I do have a few ideas for ZITS fankids :3c i was juggling some like,, design ideas in my head a bit ago, and I have a more like? Fleshed out? Semi-fankid-ish thing that's more based on my personal headcanons n world for ZITS...

My design ideas were mostly just based on literally mashing design elements together based on their species and running off of that. Possibly going around in circles with duos, then trios, then just throwing them all 4 together. But designing is hard and motivation / responsibilites sorta stopped me from ever actually drawing anything so <//3 they're just little ideas in my head

Okay this one was just like,,, a little "AU" idea. Zedaph's flock isn't the biggest fan of his husband boyfriends (all of them fall into the predator category from looks alone, Zed's family thinks he's literally insane for even getting near them), but after a little lamb is left (brought to them? Born? Idk how, the logic holes aren't fixed at all) with no one to care for it, Zedaph's allowed to bring it home.

It's a baby. Like. Basically literally. Too small to fend for herself. Mix the cute fluffy wooly parts of a lamb with the "basically useless" first years of a human baby. But she immediately steals all of their hearts <33 Problem is just,,, she's somewhere between baby to toddler in age, not a newborn. And she's already been taught a few of the natural prey-hybrid intincts (big bad wolf [skizzie </3] = evil. Fangs and claws and things = scary.) so she absolutely clings to Zed for a GOOD while. He smells like sheep, he's fluffy and cuddly, he doesn't look scary- he's safe.

At first she's even utterly terrified if the other three get too close, which basically means even more labour for Zed without being able to really catch that much of a break. Slowly but surely she warms up to the others as well, surprisingly Skizz first, mostly because his fur is actually quite cuddly. Then Impy & Tango follow after a while. At first she's still clinging to Zed and needs him around, but that lessens the more they all spend time together and she learns they're all safe.

She puts a heavy strain on their relationships tbh, because even if the Dads tm want to help, they really can't at first? They can't even comfort Zed beyond like,,, speaking to him from afar or from around a corner. They manage though, and they all get closer by the end of it <33

i will probably talk abt it more in the coming days or so cus I've been rotating impulse in my mind quite a bit of recent, but since you've given me an excuse...... (scott/impulse parallels and brainrot thoughts under the cut) (i think it's only me who sees these but yanno. fun)

for the record this is specifically life series scott and impulse but i tend to incorporate elements of other series into my headcanons too 👍

they're both:

very logic-orientated people. they tend to gravitate towards looking for the solution that makes the most sense rather than acting on instinct.

the designated "responsible one" in their respective groups, a role neither of them really asked for but kind of just ended up finding themselves in. it's not that either of them Hate having to be the responsible one but they certainly tire of it at times.

^ because of that, they also tend to somewhat isolate from said groups when things go wrong cus they're used to relying on themselves instead of looking for help. think (former) dogwarts impulse.

i joked abt this with the screenshot already lol but both of them have a bitchy streak. impulse's is alot less talked about and tends to be "tamer" than scott's but it's definitely there (it's more noticeable when skizz is nearby)

both can hold grudges FOREVER while acting like they couldn't care less.

when they're freed from that "responsible one" role, they both tend to enter this freaky gremlin mode where they start giggling and pulling dumb pranks.

they're both smooth-talkers who can hide their real emotions really well ESPECIALLY compared w/ other ppl in the series. sometimes they do it on purpose other times it's almost more of an instinctual thing.

the key difference is that impulse is more emotionally mature than scott. scott closes himself off in fear of being vulnerable while impulse is always to sit down with you and have a heart-to-heart. impulse has "settled down" a lot more, so to speak, and isn't quite as dramatic or in need of attention or approval.

it results in impulse feeling like a lot warmer of an individual, he's not intimidating because he's not trying to be (even though he very much has the ability).

anyway uh i rlly want to write or draw some sort of one shot where impulse takes scott under his wing a bit. i think they'd be good for eachother's character development is all.

