The weird part is that I know you know a good portion of my plot but there's some omitted that I haven't given because as I make the comic for Sweet tooth bats I want it to be somewhat of a surprise;and I'm not saying which points are what (just so I don't spoil stuff 🤫), but some of it is vaguely canon if that makes any sense??? Like you mentioned that these are headcanon's and you're not sure if some are canon! Some actually are to a degree! For Sweet tooth bats I just can't say what ones yet until the comic is situated. 🤭

Some headcanons I have for my bestie Val's/Comet's characters!! Some of this stuff is things they've said being true about their characters too but I'd like to say it too cuz I'm not sure if they'd be stared in canon or not 🥺 also! Some of these go from @cupid-daze to @sweet-tooth-bats (tagging both of these just for convenience sake) so I'll break it up between the two stories! 🥺

Cupid Daze

Valentina 💘

I did ask about this and do imagine too Tina's mansion is pretty big; I also like to imagine it looks similar to Cupid's mansion from Fairly Odd Parents (will add a pic!) where it's very centered around a heart theme and the color pink, and the inside would have a lot of rooms, usually a duplicate of each room so that Tina can have appliances that fit their needs and appliances that can fit their kids' needs. (Given Tina is around 7'4 or taller she definitely needs appliances that she can use so she doesn't hunch a lot.)

Tina has a room connecting to hers that is a large wardrobe room, where she does her makeup and such. The room has many shelves and clothing hooks for their dresses and outfits, various shoe shelves and various places to store makeup. Also in that room you tend to find her borzoi Serena who likes to try and eat lipstick, so she has to keep the door locked.

Tina has one Sinstagram (Penstagram also exists but they duel; functions like if Instagram and TikTok has a Satanic baby, hence the name) account called MadamValentina which is mostly just her posting clips from performances and/or pictures of outfits. However they also have another account called sexynonbinarybitch which functions more as their talking point account. It's a healthy mix of her talking about issues present in the Monster Realm as well as Brittany Broski type content where you could swear Tina is stoned or drunk. (Or a bit of both.)

Tina used to have pen pals in the Human Realm, and had a pen pal named April whom she tried talking to whenever she could. Years later the two would reunite only for April to feel microscopic next to her friend 💀

The one video genre that will always get Tina giggling is Spy saying "your mother!", and she will not stop giggling about it if she watches it.

Samson 🧭

Sam has a little stim he does where he'll wave his hands around when getting overly excited, though he tries not to do it as he thinks it'll make him look weird.

After he is cursed by the Mysterious Illusionist, he starts to do things to help try to jog his memory/make sure he doesn't lose all his memories or anything like that. This leads to an issue as Sam ends up buying a crossword puzzle that is very sexual, and asks Tina "what is a seven letter word for oral sex on a man?", which causes her to start wheezing and trying not to cry from laughter.

His absolute favorite cereal is Grape Nuts and nobody knows if he truly likes this or if he's constipated.

Samson tried to twerk once and was punted across the house by Sylv. Like actually punted. This stocky little guy went flying.

Samson's phone case is a collage of black and white photos, typically of cityscapes and trains as he thinks those types of aesthetics are cool. (He also has a little skyscraper keychain on his phone 🥺)

Cedric 🧍

Just Jerma if he wasn't a human. Honestly.

Similarly to Jerma he can go from very goofy to extremely threatening in the blink of an eye. Like you do anything bad to anyone he cares about and he'll snap.

His favorite food is radishes and cheese slices, and he will just eat radishes he finds and not give two shits. Sometimes he even eats radishes with coffee.

Has a strange ability to go from a very romantic demeanor to saying shit that kills the mood. Like he will go from complimenting you and being flirty to saying shit like "the human anus can technically fit two raccoons in it" just out of nowhere.

Cedric moves in a very crunchy way like I have no idea how to explain it. He looks like his bones are cracking when he's walking. (He sometimes also does the trex walk™)

He talks about New York and how cool it is despite not knowing what it is. When given the chance to go to New York he quickly states "I have decided that New York does not pass the Bechdel Test." Nobody knows what he meant by that.

Cedric hates microwaves. Mainly because everytime he makes popcorn it burns. Like it blackens. He thinks the microwaves are the reason why the popcorn burns.

The Valentine Kids 🍒💐🦋🪡

Cherry and Tabi share a single braincell. Like. It is like the Xbox mom said they could play on they have to take turns.

Naira loves insects! He loves insects and always takes care of them like he takes care of his flowers 🥺 he's the one in the house to run over and scoop up any spiders and put them outside. (Gets extremely horrified when Indigo straight up eats spiders because they're a delicacy where he's from.)

