If this is romantic only... I have 49 total. I do think it's a lot compared to most people I've seen hehe. (And then I have a bunch of platonic + familial f/os too)

Defunct (adj.) No longer existing or functioning. Are any of your f/os from media that is already completed? If you could have any new content for your f/o, what would you like to see?

I mean, a lot of the Zelda ones come from games that likely won't get a sequel so that's finished. It would be cool to see them in a game again but unless we get more sequels, it's unlikely. But even seeing them in another Hyrule Warriors type situation would be cool ^^

Saudade(n.) the feeling of longing, melancholy, or nostalgia. Have you had any of your f/os for a long time? How long have they been your f/o? Which one have you had the longest?

Yeah, I've been shipping with a lot of my Zelda f/os since I was younger - like I have fics from 2016 or so with them (i.e. Ghirahim & Dark Link), though technically the Snow White with the Red Hair ones count too (Shirayuki, Zen & Obi) - I was planning a self insert in 2017 & never got around to writing it - though I'm still using the lore currently ^^

Short Break and To Dos!

Hello all! 🍄🍄👻 I'm glad to see people enjoying Day 3 so far! I was so nervous about showing another side to Mychael in the update I thought people wouldn't like him as much but plenty have reacted positively! ❤️

I'll add a TLDR; above the read more, but if you don't mind my ramblings and want more details about everything, I'll write everything below! Light spoilers ahead!

I'll be taking a short break from MO development until 28th October to work on a short VN for the Monstrous Desires jam!

Regarding the feedback on Day 3, I'm glad people aren't as averse to the new side of Mychael, in that he isn't always soft and sweet. I want people to fall in love with a person after all, not a yandere caricature, and that means that person can get upset, angry and sometimes irrational when we don't know what's going on in their head even towards the subject of their affections. While some (understandably!) were shocked about his reaction to the mushrooms, it'll be clear as to why (hopefully!)

Some of you have given incredibly accurate theories, and I'll take that as something I've done well in building up the mystery!!! I'm excited to share more in the next update, but for now!

1. I'll be taking a short break from MO development to work on a short VN for the Monstrous Desires jam!

What I have planned for Day 4 of MO might be the biggest update so far, since one route will lead to a few official BAD ENDINGS as opposed to 'dead ends' like the current demo has. To those who really want to, you finally get to see Mychael at his worst. As usual, writing the script takes a few months with plenty of changes in between, and I don't wanna bulldoze ahead and rush the story when it's getting to the climax!

But before I jump into all of that I just wanna give myself a creative exercise and try exploring a different theme, style and setting with a fresh new character for the jam! Since I'm a sucker for the trope... yes, the new blorbo will also be a yandere, sorry, I'm predictable.💔 The jam ends on October 28th so development on MO will continue then!

The last time I wrote something remotely sci-fi was in high school, so this will be fun to try!

Trembling Essence Devlog 2:💙Testing the Afternoon route!💙

Hello guys and welcome new followers, here's how the progress of the game is going in a valentine theme! :]

This part will contain spoilers if you haven't played through the [Extended Demo], specifically the afternoon route. Click here if you would like to play! :]

Now that game development posts are every two weeks I spent first week brainstorming ideas and putting the script writing in order before I went in and continued fixing up what was left of afternoon route. :[]

Afternoon route:

Since this is still just Day 3, I wanted to be extra careful with the pacing since I'm still balancing between a meaningful slow-burn and not to over-doing it. :,] I kept most of what I added recently fairly simplistic.

In good news the part leading up to the kitchen scene is done outside of a couple of grammar checks. Not much was changed here from what I had already fixed.

Last week I talked about how I wanted the closeness build-up to feel more rewarding. I had a lot of fun going through and updating this section but I did get carried away adding more than I should of here since it's a slow-burn moment. I'm still keeping what I fixed but taking out parts that suit more of a Day 4/5+ situation. I'd show a screenshot of it since it'll be a while until I come back to it but it's kind of spoilery(?) in it's own way HOWVEVER, I can say it was two light-hearted situations that can only be triggered by your interactions with Noah. :,] *The callbacks that are in canon with how Noah reacts to what you add into the soup are still here though and aren't being removed just to clarify! :,P

End scene:

I wont talk too much about the sewing scene and instead focus on the final section of the afternoon route before it goes into Day 4.