Life Series Session Recap and Alliance Analysis

Pearl opens her episode clarifying she and Impulse did nothing wrong. Finally I don't have to write “get over double life, tumblr” every week.

Yes, another Saturday means another instalment of the Life Series. This session was far more chill and slow paced than last weeks, ironic considering that this week's Wild Card was a perpetual speed increase! Going from a complete time freeze to full hyperspeed. Naturally, this led to about a 7.5 on the madness scale, so let's see what those teams were up to.

The Final Girls - (Scott, Cleo, Pearl, Impulse & Bigb (not anymore ;3 ))

On the topic of Pearl and Impulse, Cleo decides that they will fully enable all of they're future actions. Yes, she might sigh when they talk about all the evil stuff they're going to do, but she's fully on board.

Right about now Scott is probably regretting being team mum for three chaos gremlins as he's already had to instruct them not to give Gem any more reasons to kill them & had to break up the fight that was issued once they all went Matrix mode.

Speaking of Gem & Joel, a new development in the great drama sees Impulse explain himself and apologise to Gem. She doesn't buy it but it's the thought that counts. During this apology Pearl, the attack dog, is ordered by Gem and Impulse to slaughter grian. So while Cleo and Scott go off to make friends, Impulse and Pearl pop over to Rens for some very serious murder discussion, with an eventual “let's murder Grian” party forming consisting of Pearl, Impulse, Ren, Martyn, Bigb, Scar & Jimmy. If even a fraction of these people stick to this next session Grian is pretty firmly doomed.

In other news Scott manages to make allies with the Bamboozelers through several means, including staring at Jimmy's ass. Cleo & Impulse have a little caving adventure and Impy manages to make a working Creeper farm that they may or may not be sharing with Renwood. This leaves Pearl once again building the tower, which is good since she has arguably to much experience in that

While building the tower we get more Drama! Grian and Mumbo managed to get a quick kill on Scott early on the session by digging a big pit under the tower and spleefing him in. Mumbo and Skizz later come back to this trap only to be discovered by Pearl. The Suits try to get her to lure Scott over, but Pearl is far to loyal for that…. But not loyal enough to kick them out, reasoning that it would be really funny if it happened twice. On top of this she negotiated the ability to kill grian without them stepping in, very useful given her current plans & the second spleefing doesn't work anyways, so no harm no foul.

No one would actually agree to luring their team to their Death intentionally… right Bigb?

I'd say I'm surprised, but I'm not. He's worked again every team he's been in except Nosey Neighbours. I guess the “B” must stand for “Betrayal”

Bigb pulls the same thing Pearl did only not under the pretence of a joke, when Grian is around to actually make sure his team gets the kill, actually agreeing to lure Scott and doing it INFRONT OF CLEO. This being the second time this has helped to them, Cleo immediately goes off to find Scott to warn him about the traitor…Scott still falls into the trap anyway but that was a skill issue on his part. Bigb actually tries later to gaslight Scott into thinking that he didn't mean to betray the team, which almost worked until he started saying Cleo was the traitor, which obviously Scott would never buy. Oh he also did this in earshot of Cleo so she set her attack dog (Pearl) on him.

Bigb also later betrays the “Let's Kill Grian Gang” and warns Grian about the plan to murderficate him. I guess someone hasn't gotten over Double Life after all.

The Fast And The Furious - (Joel & Gem)

Actually, the fast and the paranoid might be more accurate as while Joel is just off having a grand old time prattling speed bridging, Gem is terrified that everyone is out to get her and doesn't seem to understand that putting your base on the main path means more people will come visit.

Aside from sending everyone they can to kill Grian and disregarding Impulses genuine apology, the team due doesn't really do much themselves

Gem was officially the last person to lose a life though, with no less than 4 people, including 2 greens, having to help kill her.

Also Joel added racing stripes to the car and… it actually made it a lot less hideous, well done Joel.

