“Who did this to you?”

Bakugou’s voice is low, dangerous. His eyes are sharp as they stare at you.

“What?” You blink rapidly at him.

After a year of being friends with Bakugou, you’re used to him frequently being at some level of pissed off or annoyed.

But you’ve never seen him look so angry. Like he could tear the world apart.

“This.”

You’re not prepared when Bakugou reaches up to angle your chin towards him, your breath catching as his calloused fingertips grip against your skin. He brushes his thumb, feather-light, against your cheekbone. It’s then you remember the bruise there.

“Oh! I had a practice bout with one of the new kids at our gym. He got in a lucky punch but hit me a little too hard. He’s still learning,” you say.

You smile at Bakugou and raise your hand to pat his, the one cupped against your cheek.

“Don’t worry, Bakugou. It looks worse than it actually is.”

Bakugou grunts. You expect him to step back, let go.

But he’s still, gaze locked on your face, thumb brushing back and forth against your skin like it doesn’t send shivers through your entire body, like it doesn’t make your face feel like the surface of the sun.

Nervous about his intense attention, you bite your bottom lip. Bakugou’s eyes drop to track the movement and stick there.

You can’t breathe. Is he…?

The sound of distant footsteps drawing nearer pops the bubble you’re in.

Bakugou pulls away. He doesn’t go too far, though, and because you’re so close, you can see that the tips of his ears are red, despite his neutral expression.

“Don’t box with that kid again,” he says, voice raspy, a little husky.

You swallow and nod before his words can process. Bakugou nods back, satisfied, before turning to walk away.

He’s halfway down the hallway before you come to your senses. Wait. You make a face.

“You’re not the boss of me!” you call at his retreating back.

He stops. Turns.

“What’d you say?” he asks, eyes narrowed at you, handsome face skewed into a scowl.

You know you should be intimidated, but. You think about the look in his eyes when he touched you. The heat of his palm.

So you just smile at him.

“You heard me.”

inviting PETER PARKER over as friends for a movie night on your laptop. you didn’t believe people actually gave a fuck about gray sweatpants and when you told pete to dress comfy you didn’t expect him to show up in a pair. your eyes glance down involuntarily, and he doesn’t visibly take note of it at first. it’s the second, or third time you accidentally make eye contact with something that the gears in his head start turning. innocent—albeit a little awkward—cuddling evolves. he gets a whiff of your hair, you feel the muscle under his fitting white t-shirt, he sees the cold perk your nipples through your pajama top, you swear there’s a halfie hiding between his legs. suddenly, your bodies start to gravitate towards one another a little more purposely, nudging each other while “adjusting” positions. soon, you’re not focused on the movie, you can’t stop staring at his rig through those damn gray sweatpants.

Star Wars really is so boring and not imaginative at all when it comes to gender and sexuality.

Walk with me for a sec: women with no tits bc they lay eggs. A bunch of species where the afab ones are larger, and species where they have "male" voices due to their size. Unisex species where you just can't fucking tell like with some birds. Species that don't have sex and/or gender at all. Species and cultures that have more genders than you can comprehend. You could transition and nobody would gaf because some species do that naturally, anyway. Homosexuality is uncontroversial since a human man sleeping with a human man is hardly weird when he could just as well be sleeping with a Wookiee instead. Or a Twi'lek. Or a Trandoshan.

The "rules" we're familiar with should become near obsolete in a multi-species universe if you think about it. There is SO MUCH and we're barely scratching the surface here!!

i read all your previous answers and now i am a bit curious to know if there is any difference between river and ren yandere style. i know you said ren won't hurt angel but river will hurt bunny and i want to know if there is any more difference. you can include other npc characters too since i think leon is also a yandere? maybe i'm wrong tho, idk

With that being said... Major 14DWY and UM spoilers below the cut! Some involve NSFW implications, but nothing explicit!

I wasn't sure what you meant by "yandere style", so I just provided a generic summary of certain characters and how they differ from each other. If this wasn't what you meant, please let me know!!

Yandere = Ren. While he does lean heavily towards the "dere" aspect of a yandere, he's still extremely obsessive over Angel, genuinely loves them to a terrifying degree, and is willing to commit violent acts in order to have them all to himself. I would like to quickly remind everyone that Ren will never physically harm Angel because he knows it won't make them love him (among other reasons).

Sadodere = Olivia. She's obsessed with manipulating other people's emotions, gets a rush from controlling others, and enjoys evoking feelings such as jealousy and envy from her victims. Although subtle, she does do a lot of things in 14DWY to get a rise out of Angel, Ren, and one other character (so far).

Yangire = River. He prioritises his lust and desire for violence over love and obsession. He toys with Bunny for his own pleasure and doesn't necessarily care whether they love him or not. The main reason River showed interest in them in the first place was because he felt envious of what Ren and Olivia had with Angel and [SPOILERS], so he pursued Bunny in an attempt to fill that void.

Leon was labelled as a "platonic yandere" purely for the lack of a better word. He's very protective of Angel — to the point where he'd genuinely consider killing someone if they posed a threat — however, he's not really that obsessive over them, nor does he want to have them all to himself. Or, at least, not to the degree that a typical yandere would. He does experience bouts of jealousy from time to time, but I wouldn't go so far as to call him a yandere now.

Regarding Olivia and River specifically: they aren't main characters in 14DWY, so their actions don't really hold much weight and tend to go under the radar. If/when their own spin-offs are announced, that's when they'll have their time to shine. I also want to remind everyone once more that 14DWY heavily focuses on Ren since it's (quite obviously) his game.

Regarding River: I'd also like to clarify that he originally started out as a generic serial killer* in 14DWY (with Bunny becoming his next victim), but once I gave Jesse creative control over him, they decided to make River a yandere instead. A year later, they decided River would be better off as a yangire, as it suited his actions and motives more (such as kidnapping Bunny for selfish reasons rather than out of obsession, harming them because he gets pleasure from it, etc). We both agreed that River didn't really do things to gain Bunny's love — but instead, his own enjoyment + the desire to have his very own "Angel/[SPOILER]" — thus no longer making him feel like a yandere in our eyes.

*= This does not mean River is the current killer in 14DWY.
