It seems that Sam Claflin has a new projet with Amazon: "Lazarus", a mystery-thriller.
It will be a limited TV series. Along with Sam, Its set to appear Bill Nighy - with whom he played already in the phenomenal "Their Finest"- playing his dad this time, and Alexandra Roach, whose work i'm not familiar with, though that will be corrected ASAP (this weekend), she will play Sam's sister.
Source comes from Variety (by Joe Otterson), so Its trustworthy info to me, they always get It right, i trust them.
Also its an original story written by Harlan Coben for the series, so no book to read this time (insert sad face here). I like Harlan Coben and Sam Claflin so I'm excited to know more about It.

Good Omens season 3: sort of saved?
I'm still processing how I feel about this, but for anyone who hasn't seen today's news yet:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
From the Hollywood Reporter:
"The third and final season of Good Omens at Prime Video will stretch — or maybe shrink — the definition of “season” in TV terms.
The Amazon-owned streamer announced Thursday that the series, which stars Michael Sheen and David Tennant and is based on Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel, will end with a single, feature-length episode. The 90-minute installment is set to begin production early next year in Scotland.
Prime Video also noted that Gaiman won’t be involved in production on the series ender (though he did contribute to its writing). Earlier this year, five women accused the author of sexual assault; their claims are detailed in a podcast titled Master: The Allegations Against Neil Gaiman. He has denied any wrongdoing but offered to step away from the final Good Omens to let the production go forward and conclude the story."
From Variety:
"‘Good Omens’ Season 3 to Consist of One 90-Minute Episode, Neil Gaiman Not Involved in Production
By Joe Otterson
“Good Omens” Season 3 will be just one episode and will move forward without Neil Gaiman, Variety has learned.
It was previously announced that Season 3 of the Amazon Prime Video series, which is based on the book of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Gaiman, would be the show’s last. However, production was paused on the third season in September after Gaiman was accused of sexual assault by multiple women.
Now, Prime Video has confirmed that Season 3 will consist of one 90-minute episode, with production expected to resume in early 2025 in Scotland. According to an individual with knowledge of the situation, Gaiman had contributed to the writing of the series finale, but he will not be working on the show once production resumes. He is also no longer listed among the show’s executive producers for the final episode."
Sources: Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Terry Pratchett/Rob Wilkins on X.
Edit: @fuckyeahgoodomens also covered this here, with the text of the Terry Pratchett website press release, which begins:
"Today, Prime Video announced that it has confirmed that the global, fan-favorite series Good Omens will return for a third and final season. They have confirmed, as follows:• The third season will comprise of one 90 minute episode starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant who return as the angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, respectively."

“Monday Night Raw” saw its linear ratings rise this week as the post-Vince McMahon era of WWE begins. “
“Monday’s show on USA Network drew an average audience of 2.3 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic, according to Nielsen figures. “
“The company since revealed that it would restate financial statements going back to 2019 as certain payments totaling $14.6 million made by McMahon between 2006 and 2022 should have been recorded as expenses. “ (Otterson, Variety)

Variety- “CW Head Mark Pedowitz Talks Streaming, End of ‘Arrow’,’ ‘Supernatural’”
Context: Summer TCA 2019 (...) Pedowitz also spoke about the end of CW cornerstones “Supernatural” and “Arrow,” both of which will conclude during the 2019-2020 season.
“All I can tell you is Jared [Padalecki], Jensen [Ackles], Peter Roth from Warner Bros,, and myself had a very long, sad, heartbreaking, discussion and we all came to understand what the guys wanted to do. They wanted to go out still loving it, they wanted to be with their families, and they wanted to see what else was out there.” Pedowitz also said that the feeling at the network had always been that when the leads were ready to stop doing the show, they would stop.
“For them and for Stephen Amell and ‘Arrow’ these shows will go out the way there were supposed to go,” he said. He also praised “Arrow” for spawning six additional DC shows in the so-called “Arrowverse,” saying that “Batwoman” was the “next evolution” of that universe. “We believe these franchises, this universe will continue for many, many years,” he said.
Pedowitz also addressed whether there would be any more attempts at developing spinoffs of “Supernatural” after two previous failed attempts.
“We have had no further discussions whatsoever in terms of a ‘Supernatural’ spinoff,” he said. “I tend to believe at this point that the show’s essence and blood is Jared and Jensen.” Pedowitz did say, though, that the CW was actively looking at a new DC property to develop currently. (...)

Stephen Colbert + George R.R. Martin = The Chronicles of Amber on TV
Tumblr media
‘Colbert will now executive produce the potential series under his Spartina production banner. Spartina joins Skybound Entertainment and Vincent Newman Entertainment (VNE) on the series version of the beloved fantasy novels, with Skybound first announcing their intention to develop the series back in 2016. The books have been cited as an influence on “Game of Thrones,” with author George R.R. Martin recently stating he wanted to see the books brought to the screen...’
That’s from Stephen Colbert to Produce ‘Chronicles of Amber’ TV Series Adaptation (Variety by Joe Otterson, Jan 17, 2023).
‘It comes seven years after The Walking Dead creator [Robert] Kirkman announced that he was developing a series based on the books with Vincent Newman Entertainment...’
[The Chronicles of Amber] follows the story of Corwin, who awakens on Earth with no memory, but soon finds he is a prince of a royal family that has the ability to travel through different dimensions of reality, called shadows, and rules over the one true world, Amber.
The books, which have sold over 15M copies, are one of the inspirations for Game of Thrones, whose author George R.R. Martin is a noted fan...’
Tumblr media
And that’s from Stephen Colbert Boards Series Adaptation Of Roger Zelanzny’s Sci-Fi Novels ‘The Chronicles Of Amber’ (Deadline by Peter White, January 17, 2023).
‘Ask, and (if you’re George R.R. Martin ceaselessly campaigning for an adaptation of Roger Zelazny’s The Chronicles Of Amber) ye shall receive. One of Martin’s all-time favorite fantasy novels might finally be headed to the small screen thanks to a decidedly unexpected bedfellow: Stephen Colbert...
“Most of all, I want Roger Zelazny’s NINE PRINCES IN AMBER,” Martin wrote. “I will never understand why Corwin and his siblings are not starring in their own show. Hey, if epic fantasy continues to do well, maybe we will finally get that. A boy can dream”...
When announcing his own project, Colbert directly referenced Martin’s “dream.”
“George R.R. Martin and I have similar dreams,” Colbert shares in a statement via The Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve carried the story of Corwin in my head for over 40 years, and I’m thrilled to partner with Skybound and Vincent Newman to bring these worlds to life. All roads lead to Amber, and I’m happy to be walking them”...
From One of George R.R. Martin's favorite fantasy novels is finally getting a TV adaptation, thanks to Stephen Colbert (The A.V. Club by Hattie Lindert, January 17, 2023).
Tumblr media
It’s been four months since this announcement. Nothing new has been announced, and this comes at a time of uncertainty for the global economy and for streaming services in particular. But this dream of Amber being brought to the screen, in some form or another, could maybe, possibly, eventually, one day happen..?
