i love that isafrin can be the most straightforwardly romancey, wholesome pairing on a surface level and then you go one (1) level deeper and run into siffrin’s seething guilt and convoluted feelings around touch and intimacy and the extent to which they want or don’t want those things in a specifically romantic way or if he was trying to seek connection and love in any way he could once he knew that Isabeau wanted those things from him in that context, and the combined power trip/self disgust at “manipulating” Isabeau’s desires without his knowledge to make themself feel wanted and in control. and then you keep going and there’s also Isabeau’s own warped self image (still, in spite of all his changes, fearing that he’s someone that would be shameful to know), his “emotionally stable pillar” role and self-taught therapy talk masking his deep fears of real confrontation (struggling loop after loop to confess, not wanting Odile to confront Siffrin about their weird behavior in the sus quest bathroom talk) and how Siffrin’s fear of vulnerability and Isabeau’s fear of Pushing Too Hard allow both of their issues to fester unspoken long after it’s clear that the problems exist.

all this to say. duality of isafrin. makes my heart full and warm and happy to see the sweet, fluffy, silly love and connection between them (mutually romantic or otherwise). and then also. the delicious, delicious complications. gnawing on them like a dog with a beloved bone

just to offer another perspective re: the ot3 poll from someone who is a fan creator - i fully interpreted that poll to be about tagging your own creations

To give a specific example of my interpretation - if you ship an ot3 and draw two of the characters together, do you/should you tag the ot3 when the 3rd isn’t present?

And in that above example (which i think is a completely valid interpretation of the question tbh) it would be my opinion that it’s at minimum a fandom faux pas to tag a ship that is not (entirely) present As The Op, because that fan creation will end up in the main tumblr tag

(Just like it’s frowned upon to tag ships As The Op on a post that’s not about them, in an attempt to get “reach”)

I’m saying this because i usually find you to be someone whose fandom opinions align closely with mine, and thought your response was a massive overreaction, until I came to the conclusion that you and i (and, i would guess, you and the person you were in direct response to) were looking at tagging from 2 different perspectives

I think it’s fair to say spam tagging/reach tagging As An Op on tumblr is rude behaviour (and frowned upon) AND that any reblog tags added after the fact are fair game as they do not effect the post’s reach in fandom tags + are largely for organisational reasons

(Caveat being there are few ot3 ships with greater reach and popularity than any pairings within, but i know if i was scrolling through the Parker/Hardison/Elliot tag and seeing only Parker/Hardison fanworks I would find that disappointing and even irritating yk?)

I'd agree, if you're the one creating the art in the first place, and it's exclusively for the pair and NOT the OT3, and you have no intention of it being even a part of the OT3, then that's mistagging, and mistagging is a problem.

On the other hand, if you ship the OT3 and your pairing fanwork is made with the OT3 in mind even if you've only done part of it (like, you've drawn spock and bones BUT your drawing is specifically of them while they're part of mcspirk in your head, and the third person just happens to not be currently present), then you're still within your rights to tag it as such (especially because you're still posting the creation to your blog and filing).

Poly relationships don't stop being poly just because only two people are in the room, y'know? As someone who has both written poly relationships and been in them in real life, when I was physically with just one partner it's not like suddenly I was somehow exclusively dating that person because the other person wasn't with us at the time. We were still a trio. And if/when I choose to write about an OT3 (or if I could draw, when I would choose to draw them), if I tag my own work with the OT3, because it is intended to be artwork of a part of the OT3 as a part of the OT3, even if I don't mention the third person (ie, the third person is 'not in the room') then "rude" should not be a descriptor used.

So sure, it may be annoying to you if someone makes art with only two of the OT3 and tags it with the OT3 (in general), but unless you're sure that they're purposefully mistagging it for "reach" and not just making art (including writing etc) for part of their OT3, calling it blanket rude is still not a great way to approach it, and possibly says some stuff about how one views poly relationships in general. And the poll specifically stated "if you ship an OT3" which I take to mean the art (including writing etc) is for the OT3 but only 2 of them are currently present, not "the OTP is the intention and OT3 is tagged for reach." I could be wrong, of course!