The Bamboozelers - (Jimmy, Scar & Lizzie)

Jimmy has regained the title as most confident member of this team…scarily confident in fact, just this session he was able to steal a potential kill from Skizz & kill his teammates, get another good kill on Joel using Lizzie as bait, managing to turn his relationship with Joel around to become allies and reaffirming his alliance with Renwood. Honesty 100 IQ plays from Tim all around.

He did die once this session, but that wasn't his fault and was also incredibly funny to watch Martyn bimbo his way through traps made for Bigb and accidentally kill Timmy. Great job everyone.

Speaking of failed traps… oh Scar… he started of strong, absolutely annihilating Etho in slow motion and living up to the villain he shares a name with by tossing him off a cliff, but after that every single attempt to trap someone fails miserably and he's forced into a cheap kill on Grian that results in him calling for vengeance… wouldn't be to worried about that tho considering Skizz and Mumbo's track record.

The Spanners - (Mumbo, Skizz & Grian)

How are these idiots not dead yet.

They get one (1) successful kill this session, spleefin’ Scott. A trap Mumbo tries his luck with several times after this despite knowing the Final Girls already knew about it.

Skizz gets no kills despite Grians efforts. An attempt to build a super TNT minecart launcher is made… on Scars mountain… and Grian spends several.minutes explaining to his worst enemies how the trap works… and then he and Mumbo stand directly under where they know the TNT will land. Yeah obviously Jimmy sneaks in and pulls the lever to kill them.

A second attempt to launch TNT is made, but this launcher is pathetic and ends up being turned into a party game. oh, and then Grian gets hotguyed by Scar. Grian immediately screams vengeance and blows up the reputation board, ranting about how little it meant since he was in good favour… which only proved he never read the damn thing but it's the thought that counts.

In their last hoorah for this session the team goes on a proper hunt The Bamboozelers as they hide in Joel's car. Mumbo sneaks up to pure lava on them… and burns himself to death. He then tries to hypersonic pvp Gem and you can guess how that went. He then joins in trapping Gwm in a big hole and burning her, only for the kill to go to Ren anyway.

These guys are Doomed. Especially because Final Girls & The Family are allied with Scar & The fact that Renwood actively wants to murder them.

Predictions: Grian goes Yellow next session, Mumbo goes out-out and Skizz is somehow still Red.

Renwood - (Ren & Martyn)

We actually covered everything these guys did already, The Grian Murder Crew, Martyn being a trap bimbo, Ren allying with Impulse to make up for beheading him, really the only thing we haven't discussed is Martyns strange choice to make the first 5 minutes of his episode unlistenable

The Tuff Guys - (Etho, Tango & Bdubs

Etho finally admits they're the comic relief. Like any good comic relief, these three stooges spend the entire session failing at everything. Tango fails on the same trap 3 times. Bdubs almost kills himself in said trap. There's more fights and bickerings than you could count on 15 hands and a toe

Oh also Tango also perma-died to Pearl after going invis and being pumped full of arrows.

Honestly it's not a question of if someone dies next session, it's a question of who.

The more I talk about this the more I'm gonna argue myself into a hole but what else am I on tumblr for but to talk about fandom things that I'm surely wrong about

Venti's ideal of "Freedom" is very loosely defined. Zhongli fulfils "Contracts" by kind of just writing up a contract for everything, and Natlan follows suit with "War" by doing war inside their nation a lot. The Dendro and Hydro's ideals of "Wisdom" and "Justice" just centre themselves around institutions that are societally accepted as representing those ideals. "Eternity" for Ei stems from her grief so she's kind of in a similar boat to Venti.

The story of Venti's ascension to godhood about overthrowing Decarabian is likely where his ideal of freedom originated from, which means that rather than something he truly thinks should be valued above all else, it became the most important thing because that's what they fought for at possibly the most pivotal moment of his life.

