Judd Legum and Rebecca Crosby at Popular Information:
Today, the National Security Agency (NSA) is planning a "Big Delete" of websites and internal network content that contain any of 27 banned words, including "privilege," "bias," and "inclusion." The "Big Delete," according to an NSA source and internal correspondence reviewed by Popular Information, is creating unintended consequences. Although the websites and other content are purportedly being deleted to comply with President Trump's executive orders targeting diversity, equity, and inclusion, or "DEI," the dragnet is taking down "mission-related" work. According to the NSA source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the media, the process is "very chaotic," but is plowing ahead anyway. A memo distributed by NSA leadership to its staff says that on February 10, all NSA websites and internal network pages that contain banned words will be deleted. This is the list of 27 banned words distributed to NSA staff:
Anti-Racism Racism Allyship Bias DEI Diversity Diverse Confirmation Bias Equity Equitableness Feminism Gender Gender Identity Inclusion Inclusive All-Inclusive Inclusivity Injustice Intersectionality Prejudice Privilege Racial Identity Sexuality Stereotypes Pronouns Transgender Equality
The memo acknowledges that the list includes many terms that are used by the NSA in contexts that have nothing to do with DEI. For example, the term "privilege" is used by the NSA in the context of "privilege escalation." In the intelligence world, privilege escalation refers to "techniques that adversaries use to gain higher-level permissions on a system or network." The purge extends beyond public-facing websites to pages on the NSA's internal network, including project management software like Jira and Confluence.
[...]
The government memory hole
Since Trump took office, thousands of web pages across various federal agencies have been altered or removed entirely. Federal agencies have taken down or edited resources about HIV, contraceptives, LGBTQ+ health, abortion, and climate change. Some web pages have later come back online “without clarity on what had been changed or removed.” An analysis by the Washington Post of 8,000 federal web pages “found 662 examples of deletions and additions” since Trump took office. The analysis found that words like diversity, equity, and inclusion were removed at least 231 times from the websites of federal agencies, including the Department of Labor, the Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Department of Transportation.
The NSA’s “Big Delete” is a form of authoritarian censorship under the MAGA regime led by the Trump-Musk-Vance axis of evil.

I've accepted that "Wall Street" and the CEOs need to change their minds about Trump, frankly, before anything will happen.... At the moment they're so happy about the potential for theft and graft and corruption they are overlooking everything else, but it's short-term thinking.
But like c'mon, no matter how far down the conspiracy rabbit hole you are, aren't you going to at some point realize that this is - besides a massive transfer of wealth from the public to a few wealthy individuals - also likely an ongoing foreign intelligence operation?
FBI, CIA, US Treasury Department and now NSA!
The NSA is trying to identify mission-related sites before the "Big Delete" is executed but appears to lack the personnel to do so. The NSA's internal network has existed since the 1990s, and a manual review of the content is impractical. Instead, the NSA is working with "Data Science Development Program interns" to "understand the false-positive use cases" and "help generate query options that can better minimize false-positives." Nevertheless, the NSA is anticipating "unintended downtime" of "mission-related" websites.
I'm not a fan of the NSA but this madness.
Also, as detailed in the article the "mass delete" is being applied to all mentions of climate change on federal websites, and 3,000 pages have been removed from the CDC website!
If you don't talk about it, it doesn't exist - right? We're in 1984 territory here.

How to Choose the Right Cloud App Development Company in India 2025
In today’s fast-paced digital world, choosing the right cloud app development company in India can make or break your business’s technological future. Whether you're a startup or an enterprise, cloud applications offer flexibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness — but only when built by the right team. As we move into 2025, the stakes are higher than ever with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) further enhancing cloud ecosystems.
So, how do you make the right choice for your cloud-based software needs? Here's a practical, no-hype guide for business owners and decision-makers who want real results without wasting time or money.
Understand Your Business Goals
Before you even start looking for a development partner, get clear on what you need. Are you building a SaaS platform? Migrating from legacy infrastructure to the cloud? Integrating AI to automate business functions?
