. “Good girl,” she said softly, which was enough for Andrea to stop hiding against Eddie’s chest. “Thanks again, Eddie,” Patty went on, turning her attention to Eddie. “I know it was such a short notice, so we really appreciate you coming- you really saved our as- our butts.”  

Eddie chuckled as Patty’s cheeks turned pink, Andrea staring at her in curiosity. “Of course,” he said, then bounced the little girl in his arms. “Besides, it’s been too long since we hung out, right Andrea?” 

Her mother’s language slip-up seemed to disappear right from her mind once Eddie spoke, as she turned back to face him with a big grin on her face. “Mm-hm!” she hummed, nodding eagerly. “Can we build a big fort like we did last time?” 

“I’ll tell you what- we can make an even bigger fort than we did last time.” 

“Yes!” 

Over the sound of Andrea going into great detail of all the games she wanted to play that night, Eddie heard another pair of footsteps swiftly approaching them. When Stanley Uris walked down the stairs and joined them in the foyer, Andrea turned and waved her arm at him to get his attention. “Daddy, guess what! Uncle Eddie said that we can build a fort together!” 

Only then did Stanley look up from buttoning his jacket, a puzzled look on his face. He froze in place, looking at Eddie as though he was a stranger and not one of his best friends for thirty years. “Eddie?” he finally said, then looked over to his wife. “You called Eddie?”

Patty nodded, the look on her face matching Stanley’s in confusion. “Yes, this morning I said that I would figure out a babysitter. Why? What is it?” 

“Oh, um… well, it’s just that-” 

Before Stanley could explain, Andrea screamed again. It caught Eddie so off-guard, that she somehow managed to squirm out of his arms and jump down to the ground, before running out of the open front door. Eddie turned quickly to try and catch her, but he stopped when his eyes landed on what- or, who, she was running to. 

“Uncle Richie!” Andrea wasted no time greeting Richie Tozier with the same koala-hug she had attacked Eddie with- though Richie didn’t appear to be quite as prepared for it. Eddie shook his head in disbelief, but couldn’t help a small laugh, as he watched the six-foot-three man stumble a few steps backwards from the force of a little four-year-old girl latching onto him.

Once he regained his balance and hoisted Andrea up in his arms to make sure she wouldn’t fall, he began to walk her back up to the house. “Andrea,” he said, his voice trying to be stern but it didn’t quite have an effect due to the smile on his face, “you know you’re not supposed to run out the front door like that- oh, Eds? What are you doing here?”

“I’m here to babysit,” Eddie explained. 

Richie stared blankly at Eddie for a moment, then looked over to Stanley. “I thought I was here to babysit,” he said. 

“I might have missed the part where Patty said she would take care of a babysitter,” Stanley admitted, looking from his wife to the two men in front of him. “I’m sorry for the confusion, guys, if you want-” “Mommy, Daddy!” Andrea interrupted, practically vibrating from excitement. “You didn’t tell me that Uncle Richie and Uncle Eddie were both coming over to play tonight! Oh, this is the best night EVER!"

when you both had first started dating, jake was quick to catch onto something he hadn't really expected from you, but nonetheless, it was adorable. you'd leave tiny teacup size plants around your shared apartment.

it wasn't obvious at first, but slowly he started to notice the crumbs of dirt here and there, and right next to said crumbs of dirt, he'd find small plants.

they were adorable! he didn't mention them at first, letting months go by as he'd quietly watch you water and coo at them as you dust off their fragile leaves, acting as if they were your children.

now that he thought about it, it was something he should've expected from you. you were a caring person, after all, so seeing you take care of small sprouts and vines reflected how you'd take care of him.

slowly but surely, he found himself caring for the plants when you were off at work too. the days he got back early from practice, he'd make sure to water all the plants around the apartment - which there were many of - so you could relax once you got home.

"mm, baby, lemme go water the plants real quick." you'd murmur one day after a recharging embrace provided by jake. his hugs always brought some life back into you on days specially like this, when you were stressed and exhausted.

