For Ruggie and Jamil, I have a whole bunch of different headcanons depending on the situations.

First their GloMas interaction gave me life. I found it so perfect, just the two of them finally letting their inner gremlins take over without worrying about their image. It was PERFECT !

I also love that their Signature Spells have the same "manipulation" base, but Ruggie is about the body while Jamil is about the mind. (I usually love adding Jade to the mix with his ability to force the truth out of others. I call the three of them the "Manipulation Gang". I'd love to see the three of them actually gang up some day.)

Jamil and Ruggie also have the same servants-to-spoiled-rich-kids background. I feel like they'd have the most terrible gossip while washing clothes or something. I just can't really imagine them not be friends of sorts. Just pestering about the latest wild nonsense their master has been up to, wondering if they should exchange their burdens (pre chap 6, Jamil would never agree after that) and just generally let the worst of them show to the other coz they don't mind.

In the context of the N2 Squad, Ruggie would definitely be a needed push for Jamil. The kind of "Please just date him, Leona’s mood is only getting worse and I'm tired and if I hear 'im moan about you once more I'm gonna murder you both" or something like that. Ruggie knows the inner workings of Leona, knows the inner workings of Jamil too from their laundry-gossip, and while I can imagine him strive in chaos he would immediately go complain to either Leona or Jamil if their turning around each other made his job harder. After the N2 Squad starts dating though, I can def imagine Ruggie try to profit off being friends with Jamil to get favors from Leona (and maybe Vil too coz why not?)

(Also Ruggie is def Jamil's first fan when it comes to cooking and always tries to have him give him spares from a previous party or whatever.)

couple of ladybug redesigns ive been doodling while stark raving mad about how this show for little kids doesnt have more badass outfits for the characters. i basically take a crack at these every couple of months but this is the first time im really pleased w what i came up with!

i def wanna come back to these and tweak them or come up with more designs for the other characters. and i esp wanna do a hawk moth chloe..........

long winded explanation of my design concepts unser the cut

ladybug - this is kind of my brain process here. her canon design (the worst one in the show imo) just kinda looks like a polkadot onesie so i really wantes to give her more bug-like features. i gave her black eyes bc i think its really cool when miraculiur holders change eye colours to something unnatural and i think its pretty neat and comicbook-y, and also insect-like. i also gave her bug-wing hairclips and changed her pigtails to twin buns so they had more of a shape contrast to the clips. for all wing details i added turquoise as a third colour to give it some SPICE.

my first designs (1-4) went off the idea of a short dress/coat with puff sleeves to suggest the shape of bug-legs, and the coat tails serving as her wings. i think its a cute design that fits marinette's girly style, but i wasn't quite happy with it.

i had the idea of her sleeves serving as her wings instead of her skirt or coat tails, and looked a little into chinese styles of clothing with big sleeves like this to lean more into marinette being half-chinese. i found a style called hanyuansu, which is modern clothes modified with hanfu elements and took inspiration from looking at a few outfits, so i tried a couple different takes. i really like design 6 with the big coat, but it seems really impractical for crime fighting :/ maybe its like a formalwear alt look lol.

7 is my final design that i'm happiest with, as it has all the elements i wanted but is still simple enough to not feel overloaded. i made the yoyo black for a little contrast and just bc i think it looks really cool!

queen bee - chloe was robbed of a character arc and a cool design. i will avenge her.

this ddsign came to me muchhh easier. a beehive hairdo seemed like a no-brainer, as well as fur trims both because she's a bee and because she's a bougie rich girl. i wanted the look to scream elegance and be a little retro and 60ies-inspired to go with her hairdo. the shape and tights are like a cute minidress married to a fur coat meets bee stinger, which is the vibe i want! the gloves are full chic and also sort of like black insect legs.

again a light blue wing detail for a pop of contrast and just because wings are fucking cool, and it gave me an excuse for 60ies inspired blue eyeshadow! yellow eyes cause i love weird eye colours, and it just looks a little creepy and jaundiced hehe

no mask because everyone knows its's her anyways, so why bother? plus masks are sort of annoying to design around lol. i kept her feelers because theyre really cute!