And then again, in the Legend of Vennessa, they overthrow yet another tyrant. The in-game book series The Legend of Vennessa, which tells the story as the current-day Monstadtian citizen would know it, describes that Barbatos answered her prayers, became friends with her, and that gave Vennessa so much courage that she went onto save all of Mondstadt as its hero, both giving all the credit to Barbatos and also impying she did all the work independantly. The webtoon tells a very different story, with Vennessa being a just and kind fighter mostly laying low and appeasing the aristocrats as the only way to protect her people, the battle being an attempt by the aristocracy to destroy her that backfired on them, and Venti using his powers to win the battle for her. The given reality of Vennessa not standing up to the aristocracy in a huge way before divine intervention gave her a chance is retold in favour of a storyline where the strength to overthrow them was in her the whole time.

At the very least since Vennessa's time, Venti has never taken freedom for granted again. Freedom has to be guarded, protected, taken back from oppressors generation after generation.

Venti's not a stranger to playing dirty for the sake of "Freedom" either. Venti's character story Where the Wind Doth Not Blow has him forging a fake treaty to generate mistrust in the aristocratic ranks — because apparently the attempted murder that the people did actually object to wasn't enough to bring them down. It's also almost too perfect that the Lawrences took the fall for everything that happened when the Gunhildrs and Ragnvindrs were both around during that period, which of course makes a prettier story with a clearer moral, and a min-maxed ratio of people saved to people sacrificed.

Going back to The Legend of Vennessa, the first volume starts of with a line that says "May the gift from the Anemo Archon be engraved in your hearts! And let it be known that this gift is not freedom, but just defiance!"

Venti is very clearly ready to do anything it takes. His previous experience has told him that the road to "freedom" is dirty and messy and one paved in sacrifices. Khaenri'ah is no different.

And before I get into too long of a tangent; Venti's stories of the past are very prettily rewritten from history. Heroes and tyrants. The people as a united force, rising up against a singular evil, the simple destruction of whom will free everyone.

With that in mind, starting out our current era Archon Quest with a story that solidly positions Dvalin as said villain, forcing Venti to contend with the complications of there being no simple evil to be destroyed, for a new storyline to be designed, is quite poetic.

my personal highlights from skizz's pov of build and seek:

the intro. something about the characters sliding around the screen and "its best to take the high road, celebrate with them and act mature about it *SMACK*" it was awesome and cracked me up

him trying to have his plot next to impys and grian and scott separating them

his "I'm hidden, can you find me?" bit (great delivery and his character being tiny in a big open space was hilarious)

skizz always plays like the dumb goof and be the butt of the joke but then he says stuff like "high level infrastructure" and "desensetize them to the poster" and "maslow's pyramid"

the fact that he had all his buddies in there (even people not in the video!) impulse and tango as blacksmith and leatherworker (cause 'i can't not have tango'), jimmy up in the tower with a sign saying 'keep looking, fool!' (the fact skizz tried to write in jimmy's voice is so awesome to me cause i love these peoples unique voices and i can definitely hear him saying that) and scott as the entire army. bonus cause they're all employed and doing stuff like being the army. an army of scotts. meanwhile grian's there "having a bad day". he's just in the basement being tortured. "wheres grian? oh he's just being tortured." and lizzie and joel just sat in the things looking at each other

him just casually saying all his friends are brilliant :)

the fact that his build is like a walk through history model and sort of is a storytelling thing? (i love how him, impulse and grian all took the build a thing task differently to the original crew and played into their own like thing cause skizz is a storyteller, loves his friends and makes people laugh and you can see it reflected in his map. impulse played with some redstone to give people a headache and grian wanted to make people dizzy with his walls and sort of put a twist on the game like he does with each new guess the build and life series by making it escape room-y)

the fact that grian stole all his leather and junk and then was wearing it at the end of the episode

skizz and jimmy as a whole cause they just make each other funnier (this is my plea for plate up or something else with them and tango to come back pleaseee) and just the way jimmy wasted time to say funny things

the fact jimmy looked at joel and lizzie and said "this is love" and impulse looked at it and went "im a bit worried about you"

literally everyone jumping in the water, making some comment about how they were gonna die and skizz being evil and how they were sure he was down there/hated him if he was down there

However, it wasn’t more than two hours max before you first spotted an odd, slow movement in the water. Too slow for it to be some sort of person, but too big to be a fish. It’s okay, You told yourself as you watched the form approach and sink into the glittering soup before you, Brides don’t always turn up dead. It’ll probably be okay, no matter what happens.