Dear, free world: Apathy No More!

Note 2: Short-term goal of 30k for evacuation has been thankfully achieved. I am consulting with the Irish Refugee Council and Doras in Ireland regarding the procedures and requirements for issuing reunification visas once the crossing is operational and my family can evacuate for Egypt. We are a big family of many brothers and sisters who have so many children. They are scattered in different areas in the Gaza Strip including the North of Gaza where they can be very hard contact sometimes.

Many other Gazans in Limerick are working hard and reaching out to Irish politicians and MPs to facilitate a safe passage for their families out of Gaza to Ireland.

When piles and piles of people are apathetic when it comes to the genocide unfolding in Gaza, be the source of relief, hope, and support for the stranded helpless besieged people there. Astonishingly, our life in Gaza turned upside down in an instant?! We woke up one day to realize that a massive-scale war was to be launched against more than 2 million people in Gaza. My Facebook timeline was filled with countless posts in which Gazans publicly asked for forgiveness before their expected imminent mass murder. Can you imagine what it feels like reading all these scary posts and wondering if you should say a final 'Goodbye'?!

Then, Gazans ventured on their own version of Via Dolorosa (Way of Suffering) which included multiple forced displacements, acute life-threatening shortages of water and food, lost jobs, humiliation, mass destruction, injuries, and murder.

It is beyond shocking and sickening how desensitized our world has become to see all the horrifying images of children's body parts scattered everywhere and not lift a finger to stop this ruthless and inhumane genocide. I can say with all certitude on behalf of my people in Gaza that we have lost hope in all the vile desensitized regimes and politicians of the world.

However, we still have strong faith in the lovers and supporters of our just cause who never cease to shower us with their heartwarming words of support and uplifting wishes. Our belief in your humanity and support for our just cause drives us to ask you for help in this worst crisis in our history since the Nakba.

I’ve been discussing ships w my very close homegirl (my sister) and she really fw OT3. Very obviously I’m a sakunirei gyal myself but I do like the appeal of OT3. Where we differ is that I genuinely think that if Suo had feelings for Nirei, seeing how devoted Nirei is to Sakura and helping him reach the top, I don’t think Suo would ever tell Nirei how he feels. Suo keeps his true emotions very close to his chest but it’s clear he’s outwardly fond very of Nirei! I just also feel that with Suo still being guarded he just…. Wouldn’t ever say anything to Nirei about how he truly feels. She says I want Suo to suffer! But I don’t! I actually really like that dynamic 😭 pic related since it (and the few pages surrounding it) were the catalyst for my thoughts

Judging Scout ships cause I want to and I can (dw, I like them all)

Sniperscout: Heavymedic of Scout ships. The defult ship. I do like it, I do see the appeal, and I happily reblog content for them because there's just so much for it and lots of it I enjoy. Having said that it's not my favourite Scout ship at all. I am however a top Sniper enjoyer in sniperscout (not sexually, don't talk to me about this) and it seems most people are too so yay! Their height difference is everything though but it could be better and so,

Heavyscout: aishiaosaop. Now that's the ship for height/size difference enjoyers and yours truly is just that. 10/10, needs more content and shippers in general cause if not I will make shit for it. Also part of my ot3 that is heavymediscout. And for God's sake, if you see them as brothers or anything familial good for you, but don't tell me that here when I very clearly see them romantically. Anyway, this is my favourite Scout ship, and just favourite tf2 ship in general. Heavy calls Scout "leetle Scout" and picks him up and he can carry him around all day and Scout worms himself under Heavy's shirt and hugs his tummy. Grah!

Mediscout: second favourite Scout ship :D. Not many people ship them because they're afraid how sickeningly sweet they would be together (and also cause heavymedic exists) while causing mischief. No, I don't like this ship with Scout being afraid of Medic etc, I do however like them being maniacs together and Scout would be fascinated by Medic's experiments and then they eat organs together <3. They yap together. Also height difference.