Knowing your goals will help you determine the scope, required technologies (like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud), and whether you need a company that also offers AI development services in India.
Look for Relevant Industry Experience
Not all companies are created equal. A provider with proven experience in your industry will understand your unique challenges and compliance requirements.
For example, Fenebris India specializes in cloud applications development services for sectors like finance, e-commerce, and healthcare, offering both front-end user experience design and secure backend infrastructure.
Evaluate Technical Capabilities
A trustworthy cloud app development company should offer:
Expertise in platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Integration capabilities with third-party APIs and internal systems.
Optional AI and machine learning integration.
If your project has AI-driven features, make sure they also offer AI development services in India, like this from Fenebris India, which includes predictive analytics, chatbots, and intelligent automation.
Check for Scalability & Post-Launch Support
What happens after your app is live? A long-term development partner should provide maintenance, cloud cost optimization, performance monitoring, and continuous updates.
Companies that ignore post-launch responsibilities are a red flag. Go for a provider that offers full-cycle development, including ongoing DevOps support.
Assess Their Communication Style
No matter how skilled a team is, poor communication can derail any project. Look for companies that:
Assign a dedicated project manager.
Maintain transparency through regular updates and feedback loops.
Are open to using collaboration tools like Slack, Jira, or Trello.
Read their case studies, testimonials, and online reviews. You can even ask for direct client references.
Confirm Data Security Practices
With cyber threats on the rise, your app must be protected from the start. Ensure your chosen development partner:
Follows global security standards (ISO, GDPR, SOC2).
Encrypts data both at rest and in transit.
Performs regular security audits and penetration tests.
Evaluate Cost vs. Value
Yes, budget matters. But don’t fall for the lowest bidder. Instead, evaluate what you're getting for the price — quality code, future-proof architecture, responsive support, and strategic input.
You’re investing in a long-term partnership, not just a one-time project. Consider companies that align value with cost, not those that cut corners.
Ask About Their Development Process
A structured development process is essential. Look for Agile or DevOps-driven companies that provide iterative releases, regular feedback cycles, and flexible scaling options.
If AI plays a role in your application, verify whether the team uses pre-trained models, builds custom ML algorithms, or integrates third-party AI APIs.
Include Legal and Compliance Reviews
Don’t overlook the legal stuff. Ensure that the company:
Signs NDAs and respects intellectual property.
Is familiar with compliance standards relevant to your business (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.).
Clearly outlines service-level agreements (SLAs), timelines, and penalties in contracts.

Maximize Agile Efficiency with the Right Scrum Management Solution
Agile has become the gold standard for teams seeking flexibility, speed, and continuous improvement. But Agile is only as effective as the tools and processes that support it. That’s where a Scrum Management Solution plays a pivotal role.
When implemented correctly, the right Scrum tool doesn’t just support Agile—it supercharges it, helping teams collaborate better, deliver faster, and stay aligned on goals.
Tumblr media
Understanding Scrum in the Agile Framework
Scrum is a popular Agile methodology that breaks work into manageable sprints and promotes iterative progress through transparency, inspection, and adaptation. It relies on key roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Development Team), ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives), and artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment).
Managing all of this manually or through disconnected tools can quickly lead to inefficiencies, missed deadlines, or confusion. That’s why a dedicated Scrum Management Solution is essential.
Why You Need a Scrum Management Solution
Here are a few pain points that can hinder Agile teams:
Lack of transparency in progress tracking
Difficulty managing sprint planning and velocity
Poor backlog organization
Inefficient team communication
Inadequate reporting and metrics
A tailored Scrum solution addresses these issues by streamlining workflows, improving visibility, and enhancing accountability across the team.
Key Features to Look for in a Scrum Management Solution
When selecting a Scrum tool, prioritize these essential features:
1. Sprint Planning and Management

Helping Teams Stay on Track: Automate Sprint Start & End in Jira 🚀
Managing sprints manually in Jira is straightforward, but when you're running multiple teams, boards, or projects, that simple click at the start and end of a sprint can become a recurring chore. Fortunately, Jira now supports scheduling and automating sprint lifecycle: both auto‑start and auto‑complete. In this post, we’ll explore why this is a game‑changer and how to implement it effectively—plus share tools to supercharge it, including a link to SprintRunner from Sparxsys.