queen bee x butterfly - ive wanted chloe to become the new hawk moth since the concept was teased. well now my heart is broken forever, but i can still dream!! so this is like, an au where she has a full epic villain arc, keeps the bee and also gets the butterfly miraculous and becomes the new big bad!

i kept a lot of thw elements from the queen bee design but modified them. the dress changes shape into something less like a stinger and more like a chic mini winter coat to match the giant fur trim she has now! obviously huge moth wings are a must, and more of a staff than hawk moth's cane because, hey. she's royalty.

her queen bee feelers change to fuzzy moth ones, and the colours are a little different to match better with purple! plus a butterfly mask now, and white eyes with solid yellow irises to diffirenciate her from.......

i gave him solid white eyes to make him look less human and goofy, and again for that cool comic-booky look.

i based the whole design on wanting his silouette to mimic thw butterfly miraculous, so i kept and exaggerated his canon lapels and added two pointy coat tails for the bottom of the wings.

the long coat is a bit more dramatique and less basic, and i tried to give his mask a little flourish to keep him from looking so much like a silver thumb.

the only place i kept the silver is for the vest, which is segmented to imitatw to look of a butterfly or moth's belly. i spent the least amount of time on this one but i'm pretty happy with it for a rougher draft than the other three designs.

hello! so, i currently have an oc in the works. i dont have much for his character yet, and hes kind of a blank slate at the moment, however, whilst trying to develop him i had the idea to give him a disability; its something i dont do with my characters very often, and i feel like it could give some depth and realism to his character. however, i..... dont know where to really start with it? i have the vague idea that i think id like him to have crutches, so some sort of leg disability, but just going off that its been hard for me to find any condition that feels quite right. im unsure about making him an amputee either; seemingly the "go to" for anyone who wants to make a physically disabled character. i want to try and represent a disability thats less fetishized by the general public, and looking through this blog here its definitely apparent that a lot of people are tired of seeing basic half amputee characters with overly functional prosthetics; i wanna avoid that. sorry this has gotten a bit rambly, but basically what im asking is,, do you have advice for what i could use as just. a general starting point in this? im terribly uneducated and lost at the moment and id love some help. thank you :]

It's great that you're interested in writing a disabled character (with care). I'm always happy to see more writers/artists/creatives do that.

You mentioned wanting to give him crutches, which is cool. However, you mentioned crutches as meaning a leg disability, which isn't always the case — and while I don't have statistics on it, I believe that most crutch users do not use them for leg-only problems, and a lot of them have the not-so-fetishized conditions. Here are some suggestions of what you could give your character, which hopefully gives you some ideas. If you need, you can get back to us with a more specific question after you figure out what exactly your character has.

Cerebral palsy — probably the most common reason for using crutches in non-elderly people, and the most common (physical) disability in younger people in general. If your character has diplegic (meaning lower limbs affected) CP, he could use crutches and if he has hemiplegic (one arm and one leg affected) CP, then he could use a single crutch or a cane. Cerebral palsy is generally extremely underrepresented when compared to how many people have it IRL. Just be aware that there is a lot of research involved just about the condition itself — multiple types (spastic/ataxic/dyskinetic), different kinds of body involvement, tons of different mobility aids and orthotics to learn about. There is also hereditary spastic paraplegia, which is not the same as CP but similar and progressive.

Spinal cord injury — the general assumption is that all people with spinal cord injuries are fully paralyzed below the neck or waist, and that's not the case. If your character has an incomplete SCI on any level or just a very low level injury, he could be using crutches or switch between a wheelchair and crutches. It's essential to research SCIs to have them be more than “legs don't work, but that's literally it”. SCI can come with severe nerve pain, spasticity, atrophy, and a lot of other things. Worth noting that spinal cord injury could be traumatic, but could also be congenital (spina bifida) or illness related (polio, transverse myelitis, spinal stroke, or cancer, for example). You could think that it's overrepresented in media, but SCI is generally just used as a “default condition” for why a character is in a wheelchair, and a lot of these representations are unfortunately very shallow.

Paralysis — in the monoplegic sense here. Much more rare than the rest of the things here, but your character could have a single paralyzed leg, largely due to nerve damage. Could be traumatic or illness-related (e.g., cancer, infection, or multiple sclerosis).