Sylvester, despite being considered the edgy one of the family, is still a sweetie, and will help patch up any clothes that are torn, and even helps to sew up plushies and such.

Cherry is very unnerved by the idea that Griffins can give milk, meat, and eggs, as something about it doesn't sit right with her.

Tabi loves fruits, specifically melons. As a result Tina has to have cut up melon and fruit slices in the fridge so Tabi will eat something, as fruits are one of few foods they touch. (Though they love sweets as a whole.)

Naira and Sylv are not allowed to play Mario Kart together anymore. One of them slammed the other into a bookshelf, so now if they want to play it they either have to play by themselves, or with one of their other siblings, but they cannot play together whatsoever.

Arty/Arthur 🎸

Has ties to the Human Realm, and uses those ties to be able to help out those who may need the help in the realm, and also helps to organize protests in the realm.

Does a lot of volunteer work! He ranges from doing food kitchen work to handing out care packs, to even just working with animals.

Gets his sound from a mix of 70s and 80s rock, as well as heavy metal sounds.

Does costuming during performances and one of his favorites to do is one that's an homage to David Bowie, specifically a Ziggy Stardust costume!

Guitar is customized, mainly with different stickers he's collected, with concert tickets, and even little drawings old fans made.

Has a bit of a secret hobby! He goes out a lot to paint landscapes, and so he uses some of these paintings for his album covers. (One time he even gave Sylv one of the original paintings 🥺 got confused when he started crying and only realized it was because they were happy 🥺)

Miscellaneous!

The Mysterious Illusionist sounds like Peridot from Steven Universe!

Viktor and Rosie met prior to either of them transitioning, and stayed with each other through their transitions. They joke around and say they went from thinking the other was attractive, realizing they were jealous of the others features, transitioned, and thought the other was even more beautiful after they let their true self be 🥺

Illusionist wears a special sigil on their cloak, one which can be broken by a Master Illusionist.

Serena the Borzoi looks like a DreamWorks furry villain when wearing dog clothes. (Does that even make sense??)

Jazzy the Angel Pup will get extreme zoomies at times, and this leads to her actually flying around. (Sam calls her a little Helicopter Dog 🥺)

Sweet Tooth Bats

Kevin/Kirby 🎭

Sleep deprived one of the bunch and probably hasn't seen a full night's sleep since he was a young lad.

Tends to stay up doing anything but sleeping, and also tends to fall down the satisfying video rabbithole until he's half asleep and decides to go to bed.

For the most part he's the mature one of the group and is also the one who orders stuff on the other two's behalf.

Has one specific pillow he sleeps with because it's very soft and very comfortable for him.

His bed is like 99% plushies at this point.

Has over 1000+ hours in any Animal Crossing game.

Is stressed out by his merchant job and at times just wanders off and hopes nobody notices he went missing.

When they begin to date Salem and Ripley they get a bat and shark plushie 🥺

Ripley 🦈

The second half of the "fuck yeah concrete 👹" meme. So. "Fuck yeah concrete 👹"

The most likely to get into a fight for no real reason. It can be a street market, a Wendy's, somewhere in the middle of an ocean. They will fight someone.

Sometimes when they can't sleep they'll crawl into Kirby or Salem's bed to cuddle 🥺

Has a little Shark pup whom they refer to as Lil Buddy.

Thinks Merfolk are hella cool and a lot of times has the urge to go swimming with them/collect shiny rocks with them.

Has somehow found out about Jerma on Twitch. Has gotten at least three Jerma approved bans.

Has a very large obsession with the Lupin the III series and nobody has been able to figure this out, but it's most likely just because it makes them giggle.

Though it is a Vampyre they don't always drink blood, usually substituting it out for apple juice or tomatoes.

Has a special witches staff that was a gift to it from his parents 🥺 he even has a little bat familiar of his own!

Very wary of humans due to their own experiences of trauma, and also wary of some other monsters due to the same reasons unfortunately.

Does have the ability to plunge into deep sleeps however does so seldomly, and only does so when he feels the need or when they just want to rest from stress.

Gives Kirby and Ripley good morning and good night hugs 🥺

Possibly lives in an abandoned castle he had revamped. (Ah? Vampire joke?) Very old appearing castle as well as a moat/lake outside he has tended to.

-Ahoy hoy!

Who are you?

-My name is Austin Lee Matthews and I’m a voice actor based out of California!

What do I know you from?