I went through and adjusted this scene to happen differently but it was difficult to make it work around the progression into Day 4 so I cleaned up the dialog and did a small balance with the pacing. I added call backs the player(Y/N) mentioned with Noah to be shown around this part too. :[]

Seeing as use sparked things up with bird comment I wonder. Is there a different level of enjoyment between people enjoying your comic casually, and people breaking out the conspiracy cork board trying to figure out the story before it happens?

You'd have to ask readers, man, I dunno.

I do think it's really obvious that the reactions differ between the two types when it's a scene like this, one that's really hurt by the webcomic medium. More casual readers understandably get frustrated that they can't have the whole story at once, while the plotters, I think, enjoy the opportunity the gaps provide to tweak their theories.

Peeking in on 4chan (and someone there is dead-on), I would advise not to use information from the print books or tumblr in your theory-crafting. The agib never had an introduction in the comic - they're not going to feature meaningfully here. Outside lore is happy fun times, but I'd be even more of a hack than I am if I was going to do a plot turn that was only set up in my blog :3

I do think I didn't foreshadow some stuff enough. Part of that is me deciding to give this all more closure in this final chapter. I moved some things way ahead that I had originally intended for the next book. In some ways a lot of these final scenes are set-up for the next book. So they're answering questions while establishing new mysteries, for later.

I do write for the binge read, though. This scene is meant to feel like a gishgallop of overwhelming bullshit crushing Sette into compliance; she has no choice but to go along with it because all other options are exhausted, her guardian is dead, and she's surrounded by these giant figures who know so much more than she does. The confusion you feel is exactly what Sette feels. She'll roll with it as best she can with her Frummagem braggadocio, but you'll see where she gets knocked right back down again. This is way bigger than she is.

But the momentum is absolutely lost reading a page at a time. It'll hopefully work best in a full read-through :)

What other Disney movie do you think you drew the most inspiration from, if any?

HIIIII! I'm so sorry I'm late to this! Been finally designing the villains, and working, so I had to try and make time for this!

I briefly mentioned it in Chapter 1, but that was so long ago, lol. 😆 WG!Flazino is voiced by Josh Keaton! He's actually been in a few Disney projects, including the voice of Young Hercules! Chose him because he has a voice that fits his range of emotion from stressed out, to snarky, to genuinely trying his best. Plus he has a great singing voice. (Also, LOVE your voice for UaS!Flazino!)

2. On one hand, they'd applaud them for getting their Flazino under control with little to no hesitation or resistance. On the other, they're appalled that UaS!Royals even HAD a kid! WG!Magnifico and Amaya don't plan on having heirs, they want to stay in power longer than humanily possible, so they need all the magic they can get.

WG!Amaya would share a few spells that can UaS!Amaya to spy on UaS!Flazino when he's out of sight, or even spy on any possible traitor in the kingdom. (And they'd exchange tea recipes) Their respective pets would get along as well.

UaS!Magnifico would get along GREAT with WG!Mags. They both want the power of a star, and WG!Mags actually succeeded in getting a taste of that power. I can definitely see them going on and on about how hard it is to keep their Flazino's in line. Only, WG!Magnifico would slightly respect UaS!Flazino more for being a royal and not a peasant like WG!Flazino.

3. Hercules, big time! In fact, Wish Granted is part of an homage to the Disney Renaissance movies, where they just had super creative films one after the other! Hercules is actually one of my all time favorite Disney films, and Star's personality and strength is heavily inspired from it! Hell, a LOT of the humor is similar to Hercules, especially in Magnifico! (Plus I have a superhero story in development where is a combination of Wish, Hercules and Superman.)

4. Yes, actually! 😂 I didn't realize I NEVER showed one in the beginning. Oh my gosh, I'm embarrassed….

So it'll be shown during the set up for the finale! Once the royals gather up the people to make 100 wishes, they take in another newcomer to demonstrate their power. (So 101 actually!), it'll basically show what will become of the Hamlet when their wishes are taken. Magnifico plans to just eat them all and kill them on the spot if Asha doesn't give up Star.