Stroke (and other traumatic/acquired brain injuries) — stroke can cause a million different symptoms and depending on what happens to your character exactly, he might need crutches. A big portion of stroke survivors deal with hemiplegia and could use a crutch on their non-affected side, for example. Some kinds of stroke might cause your character to have troubles with balance and require a mobility aid to not fall. Of course stroke will also cause other symptoms for your character (it wouldn't be too realistic to only have him have problems with his legs) for example speech issues, headaches, or seizures. Stroke can happen to anyone, and it wouldn't be weird to have a younger character with it. Very common in real life but very rarely represented in fiction.

Limb difference — you can definitely write a character with a limb difference or an amputation without fetishizing it. The main concern with the fetishization is the concept of the robotic limb that works just as well as or even better than a meat leg, and thus the character is “fixed”. But your character could just… have a realistic prosthetic (people do use prosthetics with crutches) or not use one at all. A lot of congenital amputees, people with limb differences, or with high level (above knee) amputations might do that. He could also have a leg length difference, which could cause him to need crutches (for example, Morteza Mehrzad has one of his legs significantly shorter after a pelvic injury, and he uses crutches among other mobility aids).

Chronic pain — very broad category for too many specific conditions to count. Neuropathy in the legs and/or lower back could be a reason for using crutches, for example. Unhealed, or poorly healed past injuries. Arthritis in knees or hips. Hypermobility that makes him unsteady or dislocate joints. Pain in bones or muscles where he can't fully weight-bear.

Gait disorders — another broad category (sorry). Your character could have problems with his gait and need aids for that. It could be caused by dyspraxia (I have it), ataxia, progressive muscular dystrophy (there is a lot of different types), Parkinson's disease, or a lot of other things. Could also be injury related.

And of course you could have multiple characters that are disabled to make sure that there is some variety.

Hey! I believe dot is disability-coded, and I know I’m not the only one in this boat.

From her very introduction it’s made clear dot suffers a lot with anxiety, is quick to anger, and even struggles to eat proper meals. This might be a product of her upbringing or her hyper-focus on making faceless content, but it’s something I know a lot of disabled ppl can see in themselves, she even reminds me a LOT of myself when I was younger.

As she gets out more and starts traveling with the others on foot, we see she is easily winded, she can’t handle cold weather but can’t stand the heat, her quaxwell even acts as a service animal/aide in certain situations when she needs help standing/walking for long periods. Dot using a cane is a headcanon I’ve had since she was first introduced, there’s points when I’ll be watching and thinking damnnnn a mobility aid could save this kid.

This isn’t something I think everyone needs to acknowledge, but I think it’d be nice if as she got older she realized traveling isn’t getting her body used to the elements and started using an aid of some sort; it could even have some element to it that shows off tinkatuffs metalsmithing, or maybe it could just show kids these days that it’s okay to be visibly disabled at a young age.

I dont know if I should add my liko and roy headcanons to this particular post, I kinda just wanna make a statement about dot and disability rep and not have it share the spotlight, she deserves her own post.

Bill laughs as the kid stares straight through the hole he just shot through Bill’s bowtie. “I’m immortal here, kid! It’ll take more than that to kill me!” Immediately, the human changes his stance, as if preparing for some sort of violent response. Bill doesn’t even bother to so much as flick him as he says, “Whoa, whoa kid! How much trauma have you dealt with?” He openly laughs, his strange voice filling the odd, infinite space.

The boy adjusts his posture, tensing up a bit, as he seems to prepare a blast from his hand. To this, Bill stops laughing and continues to act fairly casual. “You know, you’re quite the sight for sore eye! I haven’t seen anyone in this realm outside of myself before!” He watches the human get a little less tense, before tensing up again, as if waiting for some surprise attack. “Look here, kid. I’m not in a fighting mood,” Bill starts, with a laugh. It’s obvious he’s being a little more serious, before he quickly returns to his overly odd cackle, “No matter how much you seem to be!”