-I am the voice of Demon King Jester in Cyberdimension Neptunia: Four Goddesses Online, Jun Kiwatari in Kakegurui, Tatsumi in Sword Gai the Animation, Kai in Atelier Firis, Kagerou and Erst in Summon Night 6: Lost Borders, Grimlock in Transformers Legends, Dave “Killer” Carlson in Wasteland 2, various minor roles in Hunter x Hunter, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, Aldnoah.Zero, Magi; The Kingdom of Magic and more! I was also one of the finalists in 2011′s AX Idol Voice Over competition, the first callback for BangZoom’s Opening Auditions in 2014, and I’ve co-hosted a few panels at Anime Expo, Anime Los Angeles and Titan Con.

How long have you been voice acting?

-I’ve been voice acting since April 14, 2009 (though I’ve found old cartoons I made before then that I voiced for, but I don’t count those. I count when I decided that I wanted to be a voice actor)

What kind of equipment do you use?

-I use an AT 2035 studio microphone with a Focusrite preamp, a microphone arm that clamps onto my desk, a Kaotica Eyeball acoustic housing, Audacity for recording and general mixing, Protools 10 for heavy duty mixing.

How did you become a voice actor?

-I grew up watching a ton of cartoons, doing silly voices, impersonating and repeating the dialogue from my favorite cartoons, watching documentaries about voice over (especially the Spongebob voice over featurette, which I watched religiously). Finally, I discovered online voice over through stuff like Legendary Frog, The Decline of Video Gaming, Perfect Kirby, DE: Dust, and stuff like that. Finally, after my friends and I fell in love with The Awesome Series, and quoted it so often, my friends encouraged me to start voice acting. I often attribute the Awesome Series as my initial impetus for acting, but so much led up to it that it’d be a disservice not to explain that it was really something I’ve loved my whole life.

How do I become a voice actor?

-Grab a microphone and start recording. Listen to yourself recorded. Get used to hearing yourself recorded. You will hate it for a while. Push through it. Audition for things CONSTANTLY. ALWAYS BE AUDITIONING. Cast a wide net for auditions, find what you are best at and what kind of roles you get cast in most, so you can start casting a line instead of a net. Keep at it. Save money. Get professional equipment. Take acting lessons. If you want to make money off of voice over, you need professional equipment and you need to take acting lessons. If you are using a guitar hero mic, Blue Snowball, or Blue Yeti, you are not ready to be charging money for your voice over. Learn how to mix. If you use Audacity, learn it up and down. If you use Adobe Audition, learn it back to front. If you use Protools, please for the love of all things bright and beautiful take a class in Pro Tools. You won’t be able to figure that program out yourself, I promise. MOST IMPORTANTLY: KEEP AT IT. IF YOU WANT TO DO IT, MAKE IT HAPPEN. DON’T WAIT FOR IT TO HAPPEN. MAKE. IT. HAPPEN

Do you have a voice demo?

-My character demo and commercial demos are available on my website here! I’ll be updating this with a visual reel at some point soon.

How do I make a voice demo?

That is a very big question. My best advice is “don’t do it yourself.” If you are making a demo to be presented to potential directors of online projects (i.e. Youtube, radio plays, etc.) get plenty of help from somebody who knows what they are doing. (I’m willing to help if I have time, but I do charge for my time and work when it comes to demo production). If you are looking to make a demo to present to studios or prospective agencies, save up some money and get a professional to help you. If you don’t have a big enough body of work to pull from, you will need to drop some pretty serious cash to record it in studio. If you do have a big body of work to pull from, you will need a professional to help you go through and pull out your very best bits that show off what you are best at. I put my demo together myself, but I got lots of trusted professional friends and colleagues to give me some serious feedback. I also went to college for sound design, so that helps too.

Kirby the jester lore! Staring their joval, Holly!

-Kirby is the only human in a small Troup of jovals

-Holly took Kirby in under their wing, they act as a parental figure

-Holly uses they/them, Kirby/Kevin uses he/they

-Kirby is usually really tired due to juggling two jobs (being a jester and working in customer service/as a merchant really does that to ya..),they love their jester job! Hates the customer service/merchant one... That's why they're so tired, after moving in with Salem and Ripley they quit their merchant job since he took up two jobs for their rent.