"already did it for you love. dinner's ready too." he'd mumble as he hugged you a bit tighter, pressing a soft kiss to your head. you'd stay still for a few moments, the words still processing through your overworked brain.

"wait- huh??? you already watered them?" you'd ask in disbelief, craning your neck up to catch sight of the small smile adorning his lips.

"yeah baby. is it really that unbelievable that I would would take care of your plants? i'm hurt." he'd murmur, pouting, all just to see your reaction. his sweet little dove.

"no, no, of course not, I just... thank you, love." you'd whisper, pressing a light kiss to his neck in a silent way of showing your gratitude. small things like this that he did for you really just made your day.

and so when you came home one day and he led you up the stairs to your apartment's rooftop... wow, you would've never expected this.

flowers and crates decorated the floor of the concrete roof, bags of dirt and shovels in a corner, and when you looked up, you'd realized he'd strung up lights from each side of the roof on wooden dowels. all for you.

and for some reason - maybe because you were a sentimental person at heart, or just a crybaby - you broke into tears. cried and cried in his arms, until the two of you would be laughing on the ground as he kissed your tears away.

for jake, he just loved showing his love for you through actions and words, and it seemed his efforts had paid off.

so for the next few months, the two of you would spend time on the rooftop, planting new flowers and vines, and he'd occasionally bring layla, his dog, with you guys too (at least, when he could convince the land lord to let her in).

every month, you'd also both have a picnic, a blanket on the floor to shield your skin from the rough texture of the concrete, strawberries passed to one another, before lips met, and all you could taste afterwards was strawberries and him.

that's all you needed after all - just him.

and he could say the same for you.

I cannot stress enough how freakish they got in that bathtub, its so crazy

Bad isnt huge on hugging, but he likes to hold cucus hand/paw and occasionally lets him hug him... although cucurucho isnt a huge hug person either, so they work well in that way <3

Bad likes to bug the shit out of cucurucho when hes at his desk working in the same way cucurucho likes to watch bad build and talk to him/bug him occasionally, bad will sit at the desk with his head on cucus shoulder watching him work both bc its comfortable and also because its fucking up cucuruchos handwriting which bad thinks is funny

They have stupid sweet nicknames for eachother, "cucu" "rucho" "bad" "BB" "badboy" "dear" thats kinda cannon honestly but i think we could make it even sweeter. Get even sicker off it. Bad hits cucu with the "honey" and shit like that

Cucuruchos a huge Ass guy, he likes bads ass, he likes lookin at it. When bads building, cucu likes to sit back with a goddamn margarita and watch him from behind, he likes to walk behind bad when bad isnt following him somewhere, etc.

All the workers absolutely seethe when bad gets away with shit, and its so funny. One of the bunnies comes up to report that bads griefed spawn or killed someone important and cucu just sighs (dreamily) and sends them away, and days later its cleaned up or the dead persons replaced and bad just roams free, not even hearing about the repairs or replacement happening at all <3

Semi cannon, bad has described being with cucurucho as "Hes the main focus, everything just kind of.. fades into the background when im with him" and i like to imagine when cucus talking to him, bad just spaces out and just stares at him with big wet cat eyes... It usually ends with them both just staring at eachother bc also cannonically cucurucho really likes bads eyes, likes looking at them, finds them absolutely beautiful, "Your eyes are enough"

On top of that actually cucurucho finds bad very handsome/beautiful, generally appealing. This is also kinda cannon, cucurucho compliments bads eyes, his smile, his clothing, etc. Bad feels the same way about cucus but hes not a super material person, he likes bugging him for fun and all that lol. Bad also tends to show an affinity to people with pretty simple faces/expressions...

So, for most of the Links that are monsters, they were born as monsters/have been monster for a while. They’re very used to themselves I guess. Four still gets spooked a couple times while looking at a mirror, but he’s had a Minish ever since the end of his first adventure. Yes he’s been like that for his other two adventures, and I think that’s hilarious.