Danny can’t help but suspect the thing. He can’t tell what it is, especially since it has no ghost-like aspects outside of its regeneration. After all, a yellow equilateral triangle with one giant eye, a bowtie, a cane, and a fashionable hat doesn’t seem..quite normal to become, for those who’ve passed. It irks him to see something so strange and oddly, uncomfortably threatening, within his domain. Danny can’t help but feel protective over his realm, as the Ruler of the Infinite Realms, a title he gained since his defeat of Pariah Dark. His obsession with protecting others also doesn’t help.

But Danny really knows something’s up. He’s never even heard of such an odd being in the Realms before, something he doesn’t expect despite its vastness. With a deep breath that he doesn’t quite need to take, he finally speaks to the creature: “What even are you?” Danny doesn’t even care to sugarcoat his words. This being surely hasn’t done so with its own, so why not be so straightforward?

The beast’s singular eye almost illustrates the emotion of grinning. Danny only notices now, but the creature almost pulses as it seems to speak, with no mouth in sight. “I’m a dream demon, isn’t it obvious? The name’s Bill Cipher, make sure you don’t forget it!” It asks, a clearly rhetorical, purely joking, question, before continuing. “From a world in which direction, dimension, and disaster have no meaning! Where 2D is the new 3D, and life is near worthless!” Danny watches as the thing calling itself a ‘dream demon’ bursts into a fit of laughter, it seeming to find everything very entertaining. He must say, he isn’t satisfied with the being’s answer. It just seems to leave even more questions.

Danny lets himself relax as the demon questions him right back; “Who, rather than what, are you, kid?”

Bill watches the human closely with his eye, waiting for an inevitable response, whether with words or actions. It’s rather exciting to practically hear the gears in the boy’s brain turning as he thinks deeply. Within a minute or so, the kid responds, “Phantom. People call me Phantom.” Bill nods, in a way that his unusual body will let him. Everything about the boy only seems to get more interesting. “Say, what business do you have here, Phantom?” Bill questions, with a smirk-like look in his eye.

Phantom gives Bill a calculating look. “I am the ruler of these realms, actually.” This greatly surprises Bill, who rotates his cane in his hand thoughtfully. “Well, who’d have thunk it! Why, kid, you’re quite the little mystery!” He laughs, his voice once again resonating through the infinite space.

It seems like the two are in for a ride- one of the “emotional rollercoaster” type.

Disabled connection and joy is so so wonderful and im lucky i get to experience it. I want more irl disabled friends (more friends in general would be great) but i know friendships take time and I moved here less than 2 months ago. Those fleeting moments of connection, of knowing glances, of smiling to each other, of complimenting each other's aids, basically all that?? means the WORLD to me right now.

The person I see on the accessible pathway I take to class who compliments me and I compliment them back

The person in their power chair who always has the absolute coolest pants I've ever seen. who i absolutely love seeing around campus because i may not know their name but i know a cool person when i see them

The person who walks with a limp that I pass once in a blue moon on my walk home. every single time we smile to each other.

The cane user I saw walking around who without even knowing it, gave me the confidence i needed to actually use my cane in public instead of forcing myself through horrible pain

The person with hot pink decals on their wheelchair that i want to talk to more than anything bc there are not many things i love more than decorated mobility aids and hot pink

The person I keep running into who always looks at my cane with curiosity, but without any sort of judgement or hint of malice. and they always have something kind to say.

I think about these people so much! i hope they are having a good night and I hope tomorrow will be a good day for them. I might just be some guy in strange outfits that they see around every so often (i am that to many people). but they mean more to me than they know.

“Welcome to the Amazing Digital Circus!” A strong voice says as teeth with a ringmaster suit fly in. “My name is Caine! I'm your ringmaster, and I'm here to show you, the most jaw-dropping, heart-stopping, mind-bending paraphernalia you've ever laid your eyes upon!” He went on his introduction as something slowly, well not slowly… fell from the sky. The voice was getting louder and louder but so was the theme song.

“Ragatha, Jax, and there's Kaufmo-” A person at full speed fell into the cardboard cut of Kaufmo, words popped up on the screen but the theme song suddenly stopped as the person who landed on the cardboard was a newbie. “Fuck my back” The person blinked their eyes a couple of times as their eyes readjusted to the bright colourful background.