With that, you took a deep breath to calm the knot of anxiety that formed in your chest. Yet,when you felt the cold, watery slime of a tentacle’s smooth skin against your own, you still jumped and attempted to scramble away. Yet, there was little you could do beyond scoot as far from the edge of the dock as your tether allowed. Not that your nerves did much to dissuade more green tentacles from rising out of the water to snake around your ankles and wrists, or around your waist to trap you in place. To hold you hostage while more tentacles emerged from the cool sea water to explore your nude body. It was disgusting.

Yet, at the same time, it was thrilling.

Ever since you were little, you had heard tales and rumors about all of the many things that might happen to the ‘brides’ your town offered to the sea god in exchange for the plentiful fish, including the exact situation you now sat in. I started writing a short little story about if your “Imp and Skizz visit a hospital” fic took place in the X files universe. I haven’t shared it with anyone and I don’t intend too. I just figured you might want to know? I’m sorry.

Mulder leaned back in his chair as he looked over what he had so far. Multiple incidents of two mysterious men entering hospitals and administering miracle cures, the stealing of hazardous waste, the fact none of the witnesses would say who the men were other than “angels”. He’s very confused.

Mulder: I just don’t get it scully! Why would aliens come to earth and bother curing people's diseases!? How are they curing them!? Why are they stealing!?

Scully: It’s not Aliens Mulder, for one, the patients claim the men are angels, for another, it’s probably two amature nursing students who think they're geniuses. We just need to find and recover the biohazardous waste they stole. That could be potentially very harmful. Finally, Aliens aren’t real.

Mulder: *huff* Either way I can’t find anything about them except what we already know. No leads, no fingerprints, the only names we have are “impy” and “Skizz”. It's frustrating!

Scully: I’m annoyed too, Mulder. I’m just hiding it better. I can’t find any record of a sign of those stolen diseases escaping, it’s like after they were stolen they were put somewhere completely contained. Actually! Now that i've started talking about AUs n ideas, I wanna just throw out what I'm working on atm :3

I'm writing little fanfic things for my "Knight Au" (<- name pending. Please help lmao.) Basically, Zedaph slipped into the role of King WAY too suddenly and is. Utterly underprepared. And on top of that, in a hell of a lot of danger. Skizz, the appointed head knight of his father is now his right hand man and bodyguard.

He guides Zed and ultimately decides he absolutely needs help with everything going on. Impulse and Tango, two head knights from another realm are called in as backup. Smth smth "people wouldn't mess with netherborn". It's a new situation for both of them, and they don't really know eachother either - though do find comfort in their shared problems with the change in temperature and weather. Eventually it all leads to them building trust with eachother, so even after the danger has technically subsided, Tango & Impy get to stick around <3

-> basically a whole bunch of knight schenanigans, building trust, romancing eachother and just. Cute fluffy stuff I wanna write <3

I'm semi-writing and mostly designing for my "Villain Au" (i seriously need to find actual names bro). It's not really the classic hero / villain so far? Since all 4 of ZITS are just. Little fucked up little guys. This Au fully indulgent in making them a little edgy and just throwing angst at them :3

I took some of their limbs, rattled their brains around and worsened scars & injuries that were already existant in my normal designs :3 It's really just a playground Au for me to throw them into domestic settings and do the classic "wow he's so hot with blood on him and insanity in his eyes" (<- said all ZITS about the other members of ZITS)

As such, the only writing / drabbling I've done so far is just Hurt/Comfort? Tango experiencing phantom pains and soreness around his prosthetic, Zedaph taking absolute shit care of himself in the name of science- yeah <3

Seriousbrat… I admire your commitment to preaching the word of Mid Remus Lupin in this website… but you go so hard I’m starting to think you hate the guy… so I dare you to throw the stans a bone and tell us what do you think were the guy’s best qualities and compile a small list of things that he was above average at, if you can muster it. I double dare you!