But Legend has only been a puppet ever since the end of AlbW. You see, I’d like to think using the Hyrulian Triforce to bring back the Lorulian Triforce would have…consequences to say the least. And I’m pretty sure that both Fable and Legend wished on the Triforce, so they both became puppets. And I hc that they were 15-16 around that time, and Legend is around 17-19 during LU. Point is, it’s only been 1-4 years since he’s his last adventure, but in the the AU it’s only been 1-2 years.

I was also thinking that he was meant to go on his Triforce Heroes adventure right before going through the time portal, and defying his “fate” released him from his puppet strings. Yeah, he still has a puppet body, but he’s no longer going through the motions now. Another related idea is that he still appeared to be a regular Hylian to everyone else, no one but Zelda could see the strings and joints and the wooden-like body they were cursed with. But now that the strings are broken, everyone can now see him for what he was cursed to become-a monster.

So he’s not having a good time when they all meet up. And he quickly realizes everyone can see him as a puppet, which freaks him out. And he’s still a teen, and teens tend to freak out about stuff more easily than people at other ages(ha…). So he’s antagonizing everyone-but not too much-to try to cope with the everything. He eventually starts to relax, because almost everyone else is more of a freak than he is. But he can also almost immediately clock Warriors as a human. A human who is trying to pretend to be a normal hylian-what Legend wishes he was-so he’s on the first and is the most consistent on Legend shit list. He quickly realizes that yeah, that’s not a cool thing to do but he can’t help but want to mess with him. 1) he’s fun to mess with 2) he genuinely likes Wars company and 3) he’s still a bit jealous of him. He feels real guilty about that last point, but it’s not like Wars will ever know so 😎ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ

-loves chaste kisses with you. God, their lips are so soft, and their eyes become hooded and they’re so beautiful. Him dipping down when you wish to kiss him, allowing you to take the lead but sometimes he just pushes against you more in an attempt to melt into you.

-will always ask you to text when you get home. Sometimes they worry they sound annoying but they’ll look at you again and again worriedly, contemplating about asking. If you reassure them you will, or offhandedly mention it, they relax.

When it comes to the coaching moves, def in agreement that Indy doesnt deserve good things. What do you make of who the Valks named HC? Seems a good hire to me at a quick glance, but Im also leery of anyone who might be involved w the Aces lawsuit ordeal (tbf Im not super well informed on that, but dont believe Ive ever seen her referenced w that stuff). Yeah objectively I dont feel that a (random) late winning run/playoff push, external circumstances w the standings aside, was worth dropping your odds of getting #1/Paige from like 30 to 10 %. Still struggle to understand why they ended up trying to fight the path that established itself early on. Granted kind of unexpected and extreme circumstances, but still, lemons to lemonade if you will. Im not feeling eager for the draw next month..

Honestly it will be interesting now to see/follow any Liz activity while she hits the offseason as college ball starts up soon. Curious to see if any crumbs or reactions come up at all. W those two seeming to be at an avoidance phase, another college wbb couple needs to step up and provide us w some (non toxic) drama to follow over the season ha! Ah babes that must have gotten lost in my sea of asks because I've been so bad about answering them. It's funny how much has change since whenever you sent that thought because the W has become a revolving door of coaching changes.

I really like the Valks HC choice. She's been very effective with the LVAces and I expect that to continue. Same with the recent news we go today of Tyler Marsh with the Sky. I think LVAces coaching staff in general is so strong and them branching off is good for the league and both the Valks and the Sky with these coaches and a little bit of time for player development should eventually be really good. Ultimately the lawsuit is a front office issue and I don't think these two had much to do with it and so until I see issues in their new respective teams, I don't think we can hold it against them.

LIBERTYYYYYYY. So happy for them and of course props to the Lynx. And honestly thank you to both teams for giving us what I think, despite that one foul, is the greatest W finals we've ever had.

