I like to think about Melinoe "haunting" the house of Hades. Especially from Chronos’ perspective since she’s kind of a mystery to him. She’s all that’s left of her underworld family and no matter how hard Chronos tries to kill or capture her she keeps disappearing and reappearing again. She’s like an angry spirit terrorizing the new resident of her old house. She hates what he’s done with the place. She hates how he treats the dog. She takes every opportunity to criticize and inconvenience him. Sometimes at the start of a run she'll say "unfinished business here." etc etc...

I especially like thinking about it this way because it means (in early access) her journey through the underworld starts and ends with a haunting. Dora haunts her tent, her starting point. But it’s a lighthearted haunting, they're really just roommates and Melinoe is happy to have her company. But at the end of her journey, she takes on the role of a malevolent spirit and Chronos is the "hauntee".

I need a skybound/fable crossover fic except the only person who goes over is Fenris and its literally just to put his hands on Rune's shoulders as he attempts to cook and say

curious to know why you like gin so much!

Gin is a teenage girl sage king. She personifies love without ego and is also an ambush predator. She is divine grace if divine grace were an assassin with peach scented lotion. She thinks the urban legend that cherry blossoms are so pretty because they feed on bodies buried beneath them is neat. She chose hell, and transcends it.

Metanarratively, she is the archetypal Mary conceptualized by Ryunosuke Akutagawa in Man of the West:

We sense a bit of Mary in all women. Perhaps in all men, too.... In fact, one could say that we feel a bit of Mary in the fires burning in the hearth or in the vegetables fresh from the field, or in an unglazed pot or solidly built chair. Gin is clever, decisive, perceptive, poised, and impish. She loves her older brother. She likes lace and florals and gourmand scents and play aggression. She's quick to blush.

hi just wondering what made you want to get ur life together? im still in the loop of consuming self help content and planning everything but i haven’t really started accomplishing anything to make myself improve and its making me feel bad, but i just cant seem to find the push to make me start. any advice?

first of all, thank you so much for this question - it's something i think about a lot, and honestly? i completely understand where you're at right now. that cycle of consuming content but not taking action is something i was stuck in for the longest time.

for me, the turning point wasn't one big dramatic moment. it was actually a random tuesday when i realized i'd spent three hours scrolling through "how to be productive" videos without doing anything productive at all. the irony hit me so hard i had to laugh at myself!

what really pushed me to change was this tiny realization: all the planning and researching in the world couldn't replace even 5 minutes of actual doing. i was using self-improvement content as a form of procrastination, and it was giving me the illusion of progress without any real change.

here's what helped me break the cycle:

start ridiculously small i mean truly tiny steps. not "organize my entire room" but "put away three items." the smaller the action, the harder it is to talk yourself out of it. these micro-wins create momentum.

recognize that motivation follows action this was life-changing for me! i always thought i needed to feel motivated to act, but it's actually the opposite. taking even the tiniest action creates the motivation for the next step.

create a "done list" instead of a to-do list at the end of each day, write down what you actually accomplished, no matter how small. this shifts your focus from what you haven't done to what you have done.

find an accountability buddy having someone to check in with made such a difference for me. we send each other a simple text when we complete our daily mini-goals.

notice your resistance without judgment when you don't want to do something, get curious about that feeling instead of beating yourself up. ask "what am i afraid might happen if i try this?"

the most important thing i've learned is that transformation isn't about massive overnight change. it's about those tiny daily choices that seem insignificant in the moment but compound over time.

and please remember - the fact that you're asking this question shows you care deeply about your growth. that awareness is already the first step, and it's a really important one.

Y'know, a lot of people have (reasonably) pointed out that 07 Splinter sending Leo off to train alone to become a better leader makes no sense.

Putting aside the comics (because I haven't read them), what if Splinter sent his eldest away because he noticed the team was becoming too dependent on Leo?

What if he hoped that separating them would encourage his brothers to hone their own skills, while allowing Leo to focus on his own training without the distraction of how his brothers were faring?

Of course, we all know how that turned out...

From Vision to Purpose: Overcoming Overthinking to Build with Intention

Have you noticed how debilitating overthinking can be in our lives at times? It creeps in quietly, paralyzing our ability to move forward, to make decisions, or to even dream freely. We spend so much time measuring our lives in calendar years—12 neat little months, January to December. But what if we shifted our perspective? What if, instead of seeing time as months on a grid, we saw it as seasons? Quarters we could design intentionally, with purpose and focus.

Overthinking often creeps in when we lack focus. When our minds scatter in every direction, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, unsure, or stuck. The remedy? You HAVE to find a focus. Most especially if you are a multi hyphenate. Anchor yourself in something clear and intentional.

For me, this year, that focus is my YouTube channel. I’m not just focusing on creating content—I’m building something. A space where faith, storytelling, and purpose intersect. My vision? To scale my channel, to create content that resonates deeply, and to reach the milestone of monetization. But it’s not just about numbers or metrics; it’s about impact.

This year I decided to be intentional so I started by writing down what I wanted: What do I want my channel to look like by the end of this year? What kind of community do I want to build? What stories do I want to tell?

And then, I brought it before God. I asked Him to revise it, refine it, and align it with His will. Because a vision in alignment with God isn’t just a dream—it’s a purpose.

Seasons change, focus evolves, and visions grow. But with clarity, intention, and alignment, every season can become something meaningful.