“Now, now, now, my dear.” The giant teeth flew down beside, “We can't have any of that foul language around here.” The person jolted back, they were still on the ground scrunched up into a near ball. “What's wrong with them?” A lanky purple bunny asked with no concern in his voice. “They just landed here, give them a break, Jax.” The red-headed doll pushed past Jax and walked towards them.

“What is happening? Where am I?” The person, or were they even a person at this point asked frantically looking around at the weird people. The doll opened her mouth but was cut off by the ringmaster grabbing the person's hand and dragging them up. “You are at the Amazing Digital circus, a place to be enjoyed by all ages!”

The teeth pulled them close to his side as he pointed with his cane to the ‘people’ “That Jax, Ragatha, Zooble, Gangle, Pomni, inside that pillow tent that's Kinger, I’m Caine and this is bubble!” He pulled them away and looked at the others. The bunny called Jax walked up to Caine pushing the ribbon out of the way, making her comedy mask fall onto the floor. “So Caine, We are having a new adventure today for the newbie, or what?”

Caine tapped his cane against his teeth, as he thought for a second. “I'd like to give our new member a tour of the circus grounds!” He twirled his cane around and grabbed the person's wrist. “Off we go!” The person's face twisted uncomfortably as he grabbed them.

At light speed, Caine dragged the person out of the circus tent. “Here we have the TENT” Big bold letters appear making their eyes not focus right, as Caine continued. “This is where your living quarters are! as well as all sorts of other activities! These activities may include..” A dial-up tone blares as the sound makes their ears feel like they're burning, they push their hands against their ears to try to make the sound quieter. Their eyes still couldn't focus with all the colours and their ears couldn't focus with the music in the background plus the dial-up tones blaring in their ear.

“Ball pits, mini golf, and more!” Caine kept moving close to their face and away making their body tense, Caine grabbed their arm once again and dragged them forward making them feel like their insides were about to come up. “Here we have the GROUNDS” the yellow writing appeared again. “Drown yourself in the digital lake or-” “Stop.” They cut him off as they sank to their knees putting their hands on their ears once again, “Please stop.” Caine looked confused as they slowly lowered them, “Are you alright, human?”

“Im- I-” Tears swelled in their eyes. “Eh- take your time” Caine awkwardly tapped their back waiting for them to say something. “I just don't know who I am, no matter how hard I think I can't remember my name or life before this-” Caine jumped to the front of them. “Dont worry my dear everyone feels this way as they enter the amazing digital circus!” They looked down again. “It's not just that…” Caine looked confused again using his cane to scratch his head. “Then what is it? Do you need a new name?” He clicked and a name generator appeared in the air. He spun it, and it landed on “Y/N, what do you think of it?”

“Caine it-” “You alright it is horrible, terrible even let SPIN again!” He twirled around as he was just about to spin again when Y/N stopped him. “Caine, no it's not my name it's… everything my eyes can't focus, my head is spinning and my ears feel like they are bleeding.” Caine appeared by their side and looked into their ear. “Well Y/N your ear is not bleeding-” “No it feels like it, it- just-” Y/N started to get frustrated with Caine not hearing her. “It feels like it, just please, lower your voice.” Caine's face went oh, “Oh, I mean oh, alright y/n, do you need anything else to make you feel better.”

“Could you bring me to my room, so I can lie down for a bit.” Caine nodded as he slowly took y/n hand and again quickly brought them down. “Caine, could you go slower?” He stopped at their voice. “Oh yes, sorry about that.” he brought them down slower and landed in their room. “This should be your room, call me if you need anything.” He floated off, “Caine.”

“Yes?” Caine looked back, “Could you give me a hug?” Y/n looked hopefully as Caine floated down next to them. “Im legally able to do that,” Y/n and Caine hugged awkwardly but it was nice nonetheless. Y/n rests their head on his shoulder making her eyes focus on the door on the other side of hers. “Thank you,”

“No problem my dear.” y/n walked into their room closing the door behind them. Caine watched them and used his cane to lower the music in the background. “Rest well.”

gwen has trauma related to something that happened with elias - this is going on the theory that she’s not elias’ counterpart, but a relative of some kind. something spooky happens to him and that pushes gwen to research the paranormal.