I just got a question about Bob and Frank! I was reading your last post about them and it got me curious, what are their flaws? And I while I can imagine they probably have quite a list. It could be on a romance aspect or just in general. I’m loving the way you portray their character. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen with these two. So, it just got me a little curious about what you’d come up with.

These are also some of the things I try to keep in mind while I'm writing that fanfic on my ao3 so this is like lore stuff for that that ties into stuff they do or how they might react in that fic

alsoalso i dont plan on making these two very uwu at all like these guys are really terrible and thats why i love them but yeah just a lil warning just in case

so

Bob is meticulously obsessive. Not only when infatuated with someone or when he's craving a bite, but in his normal life as well. I would describe how he goes about his daily routine as obsessive. (this is all just my own lore stuff) Since starting up the diner, he has a decently rigid routine that he likes to keep to. This is an aftereffect from being in prison for so long, he keeps a timely routine of work, leisure, working out, sleep, etc. He's found a good balance that still gives him time out of town for murdery business.

The obsessiveness (of course) hits the romantic side of him too. If he finds romantic interest in someone, he can become infatuated and then dangerously obsessive and controlling. Wanting to know where you are, who you're with, controlling what you eat, all that stuff. He had pressured a girl into engagement after dating a short while and, when she finally had the nerve to try and leave, he killed and ate her in desperation and greed. This was the one that sent him to prison since she had a family and stuff. He's got a new traveler he has an eye on now （ΦωΦ)

Another fun 'flaw' is that he refuses to dim himself. Even if he wasn't a murdery weirdo, he has a loud and overwhelming personality that matches his physique. If he notices it makes you uncomfortable, he'll turn it up some more to watch you squirm. Though, even if people push back, he doesn't back down either so there's no winning when he wants to loom his presence over people. He thinks it's funny when others are so uncomfy.

He's like also actually really bad at taking out the trash though and needs constant reminders. Even Frank is like dude cmon

He likes black licorice ??? ew???/?

Obvs one but he's murderous! Like wow! He's tried to kill Frank before! It's hard to be around this guy long-term. He has less-than-good impulse control.

As for Frankie- -

I've said this one before but it's still a flaw is he's got hella bad hygiene and doesnt really give a shit. Yeah he'll shower or somethin' but it's def not a priority every week. He keeps his hair short just for maintenance. and shaves 'cause he doesnt like being hairy. He makes fun of Bob for his hairiness

He's a mild klepto. Like he doesn't break into people's homes or anything but yknow.... kid stealing is one. He steals cars, shit from stores, pick-pockets. He's friends w the local pawnshop guy that he barters with.

He uses slurs but like one of those guys that tries to be like 'i use them for everyone so it's okay'. Bob beat him up one time so he at least doesn't do it around him or at the diner. He's not legit anything-phobic, he just knows it'll cut the deepest when used correctly.

He doesn't like dogs :(

And one thing they both share is that they lie all. the. time. Do not believe a single thing these dudes say about their private lives or past lives or anything. Like, spoiler alert, Bob has n o t owned this diner for 10 years are you kidding. Don't trust these two! Oh no!!!

the concept in general is super cool. Id always wondered about iterators making a purposed species to facilitate their repairs. I assumed someone had to have tried it, and it just didnt work, but this is a wonderful way to make it happen yayyyyyy

ahhksjfjf thank youuu!! if im being honest, the expedition program initially existed just to add some stuff from the game to make urban au more than just a slice of life anthro fanfic (nothing wrong with that ofc, i just wanted to do something different) but as i started to expand around it i found that it's actually super good for driving the plot and keeping the iterators running through to what would be saint's campaign in regular timeline (also they keep the tramlines operating which connect different iterators)

random tirade following i apologise in advance kahfjfj i'm just excited to share all of this with people finally (i've been planning this au out since like september)

the way i'm gonna write a lot of urban au issues is that the time spent outside of the program is for lots of development between characters, and time spent in the program does more world building and lore stuff (ofc either can still happen in the other context, but that's how it'll generally be)