-Kirby was raised by a group of jovals! It started off with Holly, who later introduced their friends to Kirby! (The other two jovals refs will be made later on)

-Big Red is the largest! And Honey is the smallest! Holly is the second largest but in height

-How are these jovals in another realm? (Note in this realm there are humans who live there, however it is populated with monster kind the most, humans just moved there) Holly is Kirby's main/first joval, which is why they have similar outfits but different color schemes and aesthetics! Because Kirby made it a small tribute to Holly! Kirby was a kid when they met Holly, therefore they view holly as a parental figure in some ways. The other few jovals were friends of Holly so through them and meeting Kirby, they indirectly decided that they'd be Kirby's jovals too! This is all platonic (obviously) btw! Kirby met Holly through a dream which allowed Holly to come to the real (aka non dream world)/human world (for those who don't know! Jovals can only come to the human world if they have been seen by their chosen/assigned human). In this case, Holly saw a sad little kid that had a hard time finding his purpose in life and wanted to give them hope and someone to look up to, which plays a big part into why Kirby loves being a jester. Kirby has the actual clown dolls of their jovals with them!

-Holly is based off of an actual clown doll I own!

Merchant/Jester:🍭🎭

Name:Kevin but goes by Kirby in their jester gig, doesn't mind either name to be referred too

•He/they

•Part time jester and merchant, they took up two jobs to be able to sustain their living requirements; although very exhausted. They're actually a really good jester! However, he tends to get unfocused and mess up, but it garners him more attention and laughter so at times he doesn't have to worry about it despite still being embarrassed. Previous employers from some jester related gigs haven't thought much of it, in fact they'd think he did it on purpose to be funny, so it works out well for Kevin/Kirby.

•Skinniest and lankiest of the trio

•21-22 y/o

•Jester attire is more elegant but silly, often sporting a white, baby blue and pastel pink color scheme with some gold accents. His merchant attire is the most elegant out of the two but considerably more simple than their jester attire, both have the same color scheme. It makes him look like cotton candy and the only two allowed to point this out without getting a yellow diamond esque stare is his partners.

•He's basically that image of the guy in the window with the cigarette 67% of the time but he's all lovey and blushy with his partners. He's the tallest but Salem and Ripley are shorter but considerably stronger than him and it makes them blush all the time.

Black hair but eventually dyes/puts some pink in it

•Refrigerates empty cardboard (he forgets to throw it out lol)

Shark Tamer:🦈🌊

Name: Ripley

•They/them but doesn't mind other pronouns as they are apathetic towards gendered terms specifically

•Once human but got cursed to be part fish/shark, they don't mind it but get worried about outliving Kevin/Kirby. They love their sharks and are actually happy they can swim underwater with them since the curse/transformation.

•They meet Salem and Kevin/Kirby post curse however

•Stocky but slightly toned,arms are the most toned/beefy

•20-21 y/o

•Their clothing style is more street wear-esque with a slight hint of flowiness at times but they usually wear a tube top thing and dark blue baggy streetwear type pants with rips in it with red accents.

•They also have gills on their neck and sharp teeth! They have shark like teeth but 3 specific teeth are oddly longer but Kirby/Kevin and Salem think it's cute

•They appear more human-like but the longer they're swimming or underwater the more shark-like they become! It is not an H20 mermaid situation, if they get water on them for a split second they're absolutely fine! They'll get grayish-blue skin as a result of their curse

•Darker blue and white hair

•They have a tattoo on their one shoulder!

•Can pick up both Kevin/Kirby and Salem with ease

•Melancholic personality but also mischievous; therefore they and Salem get the sillies and Kev/Kirby are just 🧍

•Due to sharks being often misunderstood, as they actually do not pursue humans but are merely curious, they also get their fair share of misunderstood situations due to the curse and also working with sharks

•Two of their sharks are named Finn and Wave

Name:Salem Cynfael, nickname is Sally. Last name is pronounced 'Sin-fell'.

•He/they/it

•Chubby and pear shaped!! Very squishy in the face

•21-23 y/o

•They like to wear the usual cape and cravat type vampire get up but they switch it up every now and again, they just like the flowiness of the cape (it's his favorite!!) But other than that it's often seen wearing dark colors with occasional splashes of bright colors, they would like the scene and goth styles (given that they're a younger vampire)!

•They dye part of their hair red as a way to honor their deceased mother, as he has his deceased father's hair color so it combined the two colors in its hair!

•Very smiley for a vampire, often bleps which makes the other two go 🥺 bc they look so silly with their fangs in the mix of the blep, it's one of their stims!

•Has a slight accent! Is it German or Romanian?? We don't know (yet) lol

•Has umbrellas as to not get so burnt by the sun!

•fascinated with humans but most humans have appeared to be scared of him from the little interaction he has gotten with them, still wishes to be friends. Thinks they're "Full of life;" Salem only drinks animal blood if he absolutely needs to, other than that he doesn't drink blood.
