This is everything in my WIP folder but a few of these are comfortably abandoned and should definitely be moved to some sort of document graveyard 🤔 Some ideas have already been cannibalized for other fics and they're just making it difficult to navigate.

Honestly wish we could get an episode of House MD from the POV of the rest of the hospital staff. Part of the episode would be very normal, straight forward medicine - and then you see the fellows streaming past the camera screaming MORE MICE BITES or some wild shit as their patient codes for the fourth time that morning. Y’all know those fics where nightwing joins the justice league without anyone knowing about his connection to batman and stuff?

Well I need one where he joins the league and him and batman are able to act professional enough that no one even consider them knowing each other more than just as colleagues. They don’t seem particularly close, they work well together, which is to be expected considering how similar they are.

Literally everything is fine, no one has any doubts, it doesn’t cross anyone’s mind.

Then they walk in on them arguing.

At first it sounds like a classic argument that always happens when working on a team with someone. You’re bound to disagree on something at some point.

But then it starts to sound like the kind of argument that’s clearly a repeated thing. Whatever nightwing and batman are fighting about, they’ve faught about it before.

It starts sounding weirdly personnal. Too personnal for two coworkers who just started working together maybe a few months before.

It’s enough for the other members to start wondering if maybe the two might have known each other for longer than expected and have simply never mentionned it.

Then they hear it.

"Stop acting like you’re my father. I stopped being your responsibility a long time ago"

Danny goes to a new School

So! When Danny got expelled from his High School, it wasn't really a big Suprise. He had missed for too many days or just walked out in the middle of Class, and his grades were lower than anyone else in the school. It was just a matter of time really.

When confronted by his Parents, he had just claimed that it was the constant ghost attacks getting to him (not a total lie) and that he was sorry.

Well, his parents tried to help.

After hearing about his supposed Fear of Ghosts, they decided that it was a good idea for him to go to school somewhere outside of Amity Park, so he could focus on his Schoolwork and not be distracted by the constant Attacks.

Of course no School wanted to accept a problem student like Danny, so they were forced to look into alternative schools to find one that would accept him. And they did! So they had Danny pack his bags, promise to call regularly, and shipped him off to his new School.

When Danny agreed to help Clockwork out with solving discrepancies in time he quickly grew a hatred of the repetitive ticking sound of clocks. Every time he thought he was done with a mission, every time he thought things were going well, that stupid sound brought CW and bad news along with him.

The old god had thrown him into a universe and time very similar to his own this time around. He had pulled some strings to make a convincing cover story and get him fostered by the Waynes, some rich family in the city he was staying in.

He had barely settled in when he heard the noise he dreaded.

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

Danny conveyed his displeasure by sending an ice blast in the direction of the noise, CW was never happy to have to intervene either so Danny knew he would understand his frustration.

Except... when Danny turned to where the noise was coming from—where it should still be as long as Clockwork was in his vicinity, it had stopped.

Danny felt his cheeks warm as he realized he had attacked a regular old grandfather clock instead of the primordial personification of time. The ghost-boy quickly ran over to see how much damage he had done, and hopefully melt the ice with no one noticing.

Though as soon as he finished getting rid of the ice he noticed that the clock was actually part of a secret passageway?

As he walked down into the high-tech secret hideout in the basement of his new residence for Clockwork knows how long he had only one thing to say.

"It's always the billionaire's that are crazy, why do they always have to be the ones that want to adopt me, eugh."

Hi it's just to let you know that the official romanization of Revaan's name is Raverne ! Also they have romanized Baul's name to Baur !

I do like Raverne though, I think it's got a nice fancy sound to it! (I had kinda suspected it was going to be an R instead of an L, so the fact that it's SO close to Laverne except for that is hilarious to me personally.) and Dragoneye Duke is honestly probably the best translation for his title, I wasn't envying the localizers that one. :') Baur instead of Baul I was NOT expecting, but in retrospect I think his name's supposed to be a reference to the Bauru crocodile, so that actually makes way more sense!

someone else also said Meleanor has become Maleanor, which is the REALLY weird one to me, because I was so surprised it was written as Mel instead of Mal in the first place?! oh god no I can't decide which one I like better. 😭 (I wonder if they might change it to Mal...they have made romanization changes before) (like I remember House of Distraction being corrected to House of Destruction in Playful Land) (I did check and she's still Mel for now, but I dunno, they might Mal her up and some point and save me from having to make a decision about which one to use) (HECK I CAN'T DECIDE)