character referencing nicholas flamel - all the main characters have names that reference alchemists, and nicholas flamel is probably the most famous alchemist of all time. i doubt he’ll be given the smirke treatment because that kinda already happened with the transphobic wizard books, but someone could be sharing his name.

mag 114 statement is relevant - thats the. hill top road statement that deals with other realities, and anya (the statement giver) could be from the protocol verse. we could totally hear about the aftermath of her departure

alice/sam/gwen = three primes - the three main alchemical symbols on the OIAR crest, and a good sort of symbolic trio sorter. the three peimes are salt, sulphur and mercury, and are the basis for alchemy. the down to earth, reliable salt, the firey, unpredictable sulfur, and the adaptable, easygoing mercury. i think these could apply i just want to have it called out in universe

lena is a good person - i don’t think they’d pull the evil boss thing twice. i just think lena’s weird mannerisms are from her autistic swag

celia is related to or is agnes - (related to as in. her story involves agnes, not that shes like. a sister.) this comes from a theory by @/pinklotjeart, i think. basically: through the way her death was described (spark returned to the lightless flame) and some timeline discrepancies and general avatarness making it weird, agnes might not be Dead dead. and celia’s counterpart, lynne - well, she saw a fire ghost. also, both her and agnes are the only non one-off characters who have shakespeare names afaik. agnes MONTAGUE, celia from as you like it…

Okay, pretty vague definition right? Deliberately so, definitions of disability should be vague in order to cover everyone who needs to be recognised.

So, more specific definition, right? Imo too specific. This one specifies it affects limbs. So it could exclude things like chronic fatigue syndrome, which overall is absolutely recognjsed as an illness resulting in physical disability.

If people are using a more inclusive definition, which they are, then like.. why does fatigue from CFS count, but not chronic fatigue from something like depression? Is it based on the origin of the illness, whether its counted as psychiatric, intellectual, neurological, or.. non-brain? But that would leave out eg schizophrenic people with movement issues like catatonia (which functionally is basically a kind of paralysis). That doesnt seem fair to me. And, realistically, I don't think someone is going to look at someone unable to move independently and go 'um you're not included in cripplepunk'.

But I've seen SO MANY people say that it specifically, deliberately does not include disabilities arising from psychiatric issues.

But psychiatry, while not the same as neurology, is inextricable from it. So when does it count as neurologic vs psychiatric?

And its not just like, to do with the word 'crip[ple]'. Crip theory includes a wide range of disabilities, for example.

Like, I'm not trying to be a pain. Im not pointing this out as some sort of gotcha. It just feels like everyone else has some secret knowledge that I don't about what counts. And I want to understand.

to me, NiGHTS is so easy to interpret as a trans allegory, especially the original. with JoD having a cutscene for almost every level, the plot is less ambiguous, and while i still think it can be read as trans, i don't think it's as clear as NID.

first of all, i'll get the obvious part out of the way: NiGHTS themself is canonically nonbinary (or at the very least in some way gender non-conforming). they canonically go mostly by they/them but really accept any pronouns or honorifics. while in their case, this might not necessarily be a form of being trans, seeing as they aren't human, they're also the only explicitly nonbinary nightmaren, so they may have had some kind of originally assigned gender that they later rejected. that to be said, this isn't why i think the story is trans, rather an added bonus.

more importantly, the main think that links every visitor is anxiety and the plot is always about their journey to recovery. while anxiety isn't an explicitly trans thing, it's anxiety about self expression - singing for claris, playing the violin for helen, football for will and basketball for elliot. dreams are their only escape from these fears, with the dreams themselves being riddled with nightmares. this lack of self expression is so obvious that i dont think i need to explain it, with the dreams being similar to being in a queer community; it's freeing, yes, but often even these communities have issues - maybe you're the "wrong type of queer" or you're in another oppressed group the other members of your community don't care to understand or accomodate for.

now admittedly, all the visitors we see are presumably white and while some headcanons are popular (wheelchair/cane user helen is one i see a lot), none of them are canonically disabled. in that sense, i suppose you could interpret it instead as the fear of being outed, however i think completely ignoring my original interpretation in some ways ignores the struggles you may face even in queer communities where people are supposed to be accepting.

i think part of the reason claris and elliot especially speak to me as being trans is 1) because they're older and are more likely to have realised these things and faced oppression for it, 2) as i said before, because the plot of NID is much more ambiguous and 3) small, insignificant things, like the bias i have because i prefer them as characters as well as the fact that their hair is blue and pink. like the trans flag. while i think helen and will's stories being about their relationships with their parents is honestly a more concrete link in some ways, if elliot and helen go wrong they fear their entire social lives could be ruined rather than just their parental ones. i am aware that their parents are mentioned on the japanese website, however i'm pretty sure everything is lost in translation because it barely makes any sense to me.