🧠 Why Automate Sprint Start & End?
Always support Agile cadence Missing a manual sprint start/stop can disrupt team rituals, sprint reviews, and planning. Automation ensures sprints begin and end precisely on schedule, keeping your rhythm consistent.
Free up Scrum Master bandwidth No more manual clicks or missed sprints—sprint management can happen in the background, letting your team focus on true Agile work.
Handle complex setups When using parallel sprints or managing many Scrum boards (e.g. SAFe trains), automation ensures every sprint across teams starts and stops reliably.
🛠️ Native Jira Scheduling (Cloud & Data Center)
Jira’s built‑in auto‑managed sprints lets admins schedule sprint start and finish times:
Turn on the “Parallel sprints” setting
Create or edit a sprint
Set start and end dates
Enable “Start and complete automatically”
Choose where any incomplete issues move: backlog, new sprint, or an existing future sprint reddit.com+13confluence.atlassian.com+13jira.atlassian.com+13marketplace.atlassian.comjira.atlassian.com
What You Gain:
Jira runs these transitions every minute via cron tasks
Incomplete issues transfer automatically to your chosen destination
Sprints are marked “AUTO‑MANAGED” and you get email notifications
Caveats:
All users must have their Jira profile’s timezone aligned—not board admin timezone—to ensure correct timing confluence.atlassian.com
If child tasks of closed parents remain open, Jira won't complete the sprint until they're resolved marketplace.atlassian.com+7confluence.atlassian.com+7community.atlassian.com+7
🧩 Marketplace Apps: Enhanced Automation
While Jira’s native feature is solid, several Marketplace apps take it further—perfect for teams needing timezone precision, custom handling of incomplete issues, or multiple team channels.

How to Choose the Best Software Development Company for Your Business
Finding the best software development company isn’t just about picking a company that can deliver code. It’s about trust, quality, and ensuring the team understands your vision. A bad choice can lead to missed deadlines, wasted money, and a product that doesn’t meet your needs. Getting it right matters more than ever in today’s competitive market. This guide gives you clear steps to find a partner who aligns with your goals, works well with your team, and helps your business grow.
Understanding Your Business Needs and Goals
Before you start searching for vendors, you need to know what you want. Think of it as building a blueprint for your project.
Define Your Project Scope and Objectives
What’s the main goal? Do you need a custom app, a mobile platform, or to connect existing systems? Clarify exactly what you want to achieve. Clear goals help you find a team capable of delivering that vision without unnecessary extras. For example, if you're creating an e-commerce app, focus on features like shopping carts and payment integration.
Assess Technical Requirements and Skills
Identify which technologies your project needs. Will it run on iOS, Android, or web platforms? Do you require specific features such as user login, data analytics, or real-time updates? Understand the skills your project demands, so you can look for developers with proven expertise in those areas.
Determine Budget and Timeline Constraints
Set a realistic budget early on. How much can you spend? How long do you have to launch? If your budget is tight, your project scope might need to be smaller or phased. Outlining deadlines keeps everyone on track and prevents scope creep. Remember, rushing can compromise quality, so balance your needs with your resources.
Researching Potential Software Development Partners
Evaluating Experience and Portfolio
Review their past work. Do they have case studies similar to your project? Check if they’ve built apps or systems of a similar size and complexity. A solid portfolio shows they can handle your needs and deliver quality solutions.
Checking Client Testimonials and Reviews
Read feedback from their previous clients. Do they mention reliability, communication, or problem-solving? Positive reviews, especially from clients who returned for other projects, are a good sign. Long-term relationships show trust and satisfaction.
Evaluating Technical Expertise and Methodology
Assessing Technical Skills and Technologies
Confirm they’re proficient with the technologies your project requires. Look for certifications or awards in those areas. If your app needs Node.js or React, the team should have proven experience.