THE THIBAULTS ARE GONE. You were one of the first people I thought of when I saw that news. Honestly I have no idea what to think. long ramble, haven't had one of these in a while! if you read this, have fun. it's headcanons/thoughts on some stuff. i don't talk about my thoughts on story stuff publicly much anymore especially because 1) i'm shy 2) trust issues 3) bad rsd 4) i forgot the last point

i was writing for oNCE yesterday (some headcanon stuff, for myself, won't be posting that unless i change the wording of some of it to make more sense because i ramble a lot and it's a mess. like i am doing right now. also that turned into being mostly about hr in the end because i am ill. now hopefully this motivation will get me to write my mary and archie stuff.)

and when i went to bed i was thinking about some stuff in toontown, mostly the cogs - and how things work. these are things i ponder on very often and have talked about with my friends many time, throwing ideas back and forth and my headcanons for how things work.

though, there's one thing i really wonder about, and that's where cogs come from in ttcc exactly. in 'that' way though of course to keep things on the same rating as the game is i won't discuss anything explicit so don't worry. (besides they're robots and also are sexless to me, anything related to gender is purely cosmetic to them. you are usually assigned a certain expression when built though, but can change that later on. that's how i explain trans cogs.)

i think about how there are canonical families and children, and that they have "built" dates and places where they've been built. it's obvious as they're robots, they're not born they're built and made.

it's a bit difficult to explore with the limited info we have, which is kind of both an hassle to work with, but also beautiful because you can let your creativity go and make up your own headcanons, without things being set in too much canon. it's also difficult due to how different the suit culture is to us humans and also what we see from the toons which is by nature more familiar to us.

we also do not know much about suitopia, or other possible places where cogs live.

(i, personally, imagine suitopia as essentially a big country where most if not all cogs live. it has it's own regions, cities... all that. where as c.o.g.s. inc has built itself to be essentially it's own small country/community, if that makes sense. though cogs don't always only mention suitopia, at least once 'the whole world' is used. this is irrelevant tho so i won't discuss that but it's still a 'core' headcanon i have - as other things i may hc rely on this personal interpretation / headcanon.

but be aware i do not know everything is canon and can discuss things outside my realm of HCs and interpretations, but if i go deeper into like, let's say, analyzing a cog and imagining their backstory, instantly assume i'm using all these things. sorry for the side ramble, i want to make things clear for possible future reference.)

i wish it will be expanded upon slightly in the future, even a slightest crumb of what it's like out there and i can have a field day with it. i do enjoy the vagueness tho, again, as i've said we do not need to have all the information out there and it's not necessary to the main stories that are being told but MAN my brain itches for MORE. i demand EXPLANATIONS. and so i make up my own lol and i love that i can do that /gen (there's some stuff i do have an issue with that it was not explained better, but again, fixed that with hcs. talking abt atticus but im not getting into that rn)

there also may be things i am missing - i have known of ttcc's existence since it's early days, but i wasn't there for it and missed being there in person for any lore until i started playing for real in early 2023 and became a part of the community. like, there ARE things i have missed AND small details i am missing. that's one criticism i have about some info being more difficult to access now, but the main stuff is on the wiki an all luckily.

anyways that ramble out of the way... how the heck are cogs made? there's a few ways, that seem contradictory in some ways at first but i just see it as different methods.

we know cogs can change their appearances (their shell) and be "upgraded". we know cogs can even choose to be just their skelecogs (Atticus) and i suppose every other skelecog we see.) we know cogs have families and have their own kids. (cathal and bobby jr come to mind, and also belle's own kids and grandkids. not to mention, we have siblings too - thomas and robert. and their whole family drama DOES involve their unseen parents.) we know many cogs, mostly the managers, come into the company as their are - but also new parts are built, at least for the employee cogs in sellbot hq. (recently re-read the dialogue which confirmed this - literally as you're building your sellbot suit.)

we know cogs are more than just some working machines and do have deeper lives and desires and even relationships, though all instances of a parent/child relationship in ttcc have only one parent. makes sense after all they don't reproduce sexually to put it that way, again they're built and they're robots.)

it's easy to conclude, that, cogs are just built. which is true. but it just makes me wonder. we know they age. we have at least 1 cog who is a literal child, and bobby, in human years at least, looks no older than like, 8 years old. (we also don't know how cogs age. we also know cog's don't die like that, due to the whole deal with atticus. i will talk about this one day i have so many thoughts on it)

we know they grow up and even have schools - they're not programmed with everything. they earn experience as they live life and even have?? education systems? like they're more like people than we thought. (ttcc does make cogs more easily sympathized with and gives us INDIVIDUAL cogs and not just... 'The Cogs'. cogs are the focus of ttcc so of course they're developed more and are more 'human' despite being machines.)