and i'm just gonna say this now, the program solved a massive issue i had in the beginning involving arti's scars, because she doesn't hate scavengers in urban au and was never attacked by them. SO i've got it now that prior to the incident, arti was a very valuable member of the program due to her strength and explosives, and so when nomad goes missing they decide to send her solo. during her search, she ends up getting attacked by a miros vulture and manages to make it out after getting hit by one of its lasers which gives her the scar. normally that wouldn't be enough for arti to leave the program, because she's burnt off a lot of her tail fur by this point and doesn't care about her appearance. HOWEVER she's actually pregnant with outlaw at this time, so she leaves because she doesn't want to hurt outlaw (this may come back as a plot point in series 2 cuz it follows outlaw, i do not know)

I think, in the final battle of s2, Blakk didn't care for them anymore, since dark bane are super powerful - they'd be more useful as cavern enforcers, probably, and we're off-screen being evil that way. after the battle -depends. Cc comes from a rich family and was known as a sport slugslinger - he might've gone back to that, he might be laying low to go back to that in a few years. This is probably true for most of the jock lackeys actually - shooting sports has always been a sport for either the really desperate trying to protect ppl, OR the super wealthy who like wearing thousands of dollars of gear to show off. Twist is...well, I explore it in ch2 (already deep into it), but essentially, it comes down to if he's redeemed, and when. Maybe he wasn't at the citadel but super loyal. Maybe he planned to rh. After master shanais murder. Or maybe he went back to underground foolery, as he did pre-the new kid, I associated w Blakk but still in organized crime. What is certain is that, after s2, twist had been publically for Blakk, like Maurice - both of them would need ALOT of help branching out of the underground due to their reputations. So they'd stay there... unless some fanfic writer used their unclear future as a way to breach the plot hole of how the goon got into the deep caverns..............stay tuned for ch2

And Imma be so real - I'm not holding hope for them coming back. Nerd corps is gone, and I couldn't watch ascension - not because of the animation, because it did something slugterras never done - go with the boring plot line. Like really, no kord or pronto, delving into slug biology instead of EVERYTHING ELSE, and bringing back blakk for a NOT good reason? It strips the heart of the original show. It would take a lot of money and good intentions to continue the show decently, and god help me, this shows been so LUCKY with not having any contradictory lore - get the wrong writers, and it'll break like a cheap pencil. So it could come back...but I'll be building up my ao3 regardless. I'll take the Slugterra canon into my own hands, and keep it alive through my fun obsession with it, side by side w all my homies online who wanna do the same :)

Honestly, my like, "whole beginning of OdyPen/MenHelen" fic or like, them all "falling in love" during the oath of Tyndareus fic :3

Honestly because like, I have so so much lore for them all. And I have so much lore in how OdyPen fell in love. They're basically getting to know each other for around 3 months before Odysseus finally goes to Tyndareus to tell his idea. And I plan for like, a lil bit told of them every other day or so :') so it'll be a LOT of work but I'm really excited. I think I have something really unique with them, even if it's a bit silly and "wild' lol. It's also very much Penelope centric lol

I have a lot planned for them, and honestly, I almost wonder sometimes if I should just "start from THEIR beginning" as it would probably make it so much easier to write my later on fics because then, most readers would've probably have read that fic so then stuff won't have to be as explained. I have so much lore and so much lil changes that I honestly would HAVE to explain some things in order to have readers understand :')

Wound: Luciel will bury and hide all types of his wounds, worse wound he ever experienced is probably both mental and emotional. Seeing the bodies of his family scattered on the ground because of the Horrors and Lost, and how he is a victim of SA when he was still human, he was still haunted by that memory. (This part of Luciel story never I really publicly say due to Luciel story still not fully final)

Ghost: Himself, more precisely "The Angel", so this is actually part of his lore in the past before the Queenslayer operation. After experiencing trauma from the events he experienced after reborn as a revenant, and how hard it is to live as a revenant he slowly lost his humanity completely. Here he is no longer "Kiyoshi" and becomes Nameless he kills and hunts both humans and Revenants to survive and steal from them (because GEN-1 there's no Bloodbeads) and from this he was given the title "The Angel"

Random fun fact and why he called The Angel, is first because of the halos and his appearance in general and second because at some points he actually still give mercy (mostly to children, he'll often let them go of even give his supplies or protect them, doesn't matter if they're human or revenant, all because he sometimes see himself in them)

Skin: He is struggling really bad, but he doesn't know how to deal with them or have difficulty understanding it, even though he doesn't remember (based on the canon Protagonist story because they lose their memories) He always had nightmares about it but he just dismissed it as just a "dream", he is a failure, a monster, and a nightmare in its time.

