HELLO DESI READER??! omg can u write a fluff abt the members learning abt reader’s culture and maybe a cute reaction to wearing traditional clothimg 😖 - 🌷
a/n: TULIP MY BABY HI this one made me giggle and sob at the same time… i wrote out little scenarios for each of the members below hehe i hope it makes sense? i can do the reactions for all members in another ask though since i only wrote jaehyun’s in this </3 contains: member x desi reader, fluff!
sungho - watching bollywood movies together
“it’s a classic babe, you have to love it!” you squeal as you put the movie on. the sheer length of it has sungho sweating, not sure how he’ll get through 3 and half hours of a singular movie… that’s easily the length of 3! but he complies, wanting to learn more about the references you randomly drop, and also knowing the differences between all the different acronyms you say instead of the full movie names. watching ‘k3g’ now, the blanket over you both with a small bowl of popcorn feels rather comforting as you lean into his chest. and as the scenes and songs pass by, you are rather proud of hearing your boyfriend ask to see another one between tears at the final reunion of the brothers and their father. "please pick a happy one though!"
riwoo - teaching him classical dance
whether it be ballet or hip hop, riwoo is a pro at it all. but as you stood beside him, hands on your hips, he’s feeling nervous as ever as he does the pose you did. “hey! fists! don’t let them falter,” you say, tapping on his wrists as he smiles. he feels your hand go on his back, pushing against slightly to make him straighten his back. “and your feet! baby, i told you! 45° degrees, almost perpendicular!” he nods as he does so, fixing his posture as he feels the burn in his thighs from sitting in this position for almost 3 minutes now. not a long time, but staying in one place without moving? harder than he thought. “you’re more strict than me baby,” riwoo chuckles, finally able to move around as the timer on your phone goes off. you smile back, handing him a water bottle, “just teaching you how i got taught.”
jaehyun - his reaction to watching you walk out in traditional wear
jaehyun’s had his eyes shut ever since you told him to close them before walking out of your room. he could hear the heaviness of what you wore along with the jingling sound of your jewelry before it stopped and you stood in front of him. “ok, you can open your eyes now,” you say, nervous as you wait for him to do so. his eyes fluttered open as you fiddled with the ends of your chuni, him immediately dropping his jaw at the sight of you wearing a baby blue lehenga. the color of it contrasted the bright gold, bringing out your features and totally driving him insane. “babe… you’re… gorgeous… i think i just died and came back to life like 15 times because of your beauty,” he says, to which you respond to jumping into a hug, “you’re so dramatic.”
taesan - sharing hindi music with him
“and this is one of FAVS ever!” taesan just smiles as you put on yet another song from your bollywood playlist on his studio’s computer. the loud sound startles you, your boyfriend taking notice and lowering the volume as he pulls your chair closer to him. he taps along to the beat as the music video plays, bright colors and a whole hoard of dancers along with the main actors at the very front. it has a totally different, more joyous vibe than the last song played, a sweet and sensual romantic song showing heavy chemistry between what you told were the hero and heroine of the movie. he just thought of them as you both, still thinking about the last one as he looks at you instead.
leehan - helping you put on anklets
your boyfriend watched as you put on your jhumka’s, almost done as you put the back on the second one. your ears weighed down from the weight of them, and leehan noticed it, wondering how you’re even able to wear something so heavy. taking the paayal from your hands, he squatted on the floor before you could protest. “let me help you,” he smiled up at you, instantly melting your heart, so you let him. lifting up the bottom of your sari, you watched as he wrapped one of them around your ankle, taking a little bit to figure out how to hook it on properly. but once he was able to, he quickly finished doing so with the other one as well. “there, all done,” he stood back up leaning down to kiss your forehead. all he could think was how beautiful you look, helping you up as he took your hand in his.

