"i like my aim just fine, thank you. maybe we just have different taste." it's not like wren was trying to marry these people anyway; settling wasn't what they were doing, as far as wren's concerned. "you sure you want the play by play? would hate for you to attract anyone 'average'," wren teases with a kick to his shin. not rough. just enough to make jovial his tone. "first step, you gotta have my hair. sorry to say, i don't know if that's attainable for your mop."

“no one said anything about groveling or kneeling. the punishment doesn’t match the crime.” that’s not to say that emerson is above it, no stranger to dramatic displays or causing a scene. the fact that it would likely spur a laugh from wren is really all the incentive he needs if wren pushed him to deliver. mutual ego stroking led to a feeling of invincibility, their shared bubble unable to be touched by anyone. “i think you deserve better than a low bar. you could aim a little higher.” it’s a compliment wrapped in humor but it rings true. “too many people settle as it is. why aim for average?” emerson was more likely to have unrealistic expectations, creating pitfalls and flaws even if he had no place to do so. “i don’t live vicariously. you don’t tell me enough gory details for that,” he jokes. “i won’t deny that i’m in a bit of a drought, though.” mainly due to embarrassment, as of late. “people come to you?” he says wistfully. “and how do you hook ‘em? what’s the play by play?”

I do find it facinating how Dracula Daily has turned Dracula into a different kind of myth now that we're in its third year running. I've seen a few people compare it to Hadestown, or a timeloop. The enjoyment isn't JUST from engaging with the story now, it's engaging with the experience, and while the emails are still the same as previous years, we've been through this before.

The way we as an audience interact with this story and this way of telling the story changes the genre. Its no longer a gothic horror, classic lit story. It's become a mythology, a tragedy, a repeating loop. Jonathan Harker returns to the castle every year. Every year it happens again. And that changes it, builds up new mythos around it, even if the words stay exactly the same.

wren could feel marcus' frustrations, but he wasn't going to let it rub off on him. if marcus wanted to stress and offer vague questions about their dynamic, he could do so. but if he wanted to confront wren, he'd have to be direct. wren would never beg to return to defining talk. "marcus," wren moved closer. they lifted a hand to the other's cheek and held his face. a charmed smile, a tonal shift. "don't think so hard."

open to anyone! our muses were in love before wren was sent to prison, but wren ghosted them when he got locked up. years have gone by, they just got out a few days ago, and they show up at your muse's place unannounced :)

"i didn't know where else to go." are are the first words out of wren's mouth when the other opens their door. he hates himself for coming here - wren's keenly aware the other has lived a whole life without him by now. but truthfully, he's desperate. it's this or getting beat up in a park overnight again.

there's irritation as he sighs, resigned, gaze flickering up towards the ceiling as he figures out his next move. "i'm nobody," he offers up honestly. does a name really change that much? "i'm just some fucking person, ok? i work at a record store. i sing, sometimes." there's a half-written song about arthur in a notebook already, but they don't offer that information. "i drink myself empty half the time and spend most nights at home 'cause people exhaust me. satisfied?"

"yeah, i'm starting to see that now..." arthur retorts with an irritated sigh. he doesn't even know where to go next, his entire time with them felt like some fabricated story - a web of lies spun by wren. "yes...no - i don't know!" he exclaims and runs a hand through his hair. "who even are you, wren?"

I'm so close to crying, my wifi was being a little bitch but it pulled through. I didn't even get to finish my cake, my mum's gonna question why I'm crying, how am I gonna explain this to her?

I love Vast, not sure if you knew that. I hold her close to my heart. She means so much to me, helped me through many a gender trouble. Solidified a few things about myself. I fear I won't let go of her any time soon. This SMP was something I looked forward to, whenever a stream was scheduled, I'd try to watch it even if it was after midnight for me. It got me back into writing and art, it just holds a very special place in my heart.

Honestly, this Smp really helped my anxiety, helped me interact a bit more in fandoms than I usually do, helped me step away from the sidelines and I can only be grateful for that.

My little magpie is so special to me, I project so hard onto her and I can only thank this smp for letting me make her.

So once again, thank you to the cast of SkyBound, you were all amazing

I just want to say thanks to everyone who has been so nice and welcoming to me as I return to my fandom nonsense! I missed being away and especially missed sharing my writing and art.

With this extra motivation I wanted to try my hand at drawing some different TES characters. I draw plenty of my own OC and Teldryn, of course, but I'd like to branch out. Now I've watched all Saintia Sho's anime, I can be sad bc they never animated the whole story and cut it short instead, fully knowing they were not getting another season (I don't mind the ending tho, but I feel it was rushed and the biggest part of the storyline... well... was supposed to be the part they cut (T_T)).

Which means, between many other incredible moments, no one will ever see this beautiful scene with such a top-notch animation 😔💔

And by "this beautiful scene" I mean that one time Shaka went on a tea date with one of the enemies (Lawless Dysnomia) and half the time looked like this (-.-) since he really wanted to ball out of there ASAP😂 dude didn't even touched the tea ONCE 💔