More story to add as details: Luciel lost all his memories because he keeps killing himself again and again (after the death of his family) until there's nothing left, and that's why he actually "nameless" because he doesn't remember his own name, until in Queenslayer Operation he named himself "Luciel" (which name was actually given by a child he saved, unfortunately that kid is dead (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧ ehe) so... Luciel actually been wondering about his past, but at the same time if he get his memories back it'll be a nightmare for him.

His lore is still not final, some parts are probably change later

But this is the current/newest version, but I'm keeping how his whole family is dead 🙃 and basically, the current Luciel is like a whole new person, until the story I write about outside the redmist he found another vestige of his, and it's just past when he's in middle school and here he finally understand that "familiar" feelings he feels from Louis, because Louis is actually his childhood friend

New Comics Time!

And it's a long one this week. Lots of comics. I might poke my head in Harley Quinn or Powergirl later for completion/curiosity purposes but I wanted to talk about a lot of these now :)

Detective Comics #1090 - The flashbacks in this issue are far more interesting in my opinion that the present day which is like 'oh no, another serial killer!' While I do think that it's hilarious that Taylor is having it so Thomas Wayne saved Joe Chill's life back in the day (A plot point that would be right at home in Batman: Year Two where Bruce is busy agonizing over the fact that he's planning to kill Joe Chill with the same that killed his parents), I still can't help but be intrigued by the themes of unseen consequences of well-intended actions that he seems to be setting up. Between Thomas saving Joe Chills life, and the fact that I can't help but get shady vibes from Scarlett Martha Scott's anti-aging stuff and offer to Bruce, I'm interested is seeing where this goes

Art-wise, previously, Mikel Janin's art has always had this too-smooth feel to it that made me think of cgi or cell-shading and it just didn't work for me. This time, with him doing his own colors, there's still some of that smoothness, but he's also some texture to it that has vastly improved my enjoyment. We really are in the middle of an age of these bright, technicolor comics and I really like it.

Action Comics #1072 - I do appreciate the flashback we got to explain Mon-El this issue as someone who is not familiar with Superman lore. Kon and Kenan continue to be fun while the adventure in the Phantom Zone continues. For the backup, I continue to really love the art--especially the environment this issue. Plot wise, my curiosity about the prisoner and the nature of Kara's mission is building. I'm a little worried that the tension is getting build up too much and when we finally do get answer's it'll be a disappointment, but we shall just have to see.

Green Arrow #17 - Most of this issue is taken up by cleaning up the last of the double-agent Green Arrow plotline that I largely did not read. I did enjoy the start of Condon's run though. I liked the atmosphere it was setting up and the sniping between Ollie and Batman was very enjoyable. I am interested in seeing more of this new costume. The mask makes him look younger.

Superman #19 - Okay, the moment where both Clark and Lois ducked into the same broom closet to go out and save the day? That was cute. I think my main take-away from this issue was that I really don't know a lot of the current Superman status quo because, like, Lois Lane as the Planet's Editor in Chief? The whole Supercorp thing? Luther's amnesia. I've got nothing on any of it. Part of being a comics fan is rolling with the punches though. I'll probably keep seeing where this story goes, but I think it's also getting prone to being dropped as I wander off.

Absolute Wonder Woman #1 - This was so good. I admit, that was I was doubtful when I first heard the announcement because, I've found in my experience that Kelly Thompson writes fun comics but ones that don't necessarily grab me. I think this best thing of her's I've read, honestly. Diana as an exile! I am also obsessed with Circe being the one to raise her. "How you fall in love with a child is by raising it." It's hitting the same beats for as one of the best parts of the Messner-Loebs run which was Circe as Donna Milton and how she found herself getting drawn into Diana's orbit. The things you do, the people you surround yourself with. That matters for your character. I just loved seeing that redemption there for her.