Understanding Development Methodologies
Find out what approach they use. Agile, Scrum, or DevOps? These methods focus on flexibility and continuous improvement. Pick a methodology that matches your style—if you want regular updates, Agile is often best.
Ensuring Quality Assurance Processes
Quality matters. Ask about their testing methods, code reviews, and how they handle bugs. Teams that emphasize quality minimize delays and deliver a stable product. Continuous testing and user feedback loops ensure your project stays on the right track.
Analysing Communication, Collaboration, and Cultural Fit
Communication Skills and Responsiveness
Test how quickly they respond to emails or calls. Clear, prompt communication shows they value your input. During initial conversations, see if they listen well and clarify your questions.
Collaboration Processes and Project Management
Understand how they manage projects. Do they use tools like Jira, Trello, or Slack? Clear processes help monitor progress and catch issues early. Agree on how often you'll receive updates and who your main contacts are.
Cultural Compatibility and Time Zone Considerations
Choose a team that matches your work style. Consider language skills and working hours. Overlapping time zones make meetings easier. Shared values and work ethic also matter—they help foster trust and smoother collaboration.
Comparing Proposals and Cost Evaluations
Review detailed proposals. Do they address your goals, timeline, and budget? Beware of quotes that seem too low—they might cut corners. Balance cost with quality to avoid future headaches.
Choosing the best software development company is about much more than finding someone who codes well. It’s about understanding your needs, doing thorough research, assessing expertise, and ensuring good communication. Pick a partner who shares your values, fits your culture, and is committed to your success. With due diligence, you’ll set your project—and your business—up for growth and achievement. Take action, ask the right questions, and choose wisely for long-term success. For more details, please visit our website: https://www.pixelpii.com/

Mastering the Test Cycle with Provar
If you're part of a QA team, dev team, or anyone in the business of delivering high-quality software, you've probably heard the term Test Cycle more than a few times. But what does it really mean? And how can you manage it better—especially when you're working with Salesforce and complex release pipelines?
Let’s break it down in a way that’s easy to follow and (hopefully) stress-free. Whether you're manually tracking test cases or using automation tools like Provar, understanding your test cycle can mean the difference between a smooth release and a post-deployment nightmare.
What Is a Test Cycle, Really?
At its core, a Test Cycle is just a fancy way of saying: “Here’s the group of test activities we’re doing for this version, sprint, or release.” Think of it like a checklist, but way more structured. Every time your team pushes out a new update, feature, or integration, you go through a test cycle to validate everything is working as expected.
A typical test cycle includes:
1. Planning what to test
2. Designing the test cases
3. Executing the tests
4. Tracking and fixing bugs
5. Retesting, and
6. Reporting on everything
The cycle might sound linear, but in reality, it’s more like a loop—especially in Agile environments where testing happens continuously.
Why Test Cycles Matter (More Than You Think)
A lot of teams overlook just how crucial a test cycle is. Sure, we all want to test, but without a well-managed cycle, you’re flying blind. You don’t know what was covered, what passed or failed, or even if the current build is safe to deploy.
Here’s why managing your test cycle matters:
1. It improves coverage. You know exactly what’s being tested and what’s not.
2. It makes collaboration easier between QA, dev, and product teams.
3. It gives clear visibility to stakeholders.
4. And most importantly—it helps catch bugs early, before they snowball into bigger issues.
The Six Stages of a Test Cycle (Explained Simply)
Let’s walk through a standard test cycle step-by-step—but we’ll keep it simple and real-world.
1. Test Planning
This is where the team asks: What needs to be tested in this release?
You identify the scope, the test objectives, test environments, and the timeline. In Provar, this is where you can organize tests into suites based on user stories, risk, or functionality.
Pro tip with Provar: You can tag and categorize tests to match your sprint goals, so you’re not wasting time running unrelated scripts.
2. Test Design
Now that you know what to test, it’s time to design how you’re going to test it. This includes writing test cases or generating them with automation tools. With Provar, this gets a major upgrade—you can auto-generate test cases based on metadata, user stories, or past behavior using Provar AI. It saves tons of manual effort and reduces human error.