introductory post (◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hellooo <3 I've been on Tumblr for a few years now, however, lately I have become a bit of a slacker in terms of my student and professional life and a lot of y'all have inspired me to get a studyblr + accountability blog to help keep myself in check, focused and driven
🌻 about me ♡
name: tofu
age: 23
pronouns: she/her
zodiac: ⊙ aries, ☽ scorpio, ↑ scorpio
languages I speak: english, hindi, japanese (beginner)
🌻 my favourite subjects ♡
- academic: chemistry, cybersecurity, creative writing, biology, personal finance, physics, discrete math, intro to programming (the easiest part about a cs degree yet daunting)
- non-academic: cosmetic science, psychology, literature, ancient/modern history, physics, astronomy, linguistics
I'm trying to once again pick up hobbies that I used to have as a child, such as reading, singing, gardening, cooking/baking, scrapbooking
In my free time, I love watching asian soap operas, Studio Ghibli, and sitcoms that I'd like to call my comfort shows and video essays related to all my non-academic subject interests
I'm an undergrad student currently enrolled in a computer science/fintech double major and I'm preparing either to enter the workforce or pursue a masters in either quantitative finance or bioinformatics engineering or data science (wow, the existential crisis that came with typing up that sentence). I could also talk more about my interests in the above-mentioned subject areas, or new ones as they come up. My goal is to create a routine for myself that I can actually stick to, and spend each day having learnt at least something, no matter how small. I feel like the only way to achieve that is by comparing myself to my peers (I know that is v toxic but hey it helps). Additionally I really want to learn how to drive this year, learn to crochet and keep up with new technologies, do some art journalling to take my mind off stress.
I'm so excited to meet new people on here and keep myself busy and productive! ❤️

postgame 621 and ayre are very focused on getting coral a voice of their own that isn't filtered through 621 or dolmayan, which is easy from a robotics standpoint (we know how naturally manipulating computers comes to her) but extremely difficult from a communication point of view. nevermind the fact that seria and ayre are the only two coral entities with defined wills we ever see (depending on how you view ALLMIND) with ALLMIND even calling her an abberation. i don't think beings like ayre/seria emerge commonly. i think contact is an even rarer occurrence. if there were enough people hearing coral talk or enough coral entities trying to find voices to be heard, certainly the gap would have been bridged already. but it's still relegated to the realm of obscure mysticism even among rubiconians.
anyway. back to ayre and 621 specifically.
i don't think ayre talks to 621 in what could be called a language. it's a lot more conceptual and something like pure empathy beaming of intent and emotion directly into their CCCD that is interpreted as a voice ingame and in text because we as humans hugely privilege language as a medium for communicating ideas. (there's a joke in here about beetle boxes.)
so the point is. postgame 621 tries to teach ayre how to speak. they choose corporate for entirely pragmatic reasons (because it is a strictly enforced lingua franca in human civilisation) but i know at least a small part of them wishes they could have taught her rubiconian first. but, as much as 621 is a polyglot (corporate, belter, ceres chinese, japanese, german, french) (thanks, augmentation!) they're not confident in their rubiconian (which i see as a language isolate obviously developed from japanese but maybe a couple other thrown in there, like how martian hindi has been infested by the american southern drawl) enough to pass it onto ayre. they do promise, though, they could learn it together.

Udaan by InAmigos Foundation:  Elevating Women, Empowering Futures
Tumblr media
In the rapidly evolving socio-economic landscape of India, millions of women remain underserved by mainstream development efforts—not due to a lack of talent, but a lack of access. In response, Project Udaan, a flagship initiative by the InAmigos Foundation, emerges not merely as a program, but as a model of scalable women's empowerment.
Udaan—meaning “flight” in Hindi—represents the aspirations of rural and semi-urban women striving to break free from intergenerational limitations. By engineering opportunity and integrating sustainable socio-technical models, Udaan transforms potential into productivity and promise into progress.
Mission: Creating the Blueprint for Women’s Self-Reliance
At its core, Project Udaan seeks to:
Empower women with industry-aligned, income-generating skills
Foster micro-entrepreneurship rooted in local demand and resources
Facilitate financial and digital inclusion
Strengthen leadership, health, and rights-based awareness
Embed resilience through holistic community engagement
Each intervention is data-informed, impact-monitored, and custom-built for long-term sustainability—a hallmark of InAmigos Foundation’s field-tested grassroots methodology.
A Multi-Layered Model for Empowerment
Tumblr media
Project Udaan is built upon a structured architecture that integrates training, enterprise, and technology to ensure sustainable outcomes. This model moves beyond skill development into livelihood generation and measurable socio-economic change.
1. Skill Development Infrastructure
The first layer of Udaan is a robust skill development framework that delivers localized, employment-focused education. Training modules are modular, scalable, and aligned with the socio-economic profiles of the target communities.