I love what this is setting up in terms of Diana setting out to try and find who she is and what was hidden from her. There is this mission that is tying her to an origin and people she's never gotten the chance to know. It leaves me really hoping that we get to see her reunited with the Amazons at some point.

The art was also gorgeous. Bellaire's colors were knocking it out of the park as always. Those long horizontal panels I really like, but I did leave wishing I could read this on paper. I am just a little tempted to go out and start getting this in floppy form and we shall see, but also, I am spending this money of dcu infinite and trying to not buy a ton of comics weekly on top of that so I'll probably try to just hold out for the trade instead.

The Flash #14 - This is looking like it's going to be such a fun story arc. Vacation to Skartaris!--I am not the Warlord fan, but it still brings me joy. Not sure if I'm really feeling the artist for this, but the lettering continues to be top notch for this series.

Nightwing #119 - I am a fan of this creepy puppet-master type villain it looks like we're going to get. Fun archetype. I do like the setup we're getting here and the DickBabs banter is top notch. (As a side note, while I know Barbara isn't back to all of her post-crisis glory, I really do appreciate Oracle popping up everywhere in comics again especially coming from the new52). Interested in seeing where it goes!

Green Lantern: Dark #1 - Another comic I checked out because I could, and unlike the werewolf Batman one, I think this one's going to be a keepr. The fantasy vibe that this had was very fun. I like how it played with stories. I also really liked the art. It had this very nice sketchy feel to it.

The Question: All Along the Watchtower #1 - I really liked the opening sequence--that spread of the watchtower? Beautiful. That being said, there was a lot of set-up in this issue. It felt like most of the time was spent having Renee follow Wonder Woman around and have stuff explained to her. This is a new setting and this is also a lot of the introduction to the Watchtower that we're getting prior to Justice League: Unlimited #1 afaik, but I also can't help but feel that there could've been a more efficient way of getting this information across. Say, a map, or a casefile, or even Renee explaining it to the reader rather than having everything explained to her. I think what I really wanted was Renee taking more of a lead, and I hope that we do get that next issue now that all the set-up's out of the way.

All of that being said, the supporting cast is shaping up to be very fun. I was admittedly, holding out for the Huntress, but I will not complain about the Blue Beetles + Batwoman! I am looking forward to seeing how that team unfolds. Art-wise, I don't think I really have much to say, but I did really like the text-boxes that the robot guy had. Nice touch right there.

I have. So many thoughts and emotions about it and I'm still processing but I just wanted to counter some of the vitriol I'm seeing from people who are doing the Fandom thing with what I hope are reasonable, normal thoughts. Ha. Haha. Anyway. Mostly spoiler free but there's one small thing and one BIG thing that is that I'll put under the read more.

There was a lot to like about this game. The combat was fun and I think upon a 2nd playthrough it'll be even better. Some of it could get repetitive but its not a big gripe.

The characters were very endearing and felt well fleshed out as people and I enjoyed spending time with them. Most of the side quests were related to your companions in some way and I thought that was clever. Some were more interesting than others.

The writing has been contentious and I can see why. It can get cheesy and predictable in places, but overall I thought it was very similar to DA2. I enjoyed it and thought it reflected some realistic responses to what was happening around you. If you're here for gritty edgelord shit 24/7 go play Dark Souls you weirdo.

I can only speak for the Lucanis romance cause I love an angsty man, but it was perhaps, underpadded. It was slow and sweet and I did like it very much but I could have used some...more you know? I didn't even get to see my own tits and that's tragic.

Solas. I did not romance the egg in DAI. I do not like the egg. I liked how I got to handle the egg. So much. I've seen the Lavellan romance scenes and if there's any uproar from the Sollavellans (one l or 2?) it's because they didn't let you see the 2 of them fuck nasty in high definition for an hour. It's Rooks story now. You're fine. Go write fanfiction.