Pyroscout: by far the most adorable ship by default and I love them. They'd be so so playful together and Pyro would 100% be so so affectionate with Scout who would be flustered but actually really happy and he would kiss Pyro's mask and Pyro would nuzzle it against Scout's face as kisses and- agh! So good. Scout carries gasoline and then they cause biggest fire in history. Pyro happily listens to Scout's yapping and treats him so so good. If they see Scout's having a bad day or something they bury him under blankets with plushies and pet him like a cat and-

Soldierscout: underrated as all hell (then again you can say that about any Scout ship aside from Sniperscout). Soldier would be kinda rough with Scout cause you know, but if anyone can take it it's Scout indeed, he'd like being thrown around and the chaos and stuff. Scout's adorableness would make even Soldier be soft sometimes and he would initiate soft kisses and cuddles. Ugh, I love them.

Demoscout: they'd be sooo playful together and so comfortable with each other too. Demo would carry Scout around and steal his hat and throw him around. Hell, they're already cuddle buddies (I saw it in a dream) so Demo knows how to treat Scout right. They drink together, of course, and then they are even more playful and affectionate. Good height difference also.

Engiescout: they sit by Engie's dispenser and kiss! They cuddle behind a sentry and cuddle. Scout takes a nap after yapping while Engie works and finds sleeping Scout adorable. Scout helps too with handing him tools and stuff. Scout's happy that he's the taller one in this relationship which causes Engie to smirk and pick him up and Scout dies. And and Engie calls him sugar and darling in that drawl of his and Scout dies again.

This is all basically the same but aaaaaaaaaaaah. I keep saying it, all Scout ships good and cute.

Okay but think of the comedic potential of the Leverage OT3 having been together for years by the time of Redemption, and at one point the others find out.

Breanna would be like "oh my god how did I not see that". Sophie would go "oh that explains a lot of things". (And yeah, it would also be on board for her to know, but one, it's been established that unconventional relationships are kind of a blind spot for her, and two, Parker is weird enough and Eliot's act is good enough that it would help throw her off the scent.)

(Harry wouldn't care much probably.)

And the possibilities of how it could happen. Like. Hardison is up in space, Eliot and Parker are doing something for a con, they see someone coming, Parker is like "quick, let's make out", and throws herself on Eliot. Eliot is like "no, not the lips", but he goes along with it, and then when they're in the clear, he's like "why do you always bite my lips? you didn't have to bite my lips", to which Parker replies "I was playing a character. Clara is a lip biter", and Eliot goes on an angry rant about the whole thing, but also the others overhear it, and Breanna checks in like "Eliot always says it? how often do you guys make out on cons?" and Parker goes "Eliot's not talking about the cons."

OR Parker is upset by something, and leaves the room, and Eliot goes after her, and when he doesn't resurface for a while Breanna goes after him, and they're kissing, and Eliot shouts at her to get out, but she's like "Okay. This is not cool. Eliot, you're super scary and I can see you're pissed at me right now, but I gotta call Hardison," and they're both like no, you don't have to do that, but he's already on call, and Breanna tells him everything. Eliot is facepalming and sighing the whole time. Parker is just like "what? they had to find out eventually." And then Breanna finishes, everyone is dead silent, waiting for his reaction, and Hardison is like "So y'all wasted my time with this? [five-minute rant about how busy he is]" Breanna is flabbergasted. "So Eliot makes out with your girlfriend and that's your reaction?" So Hardison just goes "Damn sis I better damn hope that when my girlfriend is upset our boyfriend would go and comfort him. Get yo act together." He hangs up, camera cuts to Breana, her face frozen while trying to process the information. Then she just goes "HOLY SH-" [commercial break]

A/N: Before anyone jumps down my esophagus to yell at me about the character’s sexuality. I know Vaggie’s canonically a lesbian and Charlie is bisexual, I know. Don’t send hate or anything cause I will delete that shit, I don’t have time for it. Alright with that out of the way. LET'S JUMP IN!! I also made headcanons- If you want a fic I will definitely write one, I just kinda dumped my brain on this.