ALSO! i think it's important to mention that my source here is the NiGHTS wiki, hosted on fandom.com, and while i can't be sure, the articles on claris and elliot's parents honestly read as being sort of. ai generated? regardless, definitely not telligible. surprisingly, the links aren't dead, however the translations i get from my translator extension are. janky to say the least. if anyone has a good understanding of japanese though, i do think the website is worth a visit!

something important id like to mention is the importance of courage. arguably the most important ideya of them all and something "they" can't take away from you no matter what, as well as being the only thing that allows them to overcome their anxiety in the first place. im not saying that courage is an inherently trans ideal, however you need courage to simply EXIST as a trans person - either the courage to pretend to be someone you're not or the courage to become that person, both of which will bring intense hardship that can shape the rest of your life and how long it even lasts. i'll try not to get too morbid, especially with how at this point simply mentioning suicide or murder feels like some kind of offesive characature, but if you're in a hostile enough environment, making the "wrong" decision can literally mean life or death, whichever that may be. courage is absolutely integral to both trans identity and the plot of NiGHTS, to the point where i feel it's stupid not to mention it

i don't really want to put a conclusion because i want it to be an open discussion. whether you write an entire thesis or a short jokey sentence, i'm interested in what you have to say!

Adding another oc of mine to the blog. Its name is Potato and they basically look like a small Pest but different ermmmmm i dont have an image for that rite now uuhhhhh. Ya.

Its pronouns are they/it (mostly cuz those were what it was called when it was younger and so its confused with being called different pronouns. Will is probably going to refer to them with she/they pronouns tho)

was wondering if you could classpect my fantroll from my weird little writing project.....(its called huebent and i should probably start posting about it)

he already has a classpect but im really curious as to how someone else perceives him SO, basic rundown:

Fuschiablood, Fimros Parexi. He has two siblings and basically had to raise his younger one but he adores her like a lot. In Huebent, there can be multiple heiresses(or heirs because. transmasc.) alive at once but they're ranked like. by who's the most affective at their job as an heir/heiress?? While he's alive he's ranked the highest and faces extreme pressure to be constantly doing SOMETHING productive. He's also chronically ill and a cane user which does greatly affect his ability to do things but he pushes it anyway because he really wants to he useful. Around like 15 a 16 year old, Nirsol (Goldblood), is hired to be a guard of sorts for him but like other than his sister Nirsol is like. His first actual friend and helps Fimros recognize whats going on within castes outside of his highblood bubble. He and Nirsol are friends for YEARS and are matesprits for like 4 years until the the looming cult threat gets more serious, and Fimros' health just gets so much worse but he feels he NEEDS to work to protect anyone he cares about, but he just cant. Nirsol mistakes this as Fimros not caring and they break up due to it. During their time apart, Fimros internalizes the way his society sees him as cold and uncaring and tries acting that way. He also engages in a relationship very begrudgingly with Runaan (Violetblood). That relationship goes horribly and since Nirsol is back doing bounty work again now that he assumes he's done with Fimros, Runaan asks him to kill Fimros. Nirsol cant do it even though he hates the way Fimros is now, he knows that Fimros likely has a reason (and he still loves him). Ultimately they begin to bond again and Nirsol starts helping Fimros with work and stuff until Fimros is killed by the cult as a way to scare people. Nirsol takes revenge and dies himself but that's his own thing. In huebents version of SGRUB or whatever i call it later, the 12 trolls playing the game receive a sprite that is basically someone they deeply cared about who had passed but the troll being sprited would appear based on how the player perceived them. Fimros is his sister's sprite but basically gets to stay as himself due to his sister deeply understanding him. His arc in the game consists of him being forced to acknowledge what he did wrong within being a leader and in his relationships to people, taking that knowledge, and helping his sister be successful at leading and helping others. And then post-game he is revived (along with Nirsol) and they get to live happy with eachother and Nirsol's adoptive daughter. I just love my fantrolls and think it would be awesome to get a classpect :))

Life update!