The lore. Hoo boy. Honestly they really did put everything in a blender and fished out what they liked. Everything is made up and the points don't matter. I don't LOVE that they retconned so much of what was in Origins. Zevran and the Crows especially seems really odd. I THINK the idea is that it's been like 20-30ish years since all that and stuff has changed or information was wrong or inaccurate or whatever? But that seems lazy. I wish they'd addressed it more with SOMETHING. But also there's 3 games worth of lore, not to mention comics and novels and like. I get it. But consistency guys. Add more codex entries or something. This is my biggest gripe. It did not impact my enjoyment too much. I loved what was added.

That ending was so ABRUPT?! At least with DAI you got a ending party and final scene with your LI but here you get some end cards and voice over? I would have accepted that if we were getting DLC but this?? This is insane! Bioware I am begging on my knees to give us at least a "well we did it!" scene. The ending was epic but the ENDING was a disappointment.

Now. The suicide mission. I spent [redacted] number of hours investing blood, sweat, and tears of friendship into these 7 assholes and there is NO way to save 1 of them?? And you have to choose between Harding and Davrin??? Just those 2?? There should be a way to save them! Don't give me the no matter what crap! I don't want CONSEQUENCES I want FRIENDSHIP. If you could do it in ME2 you should be able to do it here. Also. Can we not have it be 50/50 heroic sacrifice with a black man? Like. I know you can technically choose but like why make it an option. It just feels weird.

So yeah. Initial thoughts and feelings. Overall good with some stuff I really disliked. I will be normal about this eventually.

- This is going to be the post where all the links and stories of this AU will be as I develop it over time, and I'll organize it as best I can!

During an unknown time period, a cosmic force of unfathomable proportions tears holes between realities, both big and small, snatching those unaware in a tear that led to a specific world....

In one world, a digitized simulation whose sole AI ringmaster administrator was in the middle of giving his 6 human avatar guests a rundown of the next adventure he had in mind, until a reality tear enveloped the purple one, confusing everyone and briefly causing chaos within the digital circus before he is taken, but not before adding in one final joke to humor himself.

In the other, the world was already war-torn and a bit empty on human life except for cybernetic robots, one of which was a giant TV-headed one. He was in the midst of using black smoke to teleport himself to another location, but a reality tear happened to appear, sending him far away from his home dimension, to somewhere far beyond....

The whimsy, mischievous, yet so annoying and jerkish asshole of the Amazing Digital Circus, he had been taken away from the now familiar simulated world he had come to call "home", initially thinking he had finally escaped. But nope! Jax was still in purple rabbit digital avatar, now apparently stranded in a big, desolate world that was far too realistic looking for Dentures' to have made-

"What, you expected the author to be writing everything? Nah! I can speak for myself, and boy, do I got things to say!"

"First of all, @$&^ the one who sent me to this place! Two, I hate the stupid monsters that roam everywhere in this stupid world, they ruin any sort of fun I have. Third, why am I stuck having to listen to a giant screen-faced robot who I can't even understand because he's talking gibberish!"

(In reverse) "I heard that." >:(

"Shush you. Eh, I guess this is my new circumstances, oh well. Be sure to be on the lookout for updates to the adventures me and the big guy get into, it'll be hilarious watching him do all the work! While I just sit back and relax now that I don't have to deal with that hammy AI or the others. Don't need 'em. Never have, and never will! Hahahaha!"

-Visionet, or more often known as Titan TV Man (abbreviated TTVM), is a giant, TV head robot who can teleport with a black smoke effect, is all kinds of stoic and badass, yet cares for those who are smaller than him as comrades. His abilities are diverse and set him far apart from your regular TV head character, on top of being tall enough to look into a 4 or 5 story building (not that he'd do that mind you); plus he likes to swear or say some vulgar innuendos whenever he can, something that Jax gripes about since despite being WAY beyond the range of the Circus, he can't swear without the profanity filter. Visionet was just trying to teleport to a mission objective when he landed in a hostile world that seemingly was once full of life and is now roaming with all sorts of creepy monsters, but is now dead, with only a small purple rabbit jackass to act as company. The Titan makes it really fucking clear that he hates being the one pulling his weight while Jax just chills behind him. However...something within Visionet recognizes that there's more to Jax that meets the eye...

