Okay weird question, does anyone have book recs that remind them of byler or stranger things in general? Like it literally could be the cover, the characters, the theme, ANYTHING. Okay so you know how gasoline expires? What if there was a book about a motorbiker in a zombie apocalypse who tries to help out as much as they can before their gas stops working. Like they're running against the clock to deliver food and kickstart the start of a new civilization in one of the last working vehicles.

This motorbike was their prized possession before, so they start with a few others who also have working stuff. Slowly they all break down, and they are left fighting the clock, scrounging up the last few dregs of viable gasoline.

Being a motorbiker, they wear leather and a full face helmet. So zombies can't bite them properly. Maybe some of the others are like truckers wearing denim or old military fatigues and these isolated doomsday peppers realise what the apocalypse really needs is community. Hateful truckers realising it doesn't matter the details of your hero, it matters that they saved you.

The climax is them transporting the last few surviving doctors and biologists over to the next city that has a strain of fungus that's resistant (or something like that, maybe sentimental instead of world saving like reuniting a mother and her children).

The motorbike is starting to make some concerning sounds as the gasoline slowly starts to not be viable and hurt the engine. They do a sickass jump over a horde of zombies, using the abandoned truck of one of the other people from the beginning that was also helping. The motorbike makes it, but with a horrible CLUNK the engine finally gives. The people make it in, and there's a scene of them slowly running a hand over their broken machine. Before everything, fixing it had been their only hobby and bikers their only community.

The biker looks out on the little spark of civilization, and finally takes of their helmet. All we see is their smile. Cut to the motorbike resting against a statue, covered in flowers. The old statue plaque has a second one beneath. Zooming in it reads: "The motorbike that drove a new world"

Spooky AU idea

I got an idea for a Horror/scary Edith Finch AU where there actually IS a monster killing everyone. I'm not generally into scary things, so who knows if it's actually scary lol, but here's my idea.

After Odin's ship capsizes, a sea monster finds him and devours him, and gets the taste of Finch blood.

When Molly is left alone in her room, the monster comes in through her bathroom, and consumes her.

It climbs up the cliff from the sea and takes Calvin when Sam and Edie aren't looking.

Walter hears it outside his bunker for years before it finally breaks his wall and comes in through the cracks.

When Barbara is left alone with Rick, the monster comes to take her and Walter. Barbara and Rick manage to fend it off, but not before it kills the former. It slinks away, but doesn't forget that Walter is still there.

It pulls Sam off the cliff like it did with Calvin.

It oozes up through the bathtub drain, turning on the water and consuming Gregory, and when Kay returns to check on her baby all she can do is scream as a black tentacle disappears back into the pipes.

It finds Gus during the storm, sneaking up on him as he flies his kite, his attention to his surroundings inhibited by his current emotions.

It finds Milton in one of the passageways and devours him.

It tracks Lewis to the cannery and hides in his locker, and as he tries to fight it off it shoves his head into the slicer and then eats him.

Oh, and it finds Edie as she walks into the low tide.

Someone with the ability to write horror, feel free to take this if you think it's a good idea!

Ikemen Prince Megamind Fic

I've been watching Megamind obsessively lately because it's my latest hyper focus. I now want to write a fic that is half crack/half serious based on Megamind. I have a rough idea of who I want the characters in the movie to translate to with the game.

Metroman- Chevalier

Megamind- Clavis

Roxanne- Emma

Hal- Rio

Bernard- I'm stuck between Yves/Licht/Leon

Warden- Sariel

Minion- Cyran

I want to keep the setting as Rhodolite but have it be a more modern day setting. I also want to do super powers but I don't want to have Chevalier being too overpowered and I want to give Clavis powers too. I'm thinking about giving Clavis shape shifting powers, making Cyran a cyborg (Clavis saved him from something), and giving Chevalier some good powers but not invulnerability.

I've been thinking about writing some Pee-wee Herman X Reader fanfiction on here, but considering Paul Reubens's death, I don't know if it's a good idea... I know there are people out there who want to imagine themselves with Pee-wee together (myself included), but I don't want to do it in a way that is disrespectful to his legacy.