LMAo it probably does seem that way! I definitely don't hate Remus. In fact I like him quite a lot. I also enjoy writing him and his plotline for this next part of my fic has been a lot of fun!

Honestly, I tend to cut Remus a lot of slack, especially as a teen. I'm not sure if you're referencing this post but believe it or not that was a list of things I find interesting about him because flaws are a good thing for a character to have in my book! I also feel like I defended him in that post or at least empathised with him haha.

The thing is, being a werewolf just seems so awful, in a way that's obviously difficult to comprehend in real life, that I find a lot of his behaviour much more understandable than I do the other Marauders/Snape. Everything he does has to be viewed through that lens. And despite everything he manages to be kind, thoughtful and brave and I do find that very admirable!

Moony's best hits:

Bravery: he's avoidant, sure, but I don't think this is out of true cowardice. Or it might be cowardly in a sense, but I don't think this precludes him from being brave in other ways. It stems from his self-hatred; Remus would rather be miserable himself than inflict himself on others. VERY SAD. But he's willing to put himself into danger, fight for the Order, risk his own life, live in terrible and dangerous conditions for the cause. I don't think it can be said that he's not brave at all, even if he displays cowardice at times. He isn't scared of dying for what he believes, but he's terrified of himself, which is a totally different type of fear and requires a different kind of bravery to surmount.

Kindness: I do see Remus as very kind in nature. He immediately identifies Neville as having potential but needing a little extra guidance. It's him that befriends Peter and includes him in the group, and I see it as the same thing. The moments that Remus seems less than kind (ignoring Snape's bullying, for instance) I think he is actively going against his own nature, but unlike the other Marauders he's aware of that and it does cause him internal conflict. He has to choose between possibly losing the only friends he might ever know, or doing the right thing, and that's a more difficult choice than I think we realise, particularly for a teenager. But I see him as essentially very empathetic. As an adult he expresses remorse for the way they treated Snape, much more than Sirius does when Sirius has more to feel guilty about, and does his best to be civil and respectful even when Snape gets him fired and is horrible to him lol. Which is something.

Cleverness: He is very smart, although I imagine at school this was somewhat overshadowed by James and Sirius. But he has a different kind of intelligence imo, one that's more understated and thoughtful. I also think his own brand of unassuming yet witty humour is what drew James and Sirius to him initially, once they spotted it. If you don't know Remus very well, you might not think he's particularly funny but he is. Similarly, I think he was a good, hardworking student, and particularly adept at Defence Against the Dark Arts. Again, he was overshadowed by the flashiness of James and Sirius- I don't think Remus totally minded, though, as he would have wanted to fly under the radar for the most part.

Thoughtfulness: I know this is kind of similar to cleverness, but where Sirius, and to a lesser extent James, is very driven by instinct and recklessness, I see Remus as much more circumspect. He thinks about the impies (implications) of things. In fact, he thinks a LOT. The Lupin brain is constantly turning, and his inner world is very complex with a lot of conflict that he's constantly sorting through. I think in part he longs to be carefree and careen through life the way he sees Sirius doing, but obviously his condition means he has to be very cautious. And this also means that he's very considerate towards others. He picks up on suffering around him and thinks about how his actions might affect others. A little too much, but there it is.