-🎀 First off let me say, these girls love you in every way imaginable but they show it in different ways. Charlie shows it by hugs and kisses between work to constantly profess her love to you and Vaggie so all of hell could listen. Vaggie shows her love in more simple acts like getting you food or dragging you away from work if she sees you working too hard. 

-👑 Both women are very very protective of you as well, now that’s not say they won’t go overboard if you get caught in the line of fire from the random villain of the day. Both have different ways of trying to get you out of trouble but will immediately come to your defense if they dare try to lay a hand on you. Charlie tries to get the situation to settle down while Vaggie locates every exit there to get you out as fast as she can if it goes south.

-🎀 Don’t get me started on if you surprise them both with a date, day off or just a simple random kiss. Both of them get extremely flustered when this happens, it’s amazing to see it happen. Don’t worry though both ladies will get you back in some fashion just keep an eye out.

Going off of the kiss idea? You gotta know when to strike to really catch one or both off guard. Charlie is by far the easiest to catch off guard, she’s just so busy and her mind is everywhere all at once it gets too much sometimes so you walking up to her and bringing her into a gentle but sweet kiss gets all the stress out. Of course she’s gonna let out a soft squeak and get all blushy but she almost always melts into the kiss immediately. This is just a headcanon of mine but she definitely stims by tapping her hooves on the ground to show how happy or excited she is. (GIVE ME MORE GOAT LIKE CHARLIE CONTENT PLEASE)

Vaggie is somewhat harder to surprise, she’s trained to immediately notice when someone is trying to sneak up on her or when something is out of place. She can’t help it and sometimes she wishes she didn’t really have to be this extra vigilant, but to really surprise her and get her flustered. Don’t be sneaky at all cause once again she will immediately and unapologetically point it out. So your best bet? Just walk up to her and kiss her cheek or on her lips. She won’t see it coming at all, she’ll get all red in the face and flustered beyond belief that her wings might just pop out.

-👑 Now if you work at the hotel with them Charlie will most likely try to help lighten your workload (please tell her your okay, baby stresses enough as is). Vaggie will help in some way or form whilst making sure Charlie isn’t overworking herself. Oh you need more paper? Don’t worry she’s running to get more. Something or someone is getting on your nerves? She’s pulling you away to do something else or she’s scaring the other person away.

-🎀 If you don’t work at the hotel and you keep coming back stressed as ever? Don’t worry your pretty little head, they will pamper you all night and the next morning? Your boss is suddenly giving you a pay raise AND the next four weeks off. 

-👑 If you are an early bird that tends to wake up at or a little after the crack of dawn? Good luck getting out of bed. Charlie is a cuddler and will not let you out so easily, Vaggie in my mind is a light sleeper so she wakes up to give you a gentle kiss before immediately falling back asleep head on Charlie’s chest. Double the points if you cook them breakfast when they wake up, you won’t escape their barrage of kisses.

-🎀 They both will allow you to steal some of their clothes and will steal your clothes in return. It’s a win-win situation. 

Charlie is canonically tall, like 6 foot something now- if you're taller than her she is wearing any hoodies or sweatpants of yours there is no discussion here. It will happen. But if you are shorter than her which is most likely she will happily let you and Vaggie steal her sweatshirts/hoodie/jackets.

Vaggie on the other hand is short like 5’5 (me too girl wtf-) or 5’7 so if you're taller than her? She’s stealing your clothes too but she’s much sneakier than Charlie. But if you're shorter or the same height as her she’ll allow you to steal her clothes as well but please don’t keep them for a week straight. She has a routine of doing all three of your guys' laundry and she doesn’t want to miss cleaning certain clothes you and Charlie steal.

-👑omg let me tell you- these girls love to pamper the shit out of you but if you return it? They will fall more in love with you. Massaging Vaggie’s back after a rough day or maybe helping her preen her wings. Washing Charlie’s hair or maybe rubbing where her horns are at as she lays between your legs and rants about whatever had her upset that day or if we are going down the path where Charlie has more goat like features (pls someone- I want to talk about this) just helping trimming her hooves.