(In reverse) "On any other day, I would've crushed you within my fist, but for some reason you have something in your soul that stops me..."

"Is it my charm? It's gotta be my charm! I do try to be as presentable as possible, and that's just one part of me I have!"

(In reverse) "At times like this though, I severely question my own judgement." -_-

i just feel like yapping between work emails

but remember how that big streamer asked me to be on a collab with her with some other people? she asked me to do a collab with her today and it was just us - and when i was out of town she sent me dms and talked about irl stuff with me

and idk it's really hard for me to make friends in the streaming space bc i don't think i offer much outside some one-liners and good vibes so it's been really nice to see like, no, people do enjoy my company and want me on their streams!

(especially after a recent event that really hurt my feelings and had me feeling especially "too loud, too annoying, too much" etc - something that got @sparklyeyedhimbo the angriest i've ever seen him lmao)

we had so much fun today i laughed so hard i gave myself a headache (god bless u REPO don't ever change) and i def feel like we got to be closer friends

and like, i know i'm kinda putting her on a pedestal but i'm also not. i genuinely enjoy spending time with her and talking to her outside of streaming and i don't give a shit about clout, i'm never going to try to stream full time or make a career out of it. i'm just excited to meet new people in different circles than what i normally find myself in.

and maybe making posts like this is creepy but only a very small percentage of people read my personal posts anyway lol

i'm also nervous for the ateez lore stream on the 10th. i always get a little anxious when people i don't know start interacting with the announcements on bsky and here bc i know i have some differing opinions about stuff. and then i'm nervous it'll be like last time and i'll put in all this effort and no one will come.

and if that happens it's fine, i'm just going to get through it so i can offer the vod to people that might want to experience one of my lore nights or maybe have questions. at least it'll be an easy reference.

as for work, i'm still so fucking behind, but i'm finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. i have to get quite a lot done tonight and i'm SO tired from that collab (oops lmao) but once i conquer the stuff i need to work on today and tomorrow the rest should start flowing MUCH easier and i can finally get caught up - hopefully before the 10th.

i haven't been writing too much, expanded a little on afterimage last night, but i've been sick and it's been hard to find my brain for long enough to do anything lol.

i'm a little lonely, though. i miss writing fanfiction and seeing people's reactions - though part of the reason i stopped was i didn't see much of those anymore either. it's hard to talk to some of my friends about my og fics bc they're either not interested, are clearly only interested to be polite, or talk over me to talk about their fics instead.

and it's not like i can talk about much without spoiling things but man i really wanna feel like someone other than me, kali, and my husband is excited for this thing

anyway enough yapping, my head hurts, i should keep working so i'm not doing emails at 2am again

i really wanna get back to making gifs and having enough brainpower and time to create things just for fun. maybe once the house stuff is done.

So brief update-

Medication is still sucking, so activity is going to be sparse for a while, but I don't wanna focus on that too much, so in other news-

I just beat Bayonetta 2. It was a ton of fun, way more the original which was already a blast to play, and I'm only going to partially attribute that to the Samus outfit being able to morphball and have Super Metroid sound effects (I wore it for pretty much half the game, thank you Samus amiibo-)

So now I just gotta watch a lore video since I can't get my hands on Bayo 3 just yet, and then I will maybe possibly have a Bayonetta's son verse ready to go.

No idea what I'll do with it, but it'll be fun to have... I think?

Aside from that, I've been playing a bunch of P5X thanks to the auto-translator mod and that's been really fun, and very interesting to get to see more of this new entry in the series. Like I do really like the characters, but what interests me most is the lore stuff. This like... Multiverse thing, and the whole Phantom Idol system, it gets my brain tingling in a "How can I make this about my Spider-Man AU" kind of way.

Finally, yesterday I got a bike and TV from Goodwill! It was actually pretty affordable, and while I can't use either quite yet (the bike needs aired up, and I need to rearrange some things to have a place to put the TV), it'll be great to be able to get out of the house without asking for a ride! And the TV frees up my monitor from downstairs, meaning I can have a two monitor setup and increase my efficiency by... some degree idk-

Anyways, very exciting stuff. Now I just have to hope I can like... actually start writing and drawing stuff again-