so clearly, there's cogs like bobby. who are built young and eventually grow up. we have not seen a cog growing up yet, at least i don't think. but i wonder how that works. through cartoon logic, do they just grow up? their skelecog and perhaps their shell, too? or do they periodically get upgraded to be larger - wouldn't it make sense to built a cog as, well, an adult already? to program all these things? there may be more limits to this than we think, but also just... cultural things possibly.

the only cog CHILD (not just the child of someone - cathal's an adult. also, redd mention, but redd's adopted so he doesn't count) we ever see is bobby and, he is the child of robert, who is known to be very short. we don't know if bobby's going to grow up, or if this height is what he's just going to be like. we have one image where he's way smaller than robert, and other, more recent ones, where they're a similar heights. is that just art inconsistency due to the nature of all the (amazing) artwork being, well, volounteer work and that not everything is (or has to be) perfect? or did bobby really grow up. i'm talking about the wallet picture and the comics featuring bobby, by the way.

though, as things are, i'm sort of assuming that bobby's going to grow up or be upgraded in some way to "grow up"? i don't think we need an clear explanation for that, and in a universe like this 'cartoon logic' would be enough, but it's still something to think about.

like...how do cogs go about having kids, anyways? all instances we see are visually similar as well. cathal has the same gear for his neck as allan's body does, and they have the same head lightbulbs and wires. bobby jr and robert are both furniture.

i've always assumed that it's like in robots (the movie, that i havent watched in years which would be helpful for all this, probably.) if you decide to have a child just for the experience of raising a child, to have a legacy, or due to a bond with a partner - you literally just build one. perhaps not in the same way as in the movie - in here it definitely requires more paperwork and blueprints. but again, it's interesting to think about! hey company i want a CHILD. i look like this build them like me thanks here's some blueprints. (this also explains the amount of single parents. though belle has to have been married/is married as her honorific is listed as mrs. hey fun fact, non native english speaker here. i didnt know 'mrs' means a lady is married until like this year. i've been on this earth for 19 years.)

like the concept of family is possibly just more social there than anything. duh... can't exactly have the same oil and wires inside of you as Robots .

anyways, so that explains kids... but what about the others? some cogs don't have any families mentioned but it's not hard to assume they come from families with parents and siblings as well. what about the employee cogs? who are quite literally very disposable in a way?

we do have to take into account that after all, employee cogs we see just on and about on the streets are mostly a game mechanic, and there are some individual cogs who ARE cogs who would typically be employees cogs. (jennifer comes to mind first, she's a micromanager but also a secretary and counts as a manager. same goes for judy and so forth.)

and y'know, the game won't have a personality and backstory for each random flunky on the streets you fight. but with often they get destroyed and repaired and that there's just... so many of them! of the same model and appearance... makes you think. is that why they were made? are they truly more robotic than the others, more devoid of 'humanity'? or were they different cogs, perhaps more lower class, who's appearances were changed entirely to fit into more easily fixable and replaceable shell forms? something that's less expensive for the company and for them? i swear i am missing some details on this, but that's for me to re read the wiki and cogs ink for on my own later. (i need to have full info n everything and if i dont bring up that i know one small detail i will explode bc someone will bring it up and make me feel dumb and that's the rsd part and it's often physically painful!)

very hard to tell, i'm sort of content with my thoughts on how cogs have kids, but i hope we ever get a bit more clarity on employee cogs - though it is a bit problematic as these are the guys you beat up on the daily who don't have individual personalities.

like i'm just rambling as i go here man, it was gonna be cohesive but i'm just spitting thoughts here now. like, we have 3 seperate skelecog types - all cogs come with a skelecog like we have a skeleton so that also comes into play. it can be adjusted in ways, most notably the head and also in size. though we do have a 4 arm cog. jason please i love you /p we need more jason content. it's wacky, it's tacky - it's toontown!