Core domains include:
Digital Literacy: Basic computing, mobile internet use, app navigation, and digital payment systems
Tailoring and Textile Production: Pattern making, machine stitching, finishing techniques, and indigenous craft techniques
Food Processing and Packaging: Pickle-making, spice grinding, home-based snack units, sustainable packaging
Salon and Beauty Skills: Basic grooming, hygiene standards, customer interaction, and hygiene protocols
Financial Literacy and Budgeting: Saving schemes, credit access, banking interfaces, micro-investments
Communication and Self-Presentation: Workplace confidence, customer handling, local language fluency
2. Microenterprise Enablement and Livelihood Incubation
To ensure that learning transitions into economic self-reliance, Udaan incorporates a post-training enterprise enablement process. It identifies local market demand and builds backward linkages to equip women to launch sustainable businesses.
The support ecosystem includes:
Access to seed capital via self-help group (SHG) networks, microfinance partners, and NGO grants
Distribution of startup kits such as sewing machines, kitchen equipment, or salon tools
Digital onboarding support for online marketplaces such as Amazon Saheli, Flipkart Samarth, and Meesho
Offline retail support through tie-ups with local haats, trade exhibitions, and cooperative stores
Licensing and certification where applicable for food safety or textile quality standards
3. Tech-Driven Monitoring and Impact Tracking
Transparency and precision are fundamental to Udaan’s growth. InAmigos Foundation employs its in-house Tech4Change platform to manage operations, monitor performance, and scale the intervention scientifically.
The platform allows:
Real-time monitoring of attendance, skill mastery, and certification via QR codes and mobile tracking
Impact evaluation using household income change, asset ownership, and healthcare uptake metrics
GIS-based mapping of intervention zones and visualization of under-reached areas
Predictive modeling through AI to identify at-risk participants and suggest personalized intervention strategies

Human-Centered, Community-Rooted
Empowerment is not merely a process of economic inclusion—it is a cultural and psychological shift. Project Udaan incorporates gender-sensitive design and community-first outreach to create lasting change.
Key interventions include:
Strengthening of SHG structures and women-led federations to serve as peer mentors
Family sensitization programs targeting male allies—fathers, husbands, brothers—to reduce resistance and build trust
Legal and rights-based awareness campaigns focused on menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, domestic violence laws, and maternal care
Measured Impact and Proven Scalability
Project Udaan has consistently delivered quantifiable outcomes at the grassroots level. As of the latest cycle:
Over 900 women have completed intensive training programs across 60 villages and 4 districts
Nearly 70 percent of participating women reported an average income increase of 30 to 60 percent within 9 months of program completion
420+ micro-enterprises have been launched, 180 of which are now self-sustaining and generating employment for others
More than 5,000 indirect beneficiaries—including children, elderly dependents, and second-generation SHG members—have experienced improved access to nutrition, education, and mobility
Over 20 institutional partnerships and corporate CSR collaborations have supported infrastructure, curriculum design, and digital enablement.
Partnership Opportunities: Driving Collective Impact
The InAmigos Foundation invites corporations, philanthropic institutions, and ecosystem enablers to co-create impact through structured partnerships.
Opportunities include:
Funding the establishment of skill hubs in high-need regions
Supporting enterprise starter kits and training batches through CSR allocations
Mentoring women entrepreneurs via employee volunteering and capacity-building workshops
Co-hosting exhibitions, market linkages, and rural entrepreneurship fairs
Enabling long-term research and impact analytics for policy influence
These partnerships offer direct ESG alignment, brand elevation, and access to inclusive value chains while contributing to a model that demonstrably works.
What Makes Project Udaan Unique?
Tumblr media
Unlike one-size-fits-all skilling programs, Project Udaan is rooted in real-world constraints and community aspirations. It succeeds because it combines:
Skill training aligned with current and emerging market demand
Income-first design that integrates microenterprise creation and financial access
Localized community ownership that ensures sustainability and adoption
Tech-enabled operations that ensure transparency and iterative learning
Holistic empowerment encompassing economic, social, and psychological dimensions
By balancing professional training with emotional transformation and economic opportunity, Udaan represents a new blueprint for inclusive growth.
 From Promise to Power
Project Udaan, driven by the InAmigos Foundation, proves that when equipped with tools, trust, and training, rural and semi-urban women are capable of becoming not just contributors, but catalysts for socio-economic renewal.
They don’t merely escape poverty—they design their own systems of progress. They don’t just participate—they lead.
Each sewing machine, digital training module, or microloan is not a transaction—it is a declaration of possibility.
This is not charity. This is infrastructure. This is equity, by design.
Udaan is not just a program. It is a platform for a new India.