I finally had my surgery to help minimize the pain associated with my now multilevel degenerative disc disease. The surgery targeted the nerve pain in my lower back associated with the L5-S1 region and modic end plate changes. I cant tell you what that really means but i can tell you that it hurts like an absolute bitch and a half.

I had something called the intracept procedure on may 28th and while im pretty sore and swollen from the incisions, i can tell that the inflammation around that nerve in my back is already so much better and i’m already in much less pain than i was before the surgery other than feeling like i was stabbed in the back with a knife lmao 🤣

They told me it should only take a few days to two weeks max to feel better and that the swelling and inflammation will go down and ill have much more relief soon! Thank FUCKING god.

Ive been struggling to figure out this chronic pain since 2018 and it finally finally finally is being addressed and taken care of after YEARS of begging, crying, forcing doctors to take me seriously and give me an xray until they finally saw that it was a real fucking problem. I have scolisis and degenerative disc disease in my neck and lower back.

My hypermobility eds is also officially being genetically addressed which is cool- ive had so many issues my primary is like “why dont we send you to genetic testing” ofc genetic testing literally sent back a letter that said “we dont have a genetic test for heds so just go off of the diagnostic material” which we already did and he just wrote hypermobility spectrum disorder despite eds likely running in my family as my sister, and aunts all have joint issues and hypermobility- hell my younger sister had to have a hip replacement as a teenager! That shit aint normal!!! But its close enough and hes treating it as EDS anyways and im going to a orthopedic specialist and a rhumetologist soon so Anyways the heds is finally being properly addressed by my doctors and i think im finally finally getting the treatment that i need to be okay long term and have more function and stability in my life! Im going to find a PT therapist that can help me strengthen these joints bc its my goal to be able to hike again.

I got a wheelchair from my nurse that comes to check up on me every few weeks from home and makes sure i have everything i need. She realized how limited i am in my mobility especially outside the house so she prescribed a wheelchair and shes actually going to see if she can get something motorized for me covered by insurance but we’ll see!!! Ive finally been leaving the house more and doing more and im actually really happy rn. But maybe after this surgery i wont even need to think about using my wheelchair as much except when my eds is being annoying- but with more pt my joints should be stronger and maybe just maybe i can graduate back to just using a cane again

My partner and i are so happy with our lovely family and im finally getting the care ive needed and my adoptive parents are back in my life and i sorted through so much trauma and realized a lot of stuff was actually my fault- not because i was a bad person, but because i was a kid who took everything very literally and very personally and there was a lot of misunderstandings.

But my adoptive parents apologized to me??? For everything??? So im chilling and im actually going to a family reunion with all of them soon! Im super excited to see everyone and my grandma and i have been bonding over sciatica treatments lol

Im trying to get her to try CBD salve- its amazing.

Anyways after finally having a few years of proper medical treatment and being treated properly by my partner and reconnecting with my REAL family, i feel so much more whole… i have less alters - like- way fucking less, and theyre wayyy less obvious. Its so much easier to just pretend my did isnt there until it starts causing problems and then just do some communication skills and coping skills and everything works out fine???

Anyways thank everyone on here who has donated to me when i didnt have insurance or food, who sent me kindness, read me cards, made me spells and sent energy, thank you so so so much. My life has done a complete 180 from a few years ago where i was trapped in a dv situation and was constantly forced to lie for my boyfriend to make sure people liked him and i was hiding his abuse properly. He used to make me promise that i wouldnt tell anyone the things he would say and do because he didnt want people to think he was abusive because “they just wouldnt understand…” but no i understand its not okay to treat me like that and my partner now is my best friend and treats me with the upmost respect. Now im stable. I have insurance. I havent been to the psych ward in years. I havent even had a therapist in a few months and ive been pretty okay managing things on my own.

I am running a business??? Im selling art. Im in magazines and galleries and online publications. Im a REAL ARTIST now.