3. Test Execution
This is where the action happens. Your test scripts run—manually, automatically, or both—and results start coming in. With Provar’s automation engine, this step is scalable. You can execute tests across different environments, browsers, and Salesforce orgs, all while tracking pass/fail results in real-time.
4. Bug Tracking & Reporting
Spoiler alert: not all tests will pass the first time. That’s okay—this stage is about logging those bugs and making sure they get assigned, tracked, and fixed. Provar integrates with tools like Jira, so defects found during testing can be automatically linked to stories, making it easy to communicate with developers.
5. Retesting & Regression
Once the bugs are fixed, it’s time to rerun those failed test cases and also double-check that nothing else broke in the process (yep, regression testing). Provar helps here too—you can reuse test assets and schedule regression suites to run overnight or during code check-ins.
6. Test Closure & Reporting
Finally, you wrap it all up. You check coverage, generate reports, and review the results with the team. Did you meet your quality goals? Were there high-severity issues? With Provar’s built-in dashboards and test cycle reporting, you can present clear, actionable metrics without manually building slides.
The Role of Automation in a Test Cycle
Managing a test cycle manually is possible… but let’s be honest—it’s exhausting. It can drain resources, delay releases, and overload QA teams with repetitive tasks. That’s where automation comes in—not just as a time-saver, but as a smarter, more scalable way to handle testing from start to finish.
Automation helps reduce the heavy lifting, improve accuracy, and free up your team to focus on higher-value work like exploratory testing and strategy. With Provar, automation is embedded into every stage of the test cycle.
During the planning phase, manual setups can be time-consuming and disorganized. Provar solves this with pre-built templates and intelligent tagging that streamline test organization right from the start. In the design phase, writing every test case by hand becomes repetitive fast. Provar’s AI-powered test generation accelerates this process by automatically creating test cases based on metadata and requirements.
As you move into test execution, manual testing is often limited by human availability and device access. Provar allows you to schedule test runs, execute them in parallel, and scale across environments—saving countless hours. When it comes to bug tracking, many teams rely on manually logging issues and exporting data. With Provar, those defects are automatically captured and integrated with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or even Slack for seamless collaboration.
In the retesting stage, rerunning failed tests manually can drain time and morale. Provar makes it easier by allowing teams to reuse existing test cases, rerun only what’s needed, and track changes efficiently. Finally, in the reporting phase, many teams still struggle with spreadsheet chaos and last-minute status updates. Provar replaces that with real-time dashboards, clear metrics, and exportable reports that make stakeholder communication a breeze.
In short, automation enhances every part of the test cycle—and with Provar, it’s not just easier, it’s smarter.
Provar’s Take on Smarter Test Cycles
At Provar, we know that testing isn’t just a checkbox at the end of development—it’s the engine that drives quality. That’s why our platform is built to support the full test cycle, from planning to closure. With our native Salesforce integration, drag-and-drop UI, and support for DevOps tools, you can shift testing left, keep it in sprint, and get feedback faster than ever before. No more post-sprint bug hunts. No more outdated spreadsheets. Just consistent, scalable testing—backed by automation and designed for your team’s success.
Common Test Cycle Challenges (And How Provar Solves Them)
Let’s be real—test cycles don’t always go smoothly. Here are a few common problems and how Provar helps tackle them:
Poor Test Visibility
Problem: Teams don’t know what’s been tested or what failed.
Solution with Provar: Use test dashboards to get real-time insights into test results, execution coverage, and open defects.
Manual Overload
Problem: Too much time spent writing and re-running test cases.
Solution with Provar: Use Provar AI to auto-generate test cases and run them across orgs with minimal effort.
Disconnected Tooling
Problem: QA, dev, and product teams use different tools that don’t talk to each other.
Solution with Provar: Integrate with Jira, Git, CI/CD, and Slack to keep everything—and everyone—in sync.
Conclusion: Build Better Test Cycles with Provar
A well-run test cycle isn’t just good practice—it’s essential for delivering stable, high-quality releases. Whether you're testing a new Salesforce update or launching a critical feature, your test cycle is the backbone of software quality.
