Had a dream last night about a gravity falls game where you play as young Stanley having to sneak around and lie to stay out of trouble with Filbrick. It wasn't really a horror game but it had a lot of horror game-like mechanics and there was a general sense of discomfort the entire time.

The only quest I can remember is one where Stanley gets a bad report card while Stanford gets a good one. Filbrick is out doing business until tomorrow so you have until the morning to try and make it look like you got good grades. There's an option to use white out on Stanford's card while he sleeps and write your name instead.

You could also get future readings from mom, who would give hints on what will happen to you next so you can start setting up lies and stealing in advance instead of scrambling to cover yourself last minute. (If you could figure out what the readings were hinting at. They got progressively more vague as the game went on, going from "I hear" and "I see", to "I feel")

You didn't get to see what happened when Filbrick caught him, it just cut to a game over screen. You could be caught and sent to your room three times before this happens (which ends the quest you're on. Because you failed to lie well enough). There is no way to win. The game would just keep going with scenarios until you lost or gave up

There was a vending machine on the board walk that had warped reflections in the glass that corrected itself when you looked at it head-on

Like, you usually say Axle and Sidecar are the same age but who's really older? Like are they days apart or months?

Hi!! Thanks for the ask!

Birthdays and ages are a fun one, because there isn’t really much to go off of. The most we have is the confirmation of a birthday month for one character, that being Mac (his birthday’s in December)! We’re not given much in terms of age range either, that’s a real vague “kid to preteen”. Regardless, I do have my own headcanons for each character’s birthday and age!

These headcanons function under the assumption that the series takes place in the year the show came out, which is 2024!

Here’s my birthdate & age order headcanons! Answering your other question, Axle is the oldest of the campers, and is older than Sidecar by a few months! I tried my best to keep it as simple and readable as possible, but a typed version will be included too!

Axle Spoiler - March 5th (2011) - Age 13 at time of series

Sidecar - June 11th (2011)- Age 13 at time of series

Mac - December 24th (2011) - Age 12 at time of series

Cruise - April 25th (2012) - Age 12 at time of series

Super paranoid because my dentist told me I had to come back for a root canal if I started feeling cold sensitivity on the tooth they worked on and I do...

#he was like in a few days. or a week. any sensitivity. or waking you up from a dead sleep.#those are like different things am i supposed to wait or no? i have no idea #they put a bunch of antimicrobial material under my new filling or something he was like give it time to work. but also if you have #any issues after a few days call #? what qualifies as a few days. how long does it take to work. i slept fine but ice water feels bad. which is it #i dont want to go back im so tired that sucked. stupid teeth.#stupid genetics. stupid [redacted].#stupid jaw clenching cracking every tooth in my mouth.#for once this was a cavity though yet still related. i cracked an existing filling partially so it had a gap separating it from its edges #letting everything and anything get in there and decay under the filling which is kinda fucked up.#they noticed it was loose and were replacing it (for the last time because there wouldnt be enough tooth left to do it again it would #have to get capped)#and then discovered it decayed down almost to the pulp? or nerve? idk in not super #versed in tooth structure #i did learn what a direct pulp cap treatment is though. that was a new one.#and he didnt charge me for it. smart move man you know you will be getting paid to work in my mouth for the foreseeable future.#he is super nice though but i know it is like “reduce your stress stop cracking these” (or im making thousands annually on your mouth 🤑)#he will making that cash on my mouth. i will break and rebreak every one of my teeth until every molar is a crown.#-pers #welcome to my blog. where every 6 months you get to hear about my poor teeth.#as i dutifully take proper care of them as always and have issues everytime i have my 6 month check up.#story of my life. someday they will all be capped or implants.#by that point i will get my vamp teeth cosmetic procedure because they will all be modified anyways.#maybe ill have figured out how not to clench and grind my molars with such bite force all the time out by then #-vent

Okay so basically the United States MINT of all people is going to be working with DC to make a line of coins! These coins sadly won't be in circulation (the things I would do to live in a world where I could get Batman coins from the supermarket) as they're collectors coins, but will be releasing over the course of the next 3 years, 2025-2027.

Designs haven't been released yet (the same is true for all 2025 designs) but we know there will be 9 coins in total (3 each year) with the first year featuring (of course!!!) Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

Although we know the first three heroes to be featured, the remaining six have yet to be decided, and it turns out the Mint is putting out a survey on their site to gauge which of a group of culturally significant heroes people want to see most! (link to the form is mentioned in the article above)

The considered group includes: Supergirl, the Flash, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Captain Marvel, John Stewart GL, Aquaman, Hawkman, Jamie Reyes BB, Robin (Damian?), Cyborg, and Batgirl, of which 6 will be selected.

As someone who does a bit of coin collecting myself (mainly circulation coins like the quarters sets, but I also have a couple proof and collectors coins) I think this is a really cool and interesting idea that showcases the history of the comics medium and these characters and their influence on American culture. Really excited to wait and see what the designs look like for the coins already announced!