Honesty: This might seem strange given he has to lie and hide things throughout the books, but again I think this is him going against his true nature. The way I see Lyall and Hope, I think Remus was raised with honesty as a core value. I also think he was a BAD liar lol, unfortunately for him. This is in complete contrast to Sirius, who is an excellent liar because he was raised in a way that necessitated it. I know I keep comparing him to Sirius but that's just the kind of juicy wolfstar #Dynamics that I live for. I think Remus values honesty and the fact that he can't practise it causes him turmoil. It must have been a huge relief when his friends discovered his secret and he could stop lying to them; for this reason I think Remus would have been reluctant to get close to anyone outside of their group.

I know a lot of these are "Remus is X but he doesn't actually do it" but that's the point of his character!!! Remus is constantly at war with his own nature, and this is made literal through his being a werewolf. The contrast between who Remus is (mild, polite, thoughtful, kind) and the violent beast he carries around within him, the complete opposite, is the whole point. That's why I can't stand fanon Remus being this swaggering aggressive alpha male lol. but anyway

Hopefully that's enough! I also think he was loyal, obviously, particularly to James and Dumbledore, who had shown him unprecedented acceptance, and later, Harry. His speech about Harry on Potterwatch after parting on bad terms is always a touching moment for me. But I think his loyalty has to be won, and it is rarely bestowed. He just can't trust like that 💔

Hey, just in my break at qork and couldn't stop thinking of the Avian trio and the other hybrids in the over-city. I wonder how everybody would act around phrases like "Taken under their wing," and "Birds of a feather." Or other phrases that some may get anxious about that relate to shaared hybrid features or maybe use as an inside joke or other specific feelings about those types of phrases.

I literally love your writings so much, they live in my head rent free aand have started to become bothersome to the point to satiate my brain I juggle rereading them with tasks like wrapping presents and watching TV. One time I was doodling the under-city of my mind whilst watching Impulse's phasmophobia VOD. I cannot drae so it was awful but it got my rough mental image out a lil bit. Pearl is simply happy on Hermitcraft these days!

She was abducted from her home server by Watchers and brought to Evo, and has never been able to find her way back. After it ended, she spent a while shuffling around between servers until she was invited to Hermitcraft, where she quickly settled in. She's gotten pretty used to picking up and leaving in that time frame, though, so she doesn't even mind occasionally switching to new Hermitcraft servers all that much.

She's particularly happy to have Grian and Jimmy around. They declared themselves siblings during Evo, and it was a great comfort to her as she was grieving the loss of her old home. Due to these experiences, she's come to see "home" as wherever the people you care about are.

[🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?]

Pearl is particularly scent-oriented due to her intensely strong sense of smell, and remembers people's smells even better than she remembers how they look. She can tell where a person's been recently and even if they're feeling a strong emotion. (Conversely, her sense of sight struggles to make out details like facial expressions, as her compound lenses give her a pixelated view of the world.)

Pearl likewise appreciates things with new and/or interesting smells, such as new blocks, freshly made food, and blooming flowers.

🥀 How would your OC decorate a notebook or journal? What kind of things are written in there? Could you give an example of a nice entry?

Pearl likes to use large sketchbooks for writing in and huge sketchbooks for drawing in, due to the construction of her eyes making it harder for her to see smaller writing/drawing. She'll put her name on the cover, and if she wants it to be nice, she'll add little doodles all over it.

Pearl likes to draw her friends and things from her days in her sketchbooks, and mostly uses journals as a place for storing recipes, drafts of song lyrics, crochet patterns, and other written notes and reminders.

Final thoughts:

- I really hope the crystal thing will keep the demon bound, and I also wonder what pearl will do with it? Like is she just gonna keep it forever? Will she give it to someone she trusts to keep it safe?

- Impulse 😭😭😭 At least the demon isn't in him anymore, but it will take him a while to heal

- Hell yeah, avian backstory I love it so much. Also is Jimmy a Watcher as well in this au, or is it just Grian and Pearl

- I absolutely can't wait for the next chapter, but please take care of yourself, hydrate often, do wrist stretches etc etc.
