The idea makes sense with Jay being there, too. The illusion of a makeup parlour breaks when one of Lacey's clients is Jay, who is already dead. It's the explanation for the weird occurrences with the customers needing fixing, and the white gloves accompanying it.

Hey uhhh so, I'm sure i'm NOT the only one who noticed how Charlie looks a BIT too similar to Rocío on the demo right?

Sooo...i'm suspecting...following the Possesion theory (or Personal Hell theory)

Grace helped Rocío connect her conscience to the games.

In the same screenshot I used, she says "and here I thought she was dumbfounded by MY genious" which means, she DID that machine. And the way they are with the wires is pretty similar (comparition below)

They look prety familiar, except Charlie's looks...safer

And with Grace having already admited SHE made that, it's pretty suspicious

And also, remembering my last post where I mentioned that Rocío's face is mostly shown melting, and Grace mentioning this...yeah.

I would like to present to everyone...

The Clayspiracy.

Aka the biggest family tree conspiracy theory in the Pokémon fandom, all curated by moi.

The centerpiece of this theory is of course as the name implies gym leader Clay of the Unova region.

The goal? To decipher the family tree and further beyond.

As we know this begins with Lian, a warden of the Pearl Clan in Hisui and obvious ancestor to Clay.

However... Have we ever considered that maybe Lian has another descendant? My proposal, is Gym Leader Byron of the Sinnoh region.

Of course then if Byron is related to Clay (which I'd say they're brothers) then that would mean his son Roark is also part of this family tree.

With Roark canonically being Byron's son, then that would mean that if Byron is in fact Clay's brother, then Roark would have a cousin. That being Clay's canonical daughter, Lacey.

Now this has been under contention for a while...who is Lacey's mother? If you've been on my blog for a while you might be familiar with who I think it is. I believe that Lacey's mother is Gym Leader Tulip of the Paldea region.

Now of course, what would Tulip be doing all the way in the Paldea region away from her family? What if...there was another child? What if she and Clay were divorced? Divorce is a common reason for children to be bullied in school...

We know Ortega has an unnamed mother, and that his family owns an apparel company. Tulip is a model, and seems rather busy, like she's making a lot of money...

Now by now I'm sure that you're assuming I'm finished. However there's one last piece in this puzzle. One more character...a character with an unnamed father, mother, sister, and brother...

Yancy/Nancy!

So now, let's go over everything in a more fanfic-y description. Clay is the descendant of Lian, and is the brother of Byron, and uncle to Roark. At one point he moved away from Sinnoh to Unova, where he married Tulip and had three kids, Yancy, Ortega, and Lacey. Yancy would become the TV personality Nancy. Eventually, Clay and Tulip got a divorce, and Tulip left for Paldea taking Ortega with her, where he would be bullied for having divorced parents and thus join Team Star. Meanwhile, Lacey would start attending Blueberry Academy.

And that's finally the end of it. Dropping the MatPat act, honestly do I really believe this? I mean, I don't think it's canon, but it's a cute headcanon. And obviously there's some small details that while not disproving anything do make things muddy. Like, Yancy's brother is said to own a Leavanny, and when she's on her show as Nancy, her interview with Clay doesn't read like someone talking with their father (though that could also just be viewed as just being professional for the sake of television).

Overall, don't take my words as gospel, and just have fun.

YAY angst right after I come back from my vacation!!

I got into a (can I even call it analog horror? yeh I think so) analog horror series!!! It is called Lacey's games and it is NOT for the faint of heart. If you decide to check it our I warn you there will be a lot of themes of: drug abuse, animal abuse, self harm, suicide, abuse, body horror, etc etc YEH lotsa nasty BUT it is a good series!! The main girly that is in the picture (one on the right) even reminds me kind of, of Lain Iwakura :3c (I am putting so many serial experiments refrences into my favourite characters damn. lamb was first and now this girly)

Oh my god. I just realized something. I think i'm onto something. This is wild. I finished watching s6 of ouat over a month ago, and i just saw a random rumbelle post, and something clicked in my brain.

Lacey liked Rumple's dark side, but he still wanted Belle. We already knew that.

Belle kept wanting Rumple to become someone else, she couldn't accept him the way he was. We knew that too.

Rumple says he loves Belle because she sees the good in him. But in later seasons, he realized that he felt unable to become who she wanted him to be. He accepted who he was, didn't want to change anymore, but still loved Belle for seeing him as a better man than he actually was. For putting hopes in him that would be dissapointed again and again.

That's not a positive thing. That's not "you make me believe in myself and in my ability to change." He's convinced he won't change. He knows he will only cause them both pain. And he loves that pain.

You can't convince me otherwise, Rumple has deep-rooted self-hatred. He thinks he deserves to suffer. His love for Belle isn't positive. It's masochistic. He unconsciously uses it to punish himself. He can tell himself he has accepted his dark side all he wants, deep down, he still hates himself for not being able to change. And he wants Belle to remind him of this. He gets a bitter satisfaction out of dissapointing her again and again. "See? I'm a failure. No one could ever love me for who i am."

My candidate as to who Lacey's mother could be.

I'll admit, a tiny bit of a stretch (outside of the similar design detail). But I think it could work. Tulip has several businesses and maybe has one in Unova. And I can see Clay liking a businesswoman. Plus, things can be both cute and beautiful. But idk, what do you all think?

P. S.: Tulip's hair looks more similar in shade to Lacey's hair in game. Though perhaps that's due to the lighting. Although, perhaps Lacey has genes from her grandparents. It's possible.

Hey do you have any series on what may have happened to Lacey's parents and does Lacey have any siblings? Because I have been a bit curious about that

Nothing in the series so far has alluded to Lacey (or even Rocio's) childhood before living with her uncle. A likely answer is that her parents died when she was young, but there is nothing in the series that suggests that specifically. Nothing implies she has siblings, either. But if she did, they would not be around, either.

Rocío is corrupting Charlie's videos

Soo...as many theories I made, this was one of those theories I never thought of posting.

So, we're all on the fact that Charlie is making the videos right?? She records and surely she also edits the videos.

Lacey's Diner is the most simply edited video, but ever since Lacey's petshop and The disturbing rabbithole, more glitches started appearing on these videos that i'm sure were NOT added by Charlie. The disturbing rabbithole is probably the one with most glitches and disturbing things on it, considering I literally just found a new one while taking screenshots

(there's no way Charlie would have ignored that)

Charlie would have NOT added that herself, as it also kind of makes the video less understandable at times. And she would also NOT have ignored that.

And most of these glitches quite literally have Rocío's face on it or something regardings to her. So that's why I think it was probably her who corrupted the videos behind Charlie's back.

But how? Well, about Petshop I'll be real honest to you I DON'T KNOW. But about The disturbing rabbithole, it was mentioned Grace gave Charlie the HTML files.

So since Rocío is possesing Lacey (or atleast i'm following the possesion theory) and she's in the games, the html files being on Charlie's computer probably gave her access to her files. Like a virus!
